Alia looked at Lyon as he spoke of a neutral village and a good person to leave her with. She looked down and nodded her head. It was obvious they would have to part ways one for her safety...and two for his own. Chaos was after here, and if he stayed around not only would her life be in danger but his as well. Not to mention he was betraying his kind for even helping her. She paused as he sighed and looked at the ground. "If you will forgive me...I have cause you so much trouble. I am terribly sorry for doing such...but from here I am sure I can find my way. It would be best to part here since after all...your General has given orders to capture me....I will be fine, but I fear in worry that if I do not part ways with you at this moment...then you will be in danger as well."

The mark on Alia's forehead broke the shadow cloak from around her showing her true appearance. Backing up from him she smiled softly. "Forgive me." she whispered softly before holding her hand up to him, a wave of holy energy quickly would rush through the man, causing little harm but it would make him weak. Looking at Lyon with sad eyes the same wings as before would appear before wrapping around her, disappearing with no trace let behind...no trace but a ring of ice like flowers that slowly melted.

Ita had taken notice that the General had aknowledged her, before the man from before had preoccupied him and pushed her aside. Taking it that the man wouldn't be back for a while the Lynx slowly streched out and walked up towards a table with parchments spread across it. Leaping up gracefully she landed next to the ink well narrowly avoiding hitting it.
Moving to a safer pearch she looked over the list of names, she was somewhere on here towards to bottom and it did her little good but the shapeshifter noticed her commanders name and with careful presicion she dipped a single claw in the ink drawing a line through the man's name.
The Cat noticed fire appearing in the room and leaping back she transformed falling into the chair behind her and the ink on her nail splattered on the toe of her boot. Ita's ears turned red, she could get into trouble for touching offical documents, and she had just been caught doing so.

The flames snaked down the General's body and down to the ground. A charred circle was left beneath Visil's feet as he sank into his chair. The Lynx had taken on a human form and was sitting in a chair across from it's commander. The ink on her boot was clear evidence of what the General had seen through the flames as he appeared. No regard for the chain of command? Visil sighed and motioned toward the shifter with an outstretched hand, the tips of his fingers barely reaching past the edge of his cloak. "I was told that an officer would be waiting to give their report, and yet you are not what I expected." Visil was familiar with all of the captains in this camp, perhaps not personally but to an extent.

"There are no shifters among the ranks of my captains, and yet you are here to give your report, something I would expect from.....a captain." Visil stood and removed his blade, it wouldn't do to seem completely over barring. "So please enlighten me."

There is more to this one than meets the eye....

hahaha......

With a quick growl she stood fire and ice pulsing in her golden eyes giving a quick salute she moved away from the desk. "They asked for highest in command from my battalion. My Commander is laying in the infirmary, if you wish to speak to him I can bring his corpse but fair warning a frozen jaw can't move."
Ita locked her jaw and raised an eyebrow at the man, she had little respect for any man because all of them thought her to be weak. She was trained in stealh and combat, but her healing talents all ways put her back in Search missions after the battle and stuck in the infirmary while the war waged.
"Our ranks where attacked by Chaos while resting, no one saw or felt them coming. I am sorry to say that all soldiers of status where lost, you have a Human medic, a Lycan grunt, and Shapeshifting Recovery agent left of that battalion. Our commander was retrieved I did you the courtesy of crossing his name off your list, Sir."
The slight curl of her upper lip on the last word showed off a barred fang, Ita Lyon was not one to be messed with when she was annoyed.

Visil stood and moved over to the table that held the scroll of soldiers. There among the captain list was the man in question, a thin black line through his name. Visil sneered and touched a finger to the name, it burnned red and vanished. "Weak."

As Visil turnned to face the shifter the fires he usually kept at bay licked the soles of his boot, this girl was testing him. Her powers were obvious and therefore Visil could not write her off as a useless grunt. And so much aggression, exactly what the General needed if they were to win this war.

"Tell me, why do you serve in my army?"

our army......

Reguarding him with a quirked eyebrow as he refered to it as 'his army', his fire grew closer before with a flick of her wrist and a cold look she snuffed it out. "I serve the Dark God, not you, get your facts straight. As for why I have my own reasons none of which you need to know at this point, or do I have some reason to tell you that I do not know of?"
Smirking slightly she went to circle around the Demon. "You are much to scrawny to pass my parents requirements, and with that hood you could never have a good face, you are hiding it from anyones view including your own." She stood behind him one claw daring to touch his hood, and with razor sharp movement went to cut it in half.
Her words where giving him more clues than anything that she could say directly would. Ita had joined this army to get away from her family and the bloodline, she wanted power or death something that would make all potential suitors her parents selected afraid or her or inallegable.

Visil's hand caught the shifters just before she reached his hood. A smirk crossed his face and he let flames flit across his skin grazing the shifters fingers. "You are a soldier." The general released her hand but continued to stare at this woman. "You may have your thoughts about who you serve and those are your own. But you would do well to keep one thought at the front of your mind."

