~Ryan Cross~

Ryan had began to hum a tune to himself, in the morning the bar wasn't to busy usually just the regular day to day people that knew all to well Cross was not a man to be messed with when hes resting in his booth waiting on his drink. Thou Ryan was a regular as well this had became his second home, as well as his base of operations for his jobs.

The sounds of foot steps walking over to him caused Ryan to smirk at the scent coming to him"Hear you are Ryan one rum on the rocks with one straw berry sundae" Ryans eyes opened and glanced to the man that brought him food"Thanks old man" he said calmly watching the man walk away. Ryan smiled then took a spoon full of his ice cream and ate it while he waited to see if he got work today.
Maxwell scanned the bar. "hmmm...there he is." He walked over to the infamous Ryan Cross and slid the booth across from the known hired killer without an invitation, a risky move indeed. "I've got a little...problem I need dealt with, and I hear you're the man for the job." Maxwell smiled, but it was void of feeling. "You in?"

Ryan had heard the foot steps thou his eyes were closed and he was eatting the icecream he knew the foot steps were too heavy for a female so he knew better , when the male sat down he dident do nothing it was common for him to have guests come with bussiness offers. With out thinking he answered."Who said you could sit there?" he slowly opened his mis matched eyes and in that instant he moved his hand with quick speed throwing his knife next to the mans head into the booth.

"Whats it pay?" he said calmly as he resumed eatting his ice cream, the few others in the bar sorta nudged seats over away from the two. Ryan was in the mood for work but he hated when people were rude and sat down without asking thou this normally happened."Also what is this job?" he asked between bites.
Maxwell glanced at the knife embedded in the wall next to his head, though he made no comment about it; he was used to brutish people throwing weapons at him on a daily basis. "It pays a lot." He wrote an eight-figure number down on a piece of paper and slid it over to Cross. "And I just need you to do one tiny little thing. Locate a girl and bring her to me- alive, and in one piece." he added the last part after a second glance at the knife jutting out from the wall.

Ryan sat there eatting he paied no mind to the man because Ryan was in control of the area when he had thrown the knife he had cut his hand as he threw it and it already healed shut but the blood on the knife remained.Ryan moved his free hand and looked at the 8 figured number and crumpled it up."You realize that my abilities are more for hit missions besides if she gives me lip I cant promise I wont crush every bone in her body." Ryan looked at his ice cream he had finally finished it.

"And you should know if she some how has a better offer for her life our contract is a null and void but im sure you remember that" Ryan was like most hitmen he was in it for the money after all you need money to live in this world."And that probably why you made this number rather high because usally they dont have much cash on the" he smirked abit."So tell me about my target?"

Ryan now lifted the rum drink to his lips and took a sip.

Maxwell slid a picture of the girl over to Cross. "Her Name is Raziah. She is nineteen, and attends the local college. She lives at home with her parents and a younger sister. Her address is on the back of the photo."
Max leaned back and crossed his arms. "I need to make it very clear to you that she needs to be brought in alive, or my superiors will be very, very upset. Trust me when I say the power and clout my superiors have makes your little 'blood work' look like child's play."
Maxwell slid out of the booth and stood. "And on that note, I take my leave." He turned, walked away, and quickly disappeared.

Ryan smirked at the mans comments and slowly stood up taking the picture in his hand then looked it over shes cute wonder what they want her for he shrugged and put the picture in his coat and began to walk out the bar he wouldent waste time sitting there drinking. He dident mind doing junk missions like this since it paied well. Ryan walked down the streets and was going by memory of the town to find the females house.
Zia sat at the table with her family, moving the food around on her plate with her fork. "Mom, dad...was I adopted?"
Her parents looked up from their plates with surprised expressions on their faces. "Where'd you hear that from?" her father demanded.
Zia's sister looked confused. "What makes you think you are?"
Zia shrugged. "I just want to know if I am."
Her parents sat silently for a moment. "Well, Raziah...you are adopted," her father said.
"Oh. Well. Ok."
"It's not that we didn't want to tell you..it's just that we thought it was unnecessary. I mean, your father and I love you as if you were our very own, so does it matter if you're adopted or not?"
Zia smiled. "No, mom. It doesn't matter at all."

Ryan had found the house rather easily, rather then barg in he smirked abit as he glanced through the window then walked to the front door and knocked on the door. Sure he could pose as a student, a new neighbor or something but he was hoping that he would just be lucky to get her to come to the door if it wasent her he'd just kill them all except the target. Sure Ryan enjoyed killing but he liked a fight as well thou he had dent found a good one for a long while.

Zia pushed back her chair and froze. Something in the back of her head was screaming at her. She looked at her parents and paled. " Mom, dad, take Meena and go into the basement. Lock the door and don't come out."
Her parents began to argue but she cut them off.
"Just go and do as I say."
Her parents saw something in her, something that made them stop arguing and obey.
Zia waited until they hid before she went to the door. She opened it and faced Cross.
"Can I help you?"

When she came to the door he turned slightly and lifted his hand and motioned her to fallow."Come with me unless you want your family to die." He glanced back over at her his crimson eye locking on to her. He seemed serious then again if she were to know Ryan personally he always gave a warning before he'd start any fight. Glancing away now he slowly walked his hands retreating to his pockets of his coat.

Zia glanced around, hoping to get the attention of one of the chosen assigned to protect her, but no such luck. She followed behind the strange man, knowing this wouldn't end well. "What do you want?"

Ryan dident slow his pace but he made sure she was near him."Your just a pay check that im cashing in" he said calmly as he closed his eyes."It was kind of sweet that you told your family to hide in the basement im sure they phone the cops but Im betting they are pretty busy right now" he smirked abit to himself remembering all the bodies he had pinned to tomb stones just because they were looking for him.

"And stop looking around for help even if you scream ill silence who ever comes"his voice held a kind of coldness only a real demon would have but yet this demon looked like a man. It was no wonder why he dident have close friends or any at that.
Zia followed behind him. "Paycheck? Who's behind the paycheck?" She fought the urge to turn and run. "And why me?" she glanced around again, nervous and afraid.

Adam stepped out of the shadows and heald his dagger to the man's throat. He was wearing a plain black hoodie and plain black pants. The pain in his back told him something was wrong, and an old woman told him where. "Oh really, seeing as how I was able to sneak up on you so easily, I highly doubt that you will be able to silence me, make a move and I'll kill you." He said, his voice equally as cold as this man's.
