Dyanna shook her head and said "Goodbye, sweetie" She closed the door behind the girl. The crows had flown out the window. She closed the closet and made more appear within it.

Iris made a note that she needs to return to finish her cleaning later on. She doesn't want to continue cleaning if someone is there. Nor does she want to interfere with the Sultan's entertaining of company. For now, she'll entertain herself by cleaning another one of the Sultan's rooms where it is empty. ((Not sure what kind of room. I'm thinking personal library XD ))

~With the grace of a proffessional, the woman who claimed to Usul's mother danced through the sudden storm of blades. Some she sent flying away from her with the angle of her two swords; some struck nothing but air as she neatly dodged out of the way. Sweat trickled from her brow, and she found that there was no hope that she could even attempt a strike at him - she was entirely on the defensive at the moment.

A few seconds later, her carefully coordinated dance was tiring her greatly - for once in her life, her age made a difference between her and her opponent. But she knew that if she faltered in even the smallest of steps, she would find herself with one less vital organ. Yes; she knew exactly what his aimed targets had in common. All things that could leave her facing death if penetrated.

But it wasn't until he had finished throwing knives that she realized that something was amiss.

She didn't even have a chance to regain her breath or exhale in relief that he had run out of knives. Her breathing spiked abruptly, leaving her lungs working in a ragged, dangerous rhythm. Looking down at herself apathetically, her limp hands dropped her swords at her feet before she registered the strange object protruding out of her chest - right above where her heart should be, beating and healthy.

She fell to her knees as her body gave up her life. There was no time for shock, no time to think how the hell a trained woman like herself had allowed an attack to succeed so blatantly in a combat like this one. She looked up slowly at her towering son, unfeeling, incomprehensive, but her face filled with hatred. Hatred directed at herself for birthing the monster that had forced her to face death like this.

And in that moment – in that arrangement –, she was dead. No final choke or word. As simple as natural death – but also most dishonorable of all deaths. Frozen, staring, at her son. Her murderer.~

{ Sorry for the delay. My computer decided to hide my posts on three occassions. >< Then I got mad at it and discouraged myself and took a nap. >< }
He sheathed his last two fighting knives before finally letting his fatigue touch him. He tired like a normal man, but through force of will alone he kept himself from actually feeling that fatigue. Such a technique had led to some very strange situations before, but this time it had done nothing but pay off. He was alive and she wasn't, and really wasnt that all that mattered? He groaned as adrenaline faded and let a double portion of pain through to touch his body, before simply raising a hand and snapping his fingers.

Hopefully his genie would recognize that as a single to come and heal him before he took a very long rest on the desert sands. "Heal me and return my knives to my sheaths, after that take us both home. I need to rest and to think," he started talking to empty air, but he assumed that she would be there to hear him in the end.

Maybe she would even take the time to admire the accuracy of that one throw, and the keen edge on the blade which had taken her life. Right between the ribs and into the heart, letting the quick pumping of that organ destroy itself on his blade. "Except for the knife buried in her chest. Let her take that with her to whatever afterlife the angels judge her worthy of," he said as he closed his eyes.
(( Ouch.... >.> ))

Luki Veles

Luki had taken to wandering the halls of the palace, hood up over his head and dark glasses covering his eyes. Didn't need to stand out too much, especially in light of his most recent tomfoolery. He smirked when he passed a pair of conversing guards, the topic of the pair's conversation being the elusive phantom monkey and his friend the ocelot cub. Word always spread like wildfire and it seemed to do so twice as fast with humans. Luki soon found his feet leading him past a library of sorts.
((Aye, at least it got posted eventually >.> And I am currently moving, so I wont be posting as much. Also, I will not have internet between June 30th and July 3rd))

Dyanna poofed up a small loveseat, only long enough for herself. She adjusted her skirt and vanished her sandels. She laid on the the love seat, poofing a small fan in her hand. She waved it towards her face and slowly fell asleep. The fan, in her hand which laid on her stomach with her other hand.
Meryem Salima Abdallah
"Genie of Seduction and Order."

Meryem was at his side before he snapped his raised fingers. She knelt beside him, but her eyes - filled with an emotion she even could not find a name for - were riveted on the corpse of the woman he had killed. Her hands brushed over his wounded leg, her delicate, feather-like touch barely oppressive, healing his deep cut instantaneously with her summoned magic. Meryem's eyes lingered on the knife punctured deep into the woman's chest for a moment, before turning to Usul. Her eyes held no distinct emotion, but there was a strange mix of wariness and slight shock in them. "She really was your mother, you know," she whispered, the sandy wind blowing around them almost drowning her soft voice. She sighed in indistinct frustrated confusion, turning away from him. She stretched out her palm, sweeping it swiftly in the air in front of her. Immediately all of the blades discarded in the desert sands sheathed themselves gently within Usul's cloak.

Meryem pushed her thoughts aside, fully noticing her master's fatigue for the first time. It was high time she granted his last wish. Pulling him up with her as she stood up herself (she called upon her magic for a little help, so the action was basically effortless), Meryem dissapeared with him, leaving the desolation and sandy winds of the desert behind the. They reappeared in his personal chamber, and Meryem vaguely took note of Dyanna's sleeping form on her presonal loveseat in the side of the room. Meryem took her master's desert cloak off, sending it to where she had got it earlier to be hung.

Mimicking Dyanna, Meryem conjured a bigger sofa near the dominating bed of the room. The couch itself was half the size of the enormous bed, and just as lavishly set. She gently tugged along her master and made her way to it - stepping around the carpet without knowing it - and curling herself at the end of the sofa. She pulled down Usul simultaneously so that he was laying down with his head in her lap. She absentmindedly began stroking his hair. "If you're uncomfortable, I can move," she muttered distractedly, musing within her own thoughts. She knew that she couldn't distinctly remember her human years herself, and now she was having a hard time accepting what had just happened. No matter how hard she tried however, she failed to remember the strength of the bond between mother and child. She wondered idly if she had just recently seen a display of the desired relationship in the desert. She didn't know what to believe and what not to believe.

{ Hey everyone; I'm sorry to say but I'll be absent for a bit this coming week. I'm going on a roadtrip to and back from Niagra Falls, so I'll be gone from July 2nd to July 5th. Monday, July 6th I should be back on and posting. ;3 }

((have fun 3nodding ))
((I'd have Iris come back into the room, having forgotten something...but I don't think there's anyone to interact with now. XD
(( Luki's near a library sort of place if that's where Iris is cleaning next. ))
((YAY! biggrin ))

Iris kept herself busy with the small tasks, concentrated on her work. She was, again, cleaning a library FULL of books. So many nooks and cranings that easily collect dust and grime call her name. She sighs, unsure of how long this room is going to take her....So engrossed in her cleaning, she didn't realize Luki nearby...
