La'al regarded the stranger carefully and felt her fingers twitch for her garrote. Perhaps it was habit. "I don't honestly believe you require for me to tell you where I was intending on going." La'al had heard of people with the tails of animals and what they really were, something her father once or twice mention; zodiac something or other. For a zodiac she didn't look very intimidating, yet something about her commanded respect, and while La'al was weary of strangers sneaking up on her she also wasn't stupid. She looked to the path Tsuki had taken and then back at the woman calling herself 'Ryoko' "She is... interesting." The thought struck La'al as uncertain thoughts do when one is nervous, that perhaps Ryoko had been very aware of not only the situation that had transpired but the orders that had preceded it. Had she seen whatever it was that had taken over La'al temporarily? The last thought worried La'al the most. Yet, Ryoko said nothing to let on that she had any idea of the thoughts rolling around in La'al's head. "What a queer creature."

La'al decided that it was in her best interest to follow Ryoko when she had mentioned bleachers to observe the events. If La'al's father had decided to make a reappearance then in a large crowd was probably the best place to be. La'al nodded to Ryoko and bowed her head slightly making the motion for Ryoko to lead the way.

Both Daitaro and Kei couldn't help that they were underestimating Yui. It was usually one or the other in this world. Either the prodigies were strong or underdogs rose to the occasion. Daitaro was an underdog, and Kei was a prodigy. Yui didn't quite seem to fit into either category. She was one of the rare Nomburu, did that make her a prodigy? She had to stay in Zero, and even Kasumi's shadow all the time; so, did that make Yui an underdog? Either way Daitaro and Kei both couldn't really see Yui being that much of a threat. Though in Daitaro's eyes this was for the best. He just did not want the poor girl getting hurt. Even though he did not say it he really was beginning to fall hard for Yui. She was always so supportive of him. Daitaro grew up making himself out to be this big bad a** when really he was nothing, he was no different than anyone else. The moment S-Jutusu came into his life he still had to work hard at it, and even then did not get the results he wanted. Though she was always there cheering him on every step of the way. Daitaro appreciated that, and that is why he really adored Yui.

"Fool, you don't have to honestly answer that."
Kei stops Daitaro from making himself look like an even bigger fool, and just before Yui began to speak. Yui goes on about how Daitaro shouldn't worry about her. Daitaro stared at Yui, still not getting that she was implying the level four thing. Eventually he narrows his eyes and grunts. Crossing his arms Daitaro looks away and says,"What the hell? Ya in love with the guy or somethin'? Hows about you go fight side by side with him!" Daitaro blushes and shakes his head. Geez, bringing up that guy at a moment like this! Kei couldn't help but smirk at the two. They were utterly hopeless. Kei made no real comment about the ice prison that rose around them, she just rose her own blade and slashes forward with it, causing most of the ice around them to shatter. "Why do we have to do such a stupid thing? Humans really think they're something.",Kei gives herself a laugh.
The Nezumi turns to everyone and smirks.
"Why should one of the weaker humans here get to decide what we do? It should be the strongest of the angels who decides!"
Kei gently brushes her prominent bang to the side, only for it to fall into place once again. She smirks before making her declaration.
"Hell, you could all just come at me. First eight to even get close to a hit should be considered for the next round."

"Why the hell do ya gotta be the center of attention!? I'm the number one bad a**! They should all try to hit me!"
If that were the case they could just oil up Tsuki and have everyone try to catch her. That would be a real challenge. "Fine...lets just fight it out like he wants." Why could they not just decide amongst themselves? Kei draws her blade and extends it to a number of people in the cave. Firstly she points to Saito,"You...you've improved exceptionally recently. I'll fight you." She then points at Sakuya, smirking as she does this of course. "Rabbit, I want to see if I'm immune to illusions yet. I was working extra hard at toppling the Rosette fighting style." She knew how to handle just about everyone except Rosette's and Koneko in terms of bloodline traits. Lastly, she looks to Yui. Now this is who she was serious about. The other two were more just for shits and giggles. This one was completely serious.
"My humans wench...that should make for an interesting fight, ne?"
Kei was really on a power high recently. The girl must have been hiding something.

