Welcome to Gaia! ::

~Talking while she was in hand-to-hand combat became more difficult. But she managed to get in a few retorting words while dodging his counterattacks. "I don't know my own son, you say? How you should wish you were right." Striking had become easier all of a sudden, but she did not put down her guard."Greed is indefinitely what motivates you. Why else would you have followed me all the way here? Why else would you have hunted me down after I had sent only one insignificant, untrained man to kill you?" Her voice dropped to a deadly whisper. "You needed to get rid of the only thing that threatened your power. Because your power is all you care for!"

He charged at her, and the sudden proximity surprised her for a moment, and she realized that the closeness brought his knives to stabbing range. She realized this, however, too late. With shock apparent on her face, she looked down to see the knife that had been in his hand protruding from her side. Her stance faltered for a moment, but she ripped it out of her body then turned to glare at him. Using her pain as fuel for her sudden rage, she charged back at him, careful to keep enough distance between them. The wound was weakening her, and she knew that it wouldn't be too long before she lost enough blood to lose consciousness. But I have enough time to kill this son of a b***h, she told herself. Gracefully swinging her swords, she used both to hold down each of the knives in his hands, using this breif oppurtunity to land a thrust kick in his face. She hoped it broke his nose.~

{ Haha, guess that means everyone's in or around the palace except for Meryem, Usul, and this shrew. ><
Btw, where'd the street rat and his genie go? }
"If you think that you are a threat to my power than you have an overblown sense of self worth," he growled as she went on the offensive once more. He began to combine his two disciplines, pivoting on his feet as he walled off certain strikes to give him an advantageous position for a counterattack. "I came after you because you delivered a presonal insult with that assassin, sending one who was almost skilled enough to kill a puppy if you bared its throat for him."

Thats when he saw her foot coming straight at his face. For a second he had to admire her flexibility, but then he was biusiness once more. He flung himself back and to the ground, and felt her foot clip his chin and making his teeth click together. He felt blood and he realized that she had just made him bite his tounge, and he hit the ground.

Thankfully he had been the one to throw himself back, otherwise there would be worse damage, and he wouldn't be able to counter attack.

He was still rocking backward, and that put him in position for an effective if undignified attack known as a donkey kick. He pulled his legs to his chest like well coiled springs, before unleashing a powerful kick to the space just below her sternum. Just below the spot where the ribs stopped and soft flesh began.

As he did he placed his hands on either side of his head and pushed, trying to flip to his feet.

Luki turned to face Dyanna fully after she spoke, grinning despite his suspicion that she might have been a wet blanket.
"It's fine." He replied as he waved away her caution with his hand, the action making him look a little lighter in the loafers than he was. "I used a local monkey, so it can tie back to someone other than me. And I'm keeping my distance."
The genie's grin shrank into a smirk after he spoke. Apparently, he was feeling very confident about his situation.

Dyanna shook her head and waved her hand in a circle. Dropping a fruit on the genie's head. She smiled and held back a laugh. "Be careful, or you'll lose Iris" She said with a smile, watching the antics. She giggled once to herself watching the man.

Luki's right eye snapped shut as the fruit collided with the top of his head, causing him to rub the spot it had struck.
"I know that." He said with a causal tone as he snapped the fingers of his left hand.
The monkey appeared on his shoulder and the genie reached up a hand to scratch the small primate's head. The guard had finally started to calm down, since the monkey hadn't returned to devil him a second time.

Dyanna had asked a worker of her name. Such a pretty name, for the cute girl. It suited her. Dyanna wasn't named after a flower. She shrugged at her thoughts, hearing his words. "She's a keeper" She said as if she was a bit jealous. "It is rare to get a master that's modest" She smiled watching the man calm down finally

Luki nodded when Dyanna spoke of Iris being a keeper, she was a pretty good master. Still, he thought she could still do more wishing. Modesty was an admirable quality, but only to a point.
"Yeah, but I'd like it better if she actually wished for things." The genie replied, snapping the fingers of his left hand to teleport the monkey back to its owner. "But instead she likes to talk...and hug...a lot."
Luki's expression when speaking of the touchy-feely nature of his master could be best described as perturbed. He looked at the ground for a few seconds before shrugging and looking back up at Dyanna.

Dyanna smiled then held back a laugh. "Aww, but I think she likes you" Her tone, obviously teasing. She smiled and glanced her emerald eyes at him. "Better then Usul" She said then sitting on the ground, near him.

Luki raised an eyebrow when Dyanna commented on how Iris liked him, her tone teasing. Still, he couldn't help that small jolt of shock at hearing the words, though he did manage to keep any outward reactions at bay. Happily, Dyanna quickly changed the subject and Luki jumped on the bandwagon.
"I take it this Usul fellow's your master." He said, leaning his back against the wall and crossing his arms.

Dyanna held back a laugh. "If he can qualify for one" She joked. She didn't hate the man, he just needed some manners. Let alone something to control his temper, so he doesn't lash out at random people. She shook her head, getting rid of the thoughts. "Never been so disrespected. Not even as a mortal" She said looking at some of the gardeners. She then looked towards the relaxing genie.
~She would have taken the blow to the gut without a problem if it wasn't for the wound inches from where his foot had landed. Her teeth clenched as she had the breath knocked out of her, but she came back with a side kick herself, aimed to prevent him from getting back up on his feet. If he was truly her son - and she knew for sure that he was - she wouldn't be able to hold him down any longer than a few seconds. Upon realizing this, she swung one of her swords artistically, bringing it down into his leg. "You would not have come after me yourself - you would not have risked your pretty little royal a** and came after me - if you did not see me as a threat. You could have hired someone, maybe even the same man who came after your brother, or perhaps, someone from your army!" She spat into his face, then removed the sword smoothly, hoping that the pain was enough to weaken him significantly.

But as she straightened up into her defensive stance, the pain in her lower abdomen seared, causing her to bend in surprise and new pain. But she had to keep going. She had to keep fighting. This b*****d will die before I fall, she promised herself. She was not going to give up now. ~

{ Sorry for the delayed post. ><

And aww... Now I feel sorry for Dyanna. D; }

"One of those, eh?" Luki replied when Dyanna spoke of the disrespect this Usul treated her with.
He'd had a few masters like that in his day, including one particularly seedy merchant who was probably still floating around somewhere.

Dyanna raised a brow and said. "yes" She smiled at him, shaking his head. She held a laugh. "I think he's distracted by the other in his life" She smiled speaking of Meryum.

Luki nodded after Dyanna spoke of her master being distracted by an "other." Well, that would make sense if she'd been disrespected so.
"Ah, I see." He replied. "At least it's better than having some seedy guy who wishes the most demanding and demeaning things from you."
Luki knew from experience that that was no fun, not in the least.

Dyanna smiled, holding back a laugh. She shook her head as she spoke. "Thankfully, I haven't had that happen." She looked back over at him. "I make it that way" She said then laid back on the grass, her arms underneath her head. "I drive them away for that reason." She felt no reason to to hide it from a genie, he'd understand.
