Aden took to his feet soon after the bell rang and continued walking, his mind filled with a chronic sharp pain as was daily for his "mutation". He continued along his path, reaching the school doors, and taking quickly to the homeroom classroom. Sighing in discontent he took a quick seat in the back right of the classroom, having only the teacher scribbling notes on the board in the classroom. He remained silent, unsheathed his book, and continued reading his novel.

Lea walked right into the school down the hall where she went to her locker to get the things she needed. When she heard the bell ring she slammed her locker closed and headed to her homeroom. Going inside the room she scanned it quickly like she always did before she took a seat farthest away fom the window. Even though she was drawn to nature it was also to be closer to her because if she got distracted for a second the nature would be drawn to her. The trees would lean towards the window and the flowers and grasss would grow just enough to see through the window. Animals were too small so they climbed the trees to look in also so sitting by windows were out of the question.

Aden continued to read his novel as the students flooded in the class little by little, taking seats. He noticed Lea enter upon a number of others, yet Lea stood out, his mind grasped her toward him, somehow telling him that she was different like he was. Aden quickly placed his novel down and looked toward Lea in somewhat of a confused daze as he was looking for a physical mutation but non were apparent. He continued staring her down, not realizing that he was actually staring.

Lea sat in class staring mainly at the board listening to the same old announcements that were going on. She heard a giggle from a girl and couldn't help but look over to see why she was seeing a boy was flirting with her by tickling her. Looking back more at the other students her eyes went to one who was actually staring at her. 'Aden' she thought he was in a couple of her classes so she didn't know him but just now thinking he didn't really talk to anyone either. Was he someone like her who had to keep to himself or maybe he just always kept to himself like some people did. Still a puzzled look came to her face because he looked confused also but he was looking at her. A sudden snap from the teacher hitting his ruler of the desk made her jump and look back up but she saw him trying to hush to girl and guy still she glanced back at Aden for a second before looking back forward 'Why is he staring at me?' she thought to herself.

Aden quickly cut his glance off, still puzzled at the fact that someone like him actually existed. "I wonder...what her mutagen is..." He thought to himself as he stared down at his desk. He quickly finished his work as if child's play then went back to searching for an apparent differentiation from the girl. He saw none and stopped himself from his evident gaze.

Soon after the bell rang to switch classes, causing Aden to jump from his seat quickly, and begin to make his way out of the class attempting to remain unnoticed.

Lea heard the bell ring and she stood up when she saw Aden pass her she looked at him for a second and then her mind began to wonder again 'Maybe he has a power too' she thought to herself. Of course she would never go up and ask him if he had a special gift. First off he would deny it if he actually did and then if he didn't it, it would screw her over because she had one and suspicion would arise and then she would definetly get caught if he told someone and word got out then she would be thrown into the old world. A sigh escaped her lips as she walked away and went to her locker again opening it to get her book she needed before closing it and heading to her first class which was math.

Aden continued walking along the hallways, passing directly by Lea, sending a sharp signal to his brain confirming his suspicion, as the sharp signal blazed through his ears, throwing him off balance. He hit the floor directly next to the lockers hard, having his possessions thrown from his grasp, as he hit the floor with an evident thud.

Lea was alerted suddenly when she heard a loud thud. Her attention turned towards a different direction where others were looking also. All walking by him as she saw Aden had fallen on the ground. Seeing no one going to help him she walked over quickly and kneeled down " That was quite a fall" she said to him as she set her books down looking right at him. "Are you all right?" she asked gazing down at his books and papers that had fallen out of his hands and picking them up for him.

Aden gazed up in a squinting gaze as she spoke to him. Quickly he opened his eyes and gazed directly into hers, distinctly not replying to any of her questions, only asking. "Your different...aren't you?" he said in a monotone under his breath, gazing at her with his wide chrome eyes.

Her whole body froze and her eyes widened at first shocked with what he said to her. She quickly composed her face and body though even though in her mind she was thinking 'Oh god how does he know?' She looked back at him with a curious face "What do you mean?" she asked trying to play it cool like she had no idea what he was talking about. She picked more of his things up places them in a neat pile.

He continued staring at her with a great diligents. "You've...been effected by...the mutagen.." he said staring is chrome eyes directly into hers. His voice remained in a monetary monotone as he continued gazing at her awaiting a reply.

Her first thought when she heard him say that is panic but her face remained sort of calm as she looked around the hallway seeing everyone was gone. Lea stood up and looked down at him "How?" she asked "How did you know?" she questioned him with much confusion and still caution also. She was nervous out of what he might do but in his eyes it showed that he knew and there was no lieing to him about it.

Aden glanced at her for a moment even after she had spoken then replied in a shameful monotone. "Because...I am the same way." he said staring in her eyes as his soon moved to the floor as if in a great deal of shame. He remained silent after he uttered his words, with his heart beating in an eradicate manner.

Her arms crossed over her chest when he spoke telling her he had mutation also. Her head was done after he said that to her and she too a heavy breath in and out as her heart pounded because of how nervous she was. Finally she looked back up at him "So....how did you find out about me?" she asked. 'Cause I know I didn't tell anyone' she thought. "What happened to you?" she paused for a second shaking her head "I mean what did you get?"

Aden stared at her for a moment then replied. "I just know everything...that's my mutation..." he said looking at the floor signing slightly then gazing back up. "It happened in what was known as new york city...the first citation of the mutagen.. and it caused me to just....know...know everything without any logical reasoning behind it.." he said in a low voice gazing at her almost in tears.
