When I caught myself I had to stop myself from
saying something that I should have never thought.
saying something that I should have never thought.
Darcy listened to the fragile looking boy with the power of healing, his voice was quite soothing, she couldn't help the faintest smile that perked her lips into a small smirk as his delicate voice entered her ears. Truth be told, she also had fought a Mragnar demon before, but she was almost annihilated in the process. She had traveled with a friend of hers to kill them specifically and when they were back attacked she had no choice but to step up. But this job didn't seem to hard seeing as she had improved a good bit since then and she could probably run circles around a demon on that size.
Then Bill began to speak about the Fire flower leaves, something she was just about to mention. "I don't mind sharing the pay." she grinned happily at them both. "And then we can pick up a few extra and make another potion or two to use against them." she smirked this plan was going to be hard to go wrong because for some reason she felt like they would do a decent amount of planning before attacking them, not that this was in her nature because frankly, it isn't. Darcy is known to jump into battles unprepared and still come out victorious. Not to mention she was dying to show off to these boys that she was more than just a pretty face and was just as good of an attacker as the next.
The spike hit her ears when Grace's voice echoed. She promptly ignored the woman figuring that Gabriel could answer better than she could. She knew where they were, not the name but she knew that they were in the game she purchased. She knew it and whether he would say something similar or not, she didn't care because she didn't want to go home. This was the perfect place for her and never would she get homesick. She hoped.

And if I was a sailor I'd sail the seven seas to tell you baby I don't want you to leave,
cuz see this world is such a sad place, and without, your pretty face I'm sure it's gonna wind up much worse.
And I know that you'll see someday that I cant live without you, and I know that what I say is true because I'm so stuck on you.

--
They were talking amongst themselves now, the group that Trace had been too stupid to try and join, and now obviously he wasn't needed, three people was plenty for the tasks they had in mind to complete. He shook his head as he plopped back down on the bench just a short detour from where they were standing, what their plans were, he knew all too well about. They were talking at a decent volume that anyone that was blocking out everything but them could hear every word. Trace leaned down in the seat and stared at the ground as his hair flung in front of his eyes, their pale beauty hidden behind the ribbons of red, he watched the grass that sprouted from the cobble stone streets sway with the wind. This game was a reality all it's own, it wasn't a game at all, it's another life.
Trace twiddled his thumbs, he was out of ways to talk to this boy that he had been so interested in, he tried and tried and rejected himself so many times that he felt a fool for even trying, obviously the boy hadn't noticed him and if he did, then Trace hadn't left a good enough first glance impression on him like he had on him. He struggled to speak some words, anything, something that he could squeak out just to be able to take another breath because right now his air ways were shut and he hadn't spoken in a good while since his last words and he had to forcefully push to be able to cough away the words he wanted to say, and he coughed twice before taking a few steady even breaths.
He was more coward than anyone he even knew, what kind of fool couldn't even speak simply to someone. He rolled his eyes and shifted his weight in the seat to pull himself off of it and into a stand. He began to walk away from them, loitering near them lurking would be the death of any relationship he hoped to have with anyone so he ditched. Continuing down the road of the village he passed a few interesting shops but he didn't want to be conned into buying anything so he avoided them before he found himself at a potion shop, where he scoured through the colors and happened upon a vial containing a pink opaque liquid, known commonly as a health drink. Trace purchased it and tucked it into his pocket for easy access, he was planning on traveling back into the woods alone and alone he would. Anything to keep his mind off of the fact that he had failed even himself.
Trace followed the road out of the village and into the woods, part of him hoped that he'd run into the demon they were talking about, but the trees and leaves were all at ease in the area he was entering, his shoes were in his hands and his bare feet pressed against the ground allowing him to feel the vibrations around him, some positive of commanding the earth to your bidding.
I'm in love from the first time I laid my eyes on you a shoo do do do do doo, there's nothing I can do.
I'm in love from the first time I laid my lips on yours now your walking out my door and there's nothing I can do.

