Iris smiles, "Then more wishes it is!" She sits back and thinks, tapping her chin in thought. "Let's see..." Her stomach grumbles again. Chuckling, she looks to Luki, "I think it's time for a snack or early lunch!" She taps her chin, "Now...what should I wish for...?"

Luki returned Iris' smile, relieved to see that she had pulled out of her mood. He shrugged his shoulders when she pondered aloud on what to wish for.
"You can wish for anything, so long as I know what it is." Luki said.
Trying to conjure up something one knew little or nothing about was often hazardous and never turned out well. He'd learned that one when a previous master wished for an elephant...before he'd ever seen one. That was a hard learned lesson.

Iris smiles, "How about more of those berries...oh...what were the called..." She sits there for a moment and thinks, then smiles, "Oh! I wish for some Strawberries!" She brightens up, knowing that that wish will make him happy, too.

Luki smirked when Iris wished for strawberries. Evidently she remembered that he liked them.
"Sure thing." He said with a snap of the fingers on his left hand.
A decently-sized bowl of strawberries appeared on the ground next to Iris.

Iris smiles and offers him the bowl, "Have some. I won't be able to eat them all." After he makes his decision, she pulls the bowl back after he's finished and begins to nibble on the sweet berries, loving the flavor immensely. She'll have to remember to ask him if there are any other exotic fruits that he knows of to add to her wishes.

Luki smiled and took a few strawberries from the bowl when they were offered him. He took a bite, savoring the flavor and desperately trying to recall which western country they were native to. He knew that whatever country he'd originally hailed from had had them growing wild, but the name escaped him for the moment. Oh well, it was just another part of his past that remained a mystery, even if he still knew his native tongue.

Iris sits there with Luki, nibbling on the strawberries while taking in the sights around her. Such beautiful flowers around them. Even the sky was breathtaking. Normally, she would miss all of this since she'd be so busy with her work from dawn to dusk. When she finishes the strawberries, she lays back on the ground, staring up at the sky, feeling lazy. She looks over to Luki and smiles, "Thank you."

Luki was pulled out of his mild ruminations by Iris' voice.
"Never a problem." He replied.
Luki's eyes drifted back toward the sky, taking in every detail of the blue above. A few whispy clouds could be seen here and there, but they seemed to disappear before too long. Such was the way of the dry, dry desert.

Iris stared up at the sky for a while in silence, thinking over what Luki had told her...but before long, she began to fall asleep. And, soon enough, she did drift off in slumber. After a few moments, she shifts to lay on her side facing Luki.

Luki glanced over at Iris after awhile and found that she was sleeping. Well, if anyone came looking for her they'd have a hard time finding her here. He gave a short, silent sigh at the realization that he'd be falling asleep pretty soon as well. Luki glanced over at his lamp, which was still hanging from her ear, before silently zipping inside, a small whisp of orange smoke in his wake. Once inside he crashed on his pillow bed and found himself drifting off after a few minutes.

Iris sleeps soundly for a few hours before she awakens to a shout nearby. It was her superior calling out to her.

"Iris! Iris! Oh where is that girl..." The lady huffs, walking through the gardens, past where she's hidden.

Iris scrambles up and peeks out from the vegetation to her superior's departing form. Why would she be calling her? She had done her tasks....well, she had Luki clean the place for her. It did look spotless. Now, the question is...should she show herself, or wait longer? The palace is huge, there's no way she'd find her right away, anyways....She wants to relax more...

It's then she realizes that Luki was no longer with her. She can only assume he was off somewhere, or went back into his lamp without her knowing. Regardless, she was still happy for his company. For now, she decides to relax a little longer before she steps back out into the world, away from her little sanctuary in the garden.

Surprisingly enough, Iris' sudden awakening and jerking to a sitting position went completely unnoticed within the genie's lamp. The only indication that Luki may have been disturbed in his slumber was the sight of him rolling over onto his side. No other outward motion was made by the genie. He was sleeping soundly for once.

Iris sits there, listening to the departing footsteps of her superior. She sighs and leans back again, stretching out her arms and legs, then relaxing her body. She wanted Luki's company again, but doesn't want to disturb him...She sighs and closes her eyes.

Luki didn't stir for another half hour and once he did he was slow to wake. After a few minutes of staring at his "ceiling" with bleary eyes, he sat up and found himself rather confused. It felt like a larger amount of time had passed than usually did when he slept, prompting the genie to check the time with a device he'd seen somewhere in the world. Luki blinked a few times in mild shock when he realized that he'd slept for a few hours in one sitting. Well, that was unusual but not very unwelcome.

Iris opens her eyes and reaches up to the sky as if to touch it. Oh how she wished she could see her mother again. To lay like this in the garden with her would be so wonderful...She sighs, closing her eyes and letting her hand fall back to the ground again. Time was flying by with Iris unaware.
