Luki wrapped his arm around Iris when she buried her head into his shoulder, apologizing for causing him so much trouble.
"It's not your fault." He replied. "It would have happened whether or not you were my master."
One of the reasons why the genie hadn't ever had a master that lasted for a long time was because he was such a magnet for trouble. He couldn't remember a single time he hadn't had some trouble or another come to him out of the blue.

Iris frowns, "Yes it is...Nothing seems to go right for me..." She keeps her face hidden against his shoulder. Closing her eyes, she relaxes against him. She was trying to rack her brain of how to help Luki out of the mess she started, but her head was beginning to hurt from trying to think too hard, getting herself all riled up.

Luki chuckled softly at Iris' comment, even though she had meant it to be serious.
"What a pair we make." He commented softly.
If trouble was drawn to him and things didn't tend to go well for Iris, it seemed like an odd match that would likely work. At least there wouldn't be too many surprises for the two.

Iris pulls back slightly to look up at him, tilting her head in confusion. But then she realizes what he meant and smiles gently. She never really thought about that much. She chuckles lightly and leans back against Luki, "Do you think...he'll recognize me? I mean...he saw me with you...If he realizes you changed your look. He may still suspect you if he sees me...Do you think that I need to change...?"

Luki blinked when Iris mentioned the fact that Agustus might still recognize her. He hadn't even thought of that or taken it into consideration. The genie had to admit that if the man did recognize her, she'd be the first one he pestered.
"He might recognize you." He replied. "He could suspect me if we're seen together, but not if we're apart."
The last statement was meant to stay in his head, but it had somehow found its way out of his mouth.

Iris looks down and away, sad at the last part of what Luki says. She doesn't want to be separate from Luki. He has become like family to her and she hasn't had anyone like that since her mother had passed away from her accident...She looks up to Luki, "What should we do?" If the man recognizes her, she'll be the link for the man to find Luki. But if she changes her appearance, it'll be the same as herself running away, causing suspicion and she'd still be the one the man would search for to catch a link to Luki.

Luki remained silent as he tried to think of an answer for Iris, a task harder than it seemed. He couldn't think of any way out of it besides separating from her, but it wasn't something he could do. Any way the genie looked at it, they'd be discovered eventually.
"I don't know." He replied honestly.

Iris sighs and nuzzles up to Luki, "I don't know what to do..." She reaches up, her hand grabbing hold of some of the fabric of his shirt, "You're my family..." Whatever needs to be done, she'll do it. But, she doesn't know if she could deal with being separated from him.

Luki sighed as Iris nuzzled up to him, his other arm wrapping around her and pulling her into a hug. He had to admit, he had some similar feelings.
"You're my family too." The genie said softly.
But perhaps it was something a little more for him.

Iris pulls away slightly, looking up at him, her cheeks blushing lightly, "You...feel I'm like family...?" She smiles gently, "I'm honored." Though, she also feels like it's something a little more...but was unsure how to describe it.

Luki smirked when Iris said she was honored to be considered his family, wishing she hadn't said it.
"You shouldn't be." He replied lightly. "I'm a terrible influence."
So it was most definitely a good thing that she wasn't a child, the genie would probably get her into too much trouble too early one in that case.

Iris chuckles lightly, "You're not a bad influence..." She hugs Luki close, "You only think you're a bad influence."

Luki smirked when Iris said he wasn't a bad influence, snuggling close to him after speaking. Oh, if only she knew the truth. He was known for being one of the more mischievous genies, even if she didn't know that. The genie tended to get into more trouble when he disliked a master, which was probably why Iris hadn't seen his other side.
"Okay." He replied.
If she wanted to believe that, he'd let her.

Iris leans against Luki as she thinks of what they're to do. She was almost afraid to even leave her room, afraid of what's going to happen. But, the more she thinks about it, how often did she really see him before? Today was the first day she has ever seen him. So how often will he bump into him again? If she's told to go to the marketplace, she can simply ask Luki to wish her trip done.

Luki let Iris lean against him as she seemed to become wrapped up in her thoughts once more. He let her think over whatever it was that she needed to, knowing that it would be best to let that happen. The genie kept himself from falling into the same slump, deciding that he could do that after he went back to his lamp.