Ai
Hoshiko

To ten million fireflies
I'm weird cuz I hate goodbyes
I got misty eyes as they said farewell
I'm weird cuz I hate goodbyes
I got misty eyes as they said farewell
But I'll know where several are
If my dreams get real bizarre
Cuz I saved a few and I keep them in a jar
If my dreams get real bizarre
Cuz I saved a few and I keep them in a jar
You would not believe your eyes
If ten million fireflies
Lit up the world as I fell asleep
If ten million fireflies
Lit up the world as I fell asleep
Ai stood there and rubbed her eyes. She couldn't believe where she was just yet. Was she in the game, was she a person that you could be. She looked around and tryed to remember where things were so she didn't get lost. She blinked a few times and a smile kissed her lips and she ran off. She stopped and looked at the sky and noticed that there were two suns and felt very warm. "Wow! That is sweet." Happy again and she took off running again. "Where to? Maybe town. I need to see if they find anything at the break in...." Her voice sounded a little different than it really was. She stopped at the exit of town and didn't know what to think. The town was so big, so beautiful to her eyes, just like everytown was to her. 'Oh, I forget where my weapon is..I mean my weapon that I always carried with me. What did I do with that thing?' She looked down grabing her hips and feeling nothing but clothes. She stared at her hips for a moment. 'Thats weird. I always have my Sling Shot and wheres my little dagger?' She thought and grabbed her saides again and still nothing.
Ai was wearing a light pink strapless top and a short skirt that was also light pink. She walked on the dirt road into the town and found a the place with all the stores. She turned and looked at each one to see what was selling and other items.
"I think I should go ask where I am." She told herself. She had no clue that she was in the game, or that she had powers or a weapon. She looked around and walked forward and found a quest board. She looked at it and found the first quest to be really good and wished that she had. The post on the board read:
1. Quest: Find the Red Leaves
Objective: Collect ten Fire Bird flower leaves
Conact: Remaro in the Alchemist shop towards the middle of town.
Payout: 50 gold peices
Taken By: Darcy

She sighed as she saw the name Darcy. Ai was the one to do anything with fire, it was one of her favorite powers. Like so, find the Red leaves, and to collect ten fire bird flower leaves. She held out her hand and touched her tips of her fingers to the board. She touched the word 'Fire'. She smiled and wonder where to go to get the quest.

Cuz they fill the open air
And leave teardrops everywhere
You'd think me rude, but I would just stand and stare
And leave teardrops everywhere
You'd think me rude, but I would just stand and stare
I'd like to make myself believe
That planet earth turns slowly
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep
Cuz everything is never as it seems

Gabriel Sesecy
Come to me...
Gabriel giggled at Bill's excitement, happy that at least one of his group was about to be happy they were going to help take down something that could possibly kill them in the process, and in a few moments his anxiety went away, with these two here to help him, it would be easy to take down these demons, and he would be more than able to take one of them on his own... He had already begun to steel himself for this fight, he knew he was going to have to kill, and he also knew that when he did he would probably have to kill again because he wasn't too sure these two would be able to take down the fully grown Mragnar demons on their own, or even if they were working in a team. He also knew that after this, he would fall into a bit of a depression for most of the day afterwards, until he was able to get some sleep and heal his mind, which will mourn these beings, even though they are massive threats to this village... To his home. When Bill looked away from him, Gabriel lifted a hand and changed it into a wide variety of claws and hands in such quick succession that his hand only seemed like a blur. He smiled when it stopped and looked up, he was ready for this.
