The Dark Seeker's tale...

Earth used to be a peacful place, until the dark seekers arrived. HIdden in darkness in the deepest worst parts of town they all had a wish to be the greatest. The Dark master helped them to realize this by being one of the richest men in the town. He told them to make a stand and now they arrive. Soon after they arrived, riots broke out all over towns, as the dark seekers clamed their territory. Once they had choosen their territory they where ordered by the dark master to find anyone with the sign of a light protector. Once they found one they where ordered to make sure they where out of the way so the dark master could finally take over the earth.

The light protector's tale...

Eight kids hold the sign of the light protector in simple birth marks on their wrists. Four girls and four boys all picked to be the protectors of light. All of them just think that the mark on their arms is just a normal birth mark. How would any of them know they held the fate of the world in their hands. The only ones that know what they are, are the dark seekers themselves. While riots destroyed their homes and schools they all have to now fend for themselves. Somehow they must find each other and band together to save the world.

To normal people and other mythical creatures...

Everyone has been consumed by this dark fate and doesn't know what's going on but to them they are mad at the world. Most people start riots and others go to find help but help in nowhere to be found. They all start not trusting anyone around them. They start fights and pick on people that are just going down the street. To them their whole world has been plunged into darkness.

Rules.

1. Follow Gaia TOS please.
2. No killing a character unless it is confirmed by the person and then that person tells me.
3. I am not a stickler about spelling, because I am not good at it either, but please try to write more than one line.
4. You can't never get hurt so no god-modding and stuff.
5. Dark seekers can not kill a light protector, unless I say so.
6. If a light protector is killed that means they haven't been posting and the spot will be open for someone else.
7. Pm all profiles to me please. Title Dark seekers profiles 'I have lived in darkness' and light protectors, 'I have seen the light.'

Short bio.: She was created into the world with her element as ice, she didn't hang out with her sisters a lot because she was too absorbed into her village's knowledge towers (it's a BIG village) near the mountains where snow falls often. She studied all the other elements except light and darkness because they didn't have any information about them except the legends. She soon was one of the elites and made into one of the village guardians for being the strongest and the smartest in the village. When she finally met her sisters, she didn't like them except the water twins and the air sprite, but she grew to be around them. She soon fell in love with one of the other guardians( Matrai) and they became engaged. Soon after that, Makuto (when she was evil) "seduced" him away and Kopaku threw away her feelings for anyone and became cold to anyone she met until the day Makuto told her the truth.

[Raccoons Should Fly]

Javert leaned against the wall in an empty alleyway, inconspicuous due to his youthful appearance. People had a great difficulty guessing his age, the most accurate of which landing somewhere between sixteen and nineteen. Still, this was to his advantage when he went out like this to scope his territory and even the territory of others for the Light Protectors. His face emotionless with the customary wear and tear of hardship, Javert could be mistaken for the pitiful orphan many would say he should have (in all morality) become.

Kasha slipped out of an abandoned walmart, a few cans of food in her hands. She used to wrok at that Walmart, and had hidden the food when the dark seekers first showed up. She slipped the cans into her coat, so they were not easily seen. She had no desire to be attacked for having food, when so few did. She started down the side walk, keeping to the shadows to make her way back to the old apartment building she'd been hiding in.

[Raccoons Should Fly]

Javert tilted his head a little to follow the progress of some footsteps near him. One person, either nimble, small or both, he thought to himself, playing with a switch knife he had been carrying to clean his nails. He subtly slipped away from his corner to follow the footsteps. His time as a seeker had trained him that his targets usually travelled alone, the smart ones anyway. In any case, it would at least be mildly interesting. Javert was very much a person to follow his instincts, and thus disappeared into the shadows by swiftly dissipating like crimson smoke- that was how he was usually classified as wraith-like.

Kasha shivered, and glanced over her shoulder. She felt like someone was following her. She slipped down an alley way, a short cut she'd found to her place. Most people tended to avoid the alleys, thinking people were in there waiting to attack them. But it was this group thought that made most alleys completely empty. So Kasha used them quite frequently, they made excelent short cuts.

Miranda got out of her bed and streached walking out from behind the counter she switched forms so that she was walking on two legs. She then grabbed the cape from the stand by the door and slipped it on. The last person that had owned this place must have been moved real fast because most of the food and clothes was left behind. She slipped out the back door and stuck to the shadows as she took a walk.

Javert's not-dead-enough eyes saw his quarry for just one second, as she took a glance over her shoulder. Time to less careless, he thought to himself, with a tone so apathetic it almost sounded sarcastic in his mind. He travelled entirely in bursts by dissipating into the crimson smoke, his experience and methods making it highly improbable he would be caught. Javert was considering whether to merely mark out wherever he was going as a point to monitor more frequently or to simply invade now. Javert liked it when the people he followed grew paranoid. Sometimes he stared at the back of peoples heads for hours, just to see if they would ever turn around. If they didn't, cause enough to kill.
