She resisted scrunching up her nose. I can tell. There's dog-scent all over you, she thought. "I'm a one-cat girl. Pandora's the social butterfly of the two of us." Pandora meowed and rubbed her head against Johnson's hand.

Eilena snuggled into his side. "Much."

Maxas smiled "we need to pick a room"

For a while she said nothing and there was an awkward silence. Pandora paid no mind and curled up in Johnson's lap, purring softly.

"my room" Maxas said in a soft tone....

Johnson smiled "so, where do you live?"

"Alright-- so long as I can stash my blood there," Eilena said, nuzzling her head into his neck.

"Hm? Oh. I kind of share that mansion at the end of town. It's me and a couple other people. We all kind of prefer the nighttime... I like it because it's quieter, but they like it for their own reasons." She was being careful with what she said.
