Jaimy Iver

A faint blush of embarrassment appeared on Jaimy’s face as he heard the girl laughing behind them. Fen heard it too, though wasn’t as bothered and simply chuckled himself and picked up their cups of coffee, “Sorry for holding up the line,” he apologized with a slightly smirky-smile. Fenwick guessed she was a local, though there were those tourists who thought everything was funny. Tourists or visitors like himself.

As they were spoken to, the boy’s had different reactions. Fenwick’s expression became one of mild amusement and a spark of playfulness lit his eyes. Jaimy, however, seemed surprised and offered a sheepish smile to the girl, “Is it that obvious?” He glanced to Fen who shrugged and sauntered on over to the table and took a seat, Jaimy soon followed suit with less swagger in his step.

“Where we’re from?” Fenwick chuckled, “Giving that away right off the bat wouldn’t be much fun now, would it?”
Jaimy sighed and rolled his eyes, though couldn’t help the smile that tugged at his lips as he sipped his beverage.

~Rosanna Alessia Van Davreis~

"It's quite alright," Rosanna said, smiling. She ordered the same as earlier, and checked her watch. It was almost time to go back to work. She saw Josse trying to intimidate the boys. "Let me guess. Mall shopped clothes,a tan. You two are either from California or Florida." she said, with a smirk. She looked right back at her watch. "I'd love to sit and chat, but I have to run. I've got to head over to Miss Iver's house and have her pick out some patterns and materials for the suits and dress she wants done for tomorrow." She said, starting to head to the door.

Lady Mariana Brouquette

“She's about to the age that she could turn someone for herself,” A look of slight horror came over her face. “The thought of it's a bit frightening when you really think about it, isn't it?” The woman laughed yet again. When the younger elder plopped himself down in her chair, she didn't seem to mind. As long as no one else tried it, it was alright with her. “And, you never really know with all the tourists that pour in Evonnia as of late, you may yet find someone,” Mariana said, nodding a bit to emphasize her point. “The sun will be setting soon, we'll go find her then,” Her eyes looked to the curtain that hung in front of her window. Jordyn then brought up the subject of a public function, and she became more closed off. “Why is it they've invited us? It's my understanding that one of their daughters is becoming much to curious. Josselynne's oddness will only serve to increase her suspicions, will it not?”

In moonlit forests I wonder to the soft sound of the moon. The lightest of songs playing through the trees as the breeze rustles their leaves. Listen... Listen... Listen to the music of the wind. Listen to the sound of the world as the goddess moon shines down upon it. Watch...Watch...Watch the willow sway and dance to the melody. Join with nature in the music of the night.

Hel waved to the girl before continuing her walk. She was headed in the direction of the thing she had seen. Though it seemed unlikely she swore there was a structure a house of some kind further into the forest. She had seen the tip of a pointed roof but it could have been just a tall tree that had been hit by lightning. Either way no matter what it was she wanted to see, she supposed it could be an old church since some of the towns never tore down the old places of history. Hela also supposed that it could be one of those haunted mansions that every small town seemed to have, the ones where something happened...something not so nice.

The sun was still a bit too bright for her tastes so she pulled up her fur lined coat hood, letting it shade her face from the sun. Hela walked for a good thirty minutes before looking up to see the pointed roof, and this time she was sure it was a roof. Smiling she walked towards it, old abandoned places where her favorite kind of places. No one was there to bother you, there where often animals and plant life taking over the place; but best of all it was dark and damp like a permanent rainy day.

As Hela approached the structure she got a strange feeling in her gut and the breeze brushed against her. This place didn't feel right, it didn't look right either. To others they would see an abandoned mansion like house that hadn't had anyone in it for hundreds of years, but Hela noticed things...new things or rather newer things. The dark green curtains that hung in the windows they weren't old in fact the looked maybe thirty years old much like the porch swing, where as the rest of the house was much older. "Some one lives here." Hela's voice a gentle whisper hardly heard by any normal person. What a disappointment she had hoped to find the perfect place for the performance.

((OOC: I hope this post is okay my brain is in mild reboot mode so please forgive any problems let me know and I'll fix them))

Josselynne Alzbeta Brouquette

“Well, then, I would guess you're right sir. How presumptuous of me to think you wouldn't have a playful mind about things,” Josselynne replied to Fenwick, but her eyes looked to Jaimy. He was being shy, it was rather cute. Eventually, her eyes looked to the other boy, her smirk turning more playful. “Shall we make a game of it then? A question for a question, answer for answer, or something else?” Her eyes might have seemed more predatory to a trained eye, but she passed it and her behavior off as mere flirtatiousness. They were rather cute though, the kind of boys that normal girls would flirt with. “I'm up for any game your mind might cook up, I'd just like to know more about you two. It's been a while since we've had any fun visitors around here,” Maybe Josselynne was over-eager, but she really was very curious about them.

