Alicia thought it an odd question.
"Well who else am I going to learn it from, the wolves that live around here?" She asked, very much unaware of the effect her question might have on Ace. She had only thought to come up with a joke. No, her only thought, was that he could be really sweet and cute. Of course that would be a very bad thing to tell any guy. She smothered a giggle at the thought of telling Ace she thought he was cute.

Ace was smiling as they reached the edge of the suburbs, but he slightly tensed when the word 'wolves' came out of her mouth. On the surface, he just laughed. She didn't know about werewolves and she didn't have to. He would make sure that she would be safe, and she would never have to know about the pack. He was sure of it. "I don't know if they'd be nice enough to teach you." He answered with a small grin.

Due to the fact that he still held her hand, Alicia felt the slight tension when she spoke of wolves. Funny. She had thought he liked wolves. Maybe he was just worried she would get hurt. She grinned at his statement. Pride sneaked into her response.
"Oh I don't know. I think I could handle some wolves. I'm excellent with animals particularly dogs and wolves are just larger, feral dogs right?" She paused and bit her lower lip. "OK, how crazy do you think I am now?"

She thought she could handle wolves? Well, she could handle his moods pretty well. . .He thought with a small smile. He turned to her and realized that she was biting her lip. "I guess you could say that. . .but just try to not get too close to wolves, k?" He had asked a question, but it was more like a command. He didn't really want her to get near them, but for her sake he kept a teasing smile onto his face.

Alicia looked at hm, puzzled.
"O...K...." She stretched the two letters out to emphasize her confusion.
"Can I ask why though? Are the wolves here that dangerous? I thought they mostly avoided humans.
She was a little disappointed seeing as she really did like wolves. But if they were likely to kill her she'd stay clear of them.

She was confused. . . he could tell that much by the way she was acting. But even if he wasn't protective over her, she should put together that wolves were dnagerous. She did like them, sure, but you don't really want to go finding them if they are going to hurt you.

"They do, usually." He said trying not to stress to much the word 'usually.'

Amelia had never acted in this manner before. She was usually the quiet one. She was glad she could act this way with someone.
Amelia observed Telle's face. Her lips quivering...then burst out in laughter.

"Oh my god you're so cute."

Amelia continued to laugh as she threw her arms around Telle. She did not know how he would react to the whole "cute" comment, but it was the first word that came up in her head. It was just...she his face was far too funny.

"They do, usually."
'Usually?' Did they attack livestock? It didn't seem there would be too many farmers up here. This was a fishing town. Alicia didn't think wolves ate fish. And it appeared as though the humans left the wolves alone as much as possible so intruding on their territory and forcing them to be close was not the reason. Alicia wrangled with the possibilities in her head for a moment before deciding she was only going to give herself a headache.
"So...I'm guessing you've come in contact with one then?"

Telle sat watching Grace, until she tackled him again. At least it didn't hurt so much this time. He laughed, no one had ever called him cute and tackled him. Huh.
He wrapped his arms around her and brought his legs down from his chest, noticing how she was practically sitting on him.
"Yeahhhh, I know." he said in his 'cute five-year-old' voice, tightening his grip around her waist. He didn't suffocate her this time, though. That would be... bad.

Ace could tell that she was thinking about something, but now, he just wished that she would change the subject. Talking about wolves was making him antsy. But then she asked a question he thought she would never ask. His hand tensed up, but he quickly recovered his surprise. With a sigh he bleakly nodded. "Once or twice."

Through the laughter, Amelia had the greatest urge to kiss Telle. Who wouldn't sitting ontop of the guy you're attracted to? The thoughts of Telle pressing his lips against hers in the forest ran though her head. She did her best to suppress the feelings. It was not easy.

"So much for being twenty-five."

Amelia teased. She began to tickle him again, seeing as from her position she had the advantage.

"But I never said anything about you being safe from me, now did I?"

Amelia believed this distraction would lessen the feelings...but the blush upon her face proved otherwise.

"I haven't been twenty-five for years" he said, retaining his little-kid voice and smiling up at her. He knew it didn't make sense, but it wasn't supposed to. What it was supposed to do? He had no clue, but she didn't have to know that.
She started tickling him again and he tried his best to protect his stomach, screaming "stop" every so often, as if that would save him.
He noticed her blush, and found it odd. What was she blushing about?
He didn't have time to think about it though, he was too busy being attacked.

Amelia (finally) stopped. However, she remained sitting on Telle. She propped her elbows on his chest. Her face close to his.

"I think that's enough punishment for today, what do you think? It will make up for you refusing to sleep on the floor. Or would you like me to test you further?"

Amelia kept a straight face for about two seconds before a wide grin replaced that.

Apparently it had not put a end to her emotions. Amelia leaned forward, kissing Telle on the forehead at the last second. She sat up. Having their faces only inches appart was not a good idea. Amelia did not know how to react...she just sat there. Embarassed with herself.

Telle nodded, using his puppy eyes again. "That's enough." he said, his voice extra cute-sounding. He really didn't want to be tickled anymore. He didn't even tell Grace she was impaling him with her elbows. It was the only reason he was able to keep himself from laughing, and hold on to his puppy eyes.
When she kissed him, he looked up at her, the initial surprise apparent on his face. He blinked a few times, and it faded quickly.
"First you attack me then you kiss me? I think I'm getting mixed messages here." he said with a smile, hoping to stop Grace from being embarrassed. She didn't have anything to be embarrassed about.
