Alyxx Thorne
Singer/Waitress

Momma never taught me how to LOVE, Daddy never taught me how to FEEL, Momma never taught me how to TOUCH, Daddy never showed me how to HEAL!

Alyxx couldn't locate the woman and just took her schedule into her own hands. After delivering drinks to the patrons she hopped up onto the stage to sing. The band ran through a few soft and slow numbers and she swayed along to them keeping her voice airy and soft to draw the crowd in closer to hear better. After 'bye bye bluebird' she tugged the microphone back a little and gave the band a signal for her next song. The guitar played softly then the drums joined in along with the bass. The song seemed slow at first until you got further into it. 'Zombie' by The Cranberries was a favorite of hers to sing. Her voice was just raspy enough to fit the pitch needed for the song. After 'Zombie' She sang 'King of the World' by Porcelain and the Tramps. That song always made her feel more bold and confident about herself. It made her want to dance around the stage and go Jessica Rabbit on the audience.

After that was done someone else went up to sing for a while giving her a break. Grabbing the notepad out of her back pocket she jumped off the stage and weaved her way to the tables to take down orders. She flushed a bright pink when one of the more tipsy patrons gave her bottom a smack as she was leaving. She scurried across the floor like a hellhound was chasing her while the man laughed. She gave a slight scowl as she reached the bar but she brushed it off letting out a whistle to grab the bartenders attention. "T-three coke and rums for table two, a margarita for table six, t-two appletinis for table three, and a-a raspberry vodka cooler for table nine please" She spoke checking off the drinks on her notepad as they were placed onto the tray. Placing the notepad back into her back pocket she lifted the tray up onto her shoulder before she took off through the crowd to the tables. Avoiding the dancers was too easy and she was through in a matter of moments placing down drinks and calculating costs onto bills in her head.

The regulars had tabs, newbies had to pay up front. Everyone knew that. Newbies had higher dine and dash rates if given the option of having a tab. She hummed along with the singer on stage while heading back to the bar. She took a seat and placed the tray down. Beaming brightly at the bartender she playfully batted her eyelashes and chuckled. "Can I have a water please barkeep?" She hummed quietly while fiddling with the dangling bead that was on her collar. She quickly eyed up the people at the bar and smiled. All three were regulars to Styx N' Stones. Torres, Lucie, and Nakita. Here at least once a week if not more. Downing her water quickly she thanked the bartender and went back into the fray to get more orders.

Momma never set a good EXAMPLE, Daddy never held Momma's HAND, Momma found everything hard to HANDLE, Daddy never stood up like a MAN!

Out.Of.Chords:

How do you love someone without getting hurt?
How do you love someone without crawling in the dirt?
So far in my life clouds have blocked the sun,
How do you love, how do you love someone?

Listening to the other customers, not too many of them looked to friendly to each other. Most small groups just satellite around the stage to listen to the performers. While most were hooting and hollaring at the you waitresses. The employees in the club were kinda and catered nearly all of your needs.

Torres lifted his glass to the young energetic waitress. Her enthusiastic work ethic around the bar made him smile at the simpler times. Reaching inside his pocket, he pulled out a cigar and lighter, looking around, he must've left his cigar cutter in his jacket that he handed off earlier. Taking another drink, 'I might end up staying out longer tonight.'

On stage was another singer, but she was singing more modern tunes for the audience, he didn't care too much for her voice. Not many of the performers were A class performers, but Torres had the patient and expectations to wait for the one singer that'll make the night perfect.

Arthur was drunk, as it is his tendency to be. He'd just been tossed out of his favourite bar for being quite rude to the new bartender, which was also not a surprise. He tugged his jacket around himself a bit as he focused on not tripping over his feet. That was a challenge. He scratched at his face for a moment and grinned. The night was still young(ish) and Arthur still needed to meet his quota. A rather bright light caught his eyes as he was shuffling along and Arthur narrowed his eyes. Certainly seemed promising...

He sniffed and straightened out his jacket, smoothing the wrinkled collar of his shirt as well before he crossed the street rather precariously to reach the bar. He had no idea why he hadn't seen it before, but he quickly attributed this to the fact that he was always drunk. A few words of flattering, a wrinkled five dollar bill, and a promise to not drink and drive got Arthur into the bar without much trouble, which Arthur thought was very nice of the bouncer. He liked the bouncer. Arthur glanced around him as he stood in the doorway before making a rather crooked bee-line to the bar. Upon reaching his destination, Arthur slammed his hand down, grinned broadly and declared quite loudly, "I'll have a gin and tonic at your leisure!"