Jordyn Ames

"Aah. But the young Miss Rosanna Alessia Van Davreis, I have been informed, is not coming to the function. Apparently she is exercising her right to not follow her family's rules. And even if she was a bit suspicious - does it matter? Everyone in town has always been suspicious of each other as far as I'm concerned." Jordyn said gruffly. When will she ever realize that she needs to leave this estate now and then?, he thought to himself.

Lady Mariana Brouquette

Mariana listened to his words, but her mind was drawn elsewhere. “There's someone here,” She said softly, looking to Jordyn for a moment, thinking. They could try and pretend they weren't there, but something told her that might not work this time. “We need to go check it out, do we not?” The woman added a moment later, obviously feeling a bit uneasy about things. She was growing weary of all the things that continually seemed to be slipping out of control. It had been much simpler when the townspeople were too afraid to enter the forest. Walking to the door, she looked back to the other elder, expecting him to follow her. “Let us see if she can be dissuaded before one of our own discovers her.”

Jordyn Ames

"As you wish, my lady." Jordyn said as he became not visible anymore. Of course, he knew Mariana could see him in the color of Blue. It was weird how abilities are found and how other vampires see them as. He ran to where the girl was hiding and stayed silent, waiting for Mariana.

Jaimy Iver

Fenwick laughed and raised an eyebrow at Rosanna, “A tan? You’re calling this pasty guy tan?” He lifted Jaimy’s arm, then dropped it as his younger friend shot him a glare, “Or were you referring to me? Sorry to tell you, skin colour is all natural, I’m a Native,” he winked, “Got that Indian boy charm you know.”

Jaimy choked on his coffee as it went down the wrong way, “Iver?” He coughed, covering his mouth with his arm and his eyes watering a small bit. “Miss Iver, as in Lillian Iver?” The girl couldn’t possibly know his Aunt! Then again, with the population so small. He supposed it was possible.

“A game? Sounds delicious,” Fenwick hadn’t yet touched his coffee, instead he rested his elbows on the table and laced his fingers under his chin, “How about we go with your way? Sounds fair to me,” he glanced to Jaimy for confirmation.
“Sure why not, Fen,” Jaimy replied with another small smile and a shake of his head.

Hela had stopped just on the edge of the small clearing that the structure stood in. She didn't want to get closer but she also didn't want to leave at least not yet. Hela's hood hid her face mostly so she wasn't worried about someone seeing who she was. Though she wasn't afraid of the people here after all just because they lived in the silent forest didn't mean they were dangerous.

"Will you walk into my parlor?" said the spider to the fly;
"'Tis the prettiest little parlor that ever you may spy.
The way into my parlor is up a winding stair,
And I have many curious things to show when you are there."
"Oh no, no," said the little fly; "to ask me is in vain,
For who goes up your winding stair can ne'er come down again."

"I'm sure you must be weary, dear, with soaring up so high.
Well you rest upon my little bed?" said the spider to the fly.
"There are pretty curtains drawn around; the sheets are fine and thin,
And if you like to rest a while, I'll snugly tuck you in!"
"Oh no, no," said the little fly, "for I've often heard it said,
They never, never wake again who sleep upon your bed!"

She recited in her whisper of a voice, she didn't know why this came to her mind but it did. She continued the poem stepping a little closer to the building. She wouldn't get any closer but she would walk around the out side rim of the clearing after all what harm could come from that.

Said the cunning spider to the fly: "Dear friend, what can I do
To prove the warm affection I've always felt for you?
I have within my pantry good store of all that's nice;
I'm sure you're very welcome - will you please to take a slice?"
"Oh no, no," said the little fly; "kind sir, that cannot be:
I've heard what's in your pantry, and I do not wish to see!"

"Sweet creature!" said the spider, "you're witty and you're wise;
How handsome are your gauzy wings; how brilliant are your eyes!
I have a little looking-glass upon my parlor shelf;
If you'd step in one moment, dear, you shall behold yourself."
"I thank you, gentle sir," she said, "for what you're pleased to say,
And, bidding you good morning now, I'll call another day."

The spider turned him round about, and went into his den,
For well he knew the silly fly would soon come back again:
So he wove a subtle web in a little corner sly,
And set his table ready to dine upon the fly;
Then came out to his door again and merrily did sing:
"Come hither, hither, pretty fly, with pearl and silver wing;
Your robes are green and purple; there's a crest upon your head;
Your eyes are like diamond bright, but mine are dull as lead!"

Alas, alas! how very soon this silly little fly,
Hearing his wily, flattering words, came slowly flitting by;
With buzzing wings she hung aloft, then near and nearer grew,
Thinking only of her brilliant eyes and green and purple hue,
Thinking only of her crested head. Poor, foolish thing! at last
Up jumped the cunning spider, and fiercely held her fast;
He dragged her up his winding stair, into the dismal den -
Within his little parlor - but she ne'er came out again!

It was odd to Hela that she should have the urge to recite this child's tale but it was her favorite poem and she had it memorized perfectly. She thought the fly to be foolish and vain and the spider sneaky and sly but yet she still liked the spider the best and oh how she wished she could have met this spider and sat with him for just a moment. To talk with someone who's mind worked in such ways would make her very happy.

