~Rosanna Alessia Van Davreis~

Rosanna finished reading the first twenty chapters of her book. Upon doing so, she threw out the empty latte cup, leaving the cafe. It was the perfect time to go into the forest and just relax. She headed towards the forest's path. "Such a lovely night," she murmured out loud, looking up at the sky. Of course, every night was lovely.

Once into the forest, she stumbled upon another girl. "Oh. Hello there." she said politely. What was a tourist doing out here in the middle of the night?, she thought to herself. There must be a reasonable explanation. "You know, you shouldn't be out here at night too often." She replied.

In moonlit forests I wonder to the soft sound of the moon. The lightest of songs playing through the trees as the breeze rustles their leaves. Listen... Listen... Listen to the music of the wind. Listen to the sound of the world as the goddess moon shines down upon it. Watch...Watch...Watch the willow sway and dance to the melody. Join with nature in the music of the night.

Hel hadn't gotten far into the woods but she already knew that she was going to be spending many a night out here. She let the soft breeze brush against her face closing her eyes in sheer ecstasy at the feeling. Nature was her drug in a way, well at least days close to this one where. She continued on her way walking carefully and examining her surroundings.

Not but maybe ten minutes after this she heard foot steps from behind her and turned just as a young woman spoke to her. Hela smiled lightly as she always did when around strangers. "Hello." Hela's voice was soft just barley louder than a whisper and had a light airy tone to it. She sounded much like a cool winters night breeze blowing gently past her voice threatening to disappear completely. "I just moved into town I thought it would be a lovely time for a walk in the forest the silence and beauty of the forest is something I missed in the city. Also I didn't want to miss the song."

Hela hadn't always lived in the city; before she moved there she lived in a small village with a grand total of 200 people. It was small and in the smack dab center of a vast forest so in reality she was more at home here then in the towns or big cities. The forest was her home no matter where she was and it was a great comfort to be able to go back into one and listen to the sweet melodies. She had missed the nights concerts in the city too many noises covering the true song.

~Rosanna Alessia Van Davreis~

Rosanna blinked. So this is the new girl the town's been excited about, she thought to herself. "Oh. Welcome to Evonnia. My name is Rosanna Alessia Van Davreis. Call me Rose or Allisse. I believe you and your parents just moved into the house right across from me." She said, extending her hand to shake hers."And you are?", Rosanna asked. She had to admit, this girl did intrigue her.

There was something..different about this newcomer. "The forest is a lovely place, isn't it?" She said, looking around the forest and the night sky. "Yet it's deadly to be in at night." she sighed.

Hela nodded her head as the girl talked some how the entire town was just buzzing with her and her family coming here."A pleasure to meet you Miss Rosanna." She shook the girls hand her grip was light and like smoke as though when you went to take her hand it would simply disappear. "My name is Helena Ahelan Crissis, but you may call me Hel or Hela if you wish." She let go of Rosanna's had putting her own back in her coat pocket.

Hela thought about the forest and her smile was soft and hardly noticeable. "Yes me and my mother Jullia Ash Crissis but she prefers Jullie." She looked back at Rosanna her dark green eyes the color of the tree they were surrounded by. Hela looked as though she would become part of the forest, like her feet would sprout roots and she would simply grow into a tree no different from the ones around them.

"True beauty comes from the darkest cave or if you prefer the old saying, ever rose has it's thorns." She knew woods where dangerous everyone had heard of the big bad wolf, or the bears and other dangers deep inside every wood but if you knew what you where doing and kept to yourself then you would have no problems. Simply become one with the area and learn it's ways and you would be welcomed as a part of the family into natures ever grip.

~Rosanna Alessia Van Davreis~

"Every rose may have its thorns, but here in Evonnia, Hela, you will find more than thorns." Rosanna explained. "This town has quite some history. And since your a new local, I would consider going to the town's archives to brush up on the town's history. It just may as well be worth it." Rosanna said kindly. Poor girl, she doesn't even know that this town holds many secrets, she thought to herself. "There aren't any malls around here. Only little boutique shops. Making your own clothes would be your best shot if you ever went shopping." Rosanna said, indicating that Hela was in her own little world it seemed.

