Welcome to Gaia! ::

Jaq

Jaq only smiled serenely as her cup was returned to her. A quick tousle of her hair left every spike to fall perfectly into place and the tall teen took a quick sip. "Ah, must there be a motive? I could have simply walked over here to prevent you from making a faux pas that would bring unwanted attention from the faculty out of the goodness of my heart." She held onto her sincere expression for exactly five seconds before letting out a gruff, gutteral laugh of amusement. Her shoulders shook with the motion and she wiped a tear from her eye. "Good goddesses, who am I kidding. Actually, my purpose was to shield innocent eyes, look to be a proper student for daring to reprimand guardians, weed out the curious and self-righteous little ones which I will seduce and then forget entirely. Not that you needed to know."

That killer smile was absolutely charming and she chuckled once more in amusement of her statement. " I would have tittered myself to tears if one of you thought me seriously capable of good intentions."

Leena nodded to Karel's response, completely aware (and looking forward to, of course) the fact that she'd pay for good behavior later. She definitely looked forward to it. Very, very much so.

The more Jac talked to them, the more amused Leena became. Something about this girl reminded her very much of herself. Yet she couldn't quite put her finger- Ah, yes, there it was. The idea of smoldering some poor, innocent girl with affection, then not even being able to remember her name by morning. That was it. She hadn't met a potential she found any interest in, in years, yet here one stood in the flesh (which Leena could only image was absolutely delicious beneath all that clothing.)

"I do believe I've just grown fond of this potential, Karel." she purred, her eyes once more at their half closed state. "Very fond indeed."

Sooner or later, however, she was going to have to break away and pursue Malwyn. It was her task for the night, after all, and she couldn't blow it on some extremely appealing potential.

"A complete and total disregard for any other human being." Karel mused, then smiled, punching Leanne in the arm gently. "Yup, certainly sounds like your kind of girl. Now all we need is princess being a godsend in bed and you'll be set."

Jacqueline did seem the type to dupe poor little girls. Not that Karelineo minded. Something about youth, and herself doing something similar...

it was familiar, but she didn't know. The conditioning did play with her brain after all.

"I would say you were cruel if I didn't think people so naive didn't deserve reality giving them a b***h slap."

Jaq

With a brief incline of her cup and a long swallow Jaq finished her drink and inclined her head to the two. "Fair enough. There's something absolutely delicious near the punch-bowl and my cup is conveniently empty." Her eyes devoured a petite blonde near the beverages and a wolfish grin crossed her face. "My what a spread... I think I'll have to compliment the caterers."

Grey eyes turned to Leena and darkened slightly with intent even as she began to move away. "Rest assured I've had the naivety slapped from me. Not the only thing I've had slapped either. For the record, I'm known as Jaq." She had a feeling the more amused of the two might just seek her out at some point.

If such occurred, she intended to do as she had with every other woman. And do it well.

"We must have her around more often." Leena hummed, turning her attention fully back to Karel. her body shifted a bit and she laid a hand to her hip. Fun was great, but it was wasting time. This caused Leena to frown just slightly. "I do believe the last time I saw Carmineo, she was leaving with a Spark. Finding her shouldn't be hard. Especially if you're planning to accompany me." She reached a hand out and ran a finger up under Karelineo's chin before turning and heading for the exit. Once again her steps were swayed, one foot at a time, and practically demanding to be followed.

Getting into the hallway, it didn't take Leena long to head towards the dorms. Occasionally she'd peer into a room, looking for the face she was hunting with determination. Finally, she found what she was looking for. With a soft hum, she knocked gently on the door frame, her tone warm and inviting.

"Hello, ladies..." Despite the greeting, it was obvious who her eyes were on, "I hate to interrupt, Malwyn, but I hear things are fairly rocky for you right now. Truth be told, I'm having a bit of a time myself. I thought maybe if you needed someone to talk to, someone who could relate to your situation would be the best set of ears..."

