Iris smiles, liking that she was getting somewhere now, "Well? What kind of masters have you had? And what about your current master?" She gives him a big smile.

Luki leaned back in the air when Iris started pressing him for information, a faint smirk playing across his lips.
"Oh...well, the masters I've had have all been very different." He said, still keeping an air of mystery around it. "Different from the one I have now."
There were one or two in the past that had treated the genie well at first, but every one of them had slowly degraded due to some personal demon. Greed was the most common one.

Iris pouts, "Lukiiiiiiiiii....Stop being so vague!" She wasn't fond of being teased, but it was almost slightly fun when Luki was the one doing it. She tries to tickle him, "If you don't step up on the info, I'll tickle it out of you!" She playfully warns.

Luki broke off into a fit of giggles when Iris whined at him, unable and unwilling to stop it. He barely managed to dodge her hands when she attempted to tickle him and threatened him with it.
"Then ask the right kinds of questions." The genie said playfully.
If questions were specific enough, there would be no way for him to weasel his way around it.

Iris continues to try to tickle him, "Meanie! You're just teasing me!" She refuses to give up on her tickle assault, intending to get him back for all the aggravation he's giving her.

Luki managed to dodge Iris' hands a few more times before she got a few pokes in. He laughed before grabbing hold of her hands with his own.
"I'm not teasing this time." The genie replied with a chuckle.
He really wasn't, but he couldn't help it if she saw it that way.

Iris pouts when he catches her hands, "Then please tell me about your previous masters. What makes me so different from them?"

Luki smirked when Iris went about asking him the right questions. All it took was the right kind of inquiry to get information, kinda like making sure there were no loopholes to your wishes.
"Most of my previous masters didn't last very long." He replied. "They all fell to their own personal demons, greed taking most of them."
The genie paused, taking a moment to release his master's hands.
"Some started out just like you, having nothing but the best intentions." He continued. "But they too eventually ended up like the rest. The thing that makes you so different, is that it hasn't happened."
Luki blinked when he realized what he'd said.
"Not yet at least." He added.

Iris actually begins to tear up as she listens. "How sad...they all fell to their own demons...?" And now it could happen to her. She tears up more and sobs against Luki, "I don't want to fall to any demons!"

Luki sighed softly when Iris started crying against him. Perhaps he hadn't worded that in the best way.
'I'm not saying you will. Not for certain at least." The genie said, putting an arm around her. "But it's a possibility that I've seen happen far too many times. It's because I've seen it so much that I have a hard time believing it can't happen."
After all, almost every person had some sort of a personal demon. Greed, lust, gluttony. All the seven deadly sins could be considered personal demons.
