Welcome to Gaia! ::

((I know ^_^ He's all cute and fluffy once you get past his cold killer outside))
Meryem Salima Abdallah
"Genie of Seduction and Order."

Meryem again could not doubt the sincerity of his word. Altough she was a Genie - a being that possessed all the magic in the world - his seemingly ineffective gift made all the difference in the world. He was in the rightful position to protect her more than he could ever guess. As a Genie, she was one of the most desired beings of the world. Her lamp falling into the wrong hands could be disasterous, if she could not find a way to decieve her master before total destruction had occurred. She considered herself inconcievably lucky to have landed in this man's hands. She answered his present to her with a gaze as solemn as his voice - which, although frightening, led her to admire him greater than she already did.

"Well, she began in reply, her hands returning to their previous occupation; tracing across his skin. Her voice returned to her usual sultry whisper, and she was her seductive, luring self again. She wondered idly whether her touch had any affect on him at all. "As I have said before, there are endless things I desire to uncover about you. But, perhaps, the most prominent of all would be why you think you are the man you are know. Are you satisfied with what you have become?"

Luki Veles

Luki raised an eyebrow at the oddness of Iris' wish, a little surprised at it. What was odd was not the fact that she asked him to shrink his lamp, nor was it because she wanted to wear it as an earring. No, it was the extreme specificness with which she designated the wish that surprised the genie. Few humans caught on that quickly. Maybe it was a fluke.
"That's creative." Luki commented before snapping the fingers of his left hand.
A spark of orange magic no bigger than a dime in diameter began to swirl its way from his hand to the lamp, circling it like a slow and playful comet with a single misty tail. The lamp began to shrink in size, stopping only when it was just as tall as the bead Iris had designated. Well, that worked out well.

Iris' eyes widen in awe as she watched the beautiful lamp shrink down to the size of the bead. She smiles brightly and picks up the little lamp, setting it in front of her. She takes her earring from her ear and manipulates it so she replaced the bead with the lamp. Standing up, she hands it to him, smiling. "Would you do the honors, Luki?" She gives him a gentle smile, her big brown eyes looking up to him, filled with happiness. Such a simple pleasure over such a small thing.

Luki watched as Iris manipulated her earring so as to replace the bead with his lamp, doing so expertly. Well, it looked like he wouldn't have to be magically fixing everything for her. The genie took the lamp earring when it was offered him with a smile.
"But of course." Luki replied, threading the earring through the piercing in her ear.
He leaned back after doing so, taking a good look at Iris.

"Violet suits you." Luki said nonchalantly.
Once more with the tracing hand, and once more he closed his eyes to appreciate the feeling. He thought that he had been pampered before he had discovered those two lamps, but now he felt twice as good and had done around half as much work. He paused to look down at the genie in his arms, and began calculating exactly how much of that had been physically demanding enough to be considered work. Enough, leave it at that.

And finally she took him up on his offer, and he was about to answer when he realized that he had none. He closed his mouth before he could begin to look foolish, and let his brows furrow in thought. His fingers began to tap in a familiar rhythm, as they always did when he was deep in thought, which only seemed to make it harder to think now that they were resting not on a hard surface but a soft one.

He was satisfied with things as they are now, and he had been satisfied when he was working as an assassin, but was he satisfied as a Sultan? The answer might have been no, for the sole reason that the more power one has, the more they realize that their power is meaningless unless they controlled everything. Then I have a new goal, to control everything. I will not be content with making myself indispensable, I will need to control everyone heart and mind.

Later.

"I think that I was satisfied more by the process of becoming what I am, and by the things that I now have," he gave her a gentle squeeze, "then by what I actually am. As for the other I have no answer other than I was willing to do what was needed."

He really should get back to work right around now.... He would wait for her to bring that up though.

((Those words have been bouncing around in my head for the last two days. I had to use them somehow!))

Iris closes her eyes when he threads the earring through to hang from her ear as usual. Once there, she opens her eyes and smiles, looking up at him. When he comments on the color, she blushes lightly, "Thank you...Luki." She raises her hands and places them on her cheeks to hide the blush.

Luki smirked when Iris blushed at his comment, assuming she didn't get complimented all that much. He had meant it to some degree, though having a fondness for violet did make him a little biased in color schemes. But, she didn't need to know that.
"You're welcome." The genie replied, as if it wasn't a very big deal at all.
Well, there was one thing taken care of.

Dyanna woke up, flipping her hair back around her to sit on her back. Something was coming and for her master. She got up quickly. She waved her hand, the dark blue smoke escaping from her lamp and her appearing with her hand covering her eyes. "Master.....There is a problem" She infromed keeping her emeraldeyes covered. not wanting to see anything 'inappropriate'.

Iris smiles brightly, still looking up at him, "Can I get you anything? Food? Drink?" She, like her mother, was fond of entertaining guests. Though, since her mother's death, she hasn't entertained anyone. Now that she has Luki here, she feels she can be hospitable again. "Oh! I know!" She turns and heads off to the kitchen, stumbling over nothing. She reaches one of the drawers and pulls out something that is wrapped many times. Bringing it over to him, she smiles, "I've been saving this for a special occasion." She unwraps the item, revealing it to be a small bar of chocolate. Her mother had given it to her for her birthday before she had passed. Now that she has company, she feels the need to share it with him.

He sighed as the other genie appeared and pulled the covers over the two of them, much preferring that to actually getting up and putting on anymore clothing than he was already wearing. Apparently the world had decided he was being serious when he thought that he should get back to work. "You may open your eyes, and what is it that you wish to tell me of?" he asked out of curiousity.

Dyanna shook her head, keeping her emerald eyes covered. A smirk rising up her cheeks. "You're in danger, master" She reported, using her free hand to poof a chair up for her. She sat on it gingerly and crossed her legs. "There is an assassin within the palace walls. I suggest you be on your guard" She said, though smiling keeping her eyes covered. Especially after hearing the covers whoosh over the two.

Luki was again taken aback by Iris' behavior as she asked to get him something. Wasn't he supposed to be the one doing that? Before the genie could answer his master, she scurried off, retrieving something from a drawer that was heavily wrapped. He watched as Iris unwrapped the item, revealing it to be a bar of chocolate. Well, he hadn't had chocolate in quite awhile. Though, from what Luki knew of the area, chocolate wasn't very common.
"You sure?" He asked before waving away his own question. "Of course you are. If you ever want more chocolate, you can always wish some up."