Freya Ahlberg

"Thank you sweetie," Freya stepped up to Zaira to kiss her lover gently on the forehead for her efforts. Poor Zaira was overworked these days, but she generally did it without complaint because she was protecting her new family. Freya felt a little guilty for it but she wasn't in the position to make any demands. "Let's go have some steak. It'll make everything feel all better, right?"

She could just hack into the database later.

"Come on honies, we're going!" Chloe was big enough to follow along by holding her hand, but Leanne had a tendency to fall behind. Already the mothers were developing a kind of system to deal with that, scooping her up and carrying her until it was time to put her down again. At the point of her falling behind again, another would pick her up. Leanne was young though, and terribly precious.

Freya lead them down, letting Chloe and Leanne press the button. She was taking them to the courtyard first, very intent on picking up her harrowed student.

Dallas Van Laar

"You knew since the beginning, Brieanna..." Dallas murmured tiredly. "I just wasn't about to help you realize the real truth." And then her gentle roommate nearly busted her fist on the bedpost, and with an upset frown she grabbed the injured fist between her palms. "Like I've known since the beginning... About what happened with that summon." She was the same age as Brieanna, and made an appearance in the same year that she had. Dallas was standing in that very classroom when things went awry.

"I don't blame you for what happened... And Relena doesn't either. She honestly cares for you- just give her a chance. Things have been hectic since the attack."

Dallas followed Brie into the bathroom silently, dullen brown eyes staring at her back. "Take the bath with me." She suggested, softly. "We both need it. Its been a long day."

Lindsey McNeil

"Thanks, Ali... And yeah, it's actually my turn to go enjoy the festivities. The other nurse just got in a few minutes before you did." But she couldn't just let any doctor take such an important case. It had to be her, even if it meant she spent less time at the party."How about it, Ali? Would you like to be my date for half of the evening?"

A big part of her expected Ali to turn her down immediately, but it never hurt to ask. She may have just seen something horrible but it was worth taking the risk.

☯ Camilla Everette ☯

"I doubt that anyone would want to walk in." She joked, leaning in for another of deep kiss. Caught up in the moment, the pair tangled up into each other unaware where they were going. Their tumble back had Camilla worried for a moment, but landing on soft bedding told her they were on Ray's bed thankfully. Gazing down at her, Camilla felt her pair's fingers glide over her body, the soft touch made her tingle; Her back sprouted goosebumps, her ears rang, her world a little brighter in the dim light. Ray called for her and she responded, "Ray."

Cupping her darling's cheek, she dipped down to her love and brushed her lips across her's, the warmth of Ray's sigh soothing and exciting her. Her lips trailed down her neck, taking a moment to pass over the burn on her shoulder. Backtracking to the bend of her pair's neck, she nibbled lightly, coaxing a moan from those lips she loved to kiss. Hiking up Ray's shirt, she took a moment to pull it over the other's head, quickly returning to continue her love, searching for her hands, lacing their fingers together once found.

"Yeah," the seer replied humbly. At least her nose wasn't gushing like earlier, though she would make it, just to get a little more coddling herself. Laying with her lovers was becoming a rare chance for her, but the time spent with them was more precious than anything.

When it came to her turn to bring little Leanne up to the front, Zaira whisked the child up into her chest and stroked her hair, a finger slipping into one of the curls and twisting it before it sprung back. She wondered is she accidentally smothered the child when she would pick her up, then the tiny thing would turn her head to get more comfortable. The moment felt like forever, but a heat would come over her when she thought herself a mother. It was worth the blood, sweat, and tears she put into her job to protect the city.

Placing the girl on her feet before the elevator call button, she was allowed to press it while her sister pressed the floor they were going to. Once the door opened, Freya started off with the elder child, "Looking for our wandering child, dear? Jelena's pocketbook will finally be getting some real work done."