He smiled when he heard what Bill had asked Darcy, and he felt that maybe this batch of newbies might have a better chance at playing this game. Most ended up quitting and killing themselves the three times needed to simply vanish from this world, others made simple lives on these lands. Out of all the other players, he knew of two that had done anything with themselves, the first of which was Mandatrean, whom had gone off and become corrupt by something... No one, not even the Programmers know what it was, but after a few days of writhing in pain, he woke up and vanished... A few days after that, it turned out that he began an attempt to take over the game... Since then all intelligence and sightings of him have ceased... Almost like he simply vanished into thin air. The Programmers however say that he is currently still working on his plot to take over this world, and thus he needed to be stopped, and so to came to be all the newbies... Maybe one of them could stop this man. The other player that did anything with his life was Otosu Heroken, who's infamy and fame was spread far and wide. Pause to ask anyone about him and they will have a horror story or a heroic story for you about him, about how he had attacked this village once a long time ago and killed many or about one thing or another that he had done on his rode to atonement for this grievous act. The only downfall for Heroken was he had been playing on one of their Programmer's main servers in one of their own rooms, back when this was just virtual reality, and there had been a power shortage. Now his mind is stuck in this game indefinitely, and he has come to think that this place was his past and present, all memories of his real life gone.
Gabe nodded and walked over to stand next to Bill, "That's a splendid idea, shall we go?" He asked with a smile on his face, once more utterly happy to be able to help out those around him in anyway that he could. However something caught his attention, and he turned to Darcy, "No need to share the pay unless you absolutely want too, I'm sure that quest will barely pay out much of anything, so go ahead and keep it." His words were spoken with a kindness, and his eyes were alight with a childish delight, but it was all... Subdued somehow... He was still getting ready to kill.
After all that was said and done, he turned to Grace and smiled brightly before walking over and wrapping his arms around her waist in a friendly hug, knowing that sometimes hugs did calmed down most people when they were in distress. He then took a step back and looked up at her, "Your in the Shades of Time, a massive game. Exquisitely detailed and one of the hardest in the world to play." He lifted a finger and pointed at her, "That is your character. You play, I believe, an Elf. In this game, you come in a new form based on whatever is in your head after you read the What If paragraph, and you also get powers based on that as well. Go around, try to find something you connect with, like an element or something of the sort. Another thing you can do is attempt feats that would normally seem impossible, like bending your body in odd ways, or lifting a building, or even flying. Who knows, you'll have to find them out. That's half the fun." He said with a bring smile, once more happy to share information that he had, and then he stepped forward and hugged her once more before turning back to Bill and Darcy and said "Are you ready to head off? We should get to work as soon as possible, so that these demons don't have time to attack this village."
...I can heal you.
((Threw in a small bit of important game history, pay attention to the stuff about 'Mandatrean', as he is the main bad guy dude that everyone is supposed to really be looking for to kill as well as set up a life in this world))

