Cora stared back at Ember, confused as to what she was talking about. She felt full from the bread and a little better now that they were moving on but this game she mentioned had her scratching her head with her free hand. "Ummm 'mis match?' No Miss Ember I haven't..what is it?" she asked with curiosity now in her eyes as they walked hand in hand, continuing away from the empty village.

Ember smiled. Mis Match is a game in which you pick out like things. If I say tree, you need to find something around us as we travel that has something in common with a tree. it could be the grass because its green. Or flowers because they are plants. Understand?

Cora smiled with amusement and nodded, thinking the game sounded fun enough and she grinned for the first time that day, taking her hand and swinging it while intwined with Ember's. "Okay that sounds fun..hmmm let me start. Alright..how about..rocks!" she said after a moment of thought, caressing her gem softly as they walked near into the woods, and for at least now, not worrying about her Da.