"You make a good point," he gave a nod, not hat his companion could see it, "that's why I feel like people should reach out more often. Someone has to take initiative to help others. Sometimes all it takes is a pat on the back, a hug, or even a smile to make someone feel comforted. It can bring someone from the bottom of Maslow's pyramid to near, if not the top. It's environmental, securing, intimate, confidence building, and potentially way to give inspiration. I've seen it happen without realizing it, and I've figured that people need others in their lives, period, " Jonas let out a sigh, closing his tiring eyes, wondering if Vesper's world was light or darkness

Jelena Taurus

So Kaynen was coming with them.

It would be a pleasant thing to see the girl again... well, depending on how Jelena chose to look at it. She didn't begrudge the girl anything though. It was her own fault for being such pathetically easy prey in the first place. She was to blame, and she was actively trying to fix that, though so far her efforts were unappreciated by the others. Well, Jelena wasn't going to deny that she was a little bit (and only a little bit) paranoid. So sue her, that certainly was not the spell caster's fault.

"Zaira, you work yourself far too hard." She was careful never to make her words sound like a proposition, or a piece of advice. She was always half expecting one of them to turn around and tell her off about how she kept things to herself. Totally unwanted. "And we don't see you nearly enough." Now that was toeing the very line she made for herself. One of them could easily turn around and tell her that Jelena herself never relaxed as much as she should. She should just keep her mouth shut on these things.

The trip to the courtyard was silent for the most part. Well, on Jelena's part anyways. She didn't have much to say so she just stuck to saying nothing, and when she got to hold Chloe's hand, she just sent the girl a smile, at a loss as to what else she was suppose to do.

She did tell them she wasn't good at this whole mothering thing.

They came to a stop then, and her dark eyes began looking around for Kaynen. Not that she was expecting that she would see the girl right away, just that... she didn't want anymore rotten surprises.

Relena Saint Mantis

Raleigh Lynnette Der Malian

Usually, Raleigh would not go for teetering on the edge of control, or outright surrendering it to someone else like this. She never allowed it before, unless she was forced to. Now, however, she didn't seem to mind that Camilla was setting the pace.

The kiss ended too soon, though Ray couldn't complain when Camilla's lips trailed down her neck. She did freeze, however, when Camilla laid attention on the burn scars on her right shoulder. Her body stiffened on reflex. Raleigh bit down on her lip anxiously. Her scars, and her "condition" were two things Ray was almost obsessively self conscious about.

There was no time to dwell, however, when Camilla returned to the junction where neck met shoulder. A soft moan escaped her lips, and fingers tangled in the red curtain of hair that had fallen about her. She only let go to sit up and shift her arms to make it easier for Camilla to discard her shirt. Her hands were taken over then, and she frowned at that. Still sitting up, she gave Camilla's hands a slight squeeze as she leaned in for another kiss, this time, lightly taking Camilla's lower lip between her teeth.

Karelineo Kuscherii

Karelineo smirked knowingly at Leena. "But of course? Would I ever knowingly deny the opportunity to cause chaos at your side?" She watched Leena's hips sway as she left, and then turned to Jaq who was just about to go herself.

"Go have fun princess. I'm going to go have mine." With that, she stood tall from the wall, dwarfing the girl by a few inches and smiled. "We're going to help a lover's quarrel. Should be fun. Karelineo by the way, princess. Later."

With that, she began following Leena's lead, her gliding steps and long legs making her disappear in record time.

Malwyn Carmineo

Malwyn was about to say her goodbyes to Emilie then when the girl reassured her she was fine. That was when she spotted trouble.

"Oh no." She grumbled under her breath, then looked up to see Leena. She took a deep breath and placed on a game face as she stared at the beau-- annoying woman. Thinking like that was losing before the battle begun.

"Can I help you Miss Corbik?" She was purposely formal, as if that would keep a wedge between the two of them. She frowned at the first degree look the woman gave her. She knew that look. It was more than Leena just undressing her with her eyes, something Malwyn could deal with to a degree. No, this was the look hunters gave when they spotted their prey...

s**t.... why her, why now?