Demetri laughs, and shakes his head. “No wonder the other Fallen are so afraid of you! You’re wonderful! Powerful, determined and intelligent to boot! It’s like Christmas!” Christmas? What the hell was this guy talking about? Why bring up Christmas in the middle of a world-altering tournament? “You do have a point, the fallen that are bound to show up know of your power, and I am sure that they too will accept your reasoning. I just hope this doesn’t mean you’re planning on getting rid of me, does it? After all the good times we’ve had?” He wasn’t serious, the gleam in his eyes was obvious. Sure, he wanted to go to the finals, and if he didn’t have to waste any energy doing it, so much the better.

"Az-san...you're the reason we're not on Earth."
Satan says apathetically as he looks to his comrade. The guy was itching for a fight and he could tell. Maybe if the Fallen race acted much more civilized about the way they did things and showed that they could coexist with the other races they wouldn't have to dwell hell and illegally walk the Earth. But Fallen like Az are exactly what the Angels feared to let near the Mortal Plains. Demetri was a candidate for that same position of course. Though he seem to be easier to persuade into using common knowledge.
"Let's just wait for the others. Then I guess we'll decide."

Genichirou grimaced as he felt not only Saito, but Daitaro and Kei and all of the other human and angel teams arriving. He felt them moments before they walked into the chamber, and he didn’t have much time to think, let alone act. He wanted to win, but he wasn’t about to sacrifice his friends and allies to do it. This was one instance where he wasn’t going to do anything in his power to win. The 8 needed to go onto the next round needed to be the last ones left standing, right? There was an easy way to solve that without hurting or killing anyone. He just hoped it worked as well as he was thinking.

Rite of Cold Control Number 68: Crystal Prison.” As he spoke, cages of thick crystal would surround everyone in the room, including his own team, and himself. He had no choice but to not be picky. He wouldn’t allow anyone to get more hurt than was necessary. “I am sorry everyone, I know everyone has their reasons for being here, and they are no less dear to me than they are to you. For that reason, I have created these prisons. They will easily shatter if you can overpower them. Those that cannot free themselves from the prison will not be injured, and those that do release themselves will have the chance to move onto the next round. I am sure the Fallen teams are even now deciding who to send through, through whatever means they decide to.” He closed his eyes, and took a deep breath. “These prisons are not tied to my stay signature, so I am as much a prisoner as you. Do not think that I am being partial to any one particular team, for I am not. This is the only way I can think of resolving this that will be fair to all.” He was sure that himself, Kei, Daitaro, and Saito would make it out, but he wasn’t sure who else could, or would. Genichirou seemed to like to take matters into his own hands, didn’t he? And where did Tsuki get Apple guy from?

Toshio was more than willing to go through with whatever his brother had planned. When he saw the ice cage raise around them he couldn't help but feel at home. Ah the cold air around him. It nipped at his pale skin in the most pleasant of ways. Now he was ready to fight for sure. This is when someone enters that looks...exactly like him. Toshio freezes up completely and just stares. He doesn't blink not once, just stares directly at his duplicate. Though they did look a bit different. You see Toshio's face was completely apathetic and his hair was styled a bit different as well. Toshio continues to stare before looking over at his brother.
"I'll fight him."
Tears ran down Maggie's face, was Toshio that fine with fighting his duplicate? Maggie herself couldn't bring herself to fight the closest thing to her that was there. There was no way she could attack her little sister, Midori.

"Hmm,maybe we should hear the tattoo guy out first."
Touji suggest looking at Genichirou's ice cage. He had some sort of plan in mind for it, right? A way that they could fairly decide who moved on and who didn't. That was worth hearing out, or at least Touji thought it was. Harinezumi on the other hand just wanted a fight. Her hair began to spike a bit and she smirked. Stepping up, the girl takes a place next to Yuu and starts pointing out random people. "Leave him to me! No, wait, her! I want her! I'll take em all!" It was the least intimidating thing a person could do. At least someone of Harinezumi's stature. Touji sweatdropps at this, he was beginning to think he should have just been the captain of their team.

[[lol I'll start using the main protagonist from Shin Megami Tensai Devil Survivor. He was modeled after the Persona 3 main protagonist, so now Toshio and Yuu look similar without being the SAME character. xD]]

"Hmph, coming to your own angels aid? Who is the guardian here?"
Zero thought that he had the last word as Kasumi consoled her poor angel. Things turn out very differently than Zero thought they would. Kasumi turns to Zero and gives him a swift slap across the face. Zero stands there with his eyes widened as Kasumi begins to tell him off. Sleepy and Mimi both stay quiet as well as this happen. Killua was the only one who seemed to be the least bit chill about this. He was smirking the entire time. Bout time Kasumi stood up to Zero. Would he ever do that against Kei? HELL no, and it never once crossed his mind either. As Kasumi finishes what she had to say Zero's eyes returned to normal. He turns his head only slightly to look at her. His eyes narrow, and on impulse he steps in at Kasumi.
Striking her with as much force as he could. It was easily enough to send her to the ground.