Otosu Heroken
The sound of the wind calms my soul....
The swordsman was slowly reaching the end of his destination, the town his journey started in, where it all began. He wondered if he would be welcome back in this town... He wondered if these people would accept his presence... He wondered if he would be left to his own devices... He quickly shook his head, and kept going forward, the steady sound of his getas hitting the ground the only sound that now accompanied him until he reached the edge of town, where he heard the chatter of every day hustle and bustle. He paused and took a deep breath, hoping that none of the people here would attempt to start a conflict with him, he really wanted to get in, drop off the sword he found, and get out. His light blue eyes darted around the town, before he tilted his head down and continued forward, sliding his sword forward into a position where it looked like at any point he could draw it, hoping that this would make anyone who wanted to speak to him back off and think twice. He also tilted his head down and made sure his bangs were to cover his eyes, since the last time he was here he had changed everything about himself down to even his hair style, however sadly his eyes would always give him away as they always reflected the color of the sky, and he would always be spotted if his eyes were seen.
He reached the border and looked around, stretching his senses out as far as they would go and so far he didn't feel any thing threatening as of yet, but that could change easily... He was surprised to note that there really wasn't any guards on the border, and he continued onward. It seemed odd and out of place, however to Heroken was listening to something. There was screaming, and sounds of a struggle, and without hesitation he was there standing at the edge of the alleyway, and what he saw caused his eyes to freeze, and turn hard as diamonds. "You there, what are you doing?!" He words were threatening and loud, he was hoping to pull attention to this heinous act before he had to draw his blade, and judging by what he saw there was little doubt he was about to break his oath. There were few things in the world that could do it, but there were things out there that would make him return to his slaying ways if only for a moment. "Well? Are you going to answer me." There was a change in Heroken, his entire stance seemed to change, no long did it hold all sorts of signs of submission and dislike of fighting to that of a proud and noble swordsman, more than willing to draw and kill. His voice even changed, it was only a minute change but it made massive loads of difference, his voice dropped only an octave, but that change was enough to strike fear into half of this small group's hearts as they ran off as fast as possible, terrified of the monster they now faced.
The scene before him was disreputable and hell worthy, what looked to be about thirty men was all standing around this woman, whom lay on the ground in torn clothes, sobbing while holding her daughter, who looked no older than fourteen or fifteen. She was also sobbing and in no clothing it seemed. One of the men stepped forward and glared at Heroken, a brave act if any, and with a wave of his hand he attempted to shoo away the swordsman. "Leave swordsman, this has nothing to do with you, I don't want to have to kill you." The man said, obviously indicating that he was the leader. He then showed Heroken a massive insult and turned his back on him, and this caused Heroken to growl slightly, but he quickly cooled off that anger and with out a second thought his blade was drawn, for it was obvious no one was coming to help. "This is your only warning. Leave. Now." The chill in the swordman's voice would have been enough to freeze the devil in place, and cause most other living beings to soil themselves in fear.
The leader chuckled and snapped his fingers, and five men broke off from the group without any question, raising spears and swords of much variety and with a soundless note they charged Heroken. "Hiten Mitsurugi Style..." Heroken's voice rang through the alley, and they men charging him faltered, not expecting something like this, having apparently at one point in time heard of this style, "Do-Ryu-Sen!" Heroken would have laughed at their faces if he wasn't so serious, and without much more warning than a slight tilt of his blade he slashed it over the ground and pointed it at the men, though to the men it simply looked like his blade went from a ready position to a pointing one, and the man all seemed to suddenly look relieved, all getting ready to charge once more. The ground beneath and around Heroken, and even some chunks of the wall next to him exploded forward with the sound of a mountain crumbling to the ground. The men didn't even get a chance to blink before their bodies were nearly ripped apart by the sheer force of this attack, and when the dust had settled and the rubble had stopped moving all that was left of those five men were blood streaks and possibly a few bits and pieces of body. Heroken now stood in the middle of a rather large crater, a dark look on his face, and the only noticeable change now was the way he held his reverse blade.... He was now holding it backwards, blade in front.
Later on that day Heroken would go through the atonement ritual he had set up for himself, adding more and more scars to his body for every life he took, making himself more and more ugly as time passed. The leader was all that was left standing now, for the rest of his men dropped their weapons and ran as soon as they saw this level of power, it also appeared that the woman and child escaped while the rubble and dust was still clearing. This Heroken was grateful for, he didn't want to take any lives past this one last man, the leader of these bandits, he wanted this man dead. For him, Heroken was going to pull out all the stops and use his most powerful attack ability, the 'Kuzu Ryu Sen'. "You have defiled a harmless woman and her child, you have broken a soul. Today, you will die for this." He leader laughed and shook his head, "You? Your the Sky Eye'd Swordsman? Your as weak as a wilted flower!" The man said pulling out his dagger, however even before his blade was outside of it's sheath, Heroken was already past him, his blade's tip holding only a single drip of blood. "You die now... Hiten Mitsurugi Style: Kuzu Ryu Sen." The man had enough time to blink in surprise before his body crumbled to the ground dead just as Heroken's blade fully sheathed in it's scabbard.
Heroken left that alleyway, and quickly rushed off towards the center of town, where he was most likely to find another swordsman, his body moving like a blur as he dodged around the people coming to see what happened, once again happy to have his massive amounts of speed so that he could do this. He slowed his movement, and soon came to a halt in front of the quest board, where there was a small group of odd people, and his old friend Gabriel was there. He tapped his friend on the shoulder and gave him a nod, before looking at the group in front of him, and with a small grin he dropped the sword at the feet of the swordsman in front of him, the man who looked like he could wield a sword at least and turned and left, the only thing that he left in any form of communication on the blade was a small note, which read 'They call this blade the Demon Slayer.'
...Yet the sound of silence calls my name.