"Anyways, it should be time for us to get back. The townsfolk will get nervous if anyone is out in the woods at night for more than two hours." She said apologetically.

Hela was listening to the girl even if it didn't really look like it. She was looking around the forest and she saw something that peaked her interest. She wasn't sure if it was what she thought seeing as there were so many trees but she would remember it and take a look. She had already memorized the way she had come so getting back wouldn't be a problem.

Hela looked at Rosanna and though over this."I don't go shopping normally but thank you Rosanna." She looked at a rather large red wood tree and smiled she liked it it had a presence to it like a father figure or a grand father. She smiled somewhat wishing she could just leave and go on with her walk in silence but it didn't seem she was going to get to do that. The moon should have been rising with in a few hours but Rosanna wanted her to leave now and Hel didn't want to really leave. Hel looked up at the sky it was still lit with the afternoon sun it should be just a few more hours not to long. .

"Rosanna, I think I'm going to walk a bit more. You don't need to worry I'll be fine." She looked back at Rosanna meeting her gaze with her own. "Bye." She wasn't trying to be rude but she wanted to hear the song and she would need to be here for a few hours so she wanted to find the perfect spot which could take time. She began to walk away from Rosanna her coat flaring in the light breeze.

Many times Hela had been called a strange girl, she had been called a snob, a freak, weirdo, hippie, emo, almost anything you could think of and probably things you never imagined. Hela was at home in nature and it was the only time she was comfortable was in the moon light on those perfect cool days. The moon was a dear friend and her favorite musician; Hela's mother had gotten used to her daughter being gone for a day or two in the forests or wild areas and she never worried not anymore at least.

Jordyn Ames

Jordyn chuckled at the sight of yet another servant running out of Mariana's bedchambers. It wasn't that he was amused by the servant, rather at the fact that he was amused at Mariana herself. She did need to get a hold of herself before she scared all the servants away. Without bothering to knock, Jordyn Ames opened the doors to her bedchambers and closed them silently behind him.

He did not bother if she noticed. What harm could she possibly do to him? After all, we have eternity to live with regrets, he muttered in his thoughts. "You know, I'd highly recommend a different attitude with the servants if you don't want them running away." he replied in a factual tone while given the time to lean again a wall.

Jaimy Iver

“So it’s concluded then,” Jaimy began as the two friends stared at the sign that read, ‘Internet Bites’
What? That the internet is into kinky things?” Fenwick joked as he brushed strands of dark hair from his eyes. A bright grin was plastered on the darker young man’s face, as he’d never been out of the Golden State before. His parents would have disapproved of his traveling so far away, but who really cared? He was an adult after all.
The joke sent the two young men into a small fit of laughter before Jaimy shook his head, “I was going to say we’re definitely not in big ol’ San Fran anymore.” He then opened the door for his friend, and followed Fenwick inside.

The two had been heading towards Jaimy’s or rather James’s Aunt‘s home; the woman had lived in Evonnia for the majority of her long life. Her name was Lillian Iver, Jaimy’s father’s sister. This fact unnerved Jaimy a small bit, and so he wanted to procrastinate before he and Fen made their way to the woman’s supposed welcoming home. He wondered if the woman would be like, or tell him of his father, since the jerk had walked out as soon as he was a bun in the oven.

“Coffee or juice, my friend?” Fen inquired, bringing Jaimy out of his thoughts, he himself was getting coffee, straight black.
Jaimy contemplated a moment, "Caffeine boost would be great," he mumbled, a faint smile upon his face.
Fen nodded and ordered.

Lady Mariana Brouquette

Mariana knew Jordyn had watched her. He always seemed to look for reasons to annoyed her, to criticize her. Quite frankly, she planned on occasion to do away with him, but as of yet she had done nothing. When he spoke, she shook her head slightly, and stood up. “Ryan has no where else to go, and he expects my anger, could you not tell?” The woman looked to the other elder after speaking off her servant, her eyes devoid of the motherly worry and the cruel anger that had filled them before. “Honestly, if I didn't know better, I'd guess you fathered Josselynne. She shares your wander lust,” Walking over to a bookshelf, she plucked a volume off of it, opening to a woven bookmark that held a page for her. “If she didn't leave during the day, it'd be less of a problem,” The matriarch sat down again in her chair. She scanned the pages of the book, turning a few before she spoke to Jordyn again. “But, of course, I doubt you'll be of help in locating her if she doesn't return soon.”