Killua, Sleepy, and Mimi all stare with widened eyes. Following Zero's action he himself shows some surprise. His eyes widen and he stares at his palm for a bit. This of course doesn't last long as Zero begins to speak,"Fine, if this is how it's going to be. I'll get stronger even without you." Zero turns away from Kasumi and sighs. The long haired male shakes his head before beginning to speak again. "I really thought that you could make me stronger than my father. In the end all you did was bring me to his level, goodbye Kasumi." Just as Zero is about to leave he hears a scream. One that was a female, but not Kasumi. He turns around and sees Mimi clutching her own head, and tears welling up in her eyes. Sleepy and Killua both go to her side trying to see what was wrong with the girl.
"Mi-chan? Is something wrong? Mi-chan? Please Mi-chan...speak to me!"
Killua understood why Sleepy was reacting this way. Sleepy did love Mimi after all.

"A-always...i-it's a-always been like this the entire time..."
In Mimi's head she was seeing memories that she did not think were her's. THey were in her head, but she did not remember experiencing any of that stuff. A pink haired girl with a strong bond to Kasumi, and Tsuki. "I'm always depending on Kasumi-chan...she's always rescuing me...and when I try to do it for her this happens. I really haven't gotten any stronger at all." Mimi screams all this and cries insanely hard. Was the moment asking for her to cry this much? It probably wasn't, but she was experiencing the feelings of another person. Sleepy was trying his best to be there for her, but he could not make her feel good at all. Mimi jumps off and flash steps away. Sleepy grunts and gets up,"Wait!",he makes an attempt to chase after the girl. This left, Killua, Zero, and Kasumi. Awkward much for Killua. He sighs and looks to Kasumi,"I'm going to go help Nemui-kun." Killua too takes his leave. Now there was only Zero, and Kasumi.
Zero scoffs and prepares to leave. He wasn't even going to

BGM:Zero and Kasumi's Gift
"Mama? Are you okay? You look kind of sad..."
A young voice speaks out to Kasumi. The voice itself sounded no older than Tsuki's. In fact it sounded younger, but that might be because Tsuki's voice was quite rough for a girl her age. Zero's eyes widened when he saw what was behind Kasumi. If she were to turn around she would see a bright light shinning just behind her. Slowly the light begins to take on the shape. The shape of a young girl. After coming into existence she falls to her knees aside Kasumi. Zero looks away with a small blush. Anyone who showed up that way was not normal, and traveling by light did not seem like someting clothes could do. The young girl was nude to boot. Obviously she was not filled out enough to be Zero's type. She examines Kasumi for a small bit before giggling and gently kissing the spot where Zero hit her. "There you go mama...all better..." She then turns her sights to Zero, and giggles when she catches him trying to look away. "Papa is worried about mama too!" Zero just grunts, and with that he steps forward to leave. Though he does not get far. That small girl who had come from nowhere jumped up and grabbed Zero by his wrist, and prevented him from leaving. She tilts her head lightly and pouts.
"Papa is so sad looking right now...why is he leaving? Mama and Papa both know it's better when you stay together."
This girl had come from nowhere and she was trying to calm the tention between the couple. Who was she, and more importantly where did she come from? Around her neck was the only clue of who this girl was. It was a collar intended for cats.
It read "Tsukiakari".

Tyreal shook his head at Hideki. He had never even heard the term before, or if he had, it was buried in his mind somewhere. “No, Resonance does not ring any bells, although I am interested in what it may mean, if I am to help in the defeat of my brother. Tell me more.” Tyreal wasn’t the type to mince words

"The fusion of two souls to reach a new level of power..."
Hideki explains it simply and clearly in one word. There was a whole other fighting section in the library of S-Jutsu. Sure most people fought with Spirit Arms, but there was also the Resonance style. It contained just as many levels, and could even reach powers beyond the hard to reach level four. Though Resonance could be tricky. "Need any more elaboration than that? Because I thought I made it as simple as it can get.",Hideki says with a cute smile. He looks back at the screen and sees the situation going on with the heroes in their arena. Hideki groans and can't resist the impulse to call Daitaro an,"Idiot...you're going to blow your power before the finals."
Maybe that is exactly what Cipher wanted them to do.