"Yes, Lillian. The one and only Lillian Iver." Rosanna said, stopping and looking at him. He was only a year older than her, it appeared. "Why?" she asked, curiously. "Do you know her?" It would appear that she was receiving a lot of surprises today.

Josselynne Alzbeta Brouquette

The vampire girl locked eyes with Fenwick. He seemed much more interested in her, and, truthfully, he was being more fun. His friend seemed more interested in the Van Davreis girl. So, she focused her dark eyes on the young man with the mocha skin. “What is your name, cutie?” She asked him, flashing her pearly whites for a moment. Josselynne was careful enough not to show her slightly pointed canines, but she was starting to realize that she might be a bit thirsty. She drank more of her soda, trying to keep herself distracted. She shifted her legs, uncrossing and recrossing them, and accidentally knocking her journal onto the floor. Immediately, she clapped a hand over her mouth to keep from making any embarrassing distressed sounds, but otherwise froze, not sure if she wanted to bend over and pick the book up.

Jordyn's obliging attitude showed that he did still have respect for the matriarch who was over one hundred years his senior. She drifted through the halls of the house, not wanting to alarm the others of her coven who were beginning to awaken. She politely asked them to remain upstairs and in their rooms, not mentioning why. A few of the coven tended to pounce on unclaimed meals, and she wanted to prevent that. The sun was starting to set, and soon she'd be able to go and find Josselynne, so she hoped to handle things with their visitor quickly.

~.~Amelia Emellie Minanette Von Rudnick~.~
Smiling as she got off of a bus that was touring. Her long dark brown hair fell behind her as she wore a black dress with black boots. She smiled carrying a camera with a big lense glancing about curiously. She felt her hair be kissed by a slight warm breeze and smiled slightly holding down her dress. She followed the tourists for a little but then snuck off into the woods. She smiled holding the camera around her neck looking about her deep sea blue eyes flickering about excitedly. She glanced up at some tree's seeing how tall they were. Her pale pink lips were curled up into a smile from being in awe. She touched a tree slightly and smiled moving closer putting her ear to it hearing baby birds in its hollow hole that was amongst the tree. She pulled it away glancing up awed. She noticed the sun was beginning to go down but didn't care. She walked more slightly humming a soft song looking about the woods.
"This place, it's perfect for wild life photography.."She said quietly to herself spinning slightly her dress following her body. She stopped slightly from nearly tripping and giggled thinking her mother and father would love it here. She walked more through the woods like a innocent child wandering into something they were going to get in trouble for. She hummed walking more seeing a few ravens sitting on a burned tree. She lifted the heavy camera and took a picture of them looking at the picture slightly smiling. She nodded watching them suddenly fly off leaving a feather to fall. She took a picture of the falling feather near the tree and nodded once more appreciating the wild life pictures she was gathering. She glanced up slightly at the sky in awe sitting down under a tree. She gasped at how beautiful it looked, and sighed smiling feeling comfortable around this small town.

Sighing softly she felt the tiredness of her flight then her bus ride getting to her. She glanced up slightly humming softly not minding if she fell asleep in the woods. It'd be better and probly funner than staying with tourist that just yacked about how cute the buildings were. She did like the old looking buildings though and smiled thinking about if she should head back or not. She then shook her head deciding not to standing up, she brushed off her dress slightly then began walking further into the woods. Was it foolish? Probly, but she didn't care, there was nocturnal animals coming out now since the sun was going down. She smiled slightly coming upon a few wolves that were eating the left overs of a deer. She peeked out from behind a tree and took a few pictures then quietly walked away before they could even see she was there. Sighing in relief that she had gotten away safely she noticed some wild flowers and mushrooms growing in the middle of a tree's roots. She smiled slightly bending down on her one knee taking a few pictures. She then stood back up glancing about slightly smiling.
"So nice, and calm.. Just so full with peace and serenity.."She said softly smiling at how calm and blissful things were here. She nodded deciding she was going to try and find a little house out near the forest. She glanced about noticing a racoon walking down a path. She took a picture of it a bit watching it come up a little then back off. She looked at her pictures and was clearly satisfied with her work and turned off her camera glancing around deciding to go back."Which way, is back to the town.. Could it be this way..?"She asked aloud to herself moving forward into the woods getting lost. She sighed deeply allowing it to pass out of her pale pink lips. She decided to stay put until the sun came up or until by chance someone was walking through the woods. Which she doubted it of course but sighed looking down unwrapping the strap from her neck rubbing it softly. It was maybe a ten pound camera with the lense which made it hurt her neck. She looking up at the sky thinking of a way to brighten up her mood."A song, would be good.. Maybe someone will hear my singing.."She said quietly her voice was soft, very light, and yet child like with an innocent sound attached to it. She thought of songs then nodded deciding to sing one in particular smiling. She allowed her face become stone like as she began to sing her song. She closed her eyes slightly allowing herself to become deep in concentration.
