While walking and leading Xander and River, Liam glanced behind himself, just to check and make sure the person he was leading was his Xander, not some imposter. But, with every word she spoke, his small doubts were tossed away, replaced with the certainty that she was real.
Liam smiled, actually coming to terms with his nickname, Annie Apple, and shaking his head at the thought of being called that at all by anyone other than Xander. His faced paled at the thought, imagining some of the more blood thristy pirates calling him that. One such like Bella Donna. That would just be down right embarrasing! Liam swallowed down his momentary embarrasment, and looked back at Xander, catching a glimspe of Eve tapping River's shoulder to ask about his monkey. Liam was a bit curious about the primate, but he could ask Xander about it later. As he turned back to lead again, keeping his eyes on the hallways, he saw from the corner of his eye, Xander touching something around her neck. 'It couldn't be that necklace could it? I would think she would wear something different... wouldn't she?' he thought to himself, thinking back on the day he gave it to her.
Liam kept running towards the guys, keeping his thoughts on the necklace he saw down in the marketplace earlier in the week. Xander's eyes were coming back to haunt him, but the sudden 'THUMP' made him forget about her for a while as he tried to stand back up. "Sheesh Liam! Watch where ya' going!" his friends called to him. He chuckled, standing up sheepishly and brushing himself off. He stood straighter, shoulders back and a mock frown on his face. "Attention crew! We've got a mission today!" he said loudly, gaining the attention of his rowdy friends. "Xander's birthday is today," he started, getting a groan from some of them, and a cat call from the others. "And,-" he got cut off by John, a boy much like himself. "And you want to get her that necklace you told us about a thousand times earlier. Sheesh Apple we know!" John said, grinning at the chance to use Xander's pet name for Liam. Liam himself blushed and grumbled under his breath, not before shooting a glare at the boy. "We'll chip in Capt. Liam! Don't worry about it!" John said with a nod to the rest of the boys. Liam smiled, a blush still light on his face as he held out his hand. "Money then folks, and then... to the marketplace!" he exclaimed, grinning broadly.
It took awhile for the boys to get to the right shop, but they eventually found it, and since the shopkeeper knew Liam's parents by name and reputation, he was actually glad to give Liam the necklace, and even engrave it for free! Liam's face shone with delight, imagining his Macaroni's face light up at the sight of her present. The guys and John wished him luck as the day turned into evening, and Liam was still very excited about his present, knowing that she would love it! If she didn't... Well how could she not?! The sun was setting and the horizon looked as if it was dancing with flames from the sun. He walked down to the docks, spotting his Macaroni sitting there with a dumb looking teddy bear, looking as if she couldn't spend her day in complete happiness. Well, it was now her Annie Apple's job to cheer her up. He called her name, hiding the necklace behind his back, while grabbing her before she fell over into the sea and ruined her dress. He held her up, still hiding the necklace behind his back when she asked him a question. Before she could get another word out, Liam presented his present: a golden necklace, a compass on one side, and his message to her on the other. He could see that she tried to be angry with him, but a crooked smile worked it's way on her face, and Liam's heart soared as she squealed and hugged him, receiveing a softer embrace back...
Liam smiled, remembering how happy she was when he gave her that necklace. "It's not everyday that you run into someone you think you've lost forever. Xander," he started, but his feet stopped infront of his cabin. He turned the knob, opening the door to his quarters and office. His desk was piled with papers that needed to be signed and mailed, as well as with wanted posters he recently received. The room was in order, with little mess except for his tossed pajama bottoms and opened closet door. His walls were painted and glazed, the wood shining from the sunlight that shone through the porthole. A map was on the wall, pins and 'X's marking were they've been and a star were they were headed. Part of the floor was carpeted, the side with his bed, and the other half was laid down with cherrywood. The bed was made, and a lone hanger laid on it. He sighed, running his hand through his hair. "Welcome to my cabin." he said, moving from the doorway to the desk.
[Well I think I might not have acess to a computer that will let me get on gaia after Friday, I'm not sure. But here's a nice long (in my opinion) post! Hopefully I'll be able to post more and be able to use my computer. ^^]
