Ace turned to her and he got a smile on his face, at least a little one. But when she mentioned her dad, the smile wiped clear of her face. "You can't imagine how many people in my extended family are bad, probably in the way your dad was...it's almost unbelievable." Some of the people that had been kicked out of the pack, meaning killed, were...horrible. They almost got the pack discovered. Something that should never happen. Ever.

Amelia turned at a strange sound. A wolf had scampered by, only a couple of feet away from them.

“Did you see that?!”

Amelia nearly shouted. She was awe stricken. This is the second time she had a strange encounter with a wolf. It was odd, she had never experienced this out of the three years she lived here.

“Wow, aren’t we lucky?

She chuckled slightly, scheming.

“Maybe it has to do with the full moon tonight. Maybe there are werewolves in this town.

Amelia joked, smacking Telle lightly on the back.

"No one could ever be as horrible as my dad was. At least in my mind, there's no one." I'm sure they didn't beat you nearly to death when you were younger.
She bit her lip. She had to stop thinking about it or else she'd be a puddle of helplessness. She was stronger now. She could handle this. He wasn't there. She chanted that to herself in her head like a mantra. She looked up again to veer the conversation to another less upsetting subject when something caught her eye. She turned and saw the ocean.
"Oh," was all she was capable of saying for a moment. "Is that it? It's so big!" She knew she probably sounded stupid or like a little kid. Of course the ocean was big, but she didn't know it was like the sky. So endless and blue.

Ace laughed at her reaction and turned to look at her face. Priceless. "This is where I spend most of my time." He said truthfully. Standing on the dock he stretched his arms out and smiled. It was true, not a lot of people liked this place. It was colder than most places but Ace didn't mind. He truly liked the cold.

Blinking Telle took his hand off his face. Grace didn't see her morph, thank God. He nodded along as she spoke, relief flooding over him. His eyes stayed down, sure it was the full moon but at least he could control himself. He looked up again at Grace's mention of werewolves. He laughed wryly, You have no idea. he thought, though he wouldn't say it out loud. "Yeah. Werewolves." he said instead, she'd meant it as a joke but... really.

Alicia blushed again but she smiled through it. She turned to gaze out at the endless water before them.
"It's amazing." She murmured almost afraid to disturb the hushed silence. The only sound came from the water lapping softly against the dock as it moved with the tide's current. "I love it. I think I'll be coming here a lot. That is, if you don't mind. This isn't a secret place of yours is it?" She totally sounded like a dork but was too fascinated with the sea to really notice or care.
"I wish I had my guitar with me." She muttered. She could totally write music hear, with the salty air and sound of the water as her beginning inspiration.

Vi heard the girl speak and she growled. Can't she shut up? Doesn't she know what's good for her? When Vi morphed, she couldn't help herself. It was almost like being drunk. And going after a badger or animal after seeing a human, was almost an insult to werewolves. She couldn't do anything. A mournful howl escaped from her lips and she hoped that Telle would get the hint and get the girl the hell away from Vi. She was never known to drop a fight when it started. Much less a hunt. And if Telle went away with her, it wouldn't have to start.

Telle heard Vi's howl before Grace answered, her 'if she stays here she's going down' howl. He grabbed Grace's arm tightly, he leaned over and whispered "Let's go." in her ear, nodding slightly at Vi to show he got the message. He hoped Grace would listen to him, though he doubted she would. What reason was there for her to go? She wasn't scared of wolves, and he'd already said he wasn't either. So how would he convince her?

Amelia gave a look of question to Telle. She shrugged, stretching her arms outward as far as they could go. Her fists clenched.

“Well, sure. But where did you have in mind? We discussed this problem before.”

She yawned. She was not sure why Telle was so alert. It happened right when they ran into those group of people. She vaguely knew some from school, of course, she never talked to them or anyone else for that matter. She sighed. Their school was extremely dull, it would be much nicer if Telle was there. Amelia shook that thought away.

“Do you know them or something?”

Ace was shocked when he called the ocean a 'secret place'. It was, he just never thought of anyone to guess. He nodded. "I always wanted someone who would come here with me." He almost kicked himself for saying that but he covered it with a smile. Suddenly, he heard the word 'guitar' and he smiled. "You play? Wow, I wish I could. Singing is the only thing I do that counts towards anything musical." He said again, trying to take back his words. Not a lot of people knew he sang, and he hardly did, but he was actually good.

Telle nodded again "Anywhere but here." he answered, steering Grace deeper into the forest. "Yeah I know them." he answered again. Then leaned in closer to her "I'd stay away from them if I were you." he said with a curt nod for effect. He just hoped she wouldn't ask why, he only said it as an excuse. Though he was sure he could think of something if she did.

Amelia laughed as she followed Telle through the forest. She could not help herself.

"Hey, it's not like I have anything to tell them anyway. But if you know them and say that I should stay away from them, does that apply for you as well?"

She knew that she was being far too cruel right now, but she was curious for exactly why she had to leave them be. If there was a good reason.

"Are you keeping something from me Telle Cooks?"

Amelia was serious this time, but her face still would be read as "playful". She kicked up some leaves into the air for added effect.

Telle smiled at Grace's laugh. "Yes of course it applies to me. Do you see me over there talking to them?" he said jokingly, but seriously he would never talk to them by choice. Especially when Vi was hungry, and crazy by extension. His mind went back to Grace when she spoke again. "Maybe I am" he answered simply, smiling slightly. That was of course before he realized he was hiding kind of a lot from her. The whole werewolf thing and all.

She was ecstatic, but only let it show a little with a returning smile. Here she was, with a cute boy, who was showing her a private place of his own, and saying he had always wanted someone to share it with. Well she was someone wasn't she? It took all of her self control to keep from giggling. Oh God. She wanted to giggle? Then she heard him say he could sing.
"You sing? That's amazing! I attempt to but it's really only so I know how my lyrics sound. I've been playing guitar for a long time. It's kind of like this place. It's my secret escape when things just get to be too much. Or if I'm just bored. I-I could teach you if you wanted. It's not too difficult."
She really wasn't that terrible of a singer but there had never been anyone around to tell her if she was good or not. Not to mention she never sang in front of people.
