Story: Though out history certain people have been granted a power. visited in their dreams by creatures, ordinary and extra ordinary, and bound to it. as they awoke they discovered the creature from their dreams waiting for them, bound to thier soul as they were to it's. such people have gone on to do great things with their gift. but in this day and age, such a gift has become a curse. the Goverments of the world have become paranoid. they hunted down all those who bared the "Mark", a sign of the bond between creature and human, and locked both them and their soul partner away in a secure facilty. this is the story of thier imprisonment, and possible bid for freedom.

Background: this Rp takes place in a modern day world. Everyone starts in the secure facilty, whether you are bound to a creature or one of the peopl assigned to guard/care for them. soul partners are bound to a creature, real or mythological, and share a bond with that creature. one can survive without the other, but would be severly crippled. when the bond is forged, each side gives up an aspect of themselves (a sense, an abilty etc.) but gain a mental link with each other that allows them to communicate over great distances. If one partner is killed, the other lives, but does regain what they gave up.

Since very few people in the world know about the soul partners, their reaction to seeing is uncertain. the people who work at the facility, however, have mixed feelings. Hate, envy, pity, love, all could be felt.

Rules: Nothing apart from the normal Gaia rules. No cybering, godmodding ( take at least a couple scratches every so often), auto hitting each other or anything like that.When you PM me your profile put a question (if soul partner) or neutral (if you're a human) as the title so I know you read this. No killing each other without mine and the person in questions permission. Violence is always an options, but nothing too visual (IE no graphic descriptions of blowing someones head off). Romance may also happen ("all us freaks have is each other etc), but no cybering, everything else is fine. I'm not that bothered about spelling or post size, but please try to make an effort, but the occasional one liner's good, I understand writers block. break a rule you get a warning, three warnings and you're out, simple.

Bio: Axl and Artermis have been together for about 12 years. Artermi was older then Axl at first, but because she couldn't age any more, Axl over took her. they leaved together in a city until Axl got involved in a street fight and the goverment found them. They've been in the facility for a few years and don't intend to stick around much longer

Personality: Ashely is quiet and thoughtful, it's hard to make her angry but when she is the wind picks up. She wants to make friends, but is very shy. Kord is curious, but is loyal to Ashley so he rarely leaves her side.
Bio: Ashley and Kord have been together since they were children. They've been in the facility for a couple years, having been caught when Ashley got made and accidently knocked the power out in town.

weapons: Both worktogether to manipulate ice, and flying (Eva can use Shirehime's wings)
Personality: Shire is wise and calm alot of the time she lives within Eva's body so is rarely seen. Eva is naive and clumsy but very sweet.
Bio: Shire rescued Eva from falling off a cliff when she was 5 and they have been together since. They were caught when Eva used Shire's wings to save a child that was falling from a 5th floor window.

Axl was sitting at one of the tables in the canteen. he was poking at his food, if you could call it that, but not eating. around the room were about a dozen guards, all armed with assault rifles and "shoot to kill" orders.
"How are you doing?" he asked Artermis though his mind
"Bored" she said simply "when are breakign out?"
"i don't know, I'm working on it"

Ashley was sitting alone at one of the tables, eating a little, picking off little chunks and handing them to the dog sitting at her feet. She glanced toward the guards, biting her lip.

As Axl sat at his table, he started thinking. he considered making a golem out of the tables and chairs, but they were all bolted to he floor. then he though of the guards weapons, but not while there were still so many guards, a possible plan if he had access to the armoury.
"damn, there has to be something" he thought to himself.

Ashley glanced over at Axl, never getting up the courage to talk to the others in the facility. She sighed a little. Kord nudged her with his nose before standing up and walking off.

Eva sat in her room humming to herself while creating ice flowers in the palm of her hand. "Shirehime.....I want to go home." The flower shattered and the warmth of her hand melted all that was left. Be calm Eva....Something good will happen soon be sure of that. Eva curled up tightly and wiped a tear from her face, I just wanna go home...i never wanted to be here Ice spread across her room and created elegant patterns across the wall.

Axl looked around and saw Ashley looking at him. he nodded at her before turning back to his food.
"Axl, I've been thinking. what are we gong to do when we get out?" Artermis asked Axl though his mind.
"We're going fight, show the goverment what their really dealing with" Axl replied darkly.
