๑Don't turn your back
Telle sat down after Grace moved the maps and looked around her house. It was cluttered, to say the least, but he wasn't the type of person who minded the mess. He was happy to hear that he parents weren't home, not that it made their conversation (or lack there of) any less awkward. At least Grace was there to feel awkward with him, which she obviously was. She asked him if he worked, a question that sort of took him by surprise. Normally people ask you what you do, not... if you do. "Well... no, actually." he said, looking down to meet her eyes. "We got money from our parents when they-" he paused, searching for the right word. "left." he said, though that didn't really explain it. Still, he hadn't meant to tell her that, but now that he had he felt the urge to tell her more, and hoped she'd ask some follow-up questions so he could. It was strange, though. Wanting to talk about how his parents left. He didn't even talk about it to Ty, the only other person it really applied to. Though Ty had really been too young to understand. All he knew was his mommy and daddy left. Poor kid... Telle though with frown. He realized suddenly that he'd been spacing-out and could've missed something Grace had said. His head snapped back up and he met her eyes once again.
you'll just get your a** kicked.๑