Tsuki was staring blankly at Saito even as they made it into the room. She glances down at her own arm and begins to lick her wrist. Would she taste good to him? Whatever the case she was meat so she wouldn't even wanna try herself! As if she was going to let Saito try her. Tsuki stops thinking about herself being a meal and takes time to look around at the other people there. Upon seeing Kei Tsuki's face lit up and she felt like things were only going to get more and more interesting from this point out; still, Kei and Tsuki had a rivalry going and were trying to see who learned more in that shot period of time, trying to see which one of them would go the furthest. When Genichirou encloses them all in an ice prison Tsuki blinks and narrows her eyes at the man. She looked made for a second but then her head chibifies and she tilts it.
"Apple dude, how do we get out of here?"
Why did Tsuki call him apple dude? Well it was simple really if you think back to Genichirou's first meeting with the boy. They had met at a pie shop during the Human Resistance Arc. There Rax and Kasumi were taking Tsuki for pie, and she was overeating. Genichirou suggested that she eat an apple instead of eating so much pie. Forever Genichirou would be known as the guy who got in the way of her pie day, and tried to give her an apple.

"What the heck? Who are you to decide how we're going to do this? It's simple, we'll just do the logical thing!"
Midori barks at Genichirou, Maggie winces when her sister did this. She always got nervous when Midori showed her more dominant and rather fiery side. Midori was much like Tsuki, but with logic. Not only did Midori introduce logic into Tsuki's type of attitude, but also brought to it a coldness that Tsuki couldn't make no matter how hard she tried. Midroi didn't dislike Genichirou or anything she just felt there was a better way they could do this. Midori sighs a bit and crosses her arms. She licks her tongue out and begins to roll it. This of course was Midori's tell tale sign of thinking. Everyone who knew Midori should know that by now. "We can just pick the strongest eight of us. We already know that Kei is going to pass on, and so will Daitaro, and Saito. That is three spots down already. Lets just decide on the other five appropriately." Tsuki looked over at Midori and rose an eyebrow. Midroi then glances at Tsuki and shakes her head. "Sorry Tsuki, we have to make sacrifices. That is going to me Seki, you, and I have reached our limits." Right now they were the youngest, next to Kei, and the most inexperienced. They were not all prodigies like she was after all. Tsuki grunts a bit and drops to the ground, crossing her legs and pouting cutely. She was giving MIdroi the cold shoulder.
"It's already cold enough in here..."
Midori sweatdropped as Tsuki's shoulder comically iced over.

"We can't decide just yet."
Seki speaks out against Midori and pouts. Midori grunts and looks over at her bff. Why should they wait? There were more than enough able people for the finals in this room alone. Seki blushed a bit and looked to the ground. She begins to smile as she mentions that person's name,"Dusk-kun...he still has a shot, I can feel it." Tsuki's eyes widened, as did Daitaro, and Kei's. They all look at Genichirou and Midori. Daitaro smirks and declares,"We have to wait for Daitosuke. That little brat can't win my little sis's heart if he isn't able to fight his way here to the finals, ya know?" In unison Kei and Tsuki both say the same name. Knowing that this person had to make it no matter what,"Sakuya is still on her way!"
Midori sighed and scratches the back of her head. Waiting was only prolonging everything, but if they needed to wait than so be it.
"This really is the hardest part." Tsuki's expression softened even more from when she had spoke of Sakuya. She giggles a bit and stands up off the ground. Dusting her behind off she puts both hands on her hips, and grins cutely.
"Clopas...has to make it too."
She really wanted to see him make it to the finals, she was curious to see if he had gotten better. Maybe that feeling was growing in Tsuki too. She wanted to see if he could impress her. Even if she herself didn't understand it a very female thing was going on in Tsuki's mind. Or maybe she just wanted him around for a whole other reason.
Whatever the case Tsuki wanted to see him there.

