Luki Veles

Luki would have completely bypassed the library if his interest wasn't piqued just a little bit. He wandered inside the vast room, soon discovering that someone else was in there. The other person was none other than his master, Iris. Well, it seemed that Dyanna had done a good job of keeping her from trouble. Yep, he definitely owed her now. Luki wandered over to where Iris was, taking to floating in the air since no one else was around.
"So how's work treating you?" He asked nonchalantly from his position behind her.

The room was silence while she cleaned, but when Luki appeared and spoke behind her, Iris almost jumped out of her skin, "OH!" She almost drops the vase she was dusting, fumbling with it in her hands before she fully takes hold of it. Breathing a sigh of relief, she turns to Luki, cheeks flushed, "Don't sneak up on me like that...You scared me..."

It was only by the grace of the gods that Luki was able to keep his laughter from bursting forth when Iris jumped like that. It had been truly priceless. He couldn't help the small titter that came out when she scolded him for sneaking up on her.
"I wasn't sneaking." The genie said innocently. "You just weren't paying attention."

Iris frowns and sets the vase down before she drops it, "Well, don't surprise me like that..." Though, she doesn't know how he'd accomplish breaking the silence without startling her, but still. She tilts her head to the side, wondering why he's here, other than his lamp was hanging from her ear...

Luki watched as Iris set down the vase, figuring that it was probably a good idea when compared to running the risk of it plummeting to the floor. Not that it would matter much if the thing broke, he could always magically repair it after all.
"Okay, I'll try not to surprise you again." Luki said with a smile, his hands raised in mild and mock defense.

Iris tilts her head to the side, wondering what Luki wants, "Can I help you...with something?" She was confused. Her eyes peer up at Luki, waiting to see what he says.

"Oh no, I'm fine. Thank you." Luki replied, knowing full well the reason for Iris' question.
He just couldn't, or wouldn't, deny his more mischievous side the opportunity to mess with her. The genie was growing bored, what with the lack of wishes and all that.

Iris smiles, "Well, I'm going to get back to work." Part of her didn't want to clean...just wanting to go off and laze about the gardens...It then hits her. A brilliant idea! She spins and looks to Luki, "Can you clean this room for me?" She smiles, "That way we can go off and do what we want!"

Luki grinned when Iris turned around and asked if he could clean the room. Of course he could, provided she posed her question properly.
"Of course I can, as long as you say two little words first." He said with a smile and a tone of voice that slightly compromised his masculinity.

Iris smiles, "I wish that you would make the dust and filth that lingers in this room to vanish." That way she can go out to the shops with Luki, wanting to get out and about instead of being cooped up in the palace, doing such menial tasks.

Luki grinned when Iris wished the grime and dust to go away. Those were the words he wanted to hear.
"Sure thing." He replied brightly as he snapped the fingers of his left hand.
Small bits of magic began to flow from his fingertips, streaking around the room and looking like a hundred tiny orange comets as they went about their work. The dust and grime began to fade before it disappeared completely, the bits of magic all rushing together into a ball just above Luki's now outstretched hand. He took the ball of magic and seemed to palm it, much like a magician with a trick ball, making the orange, sparkly magic disappear altogether. The grime itself would later be found near the stables in a neat little pile that could or could not pass as a few road apples.

Iris' eyes widen as she watches Luki's magic work it's miracle. She watches the grime and filth disappear from the room, amazed. "Wow!" When the magic is done, she gives Luki a bright smiles, "What do you want to do now?" She was so excited! Her work was done! All she had to do was wish!

Luki shrugged when asked what he wanted to do next, really not having much of an inkling.
"Anything you'll want to do will probably be fine." He replied.
Luki had assumed that Iris had had something in mind when wishing her work to be finished, most people usually did.

Iris smiles, "Lets go for a walk in the garden." She wants to get to know Luki more. He says that he is contracted to her until he dies...so why not get to know him? She takes his hand and leads her out of the Sultan's library, heading towards the gardens, forgetting that she could simply wish themselves there.

Before he could respond, Luki found himself being dragged out of the library by Iris. He thought ahead enough to descend to the ground and walk behind the girl, though he couldn't help but wonder why she didn't just wish them there. There would be less of a chance for them to get intercepted by her superior, especially since she was supposed to be working. Luki shrugged, it didn't much matter to him. She could always wish herself out of trouble, so things would probably be fine.
