She stared at his face seeing how sad he looked now and that he looked like he was gonna cry. She took a step closer to him reaching her hand out "Hey" she said softly she very gently touched his hand "It's all right, yours is probably pretty easy to hide, and it can't be that bad to know everything right?" she asked with a gentle grin that came to her lips.

He looked at he and gently sighed. "Its not quite as mediocre as it sounds...knowing everything...what people have done...what people have seen...who would murder me if given the knowledge of what I am...knowing that your nature abilities could get you excerpted by the APD...knowing what the govern.." he said stopping himself before finishing his sentence. He looked at her and sighed with great resentment toward himself, yet yielded by the feelings of contentment that someone kind hearted was actually like him, that he wasn't alone. He looked at her attempting to continue the subject but change it. "Yours aren't too easy to hide either..." he said looking down, then back at her with his chrome shaded eyes.

She looked puzzled for a minute "What are you saying?" she asked "That it's almost obvious of what I have that I'm different?" she questioned him again. "And it's not my fault all right? If I get too angry or too upset or too emotional-" she said but stopped herself because she was getting worked up she sighed out closing her eyes and relaxing "You have no idea of how hard it is for me to control it and to not have anyone see or know" she whispered.

Aden looked at her as she began to get slightly emotional. "Its not obvious to anyone but me.." he said as he looked at her. "That's just because of my mutation...but its not like it matters...soon...its just not gonna matter..." he said looking down. "Its nothing to be ashamed of..,the way that nature bids to you...is a beautiful thing...but even so...soon...its not going to matter.." he said looking down now almost shaking. "I've said to much...I'm sorry.." he continued to say as he looked into her eyes, hoping to help her see that he wasn't discriminating against her.

"Lea...your not different...your special...your unique." He said gazing at her now with a small smile.

"Wait" she said holding a hand up looking right at him with a curious face "What do you mean it won't matter? What won't matter?" she asked she was so confused at this point and it didn't hurt that he was talking in riddles right now and confusing her even more than she already was. "Don't get me wrong I'm not mad that I have this power but it does get frustrating to have to hide it because we're different and we will be banned if they found out. Is that why you're saying it won't matter will they find out about us?" she asked.

Aden stared at her with great discontentment. "No...I say it wont matter because..."

!!DING!!

Aden looked around as the sound of the tardy bell rang. His sentence was cut off as he looked around confused for a moment then back at her. "Sorry...were gonna have to continue this another time..." he said in a slight hurry. "Standing around talking in the halls will only gather unnecessary suspicion....meet me at Dian's dinner around nine tonight.." he said giving a comforting smile. Aden quickly turned, and began attempting to walk away.

When she heard the ding she looked up and around but then looked back at Aden and nodded "All right" she said. She saw him walk away holding her books she turned the other way and went to her home ec class that was her next class. When she walked inside there was so many things on her mind it was overwhelming. The main one was that she was not alone in the school that had a mutation or a power and she wondered more if there was others that had a problem too. She sat down in her seat her partner sitting next to her which surprisingly she got along with because she didn't ask too many questions about Lea and she was easy to talk to, she never questioned Lea's mood or notice anything bizarre about her either.

Aden began walking at a somewhat normal pace toward his next class. It was a Mathematics class. He quickly took his seat, pondering about the fact that he truly wasn't alone in the school, similar to her thoughts. He sat, completing his work within minutes, using his always 'knowing' mutation to find all the answers. Aden looked out the window, slightly sighed, then returned to his novel, to which he pulled from his book bag.

If you don't know where your going...any road will take you there.

Sky walked silently into the home economics class that was next on her schedule. She arrived slightly late. but moderately on time. She wore extremely baggy pants, a long baggy shirt over a sweater, and a small beanie perched over her head, pushing her hair down over her eyes, and having headphones placed atop them. She; looking down; went and took her seat. It was a seat without a partner, and just happened to be directly next to Lea's seat but at another table. Sky remained silent, sitting by herself, and began getting her utensils ready, remaining completely reserved.

Hearing everyone shuffle to their seats she looked at them all for a minute before seeing the teacher stand up which that meant quiet. Lea looked at her as she started class saying they were going to make any kind of cake they wanted to today. One thing about Lea that actually made her smile was food. She loved it and loved trying new things especially since she burns a lot when she accidently uses her mutation and since she didn't have lunch yet she was starving. Her partner Lea suspected liked her more because she could actually cook and they always got an A on whatever they made.

Since Lea was a kid she used to always help her mother in the kitchen and her mother used to be old fashion kind of mom who homecooked every single meal they had so Lea got the hang of it when she got older.

Sky remained silent, even after the teacher had finished speaking. She solemnly gazed around at the ingredients then began silently making a concoction that seemed somewhat unorthodox to anyone who saw her. She continued combining random measurements or random ingredients, until she nearly threw the pot into the stove. She smiled slightly as she turned the light on, sat on a stool in front of the oven, and watched the stove with a slightly tilt head, an extremely strange and awkward looking motion, as she sat, somewhat resembling a feline yet unnoticeable unless actually looking for it. She continued staring, completely silent, and soon completely motionless as it cooked.

Lea decided that they should make carrot cake. The girl agreed but she couldn't really argue with Lea since she was the one doing most of the work. Lea gave her simple stuff like stirring and greasing the pan but Lea cracked the eggs and sliced the carrots to put in them. She moved fast and her eyes were wide like she was having fun which she was. Her slight animal reflexes made her faster at cutting it all basically she looked like a professional cook. When they were done they set it in the oven and sat there quietly waiting making the smallest of talk.

Sky looked at the stove next to hers as two girls were talking. She remained silent, not paying attention to anything around her, just listing to her music with a solemn silent dowel. Sky sat silent, listing to her music, her small tail began pressing against her back pants, extremely unnoticeable, unless someone different was viewing her.