Visil extended his hand and gazed at the flames working their way across his skin. "I serve the Dark God that much is certain. And regardless of how 'scrawny' you may think I am I was given command over this army....over its army." The General lifted his hands to his hood as if to remove it. "And my face is of no concern to you...or your parents." Visil laughed and lowered his hands.

What does she hope to accomplish, I wonder...

"That being said you would do well to take orders from your commanding officer without these insignificant arguments. I can see that you are troubled. And in all honesty I am as well; perhaps we can help one another." A smile played across the General's face.

a little help never hurt.....

"In your name we pray, Amen." Guy said loud enough for his fellow comrade to hear. He did not look up but raised his right hand and dipped his finger into a clear liquid and then made a cross on his forhead. He then grabbed his katana with his left hand and slowly stood up. He placed it in his sash on his left side with the blade in the sheath facing up.
Guy then turned to his comrade with a small smile on his face.
"Because religion is always a good thing to have. Even if its just a simple belief. You follew it and remain faithful to it, and it will guide you on wards down your path," He responded to his question. "And I atone for my sins. That and its a place for comfort for me. That said, I've finally gotten a mission. I joined yesterday and I get a mission. Yay."
The last bit he said sarcasticly.

((If anyone wants to role play with me, just come to the church.))

James laughed madly "In time you will grow to love it just as I do. Your 'morals' will vanish, and will be replaced with a love of discord and suffering." He thought for a moment about the comment about all needing a religion, and grinned maliciously "I do agree with you that all need a core belief to follow. Mine is that as long as there is pain to be caused, I shall cause it." James shrugged the conversation off, as he did not feel like agitating a person he might wind up working with soon "But if this building and the thoughts it brings you comfort you, it is not my business what you do with your time, so long as you do your job"

Ita growled deeply looking at her hand and with a few words healed the minor burns he had caused, the fact he had given a blow back to her blow had been harsh nothing the cat couldn't take but still. It bothered her, and she really just wanted to give a blast of ice to the man and walk off but it would do nothing but cause trouble.
"How can I be of service Sir? And you may have been given command over me but you have yet to gain my respect. Any idiot can gain power, it takes an expert to know how to wield it and rally their troops."
Deciding to play coy Ita transformed again letting her body wind around his legs a gaze up at him like a good little pet would, much like many idiots did to their General. You suck up to get what you want, it ha nothing to do with power.

"Heh, no wounder the general put me under your command. We get along so well already." Guy chuckled a bit. He turned slowly and faced the doors of the church. It was a small church with a bell tower. It began to ring throughout the forest.
"The tole of the bell," He muttered.
"Well looks like we might as well as start on the hit." He told James resting his left hand and arm on the hilt and sheath of his katana.

((I'l be back on in a few.))

"Power?" Visil asked the smile fading from his lips. "I am not some brain dead pawn that does what he is told and knows nothing of plans!" The fire around his feet flared into existence, pushing the Cat away as it began to burn its way through the desk and papers. The list of names however was unscathed.

"You may think me some petty magician that wormed his way up the ranks to where I am now, but I assure you my pet I have power. Power far greater than I care to show to every insignificant soldier that decides they are good enough to challenge my authority!"

The General's voice was dripping with malice and anger, the fire at his feet had moved beyond the desk and threatened to engulf the tent itself. The hood around Visil's head had fallen away to reveal his features. They were young looking, perhaps 24 or 25 in human years, long black hair that fell across his eyes and a cunning smile. But his eyes were black, nothing else. I could finish her now....

we will finish her now.....

Visil forced the thought down. The fires died away and the General pulled his hood back over his head. "But that is not all that I am, I have plans for this war and perhaps you may find yourself apart of them."

The thought of more death brought James' head back into reality, and his mind cleared from it's usual sporadic nature. "Yes, let's go get the wretch" he said, pulling out his daggers from their sheaths at his side. James marveled at the silver gleam that shined off of the blade of his weapon before quickly moving out of the church. He recalled the General's instructions, and the mental picture of the Dark Assassin that they were out to kill. In his opinion they should be taking out the healers first to help increase the number of wounded and dead, but if the General said it had to be done, James would not question it, as the General was the kind of man even a sadist like himself would not actively try to anger.

Even if you show a blind man a rainbow, all he'll see is the darkness.

Ita had kept herself as a Lynx jumping away from the man and keeping the fire at bay around her and inside the tent with cooling ice and snow. As the flames slowly died she understood that this man could and would match her in her games, and if she pushed too hard Kill her in her sleep.
Taking careful steps back towards him she rubbed his leg mewling slightly and causing ice to form around his boots before transforming and looking at him in the eyes. Gold searching to find the black one hidden in the hood. "I am not 'insignificant' no matter what you place me as, how many people do you know that have this ability naturally? What ever plans you have finding another like me will be hard, my family owes no alliances to either God. Many choose to stay out of the war and slink in at the end."
Temptation to pull down his hood sinked into her bones, her first teasing assumption that he hid his face because it was horrid had been incorrect. It was striking, many people would remember him with only one look. Ita enojyed people watching and seeing striking features allways required a second look, but to test fate and disobey the obvious order of 'no touching' would be a death wish at this point and time.
