Xiong looked away, and began focusing a bit on his meal. He had mixed emotions about Namie returning, something was up. He knew why his father brought Teresa over, he wanted to keep an eye on her, a job most likely going to be passed down to him. But why Namie? why now?

Teresa smiled kindly, "I am sure, but I'd rather make my own way." she said softly as she took another sip of tea. SHe looked at Namie and chuckled, "You look find." she said in a kind voice as she looked at Xiong and her suspiscion grew.

Okay good was getting worried." Namie laughed and began eating her food. "Delicious.." She smiled around her fork and continued to eat happily like a child.

Qhi looked at Teresa with a small pout. "Can you please, please, please, please stay. Just for tonite, I promise it will be fun." She said, giving her best "puppy dog" eyes.

Teresa looked at Qhi and chuckled as she couldn't say no, "Alright, but just for tonight." she said smiling as she chuckled some more. She had a feeling she would regret it, but he couldn't reist those cute eyes. She soon started to eat and smiled at them, hiding her suspicion.

Namie looked at Qhi and shook her head. Xuan had them trained good. She laughed lightly at her own inside joke and watched Xiong as she ate her food, she was still curious as to why he was staring. Namie sighed and decided to ask him when dinner's over. She was gonna stay, Namie wasn't gonna leave her new friend alone in Xuan's house who knows what would happen.

Xuan smiled and sipped his tea. Xiong continued eating. His father was a clever man, he knew that Qhi would make him play with her and her new friend.

"Well my love, I believe you have outdone yourself tonight, thank you." He said as servants began to clear the table. "Now Yong, Yein let's go to the courtyard. I want to see you spar."

"Teresa, Xiong, let's go play!" Qui said, grabbing both of their sleeves and yanking.

Namie stood up from the table and followed Qhi, Teresa, and Xiong to where ever they where going. "This'll be fun to watch." Namie laughed

Qhi dressed herself up in a robe with a fake crown and held a wooden stick. "Let's play queen." she said. "You, peasant why haven't you paid your taxes yet?" She said to Xiong.

Xiong played along. "Bandits came and stole my crops."

"That's not an excuse, your punishment is to carry me on your shoulders until bedtime." Qhi said giggling as Xiong picked her up.

Namie laughed at Qhi and Xiong. "Wow." She turned to Teresa and smiled at her trying to lighten her weary mood.
