"There are a few demons trying to cross to the other universe to it. They are waiting for the window to be finished opening by the wizard that is on the other side" Misery told lord loss, and soon they got to the place, and just in time. The window had been opened. They crossed, to find themselves on what looked like a mountain where some teen humans had seemed to be partying, though that 'partying' had been ruined when it got crashed by the demons. Some had quickly got their hands on the humans and started the slaughter. Though Misery didnt need to do that. He shapeshifted into a shadow, travelling around the place, being unnoticed, feeling on the pain and misery of the people that where around him.

[[Upon exiting the portal, Loss killed one of the demons that was feasting on some poor soul's leg. He grabbed the male, who was still alive, and made him watch as the rest of his friends were slaughtered. Loss could feel the male's anguish like a wave of bliss. Once he finished feeding off of it, Loss threw him to the rest of the demons to kill.]]

After just a couple of minutes, all the humans were dead, some of the demons had started to head back through the window so that they would not die when the magic disapeared from the air. Misery didnt have to worry about that. At least, not as long as he was close to Lord Loss. He then noticed that one human was still alive and trying to hide. Misery smirked, slowly making his way to the human, he shapshifted from a shadow into a human girl, by looking into a human's eyes he could always tell who was the person's most important thing in the world. For this boy, it was a girl, his girlfriend. "Ah! Help me...please help me..." He said mockingly. The girl was dead. He had seen a demon kill her, and now, he was using his shapeshifting power to make fun of the boy and at the same time, make him feel miserable. There were tears rolling down the boy's eyes as he tried to back away from Misery, who chuckled and shook his head. "you're not going anywhere..." Misery said and used magic to freeze the boy where he was.

[[Loss had his eyes closed, but heard his servant talking to a human. Loss opened his eyes and drifted over to misery. "What have you here, Misery? Some poor soul?" He drifted over to the frozen human and looked him from toe to the tip of his head. "Well, it seems we have a number of choices. I'll list three. One, we kill him. Two, we torture him mentally and physically, then kill him. Or three, we let him live and go tell other humans about what happened. I doubt they will believe him and they will most likely ignore their 'help' when they have him sent away to an asylum. Once there, we can constantly feed off of his misery. Now, what do you think?" Loss peered into the human's eyes. His next question was sent to the human. His voice seemed a little sad over what he did, even though he definitely was not. "What do you think we should do with you, you pathetic creature?"]]

"P-Please dont kill me..." The human begged. Misery laughed a little and moved closer to the human, his fingers running through the boy's hair. "Now, now...why would you say that hun? I wouldn't kill you...I love you..." Misery liked to mock the fact that humans fell in love. It made them such weak creatures. the boy began to cry more when Misery began to do that, but then ended up slapping him. Misery glared at the boy, punching him as well, though his punch was much stronger and send the human flying back and hitting a tree. "You stupid human! Dont hit my pretty face!" Misery shouted glaring at the human.

School was just ending, the bell had gone a few minutes ago. She noticed that Grubbs was heading home quietly, by himself like he normally did. The boy did have alot of friends but after school he always seemed to walk home alone and barely ever invited anyone to his place. "Hey! Grubbs!" Reni shouted after the boy and run towards him. Reni giggled softly and gave the other a small wave as she caught up to him. "Hey...You heading home? I live close to you ya know...we should start walking home together." She told him with a small smile.

Grubbs was walking home from school by himself like he always did. He heard someone yell his name in baack of him and he turned around to find his friend, Reni. "Hey, Reni." Grubbs greeted her with a smile, which was hard to make after his experience in Slawter. "Yah. I'm going home. Sure, we should walk home together."

Reni gave a small nod and put her hand in the boy's hand, she had heard from some of their friends that Grubbs had a crush on her before, she wasnt sure though, but she did know that she liked him quite a bit. "So, why do you always go home so quick by yourself? The others always stay around chatting for a bit about school and sports and stuff" She told him looking up into his eyes. "I really wish you did stay longer...haha...I like when we all hang out together..."

Misery sighed when the demon killed the man so quickly, it would have been much funner to torture him as long as they could, at the mention of chess he sighed. "You're obssesed" He said softly but then slowly nodded. "Okay" He told the demon, since he knew that if he refused, the demon master would probably torture him until he begged for death.

Grubbs blushed as Reni grabbed his hand. "Umm..... The reason I don't stay here after school is because I got alot to do at the Mansion. It's a gaint house and I have chore's to do. If I don't pull my weight, Dervish says he'll kick me out on the street. I know he's kidding, but," Grubbs shrugged, "I still need to clean." Grubbs laughed alittle a what he said, looking forward, going with the lie.

"Oh..." Reni looked down to the ground, Grubbs didnt want to spend time with her, she could tell that and that there was something that he wasnt telling her. Something big, but there was nothing she could do about it. "Okay...well, I'll see you tommorow I guess..." She told him and slowly took her hand away from his giving him a small smile before she began to walk away from him, not wanting to be around someone who obviously didnt want her around.