"Tsuki-chan...nah...she really doesn't know what the definition of subtle is..."
Sakura then sweatdropps at her own comment. Of course Tsuki didn't know what subtle mean. She did not know what half words that anyone said meant. The girl was illiterate! She couldn't read cause she always spaced out in school. Don't blame her. The girl's mind was mostly filled with thoughts of saving the world, she had no time to worry about that kind of stuff! Sakura turns her attention to Arthur as he describes how this was similar to a much more horrible act. Sakura's eyes widen and she pales a bit. Having to kill one's own comrade. Sakura could not bring herself to kill, let alone kill someone precious. "How could anyone do such a thing...Arthur-san...did you have to...?" She would not think any differently of him, she was just curious as to his past concerning that.
Then again she was prying once again. Sakura gently hit's herself on the side of the head for asking such a thing.
By the end of this evening she was going to have a concussion if she kept that up.

"No...you're going to leave us behind. It's bound to happen some time."
Ace said as he ran along with Sakuya and Edgar. His voice laced with this hint of sadness. What did he mean that Sakuya was going to leave them behind? Well when girls got in serious relationships they were bound to change, right? The same happened to guys. Right now the Sakuya that they knew at this very moment was going to change to someone else. The longer she changed with Daisuke the more she would become his other half in a way. Ace and Edgar both liked this Sakuya, but knew that their time with her was limited. Edgar finally speaks up,"Though we can pretend that time will never come." Soon after that the team passes Daisuke, who is still standing outside the room. Edgar and Ace both give Sakuya this look as if asking if she was going to go over to him. Regardless both boy's enter and watch as an ice prison surrounds their comrades.
"What the heck did we miss?"

"Interesting, precious, inspiring, annoying. All of those words and many more work to describe that child."
Ryoko walks towards the bleachers, a hand on her hip and a stern look on her face. The woman was never seen with much other than that look of utter seriousness. Ryoko was a straight to business kind of gal. Hard to believe she was Tsuki's current sensei. That little tike, for as short a period as La'al knew her, was quite the ball of energy. Whether you have been for her for two minutes or five years you could tell that Tsuki was loud and insane. Ryoko had a hard time getting use to that, but did it for the sake of everyone. Apparently Tsuki had some kind of crazy destiny. Ryoko knew better than to question those higher up than her. She probably didn't do it because she herself did not want to be questioned. She wanted some damn respect, and the only person who didn't seem to give it to her was the one person she was training. Yeah that's right, Tsuki.
"Don't worry, your kind is prone to reacting that way when shown...well, kindness." Ryoko smirks some as she sees the bleachers just up ahead. "Not judging you Fallen it's just the way you are. When someone tries being kind to you the natural reaction is to push the hate from yourself onto them."
Ryoko stops walking and looks to La'al. "That girl is use to this kind of thing though." So Ryoko had seen La'al and Tsuki's entire confrontation. That entire meeting had been watched silently in the shadows by the Zodiac's Dragon. "You play beautifully by the way."
The two arrive at the bleachers.

Daisuke was still hanging around Dusk and his comrades as they await Daitosuke's return. He was sort of the defacto leader of this team for whatever reason.
"You're the dream of those two children, aren't you? The ones from another world."
Hikaru speaks quietly to Daisuke. Daisuke glanced at Hikaru for just a moment. He smiles at the blond man and nods. "So you carry the name of your father. To carry someone's name also means to carry their burdens. Do you have a name of your own?" Daisuke doesn't answer and instead gives Hikaru this somber look. One that Hikaru could understand quiet easily. The blond man stops being cryptic long enough to cling to Hiro. "Well welcome to our party! Since Daito-kun is no longer here we need four to complete it! You're just in time~", Hiro grunts and tries to break away from Hikaru. This guy, ever since the Academy he had been like this. Some things never changed. Daisuke chuckled some, either they were a couple or just very close. Whatever the case he wouldn't treat them any differently. After all, they were quite famous themselves. While Daisuke may be the destined son of two long departed souls, Hiro and Hikaru were the weapons of a light warrior, and a chaos warrior from long ago as well. Why they never told their story, everyone knew the two had been through tough times. To keep the pain inside for the sake of others.
It was both really weak, and very commendable at the same time.

