Star and Louma both stepped back and watched Louma watched Star carefully she was getting more and more exgsausted now that she had to stand there. Star felt the power slowly slipping away and watched hopping if she did have to fight she would have enough streangth.

Kopaku quickly pulled away her sword and stumbled back a few steps. "What did you do?"
"Nothing, did you forget that she and I are twins?" Makuto took a few steps forward.
"I won't give up, I'll find a way to destroy you." Kopaku held her ground.
Makuto smirked. "There is darkness in every heart, I can see and control the one's rising in yours." Makuto pulled out a necklace from a nearby shadow*. The necklace with a single blood red shard hanging from it. A large dark hand with a red shadowy aura came out and it consumed Kopaku.
"What is this?" Kopaku was trapped in a room, stained with blood, something was fogging her vision with darkness. "Makuto!" She shouted out into the dark fog.
"You are under my will." A dark voice called out.
Suddenly, Kopaku couldn't control herself. She wasn't even given a chance to resist. Her mind was cast off into the shadows and her body wasn't herself.
Kopaku's body stood still. Makuto moved Kopaku with her hands like using invisible puppet strings.
Makuto put away the shard and tended to her wound, which healed easily with her powers. "That wasn't so hard now was it? Time to show off the new you."

( * - The shadows are like an infinite subspace bag to Makuto)

Star stood up straighter, "What did you do?" a voice sang out it was angelic and had a sweet tinkiling in it that made it souund charming. Miranda took several steps forward at the ready. She was starting to loose control as the light fadded a little but she held strong.

Matu Nua

Makuto grinned. "You wouldn't hurt and innocent person, would you?" she held up Kopaku in front of her as a shield.
"Makuto..." a voice called out from Issa. But it wasn't Issa saying the words. It was a golden silhouette of a person that stood up from Issa's place. She glowed brightly, but only the other sprites could see her.
"Impossible! You couldn't have broken the curse! I'm still here!" Makuto spat out.
Matu Nua looked at Kopaku, her eyes flashed and Kopaku fell down, broken of the mind control. Tahko, Gahki, and Hahko went to help her immediately.
"Come, take a walk with me." She was next to her in the blink of an eye and she grabbed Makuto's arm and their minds were taken far away.
Makuto looked around her. She was in an empty white room. "Where am I? What kind of trick is this?"
"Trick? This is no trick sister."
"What is it that you want?"
"What do you see?"
"Nothing."
"Not yet, your mind is fogged in darkness, you have stood in it too long. Let the light unwind you."
"I will not, go into the light." Makuto growled.
Matu Nua sighed. "Come, your mind must be cleared, and you will see what kind of path lies in wait for you." At her words, the white room burst into life, grass and tress sprung up around them and a small stream leading to a fork, a large river, bustling with energy, and a slow, calm stream that continued on it's journey.
"Over here" Matu Nua waved over to the stream. "This stream represents an average life, any kind of life, human, creature, animal. Our job is to lead it to where it's destiny lies. My job is to purify the soul before it goes onto it's journey. Your job, was to give it choices, but do not tempt it to go one way or the other, for it will choose when it is ready."
"Your point?"
"Sister, what has happened to you?" Matu Nua looked deep into Makuto's eyes. Makuto feeling this, turned her head away.
"Perhaps it is this?" She pulled out the red shard that Makuto used to control Kopaku.
"Don't touch that!" Makuto made a grab for it.
"It is stained with the blood of the innocent. I will give it back to you when it is purified." She bent down and let the running water clean the shard. It became a clear blue shard.
"I understand why you are angry." Matu Nua said putting the necklace into Makuto's hand and closed her hand around it. "You are the last of the shadow spites. Your race was destroyed in fear of the other sprites, they feared your race would destroy the others in your growing strength. Your race was innocent, until now, when you discovered anger, rage, and despair."
Makuto stared at Matu Nua. "I cannot change the things I've done, nor can I change the way I am."
"You will, in time."
They were taken back to reality, not a second has passed. Makuto gasped, as if she had held her breath.

Star felt her head hurt as the light fadded and she took a step back. She felt dizzy and fell as she fainted.

A woman stood behind her and caught Star as she fell. The woman was bright just like Star had been and was buitefull beyond the heavens. She looked up at Louma as she straightened up Star in her arms.

Louma saw the woman and jummped back he was in major trouble. His eyes turned red in anger and he dashed up the stairs and through the house till he jummped out the back window.

Lero saw his brother as he was going to the foyer saw the sense of danger in his eyes. Lero went to the foyer saw the mother of light and ran for it following his brothers lead.

The woman stood there with Star in her arms and headed for the front door taking Star away from there like any mother that would lead her child away from danger and protect her.

