Luki blinked a few times when Iris nuzzled up to him without another word. So...she wasn't mad at him, even with his obvious mistake? The genie reluctantly wrapped his arms around his master, keeping his grip loose in case she didn't want that.
"I'm sorry." He whispered. "I'm really, really sorry."
And somehow, those words didn't seem to express his regret enough.

Rouge Rose

"Good day."She replied, and smiled."I think I have a few, let me check. And then there's a vendor down that street-",she pointed to one east of her shop,"-that sells more of them."

She heard the girl's question and said,"Oh, that's about ten coins." Rose then went to back of her shop, with Rete on her shoulder still eating the apple slice, and found a handfull of strawberries. She brought them back and handing them to the lady she said,"Don't worry about paying, these are on me."

Rose looked at the pair and said,"Anything for you, Your Majesty?" She said his title with respect, a little contempt, and a hint of a crush.

Iris shakes her head and looks up to him, "It's alright." She gives him a gentle smile, "I'm just glad you're alright."

A weak smile fluttered across Luki's face when Iris said that it was okay, knowing just how much it could not have been. Though a botch like that wouldn't harm a genie, it could kill the human targeted by the magic. He was lucky that nothing had happened to Iris.
"No, it's not alright." Luki said softly. "I can't accidentally kill myself with my own magic, but I can accidentally kill a human."
After all, he could have displaced her in the center of the ocean or the arctic.

Iris frowns, "You didn't...We're both alright..." She holds Luki closer, closing her eyes, "It's in the past." Though, she still feels she's part to blame somehow...

Luki pulled Iris into a tighter embrace after she spoke, finding an odd kind of comfort in her words. He still regretted what had happened, but if she wasn't going to dwell on it, maybe he shouldn't either. Still, the genie had a great amount of guilt concerning it.
"Okay." He said softly, leaning his head on her shoulder.

Iris blushes lightly, but smiles gently, as she feels Luki hold her closer. After a little while, she pulls away from Luki and stretches, "Mmmmm...." She then sighs. It then hits her! She forgot all about the Sultan! This brings a frown to her lips, "I've been a horrible servant...I...should go check on the Sultan..."

"Because this isn't the real world. What you would be doing is throwing around limitless energy inside an already broken mind. So don't use anything, unless you are under attack, and even then keep in contained," his subconscious explained quickly. "And you can get hurt in here, so be careful. You'll probably still have the injury if you were to leave."

He skidded to a stop, and whirled on his subconscious angrily. He had dared bring her into here where she might be hurt or killed? Before he could say anything the subconscious spoke again, "And the reason I brought you here is because he will fight harder and better while you are watching. He has to beat them by himself before you can drive them out. Otherwise when they leave he will be broken by his own little mind."

Luki felt a little disappointed when Iris pulled away so soon, or at least it felt like it had been too soon to him.
"Be careful." He said. "Something didn't seem right about that man when I met him."
But as to what was wrong, the genie wasn't sure. He really wasn't the best at reading people he didn't know.

The Pince simply smiled as the shopkeeper retrived strawberries. Just when he was about to ask about a very well made gold chain the girl seemed to loose her venom into the act of spitting out his title.

Damian blinked for a moment and turned to the girl, "Please do call me Damian, its so much less pretentious, I was actualy wondering about a gold chain, perhaps with a jewel to hang upon it." He pointed at the item trying to gracefully move on.

Rose nodded to adknowledge his request."That's only 20 coins, Damian." She said, as she got it out for him.
Rose layed it on the counter, and Rete chitted something, and tried to grab for the apple in her hand.

"Not the whole thing at once for you, Rete." She replied. Rose cut another silce off for him and handed it to him. As Rete chewed on the new apple slice, she returned her attention to the customers.

"I don't know if you've heard the rumors about there being silk in the market, but-" She said. Rose then went to the back of the store, and brought out the roll of silk."-even if you haven't,-"She continued as she set it down."Here it is. The only roll I've ever been able to aquire."

Dyanna smiled to the girl, making three more coins appear in her hand. She gently set down the 12 coins. "Keep it" She said taking a strawberry from the bowl. She took the bangle she had in her hand and placed it on the wrist of the strawberry holding hand. It went so well with her outfit. "Thank you, sweetie." She smiled at Rete's actions. She giggled a bit into her now free hand. "he's so cute. What's his name?" She said to her letting her emerald eyes serach the girl's face. She was very pretty. She could tell she liked the Prince as well, but kept her mouth shut on the subject. She lowered her hand towards the ground making the ocelot cub appear there. She bent her knees to pick it up. "This is Anthos" She said tickling under his chin.

"What?!" Meryem retorted, in reaction to the subconcious's warning. "I am a ******** genie," she hissed at him. "Why the hell do I have to be careful? Nothing can harm me if I do not wish it so! Especially things that I have created myself." Her ruby eyes glowed brighter than her skin as she glared at her new personal peeve.

Meryem found herself stopping when the sultan did, glancing first at him then at his clone, confused. She stood as immobile in her beauty as ever, her black dress revealing one leg and hiding the other as she stared incredulously at the clone as he spoke. "You mean he was able to fight them all along? What kept this from happening?" she demanded, gesturing almost wildly with her arms. This was making less sense by the second. "And how will he fight better if I am there? What do you mean by that?" she added in a lower, more cautious tone as she stared suspiciously at Usul's subconscious, who apparently knew everything there was to know of their situation.

Luki raised an eyebrow at Iris' reaction to his statement. He wondered just how much she had been paying attention when he and the sultan met. The man did try to attack him.
"I don't know." The genie said with a shrug. "But he did try to attack me when we first met. Most rulers aren't that quick to act on violence."
Or at least the ones Luki had met.
