A lone woman sat cross-legged beneath a lone tree on the Gold Shores. Her eyes focused in on the bright sapphire waves as they crashed onto the shore. It never occured to her that she was not alone, for the animals in the close vincinity kept a close eye on her. The short whispy strands of her dark brown hair whipped across her face. Honestly, she thought it was a nuesance, but alas, there was nothing she could do about it. The sun colored the sky many different colors. She would often wonder why the sun made these colors, even though her education has explained it many times over.
The woman crawled back on her feet. She had no place to stay. A common home for her was the guest bedroom of an old couple's cabin. Many times she would ask herself why she hadn't settled down yet. The answer was simple, why should she settle down when there is the whole world to see? Though, she has already seen much of the world she already wanted to see. Her head shifted toward a path leading somewhere in the forest. It looked new to her, although she didn't take the time to look around at the forest when she sat on the sandy shores.
"I wonder where that little trail leads to," Her words rolled off her tongue. She was always ready for adventure. A few birds fluttered away after she spoke. The tempo of her walk was fairly quick for how relaxed she was, it didn't take long for her to get to about the middle of the trail. A fork in the trail halted her, she usually didn't come upon these. She took a few steps toward each side trying to peer down each trail, hoping to see what was down it. The sound of leaves being moved around almost made her holler. A chipmunk scurried down the trail heading to the east.
"Is this some sort of sign?" Her teeth were kept shut tightly as she muttered these words. It probably was her lucky day. She chose the east trail to head down. The scenery became more and more beautiful as she walked on. Her walking speed increasing little by little until she was full-on running. Her dark camo green shorts were snagged on a few branches as she ran, while her shirt already had holes from moths.
A large gate appeared a little down the trail. This wasn't on her map, not even the beach was on her map. The gates seemed to be open. That's a great idea. Leave the gates to your private home or whatever it is open. Then it occured to her. Maybe these were sort sort of ruins. It wouldn't make sense for everything looked fairly new. She entered the mysterous place. When she saw how new it looked her jaw dropped, For a moment she thought she was trespassing. Another person was inside this place, a man. Her eyes carefully made its way across the room to him. If he asks my name remember to give a fake one. She made her way toward a stool, and sat herself down on it.
ooc: oh god, too much writing. I'll post again tomorrow.