"You should care, whether she is your sister by bond, or by blood...she is someone precious to you."
Daisuke looks over at Dusk and smirks a bit. "Siblings can be some of the most precious people...you shouldn't take them for granted, no matter how close you are at a particular time." Then Dusk goes on to say who his true brothers and sisters are. This causes Daisuke to chuckle some. He moves a hand through his sexy hair and sighs. "Those are the kindest kind of people...though Tsuki-chan does have an attitude to her. But that is what makes her so feisty." Daisukie smiles a bit talking to Dusk about Tsuki. She really was a joy to bring up. If it wasn't for her Daisuke may have ended up being killed, and in turn Jax himself may have been arrested. Tsuki had saved the both of their lives, and she probably didn't even realize it. Dusk goes on to say how the memories of now are what mattered the most and that he was forming bonds because of them. The cat boy could not argue how strong of a point that was. Dusk was a good fellow, Daisuke wondered why he hadn't talked to him before. Funny, Daisuke really only got along with other Akakos. Could that mean that Dusk was? Nah, there was no way. Maybe Daisuke was just getting better with people. Dusk goes on to joke that Hikaru and Hiro are his uncles. Hikaru chuckled and threw an arm over Hiro's shoulder, much to Hiro's own distaste. "Aw~ If you didn't have Usagi-chan as a mom I would want to be mommy, and HIro-pii here could be daddy!" Hikaru prods at Hiro's cheek the entire time, Hiro just narrowed his eyes and grunted. Why the hell did Hikaru have to be so damn annoying. Hiro suddenly gets serious for real, as does Hikaru-but he still wears his smile.
"They're getting started. Where the hell is the kid?"

"Uhm...ma'am?"
Daitosuke only blinks when Dawn got in close near his face. He continues to blink his green eyes staring into her blue ones. Hm, she looked kind of familiar, but he couldn't put a finger on it. Well not like it would bother Daitosuke at all. He didn't care what someone looked like, because he knew everyone was there own person no matter what. Dawn suddenly shouts, hugging Daitosuke, and declaring that he looked like someone. Daitosuke just blinks and pats Dawn on the back. She soon moves away from him and apologizes for her actions. "It's fine, really. It's nice getting a hug. Especially from a girl like you. You look and act just like a princess.",Daitosuke smiled warmly as he sits there with Dawn, both on the floor cause she had tackled him down. "My name...well...it's..." Daitosuke stops and thinks for a bit. How should he answer that? With a soft smile he shakes his head and the answers,"Just call me Daitosuke."
Dawn then asks how she could possibly help him get his memories back as well.

"We can figure that out later Dawn-san. Right now though we have to make it back to my comrades."
Daitosuke offers Dawn a hand to get up. He smiles and then looks down the path. "Knowing them they are getting real impatient right now...so I can't take any chances..." If and when Dawn took his hand he would pull her up into his arms. Carrying her bridal style he warns her,"Hold on...this is going to be crazy." Daitosuke takes off running. While he was fast he wasn't going too fast. "We have to make it there...so I'll need some help from you Satoshi." Suddenly flames swirl around Daitosuke's feed, increasing his speed and carrying the two to the finish line. There they reunite with Hiro, Hikaru, Dusk, and oddly enough, Daisuke. Daitosuke doesn't take any time to say hellos, he rushes in with Dawn in tow to the final room.
"Sorry...It's hard to calm Satoshi down once he gets going."
Daitosuke sweatdropps as he finally stops running and is able to sat Dawn down.
He looks around at everyone and smiles. So many people made it.

Daitaro was taken by back the fact that Kei wanted to fight Yui of all people. He looks to his angel with a very confused expression. "Wait,"he insisted,"you don't really want to fight her do you?" Kei just looks at Daitaro with her lips pursed into a small smile. No answer to accompany such an expression. He grunts a bit and thinks for an alternative. Surely they could go about this with Kei not having to fight Yui. Daitaro's eyes widen a bit at the sound of a familiar voice. Not only that, but the prison around them shattered. Ice shards danced around in the air. Daitaro turns around to see what had happened. His eyes meet the pissed Genichirou who was now glaring at Kei. "O-oi, Genichirou...what the hells yer problem? Blowin' yup yer own prison like that?",Daitaro inquires with a beat of sweat running down the side of his face. He was really confused and just trying to make sense of the entire moment. Genichirou shows Daitaro exactly why he did it. The red headed ice wielder begins to ran about Kei. Telling her off in a very serious manner. Expressing his distaste for her, and not only that, but going as far as to say she would be surpassed by humans. To say those things to Kei let alone a Nezumi. Was Genichirou signing some type of death warrant? It was almost like he was committing suicide the moment he opened his mouth.
"Genichirou..."
Daitaro then turns to look at Kei and see her reaction.