"I..." she hated that seductive voice. Hated. Hated. "Terresha and I did encounter a little trouble." She wasn't going to lie. "War is stressful you know, and it does that to the people who are out there fighting, rather than at home ******** the brains out of some random girl." Malwyn's smile almost took the sting out of her words.

"You know, not all of us are lucky enough to shirk our responsibilities. Some of us do have more dignity than to be screwing with the Chairwoman of the council just to get our way."
Shannon Hallard

Shannon were rather content at staying out of the conversation, just listening and watching as everyone interacted. Every time her eyes landed on Torrin though and that girl that was perched on her shoulder, she really couldn’t help but smile. She wondered if Torrin would kill her if she teased the tall potential about this later. It was just not easy to ignore how comfortable Torrin looked with Miu and how the girl clung to her. It was cute too!

All of a sudden, Shannon could fell that tell tale tingling on her lower back. Oh crap… Did it have to come now? She had managed to find a pattern with her back aches. Every time her lower back tingled, it would be followed by a good amount of pain that ran up and down her spine. It could last for a few seconds, a few minutes or a few hours. She braced herself, clenching her hands together on her lap and then keeping her back as straight as possible.

Why now? Shannon mentally screamed as she fought to keep her internal battle off her expression. “Well then, shall we all see Kamiko’s family off?” The young seer offered, hoping that it won’t seem like she’s rushing.

Jules Allen

Now that she knew that there’s nowhere else that Relena had to go, Jules would have to reveal whatever plan she had crafted for their impromptu date. “I’m thinking we could go to the to the Port Island, have dinner, talk and maybe I could get a kiss if everything went well.” This was the best choice among the list of available places that Jules had listed. It was perfect as the was no dress code, they didn’t need a reservation and they had private booths. The service was good too not to mention the food was just delicious. Their wine selection though…could use a little help.

“And then we could come back here and enjoy a few glasses of wine from the south.” Anything after that, Jules hadn’t really thought of it. She was more concerned of making this date go as smooth as it could go considering what little time she had to put it together. When she gets the time, she’ll be planning a dinner for a two and with the romantic in her coming out –who would have thought?- most likely under the night sky.

Considering this was a spur of the moment thing that just occurred... that was a pretty decently prepared plan. Relena tried to hide the mild surprise from her face, but it wasn't suppressed as well when she spoke.

"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you've been planning to have a moment like this for a long time..." Relena shook her head and smiled. "You think fairly well on your feet Jules." She complimented, then, with a teasing smirk added, "We shall see about that kiss though. But it sounds like we'll be having a great evening."

Definitely. It had been way too long since she's done something like this.

Why hadn't she seen that coming? It was a little known fact that Lindsey had once upon a time been sweet on Ali. She knew this, though hadn't ever really said anything about it for good reason. So why had she left herself wide open for that sort of invitation? Her recent development for craving physical contact didn't apply here (well, maybe it did...just a little.) She couldn't do that to Lindsey, there was just no way. Yet, here she stood, debating her answer rather then just up and refusing.

"Well, I kind of just left, really..." she mumbled, lifting a hand to rub the back of her neck. That wasn't really an answer, and to be honest, Ali was still hungry. Her gaze lifted back to the other woman's face where she observed for a moment. Then, with a sigh and a half smile, she shrugged. "Sure, what the hell?"

-Vesper Diboriem-

For a moment, Vesper seemed to simply stare at Jonas, smile still in place as she did so. Of course, she couldn't really see him, but that didn't matter. She knew he was sitting there next to her, and that was the point. "You and I seem to think a lot alike, Jonas." she informed him, seeming pleased with this very fact. "Most people in our conditions get along because they think they've found someone else to share pity with. They form a collective of people like themselves because they understand each other better then anyone else understands them." her smile broadened just slightly, "However, I like to reach out to people. I've actually been accused of being rather clingy. The point being, I don't like to push people away just because they don't understand. I'd rather help them become aware of what it is I can see rather then what I can't. And you, you're the kind of person who just didn't give up what he's best because of an accident."

