Shoki drove to Louma's house while Saren and Issa whispered to each other in the back.
"Saren, you can get out of this, save yourself, I'll get out again." "I'm not leaving without you, besides, what if you get out in pieces?" "You can revive the dead can't you?" "That just means I couldn't save you the first time." "Quiet back there!" Shoki yelled. They finally got to the house and they got out. Shoki got out her flamethrower in her multi-purpose gauntlets and burned down the door. As she stepped though the ashes she dragged Saren and Issa. "Hey, anyone home?" Louma stepped into the foyer and smirked, "You had to burn down the door?" he asked in an irritated voice. He was happy that she had gotten Issa for him but was ticked she burned down the door. Star followed Louma out into the foyer she had been helping him in the library sorting stuff and she was weiring a brown nice day dress. "You didn't say anything about that until now. You have to warn me earlier." Shoki pushed Issa and Saren inside and put them onto their knees. "To prevent further escapes, you should notice how close they are, if you get the big picture."
Issa looked up. "You wouldn't." "I'm not sure about Louma, but I would." Shoki tased Saren causing him to grunt in pain he was already feeling from being shocked and pushed around. "No! Stop! Louma! Make him stop! I'll..." Issa gulped and looked down "I'll go back" she said quietly. "Issa, no! Why you!" Saren started to get up and Shoki shocked Issa and he stopped and got back down. "Time to pay up." Shoki turned to face Louma. |

"Shoki stop, Issa it was a wise dessicion for you to come back." he said and looked at Star, "Star would you be as so kind to get the case from the study?" he asked her and watched as she walked off to go get it. Star nodded and walked off she knew where the case was it was under the desk in the study and it had all the money in it for the hunter. Star stopped and put her hand to her head feeling pressure and a sharp pain in her head. She gripped it and fell to her knees there where so many images flooding into her brain she was confused as what was going on. Suddenly she remembered everything and stood up she still remembered what was going on and ran upstairs she put on her old comfortable close and grabbed the case of money and walked back downstairs. Star came into the foyer, "This was the money you wanted but i don't think i am going to give it to you." she said to Louma putting the case down, "Wow sometimes i have to remember to sleep with my eyes wide open." she said and then looked at Issa and her friend Saren, "Hello Issa." she said the wolf instinct had returned to her eyes and she felt more alive and herself again. (Sorry stirring up some mistchife ok i can't spell.) Louma gritted his teeth seeing the girl had passed his brothers mind control something must have happened to make that happen to her, "You are surrounded Star there is no way out." he said and Star just laughed at him. Star laughed at him, "Yeah you think that." she said reaching up her sleeve pulling out a small katana. |

"Star? What are you doing here? It is you right?" Issa wasn't sure after being tricked by Yori the first time. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." A soft ringing voice that made Issa's ears hurt came out of nowhere. Suddenly out of the shadows, a girl with long black hair and glowing red eyes came out. She was pale, thin and tall. "Nice to finally meet you Issa, I've heard all about you from my shadow minions." She looked at Louma and smiled. "I don't believe we've met before. I'm terribly sorry for my intrusion, but it's business. I'm sure we can arrange some kind of truce for now. My sisters are against you and I and I do believe it would be wise we work together. I am Makuto, the sprite of darkness, at your service." She bowed a bit. "I'm sure you've met some of my other 'good' sisters." "Makuto? You're the one Kopaku and Tahko's after!" "Yes, I'm sure they have many reasons besides waking up my sister who lies in slumber in your heart." "My, heart?" "Sleep spares her pain. Awake, she suffers." Makuto's voice made the whole room seem to darken for a moment "You're the one causing the pain!" "Not yet." Makuto gave an evil Cheshire cat smile. Shoki stood there watching what was happening. She wasn't paid to stop them, so she didn't do anything. Yori came up from behind and watched also. Makuto |

Louma smilled things where going in his favor he was still mad about Star but that all could be changed, "It's nice to meet you Makuto and as it sounds i have a feeling we will get along greatly." he said and smilled, "As you know i am Louma." he said with an evilish grin and he put on hand behind his back and bowed like a real gentalmen. Star growled just another distraction she kicked the case aside and switched forms her eyes switching to a dark red color the color of blood. She wasn't more human anymore but her wolf self was starting to take over. Star jummped inbetween Louma and Makuto in her wolf form a red streak across her side red as blood against her white fur the streak if you looked close enough was sort of like a rose thorns vine the thorns coming off the vine in sharp smooth lines. Star growled at the lady and a deeper voice than hers filled the room in a growl, "I will not let you two come together to cause more caos." the wolf inside her growled at Makuto. |

"Trying to catch the shadows?" Makuto sneered. Feeling nothing from Star's attack who just went through her like a fog. "You can never catch the shadows, the shadows catch you." At that moment, shadows grew larger and strange dark deformed beings with glowing yellow eyes grabbed Star's leg and pulled her down. She couldn't touch them because they were simply shadows. Makuto put a shadowy red aura around Star, causing her to paralyze in fear whether she was afraid of her or not. She bent down to Star's height, far enough so she doesn't snap at her. "You've been a bad dog, and bad dogs need to be put to rest....If Louma here wishes it?" She turned facing Louma with raising an eyebrow.
"Star!" Issa shouted, trying to snap her out of it. It was no use. Makuto was the eldest and the strongest out of all the other sisters. Suddenly, Issa saw something golden flash. It came again and repeatedly like a racing heartbeat, then it was fully golden and She saw a silhouette of a girl. The girl turned her head and looked at Issa and said: "Follow the light." Issa blinked and all of it was gone. |

