Namie glared and hopped down from the building she was sitting on landing right between Teresa and Xuan. "What are you doing?"

"I was merely inviting her to my estate. Would you care to join us, my wife would love to see you again. She hasn't seen you in ages. I'm sure Xiong (the son he tried to get her engaged to) might appreciate your presance as well." Xuan said.

Namie rose a fine eyebrow at him. She knew he was lieing, he wanted to keep an eye on Teresa but she decided that she would play along. "Alright, I'll come over for a visit."

"Excellent, come this way." He said, motioning for them to go in front of him.

Namie followed Xuan to his house. She wasn't gonna lie she did enjpy going to his house when she was younger. She got to play and be areal kid. And his wife's cooking was the best. She smiled at the thought of food.

Teresa just looked at him uncertaintly then walked with Namie in front of him as she looked at the guards.

As they approached the estate, the two guards at the door straightened up and saluted. "Welcome home sir." they said in unison.

He dismissed the two city guards and led the girls into his house. The hardwood floors creaking loudly with each step. The walls were decorated with many things from a time long passed. Weapons hung from various places on the wall, some ceremonial, some practical, and others that looked like thay had been through countless battles. There where also portraits of several prominent Long ancestors, some of which had incense burners in front of them.

Standing in the main room was a woman who looked to be about 42, a man of about 20, a girl and boy who looked to be about 12-13, and a girl who was about 7.

"PAPA!" The little girl shouted as she ran up to the man.

"Qhi!" Xuan shouted, picking up the little girl and putting her on his shoulder.

"Welcome back father. I see you weren't lying when you said you would bring guests." The man said.

"Indeed Xiong, I take it you already know Namie, and this is. . . I'm sorry I didn't get your name." He said looking at Teresa.

Namie smiled at Qhi, last time she saw her she was 5, she grew. Turning and looking around the house. It still looked the same, she smiled at the fond memories here.

Teresa nodded at him, "I'm Teresa." she said, deciding it was better to tell as much of the truth as she could. She looked at the weapons and had to struggle not to show distaste in them. She hated how the people here could admire weapons. It caused to much blood shed for her taste.

Xuan put down the child and kissed his wife on the cheek. "I'm famished after that journey, is supper ready?"

His wife nodded. "Yes, come, sit down and eat." She said beconing them to the dining room.

Xiong eyed the two newcomers with some suspicion. He wanted to reach for his sword, but thought better of it.

Teresa watched Xiong then slowly made her way to the dining hall, not taking her eyes off of him. She knew that she would have to be very careful around him. She then looked at Xuan, "So tell me, why did you bring me here?" she asked.

Namie gave Xiong a challenging look before following Xuan's wife int the dining hall. She took a seat and listened to Teresa talk to Xuan very curious as to what was going on.

"I thought you might like a place to sleep. Inns are nice, but they can be a bit drafty this time of year. Besides we haven't had good company in quite a while." Xuan said, as his wife poured some tea and gave it to Teresa.

Teresa nodded slowly as she took a sip of the tea, "That is a nice gesture, but I am getting a job soon and I'll raise enough money to get a place of my own. I'm fine at the Inn since I won't be there for too long." she said smiling at him. She didn't trust him at all so she didn't want to take the chance on being around him most of the day.

Namie smirked around her tea 'Smart girl' she thought. She looked up at Xiong who kept looking at her. "What.." She touched her face. "Dude is there something on my face?" She wa getting paranoid she didn't like being stared at or drawing attention to herself. It always caused problems.