Vesper shrugged here, "To me, that makes us quite the awesome pair, if I do say so myself."

-Leena Corbik-

Stubborn and aware. That was alright with Leena. It would make breaking Malwyn in that much more satisfying. Still, she had to play along, make it appear like she was only interested in making her feel better. It was a well known fact that Leena always appeared as if she were hunting for something or someone, its just the way she was. It was misleading and caused hesitation when the ravenette needed it- which is exactly why it had become a practiced art.

"Shirk my duties?" she questioned, eyes widening just slightly, "I'm afraid you're mistaken, miss Carmineo." she sighed and glanced down the hall, shaking her head just slightly, "While you were all out fighting for all of our lives, I was here tending to now parentless children." her expression became almost challenging when she turned her eyes back on Malwyn. Not a single soul could ever deny Leena's passion for small children. When she wasn't smoldering in someone else's embrace, she was usually found with however many small children she could handle at a time. She loved kids, and she had actually really been helping to manage and take care of them during the attack. "So your remarks are both unnecessary and false."

She paused. This wasn't going to help things- at least, she didn't think they would. She didn't see Malwyn as the type to get off on an argument. "Despite what you may think of me, Carmineo, I honestly came to lend an ear. Lovers quarrels are not an easy thing to deal with alone, and as no one else seems to want to step up to the plate, I thought I would offer my time while I still have some to spare."

Leave it to that woman to have some clever, damn excuse. Malwyn scowled, her navy eyes narrowing at Leena. What was her game?

"I apologize for being so crass, but I cannot help the fact that your reputation is a little less than... unfavorable, Miss Corbik." Still trying to keep that wall up.

Lover's quarrels aren't easy to deal with...

Damn if she knew. These past two weeks had been hell, but Malwyn had been in emotional storms before. What made hers with Terresha any different?

"And where were you when my family disowned me? Or better yet, last week when I went to visit them and was not only treated like a perfect stranger, but found everything -- everything about me is gone. No pictures. None of my drawings -- they got rid of my violin and piano -- everything that ever pertained to me, gone, like I never existed."

That came... quite a bit more emotional than she had anticipated. Malwyn wasn't going to cave now and admit it.

"I am not a naive little deer, you stupid wolf. You weren't there because there was nothing for you to gain then." If she thought about it, Terry wasn't there then, even though she had made the blond aware of the visit. Was that because the blond saw no future at the time? Or was she looking for something too?

********. Leena was already screwing with her mind and she hardly even said a word yet.

"What's between me and my partner is just that. Between us. Not you."

And there it was, everything Leena needed to get exactly what she wanted. An outburst like that could only mean one thing, that Malwyn's dear little Terresha hadn't been there for her either. Pity, that.

"I hadn't been there before because you and your partner seemed so close. Getting in the way of something like that isn't exactly my style." she shrugged her shoulders, "Of course, now you'll pop off with something about my ruining many a relationship, but you have to ask yourself, dear, did I really? Or were they women in similar situations to the one you're in right now? Unsure of their partner's intentions, not able to read them anymore...Not coming to the rescue as they should when something dire partakes in their lives." she sighed and stepped closer to the other woman, not afraid of being struck if that so happened to be the response. "It couldn't have been good for you, Malwyn...Returning home after discovering your erased existence, confiding in your lover only to find her unresponsive to the matter, indifferent to your suffering."

Leena's eyes softened in degrees, looking almost vulnerable all of a sudden, "If I were your partner, Malwyn, I would have been there for you. Hell, had I known or heard of any of this at all, I'd have been here before now, especially since your partner isn't and wasn't." her head tipped a bit and she gave the other woman a once over, not predatory or even trying to undress her with her eyes, but a real, curious once over before speaking again, her tone much softer, "How can she possibly fully appreciate a woman like you, and not be there for you in your most desperate hour or need?"