"Yeah, I don't need much. Payout for helping him with the demons should be good enough for me." Bill jerked his head at Gabriel when he mentioned him. He really didn't need much. A few gold here and there and that was it for him. Bill only intended to keep whatever small bit he needed from Gabriel to purchase supplies, if he even payed out what he insinuated. He wasn't like the money-whores that one usually came across. He missed the healer's shapeshifting as his head was turned to Darcy.
Suddenly, someone was standing next to Gabriel, then in front of him, something hit the ground and the man ran off before Bill could say anything. Looking down, there was a sword at his feet along with a note. He picked up both. Demon slayer, huh?
Bill pocketed the note and raised the sword a half-inch out of the scabbard, and whistled when he noted its sharpness. The swordsman turned to Gabriel. "Hey, Gabe. Will this work good?" he hefted the blade, still sheathed. "Note that random guy left behind says it's called 'Demon Slayer.'" He frowned. "Who the hell was that anyway?"

Grace and beauty
Grace slumped down and fell to her knees, "Wait...you mean I'm...in a game..?" She whispered. She looked up at the group around her. "But...how??" Only then did she realize the Gabe had called her an elf. Her eyes widened by fractions at this and trembling hands went to her ears. They went as wide as they could at feeling them to be long and slender, ending in almost perfect points. She gave out a gasp and shook her head violently, "No no no, I'm a tottal like, freak righ now!" She cried, looking at everyone again, "I don't like this! I'm not some sort of gamer freak geek, I don't do video games. It was just a joke to make a character, I wasn't serious!" Tears streamed down her eyes, she couldn't believe this one bit. "Who would make a game that does this to people???" At this point she noticed the man who had dropped off the sword and walked off. Grace found herself drawn to him for reasons she couldn't understand. That was when she smirked, "Well, since I'm here anyway...might as well enjoy it...right?" It came to her that all the men in the area were good looking. The wonder of video games, right? The characters were based on perfection. She stood up and dusted herself off, "I'll stick around...and it should be cool to, ya know, have powers and stuff." She giggled lightly, "Ok, so, I guess I'm sticking with you guys then!" She announced, not caring if they liked it or not. She smiled brightly, her eyes glittering as she watched the swordsman run off. She made it her mission to find him again. A guy like him...he made being here worth while...
might not save me here...

When I caught myself I had to stop myself from
saying something that I should have never thought.
saying something that I should have never thought.
A sword dropped at the feet of Bill, just next to her, and the man who had left it came out of no where and began to walk away from them, she felt the nerve to shout at him, but this was all pushed to the back of her head when Grace had a sudden change of heart, bi-polar much?
Darcy felt quite a little irritated that Grace had welcomed herself to their group, there was no reason for it, but she felt a little dislike for the girl. "Well that was odd, but the blade does look pretty useful." she mentioned about the beautiful sword that was now in Bill's hands. Gabe was right, the pay out for this quest was quite low and sharing didn't seem so important when each person would only get a few coins. She smirked, "I'll keep the pay for my quest unless anyone is interested in half of fifty coins." she looked around and waited for an answer, but she didn't even know if she'd give any to Grace. Wow, there was some strong dislike in Darcy for her. It might just be the girls personality.
Just earlier she also had noticed a red tailed and eared girl approach the quest board and look over the quest she had earlier accepted, interest, but she'd look into working with that girl later after they defeated the demons that were incoming the village. "I'm ready when you guys are." she assured herself in her head that she was ready before she even spoke this.

The cool breeze blew the tall, unkempt grass at angles that made it look as if they would snap. Tiny itching sensations worked their way up the hunter's legs as the grass rubbed them. Her arm was to her brow to keep the sun from her scarlet eyes. The tightly wound ponytail at the top of her head did nothing to keep her golden hair from whipping in her face. The blinding light of the midday sun gave this huntress full direction.
Isobel had followed the sun for days now. She had a bounty she was seeking and this was the direction he was seen last. With the gold she would receive from this bounty she would be able to retire for a few weeks. A vacation was more than welcome to her. She had spent months on the road, searching out men and turning them in. It would be nice to just relax for just a few days after she received her reward.
A small village came into view. From the direction she was walking and the last checkpoint she had passed, Isobel assumed this was Elehmari. This place was famous for new comers. The huntress had no interest in sticking around. No one here would recognize the man she was looking for, so what use were they to her? Nope, she would stop only to restock in her rations. Then it would be back to the trail for her.
As she came into the village, Isobel sought out the nearest supplies shop. She was in desperate need to refill her canteen. Her mouth was desert dry and she needed something to quench her thirst. She stopped only to get a good sight of her surroundings. The place was so small that she had no trouble finding her destination quickly. Her footsteps threw up a bit of dust as she walked over to the store tent. She entered and walked up to the counter.
It only took a few moments to refill her rations. Now she needed to find a creek. The canteen made a soft drip drip as she shook it. There were only a few drops of water left. She turned to ask someone where she might find a creek or stream. There was the forest nearby, but even a fighter like Isobel knew better than to enter a place like that unguarded. Perhaps she could enlist a new comer to follow her in.