~Rosanna Alessia Van Davreis~

"Alright then. I'll see you around I guess, Hela." Rosanna said as she began to turn back to the town road. "Have a good rest of the afternoon." she said as she began walking to town again. She found herself oddly wanting another cup of her latte she loved so much.

As she continued to walk toward town from the forest's path, she thought about the new local girl - Hela. I wonder if they're going to be here permenantly or just leave like the people before them, she wondered to herself. Finally at the town now, she waved a polite hello at Ms. Iver, who was on her front porch, reading a book of sorts. Rosanna hated to admit it, but this town was truly something.

As she finally walked the last two blocks to the cafe, she walked inside, caught once again humming an old tune. She sighed as she saw a line. Might as well wait for the latte, she thought to herself. She was waiting behind two boys - around her age - fighting over what to get. It was hilarious how tourists fought over the simplest of things.

Josselynne Alzbeta Brouquette

As a pair of young men walked into the café, her eyes shifted up. They must have been new in town, no one who lived her joked aloud about the sign, everyone already knew it was ridiculous. Josselynne closed her journal, and continued to watch them. The two intrigued her immediately, as if she could sense something about them. She started to open her mouth to say something, but suddenly drew a blank of what would be proper. The girl's mouth hung open for a moment and she blushed, becoming very self-conscious for a moment or two. “ You boys new in town?” She finally asked, leaning back in her chair almost flirtatious, the momentary shyness fading easily. “How about you come sit over here and tell me where you're from?” A smirk crossed her lips as she motioned the the table closest to her, her eyes shining with mischief.

=I think I need a sunrise, I'm tired of the sunset=

Jordyn Ames

Jordyn smiled at the thought. "Well now Mariana. If that's what you think. Maybe I should act as a fatherly figure towards Josselynne. Although with that, comes along responsibility and we both know I am not one to have such knowledge of that subject" he joked, trying to get her to smile genuinely for once. She never did anymore. Not since Josselynne's recent behavior.

Jordyn walking over to her. "Look, if you want me to find her, I will. But as for going out in the day time.. You do need to remember that she is and will always be a young adult for eternity. She's still in her having fun phase. You had one too, if my memory of your story you told me is accurate," he replied, with a light grin on his face.

Lady Mariana Brouquette

Marianna smirked, a smirk that was maybe the only trait she'd passed to her 'daughter'. “Who knows? maybe one night she'll bring home someone you find suitable of becoming your son. She doesn't have bad taste, you know,” The woman joked back, but the small laugh she let out after was a bit hollow. Jordyn was a joker, and he always seemed to joke most with his fellow elder, trying to lighten her mood, she supposed. “I don't recall being as reckless as she's become, but you are right...I did have my own phase....I earnestly hope hers won't last two centuries, though,” The motherly tone had returned to her voice, as she looked to him again. “Do you know how much it annoys me when you're right? I'm supposed to be wiser than you, aren't I? I suppose parenthood leaves once frazzeled in such a manner,” She let out another hollow laugh before she set the book on the arm of the chair and stood up again. “So...what have you got planned for this evening?”

>We all die, all that keeps us guessing is where and when...<

"And at the possibility she does bring home some boy she wants turned, I will gladly escort him out and back to town if she found someone tonight. " Jordyn sighed, shaking his head. "She is too young to be looking for romance. And I hardly think that there would be any suitable young men here to turn anyways." Hearing her be annoyed that he was right, he laughed once more. "I may be right this time, but I do assure you, I have made plenty of mistakes in the past, and possibly more in the future to come." He reassured Mariana.

Walking to the chair she left, he plopped himself down. "And as for tonight.. Finding Josselynne may be the priority. Then possibly taking a walk in town. The Van Davreis Family has invited us tomorrow night for their annual party. Ball gowns and such. I think we should attend and bring Josselynne along. I think she can control herself now." Jordyn said with pride.