-Vesper Diboriem-

-Miryo Ries-

The celebration had kicked off like any other party. Loud, bustling, and full of touchy-feely women, though most of them kept it discreet and concealed at all costs. After all, wouldn't do them any good to have little Spark eyes watching them at such a young age, now would it? These very reasons were why Miryo was on the side lines, stood just left of the exit. It wasn't that she didn't like a good party, she just didn't feel like this was something to be celebrating, not yet at least. They had lost a lot of people, and such little time given to mourn, then throwing a party? It just wasn't long enough for her. Not that she held it against anyone who was having a good time. It was good that most of them could let go so quickly. That made her happy for them.

Mir had wanted to be here to see the awards ceremony, but she hadn't expected to stay for the party at all. Yet here she was, stood stationary at the door, watching the sea of women and their families carry on. At least watching them could bring a faint smile to her lips. Still, there wasn't a whole lot more of this she could take before she'd have to retire for the night. Maybe a couple more songs and another glass of punch...Just maybe.
Kayn

Her eyes fell on the group suddenly wandering the grounds below, obviously searching. Kayn leaned back on the branch she was sitting, falling backwards but holding herself up by her hooked knees. The teen's head, neck and shoulders were not visible and she spoke in a calm, soft voice. "I'm up here if it's me you're looking for. I'll be down in a second."

With that Kayn hoisted herself back onto the branch and stood, backflipping from her perch in a way that put her in the perfect position to drop through the branches without hitting one. She landed with a hardly a rustling of the dry grass at her feet. The limber teen stood straight and brushed herself off then began to walk towards the group.

Even now, she would not meet eyes with her caretakers. It was her upmost shame and guilt that made it impossible for her to do so. Though she would not meet the eyes of the adults a soft smile curled her lips as she moved to the small girls accompanying them. Chloe was quickly picked up and tossed high into the air, the child squealing with delight as Kayn caught her then proceeded to hold her upside down by her ankle. She giggled furiously and flailed in Kayn's grasp, knowing the older girl would never drop her no matter what.

Then it was Leanne's turn for affection. The brunette teen held Chloe securely as she lightly tickled Leanne. "Hey gorgeous. what's up?" Leanne tried to burrow into Zaira to avoid the tickling and emerged giggling when the onslaught ended. With a proud grin she held out her tiny hands. "Mittens!" Kayn let out a soft laugh and inspected them, hmming thoughtfully. "What kind of mittens?" Leanne's tiny eyes got round and she pulled them close, looking intently at them for a moment before holding them out again. "Pink."

The older girl smiled and kissed Leanne's nose before pulling Chloe up and placing her on her shoulders. "So they are." Kayn looked to the blonde accompanying them and gave her a soft smile of greeting. "You look lovely today Wendy."

As for the rest, the greeting was implied. She just didn't have as much ease speaking with them since they knew the details of her... exploits at the military base.

Remy

The tall guardian's eyes roamed over her wife's figure almost hungrily as she moved. With profound grace the blonde grasped her lover's hand and spun her quickly before pulling her flush to her body. "Of course mon ami, anything for you." Her lips found their way to Iliya's ear and she gently kissed the skin slightly beneath it which she knew was a sweet spot.

One hand slid to grasp the smaller woman's hip and the other around her waist. When Iliya moved like that, Remy liked to feel it more than see it.

Zakuro

Freddy's loud squeal of delight let everyone know the wrestling match was entirely welcome. Although she was getting trashed since there was two against one. She didn't really care, so long as there was rough-housing to be had!