The vines were large in diameter and they pushed through the brush and branches moving them out of the way and standing on one in the dead center was Trace, his brows were furrowed and he seemed deep in thought, he was thinking clearly about how much of a coward he was. A jolt shot through a vine and came up through it to the heel of his foot, 'The right.' he thought, quickly breaking his trance and the right of his vines, the trees were unsettling and the leaved waved in warning.
His brow moved up in suspicion just before the trees were shattered, the particles of wood from the trunks flew around violently like needles, Trace kept a hand forward and the bark and branches and pieces of woods were each thrown around him, each missing him and crashing into the ground behind him. The brows of suspicion changed instantly to scrunch and his eyes filled with furry, he hated being attacked without warning, as would anyone else. After the air cleared and Traces vines settled back into the earth he waited for the dirt like smog to settle. On the other end was a creature that resembled a squirrel from reality but this beast was much bigger, in height it came to Traces waist and it's cheeks were sagging repulsively low and drool was falling from the open parts of it's lips. It's eyes were dark and had no white to them, it's hands were short and fat along with it's legs, in fact it wasn't even standing on them, it was held up by it's stripped tail balancing on it's tip that was fat and the fur was all matted into a weapon like hardness. It's ears were stretching about it's entire height above it's head and it released a growl that made Trace shiver, fighting this wasn't going to be that hard, but it was going to get harder.
Behind the brush behind it were three others, four against one wasn't fair at all, but you deal with what your given and now he was alone and he needed to win. The other perched on their tails as well and they all glowered at Trace with their eyes of black, he felt a small shiver rise up his spine and his stomach jumped a little, he was trembling almost, Trace wasn't accustomed to fighting yet but he'd try his hardest.
They were Bumnit's but Trace didn't know this and they were going to be easy to kill but they were quick and hard to catch but if Trace could get them, they would be done for. He braced himself as they all took off at him using their tails as propellers every couple of yards the tail would hit the ground and propel them further, Trace raised a hand and vines crumbled the earth around three of them and the fourth had just passed the hole that vines sprouted from, the vines wrapped around the tails and bodies of three of the Bumnit's and they wrapped tightly around their fat bodies.
They squealed in pain and bit at the roots that wrapped around them but failed at escaping, the vines squeezed harder and there were echo's of the cracking of their bones, needless to say those three died. Trace lowered his hand as the three were mutilated and covered with their own blood that was now spilling from their mouths. And the fourth, the one that stood at him before and initiated the attack now zoomed by his body and the tail swung down and smashed into Traces torso, sending him flying backwards, luckily he was quick on his toes and raised another hand, vines sprouted and caught Trace in mid air, the beast landed and rolled onto it's feet and roared loudly, it's mouth filled with something and it's lips exploded, immediately air shot out of it's mouth heading directly for Trace and once more he was bolted out of the grasp of his vines and tumbled onto the ground, while in air he flicked his wrist and the ground shifted under the Bumnit and it fell into the pit fall, Trace hit the ground and skidded across and he quickly sealed the the hole with another layer of the ground, it sealed and began to fill.
Traces eyes closed with the cut that now bled on the ground from his arm had moving fingers, indicating for the hole to fill, and the squeals ended not long after. Trace smiled and sat up, he felt accomplished even with the deep gash in his arm. He sat with a smile and bit his lip trying to ignore the pain.
I'm in love from the first time I laid my eyes on you a shoo do do do do doo, there's nothing I can do.
I'm in love from the first time I laid my lips on yours now your walking out my door and there's nothing I can do.