Star sat inside her head the wolf taking over she crossed her legs and listened to what was going out and then it came to her a white light it was bright and she felt the darkness in her mind dissapear. It was comforting. The wolf outside growled and then the vine went away and the eyes of the wolf turned from red to white and glowed Star smilled and watched as her body was filled with light and the darkness started to deminish around her sending the shadow demons to scatter. Star felt the true power of a light protector fill her soul and set her heart a burts. It felt as if her heart was a buterfly this was someone different this was a name she saw when she was still in her mind this was Angel. The demons dissapeared in the racing light and Star stood up on her feet she was now weiring a pure white dress as it glowed white white as light. Louma jummped back when he saw everything happening and when he saw Star glow he got scared this was bad. He had heard about this in books of the past about all the light protectors comeing together and destroying the darkness forever but the darkness came back. |

"Nooo!" Makuto shouted. "It burns!" Then Makuto smiles. "Is that what you expected me to say? Don't make me laugh. The more light there is, the larger and stronger a shadow becomes." True to her word, all the shadows in the room had grown from being so close to the light Star was giving off. The shadows came off the wall and gave off a horrid evil red aura. "It'll take more than a nightlight like you to take these shadows out. Get her." The huge shadows grabbed at Star and picked her with their massive hands, like a child playing with a toy. "Just in case, I shall call my minions." She raised her hand and created something that looked like a dark portal. What came out of it were 6 large creatures that hunched over and each carried a staff. They were all different colors representing which element they dominated in. Some had darker elements than it anticipated.
"Makuto!" a familiar voice shouted. In came in was the Kopaku, Tahko, Matai, Hahko, Gahki, Onewo, and Pohata. They were all glowing, Kopaku was leading all of them. "Makuto! You made us travel half the world, only to find a copy of you, and end up coming around here again! Making a complete 360, just to find out you were here!" Tahko was obviously exhausted but still had spirit in her. "Louma?" Kopaku taken aback. "I was going to come back for your library, but if you're teaming up with Makuto, I won't hold back." "I'm surprised, you should have known it was a fake, Kopaku. Matrai would have found out quicker." "Shut up! Don't bring him up in a battle like this. This is for our sister's sake!" "My my, still touchy on the subject?" "No one asked you!" Kopaku rushed at Makuto and swung her ice katana at her. Makuto's sister's are the only ones who are able to touch and hit her. Makuto dodged out of the way. Blinded by rage, Kopaku was grabbed by one of the shadows as her sisters tried to fight the hunched creatures and avoid getting blasted by their dark elements. "Not so tough now, are you little sister?" the shadow beings brought Kopaku down to her height so Makuto could talk to her face to face. "You lost the right to call me sister long ago!" Kopaku struggled in the grip. "Someone needs a time out, little sister. For an ice sprite, you have the spirit of a fire sprite." (Time to show everyone what a light protector is capable of. biggrin biggrin biggrin ) Star smilled at the demons as her feet liffted off the ground her arms started to glow with the rest of her body a light that could destroy any darkness. She rose up the grasp of the monsters sliding off of her as if she was air. Star rose to a certain point and then dissapeared the light going out and then reapeared behind Kopaku placing her hands on the demons around the girl making them burn up and shrivel away sort of like fire to a peice of paper. Her eyes still glowed and where white. She looked up at Makuto a face of pure anoyance at the moment with some exastion in it but you would have to look hard enough to find that. Louma's eyes turned red and he dashed forward behind Makuto he knew Star was coming for her next and that was bad. A light protector could kill anything with dark spirts/power it was in their blood but they got really exgsausted when their mind was that of a light protector and when you killed them they would dissapear. |

"Why did you help me? This is not your fight." Kopaku gasping for breath after being released from the monster. She stood back up and held her ground against Makuto. "No one interferes with me or Makuto. This is our battle."
"All right. Show me what you've been doing these last 173 years." Makuto pulled out a scimitar from the shadows. Kopaku lunged at Makuto, making a series of slashes as well as dodges. Neither one were holding back. "Kopaku!" Tahko shouted after her. "Back off!" she kicked down one of the creatures she was fighting that Makuto summoned. "Stay back, I said this before, this is our battle!" she grunted pushing Makuto back. "Not bad, for an ice sprite. Tell me, why have you been searching up for books on the shadows?" "Shut up! That's for me to know!" "Is it power you seek? Power to bring him back?" "I said, shut up!" Kopaku found an opening and stabbed Makuto in the shoulder. Makuto grunted in pain, but smirked. "If I die here, Matu Nua dies also." At that moment, Issa felt something stab at her sholder. There wasn't anything there to make the pain and nothing was bleeding, but it felt as thought she were being stabbed there also. "Agh!" Issa heard inside her mind. She could tell it was Matu Nua because she existed inside her. |