"What happened?" Issa looked up as the danger passed.
Shoki heaved a big sigh. "They didn't pay. So much as being the best customers. If he doesn't pay, he doesn't get what he wanted." Shoki took off the handcuffs off Issa and Saren.
After Shoki took off Saren's handcuffs, he immediately jumped up and punched Shoki close to the throat.
"Damn! What was that for?! Wait, my voice. Why is it like this? Great, you broke my voice filter, you-." Shoki resisted the urge to say a handful of naughty languages (;D) as she pulled off her helmet because it was useless now.
"Master Shoki! Are you all right?" Yori rushed to Shoki. He then turned to Saren and put up his fists "I could take this guy on without any help at all!"
"Wha- You're, a girl?" Saren took a step back in shock.
Shoki looked at Yori."It's all right Yori." She turned to Saren. "Yeah, you got a problem with that boy?" Shoki getting irritated and clenched her fist.

"Kopaku, are you okay?" Tahko sat next to her as she started to wake up.
"No, I am not okay!" she said shaking with anger, but then her expression softened. "But I am alive, thanks to my sisters."
"I'm glad."
"You? Of all people, are glad, that I am alive?"
Tahko was taken aback at these words. "Well- it's- it's because who else would I take out my anger on?"
"It's okay Tahko, we may hate each other sometimes, but in times of need, love is what ties us together. It's what makes us united."

Makuto looked off at Louma and Lero running off. "Cowards." she muttered under her breath. She turned back to Matu Nua. "How can I face my other sisters after all that I've done? Surely they must hate me after all that I've done?"
"They do not hate you sister. They have misunderstood. It will take time, and you will have all the time in the worlds to think, between the seconds, minutes, hours, days, and years."
"I am ready, but first, I must apologize to those I have hurt." Makuto walked with Matu Nua down the steps and faced the other sprites as they were catious around Makuto.
"Sisters, before I think about my deeds that I have done in the banks of endless time, I would like to explain to each of you what I am innocent of." She whispered into each of their ears and when she got to Kopaku, it was about her fiance. "I didn't really steal him or do anything at all to him. He was too stubborn and still loved you even under my mind control. It took a lot, but I make it look like he loved me more than you. He's waiting for you back home." After that, Kopaku was blushing furiously.
"Well, this is goodbye." Makuto and Matu Nua walked out the door, and disappeared in a flash of light.

The mother of light brought Star to a white house that was fairly big. She walked in and up the double staircase to the second floor. She walked down the hall passing several doors with names on them. On each side there where eight doors and at the end of the hall there was on door. The woman stopped at the last door on the right and turned towards it. The door had the name Star on it. She opened the door without using her hands and walked in. The room was comfortable and the colors soft. She went to the big bed and set Star down on it and made her comfortable and then left for the last door her room.

"Star?" Issa stood up rubbing the marks the handcuffs left. "Star? Where did she go?"
"I'm not sure, a woman that looked a little like Matu Nua came and took her away." Tahko looked deep in thought, but then a smile broke across her face. " And don't forget my promise!" Tahko put her arm around Issa's neck and rubbed her fist on the head. Thako's glow has faded and she was back to normal with Kopaku. "I'll stay here to be your bodyguard in case Saren's away. You're pretty useless by yourself, so why would those idiots want to make you come back here?"
Issa looked down, because she was ashamed to have been a dark seeker. "I used to have powers of the shadows from my loneliness building up. I used to be able to create any weapon I wanted out of the shadows and telekinesis."
"What happened to them?"
"I met Saren, he helped me see into the light despite him being a demon." Issa looked up and grinned at Saren, who turned away in embarrassment. But her smile faded away. "Now I lie between light and darkness, I don't want to go back to the darkness, but I'm not sure if the light will accept me for once being in the darkness, and I was about to go back." Issa covered her face with her hands.
"Hey, cheer up!" Tahko pulled down her hands from her face and gave her a thumbs up. "You were about to because of your boyfriend over there, ya'know?"
"Your right. I can't be brought down because of this."
"Come on, let's go." Saren said impatiently.
"All right! It's settled! Bye guys!" Tahko waved to her sisters.
"We're coming with!" Kopaku said.
"What about your fiance? Hm?" Tahko teased.
"I'll make him sweat a little. Think of it as a little punishment."
"Let's go back home, Saren, reheat that pasta!" Tahko lauged as she ran out the door.