Gabriel Sesecy
Come to me...
There were many things in this world that could surprise Gabe, and many more in this world that could do it, and some of them he was ready for and could soften the blow when he brought to mind that this was a game and most things were unexpected. However this was one of the few things he would have never thought in a million years to happen, the great master swordsman Otosu Heroken actually showed up in the town of Elehmari, the town that had ended his life as a respected swordsman and left him as a feared and infamous monster. He looked up at his old friend and nodded in return, and he was once more taken aback when he saw Heroken drop that sword at Bill's feet, as never before was Heroken the type to just give up a weapon to someone random, at least random to him. Gabe turned and watched his best friend leave and not even pause to speak to any of these people, not even to stop for a second to talk to himself. Gabriel shrugged, even after knowing this man for this long he would never understand the inner workings of his friends mind.
He shook his head and waved good bye to his old friend, figuring that if there was a need for him to hurry off like that, then there was a good reason, and it was one Gabe didn't want to know, because it was normally something bad when it came to Heroken. Gabe did notice the pained expression on Heroken's face though, one that normal people wouldn't be able to spot, and it was apparent that Heroken most likely just took a life. Gabe's eyes widened slightly however when he heard the name of the weapon that Heroken had given Bill, and he let loose a small whistle, even himself, who you couldn't find a bit of greed in found himself a bit jealous of the gift given to this new swordsman, who probably didn't know any sort of battle style, and just went about swinging wildly. "In answer to your first question," Gabe said, slowly starting to brighten up and get excited, happy to be able to inform fellow gamers of the bits of life here that he was familiar with. "Yes. That weapon will work incredibly well!" he was now bouncing on the balls of his feet, breath taken by the fact that he did it, he actually got the legendary Demon Slayer. "That weapon is one of the ten weapons of legend! It's said that this weapon can slay any demon with little effort, and against a demon the wielder of this mighty blade has nothing to worry about, as the blade will guide your body and keep you, for the most part, uninjured. Wield it well and keep it close to you at all times, I know armies of men who are more than willing to cut you down just to have a chance at that sword."
"In answer to your second question, the less you know the better." Gabe said with a small shrug, before turning towards the woods, not sure why but he felt like ignoring Grace... She seemed... Rather... Clingy? Irritating? Gabe didn't know, but a part of him disliked her right off the bat. Not one to amplify these feelings, he immediately pushed it to the side and welcomed her with a smile, as was his usual custom. With Demon Slayer on their side now, it seemed trivial to go and grab the potions, and instead of heading towards the flowers he began to walk towards the forest. He turned his head back and grinned at them playfully, "Race you to the edge of the forest!" He knew this was a cheap trick, but he wanted to give them sometime to mull things over and get to know each other as they would have to be working together, Gabe on the other hand would be taking on one of the demons on his own, but it was imperative that they learn to get along with each other, else when it came time to help each other fight, then things would go down hill quickly. He turned and immediately took off, shifting quickly into the form of a dog like creature, but before anyone could get a good look at it, Gabe's body leaped into the air and took on the shape of a small bird, which shot ahead at great speeds.
...I can heal you.

When I caught myself I had to stop myself from
saying something that I should have never thought.
saying something that I should have never thought.
Even when sheathed it was beautiful, she wanted power, just like anyone else would but Darcy wasn't the type of person to just snatch it from his hands... she was the kind to take it from him while he slept. She quickly banished this thought. Even after the banishing... the word legendary ran across her mind. It was something worth thinking about but, right now, friends were nice. Darcy grinned to Bill as Gabe took off in Dog form and then to Bird, a race would be fun, good way to get closer to them.
She giggled as she ran ahead, fortunately, speed was her forte in battle next to agility. She tossed her legs over her body tossing her torso up over it in a flip. As she landed delicately on her toes her legs moved swiftly in motion with the way she wanted them too, placed strategically to allow her a longer stride than others that was almost like a skip. It was beautiful and gracefully, ballerina like. Her curls bounced with each turn and twist that she wove into her steps, and with a final spin her body dematerialized.
Within this state she moved faster and she used her arms to push herself forward involving power distributed out of her body from her finger tips. It was a telekinetic sort, but this telekinetic power was still unknown to most around her because she was thought more of an illusionist of sorts. She giggled and sped ahead.

Bill looked at his sword in amazement. Legendary!? Way past cool. He unbuckled his old, crappy sword and dropped it on the ground, replacing it with the new "Demon Slayer." Here he was thinking he was going to have to reach a high level to gain a crazy weapon, and instead he was just handed one.
Bill shook his head in amazement, not realizing at first that the other two had already taken off. Blinking, he looked up to where they were going, and turned to Grace. "Coming?" he asked, then took off without waiting for an answer, quickly catching up to Darcy despite the distance between them.
It wasn't until he had gotten down the street when he realized that he should probably had waited for her, but then reconciled with himself that if she was intent on following, she would and what did he care?
€ome on! I ςąŋ handle anything!