Zakuro smiled at her aunt and moved forward to kiss her cheek before taking the bag from Kamiko's grasp. "Kanin na auntie, I would have had to do more shopping otherwise." Her eyes fell on her family and she smiled happily, never having believed she would have such joy in her life so soon. She looked over to Torrin and blushed faintly. The girl fit into the picture so well, holding Miu as tenderly as she was and being so good with Freddy... Zakuro shook her head to loosen such thoughts from it.

The sulking four year old in her arms recieved and soft nudge and Zakuro spoke softly to her, "Ara Kavi, do not be rude to Torrin-san, she is helping mama and she deserves respect." The sulky girl huffed softly then nodded against Zakuro's neck.

"Auntie, it would not do to miss your transportation. Do you need any assistance?" Zakuro asked, as helpful as ever, even with her own bundles of energy to deal with.

"Kaynen." She said in greeting. Jelena gave the girl a weary grin, but after that, she didn't know what else to say. She tried to pretend that the subconscious need to stay alert wasn't so blisteringly present."It's good to see you." It was no lie, even if her mind flashed back to those crimson, sightless eyes. That hollow person, with the blood of her father's corpse on her, as the body laid by his feet. Jelena noticeably shivered, but most would think it was from the cold.

"We're..." she seemed a little distracted, and held up her hand for a second as she gave off a yawn, "We're going for dinner, honey, and we'd like you to come, yes?"

Jelena's gaze left very little room for argument, as she reached for Chloe's hand again, and gave her another one of those strained smiles. Smiling was something she rarely did naturally these days.

"I am paying," she pointed out, "because, you know, apparently I own shares in the bank." She didn't, but she grinned. "I'll get you any sweet you want." Because that was probably all she was going to have, and because Kaynen should of found out by now from class (and her overfilled classroom desk) that she had a penchant for sweet things. Sugar, not filling, but definitely gave you a boost when you weren't in a good mood. Least, it worked for Jelena on most occasions. Perhaps it would be the same now.

Leena, regrettably did have a point. Terry wasn't there, for both times, though she played it like it wasn't a big deal. After all, Malwyn thought it was only fair considering her whole reason for starting their relationship was to exert her own will.

She could have just as easily chosen Leena and dump her after. When one thought of it like that, what kept her? Other than being in her comfort zone with Terresha, providing she wasn't drunk or beating up on herself.... which seemed to be more prevalent issues these days.

Who was Malwyn kidding? She didn't want to even admit that the beginnings of her relationship with Terresha was built on pretenses and lies. It made her sick to think of how low she sank just to get even. It made her sicker to know she dragged such a beautiful human being into that hell with her.

Malwyn knew Leena was watching, and she took a deep breath, her vision swimming before her. That was when she raised her hand and punched -- not slapped, Leena square in the jaw. It was with enough sickening force that Mal could hear the crack of her knuckles and found pain from the force she put behind it. She took a shuddering breath and shook her head. She didn't need mind games, she didn't. Need. This.

"Don't ******** with me." Malwyn threatened dearly, her dark eyes blazing as she grabbed Leena by the collar of her shirt. "And don't you dare talk about Terry in that way, you hear me? You don't know anything, so stay the hell out of it!" She didn't know why she was suddenly so angry. Perhaps it was because part of her knew, with a sickening dread, that Leena had her exactly where she wanted her. "You think I really believe you've gone all girl scout on us? That you really came to support me? Bullshit! There's only one damn person who ever did that for me and that was Terresha. You were probably 'too busy' screwing someone else." She paused to catch her breath as she stared Leena down, finally letting go of her collar. "Besides, since when in the hell were we ever friends?" She could feel that age old self of hers, the one so resistant to change.

"I'm just about to kill you and every other b***h who thinks they can tell me what I want, or what I need. I'm not a ******** marionette, I don't go dancing on anyone's strings, so don't you dare try, Leena I'm warning you!"

((No. Malwyn is by no means aware that she used past tense there. I indented it to make it easier to notice XD Same goes with her slip on using Leena's name.))