Shoki sighed. "I can't work with this, I'll have to get it repaired." she looked around her helmet. "Come on kid, we're going back home."
"What? What about the job?"
"Too late now. Hurry up, I want to introduce you to someone else." Shoki put her helmet back on.
Curiously, Yori walked behind Shoki on the way back as they got out of their armor and walked to the forest. Soon, they were in an opening, a small pile of fallen trees, neatly cut, were across the opening of the forest. Across the fallen logs, there was a small gravestone, neatly written on the stone said "Jarren"
"Who is this?" Yori poked around it.
"Show some respect!" Shoki was on her knees in front of the gravestone with her head down and forced Yori down too. After a long quiet minute, Shoki spoke. "This is Jarren, my master who raised and trained me when I was around your age." She looked up at the gravestone. "Master. Jarren, this is Yori, my apprentice. He's a changeling. I wonder If I was like him when I was a kid. Curious, rude, obnoxious...." Yori nodded his head at everyone until he realized what Shoki said.
"Hey!"
After more several moments of silence, Shoki didn't speak for a while. Quietly, she said to herself "I'm sorry I couldn't save you. Why did you have to save my life instead?"
Yori hearing this, started to feel her pain and sat there in silence.

Star woke up the light coming in through the window making her blink awake. She rolled out of bed and looked around the room. The room was warm and made her feel that way. Star walked to the closet and found clothes that she would wear anytime. Star pulled on a pair of pants and a shirt and walked out of the room. She saw the name on the door across from her and she read it out loud, "Jake..." she said and then turned around to the door she just came out of. She jummped back in suprise when she saw that her name was marked on the door. Star walked down the hallway reading all the names there was eight guy names and eight girl names all marked on the doors. The girls where on the right and the guys the left. Star walked down one side of the stairs and into the grand entrance. Everything was bright and fuzzy feeling. She liked it and moved on. The family room had several couches and tables that all sat in a circle in the room. Star walked on to find the kitchen. The kitchen was huge and had warm colors all over. She walked into the dinning room to find a huge table with 17 spots all sitting around the table. Star made it around to the entrance again and thought. In every room that she saw everything was either white or cream nothing was dark what so ever.

It was a little awkward walking home as a crowd around Issa. Onewo and Pohata wanted to try out their new prank toys they made on Issa. Kopaku and Tahko were arguing who would have to protect Issa when Saren was gone, Hahko and Gahki were asking Issa how humans could survive in all this stuffed up climate and how they had survived how to live through different diseases. Matai was the only one following behind laughing at the around crowd Issa, who was nervously trying to answer all their questions. Eventually, they got back home and they left Issa and Saren alone in the living room.
"Well, this is kind of awkward...." Saren looked away in an embarrassed tone
"But at least they left us alone." Issa glomps Saren.
Saren, a little surprised, looked around to make sure nobody was watching, then put his arms around her.
Meanwhile, all the other sprites had put their ears to the door to see if they could catch anything to hear.
"Hey, your elbows in the way!" Pohata whispered as she shoved a little at Onewo.
"Me? Your whole arm is in the way!"
"So's your mom!"
"It's your mom too!"
"Your ugly face is in the way!" Pohata's voice rising.
"Ugly? We're twins!" Onewo jumped at Pohata.
They caused a fight in front of the door making a lot of noise. Eventually, Kopaku, Tahko, and Matai were able to pull them away from each other.
Issa pulled away and laughed a little. "So much for being alone."
Saren smiled and pulled a few strands of hair from Issa's face.

Star went to the kitchen again and went to the fridge grabbing a carrot and taking a step back and closing the fridge."We have a rabbit demon in the house?" said Jake laughing as he stood by the door of the kitchen in a white button down shirt and blue jeans.
Star jummped tossing the carrot and turned she growled about him calling her a rabbit.
Jake laughed and held the carrot in mid air bringging it to her face, "You want it back?" he asked.
Star growled then stopped, "Yes please and i am a wolf not a rabbit." she said and grabbed for the carrot.
Jake moved the carrot away, "Catch it them wolf." he said and made it spin around the room.
Star watched it and then as she figured out his patern in the room which was window, ceiling, chair, ceiling, fridge, window, chair, cabinet, and repeat. Right as it was heading for the chair again Star shot across the counter and grabbed the carrot between her teeth skidding to a hualt her paws planted flat on the ground. She bit the carrot and swallowed it.
Jake smilled, "Wow you have quick brain eye cordination." he said and sat onthe chair and stared at the fidge it opened and a glass came flying out of the cabinet and the jug of milk from the fridge. He poored himself a glass and sent the milk back. Jake took a sip and sighed, "Oh that's good." he said smilling.
Star stood up on her hind legs and then she was on her two human feet, "What are you some kind of mutanta?" she asked him going to sit on the chair next to him.
A swish of air and Sam was standing next to the new girl his arm on the counter on a pile of books, "No dear we are humans with powers so in other words you could call us mutants, by the way my name is Sam and that is Jake my dorky brother." he said holding his hand out for her to shake it.
Star smilled, "Well it is nice to meet you two." she said shaking his hand.
Jake smirked at his brother and then saw the books and moved them off the counter.
Sam fell and before he could touch the ground he had caught himself, "Ugh Jake!" he yelled and looked up but Jake was gone. Sam ran out of the kitchen after him.