Beautiful crimson eyes stare at Genichirou. He was the center of Kei's gaze at this moment. She did not look the least bit offended by a word he had said. Instead of reacting towards the man she decided to stare him down. Who was he to talk to her like that? He was a no one that's what. She was going to show how much better she was than him by not reacting at all. He did not know what she had been through nor did he know her potential. Instead of getting bent out of shape because of what he had said she opts to asks him a question. "Tell me human, what is your stake in this tournament?" Kei's beautify eyes narrowed gently; her tiny brow going down and scrunching up her cute little forehead. "Tell me,"she speaks up yet again. She crosses her arms and turns her body completely so that she was standing right across from Genichirou. "Is it so that you can help the other humans? Compared to most here you should find it a lost cause for you yourself to be fighting right now." Kei was not going to be like Genichirou. Rather than getting all her rage out at once she was going to give it to him piece by piece. "Or maybe you're doing this assure a place in this team. Who are you to just tell me off when you know nothing about me? You want a spot in this team, but you can't even show someone of my level respect. Do you really think that you deserve to be precious to any of us here." Though Kei herself rarely showed respect she knew how to act accordingly depending on the people around her. Some people knew they were underneath Kei in terms of power, and they usually accepted it. Kei would make a comment about it here and there, but it did not mean she disliked you. In some of the most crucial times she had to save the asses of her teammates. She would continue to do such a thing if need be, and that went for Genichirou.
You could say whatever you want about Kei. She knew she wasn't the greatest person. She knew she wasn't Tsuki, but she didn't care. This is who she was, and you can take it or leave it.
Kei turns her back on Genichirou.
"Anything else you have to say?"

Demetri nodded at Satan’s words, and took a long look over at the entrance. “I wonder how long it is going to take the rest of them to get here. I’m bored.” Using that same aura that surrounded his hands, he cut chunks out of the wall next to him…
And began to juggle.

User ImageUser Image
"Who am I to choose how to do this? The only person in here that is actually thinking about what to do in order to advance!” He spat right back to Midori. “Choose? How do you plan on choosing, little Midori? Everyone wants to see someone else advance beyond here. Everyone here seemingly wants to wait on someone who they think should go on. What happens when everyone’s ‘special someone’ arrives, and there are more than eight people that ‘deserve’ to move on? What then, Midori? We don’t have the luxury of being picky or choosy, or for that matter, fair. This isn’t just a tournament for shits and giggles. This is war, and war is never pretty. Either you survive, or you don’t. You don’t get to choose your battles, they are chosen for you.” It was easy to see that Genichirou’s normally friendly and calm demeanor was out the window today.

Genichirou gave Kei an icy glare that seemed even colder than his powers. Releasing a wave of energy, he shattered all of the prisons at once, before standing. In an uncharacteristic burst of anger, he lifted his hand and pointed it accusingly at Kei. “Fine. I see this will not be as simple as I had hoped, all because of ******** Nezumi pride. I had thought that a simple test would have been enough, knowing that you would be able to easily break the spell. I actually counted on it. What I should have realized is that you are nothing but a spoiled rotten b***h that gets whatever she wants, because of her birthing. So you are a prodigy, big ******** deal! It simply means your power means nothing to you, because unlike the rest of us, you didn’t have to work a damn minute for it.”

As he glanced around the room, he knew the next words out of his mouth would be a death sentence, at the very least from Kei, and probably from Daitaro as well. “Your pride clouds your true power, and that is why no matter how many times you win, or how many Fallen you kill, or how many times you may beat me into submission, I will never accept you as the strongest. You are a disgrace, and I pity you. Saito trained hard to be as strong as he is, yet I do not see him blatantly announcing his power to the world. That is why he will surpass you. That is why your human, Daitaro, will surpass you.” He grimaced as he spoke the next words. “That is why, as much as I hate to say it, Zero will surpass you. They do not take their power for granted. If this was my decision alone, I would not permit you to pass. However, since it is not my decision, and you are the strongest, let us see how your tiny, power-addled brain figures out how to decide who will move on. Oh wait, let me guess, you have decided who will pass already, have you not? Enlighten us, oh great and powerful one, on how your mightiness has or will decide who will move forward.” As he spoke the last sentence, he mockingly bowed low before returning to the upright position, preparing himself for whatever was about to happen. Whatever it was, this was not going to be pretty, and he was pretty sure he was going to be badly beaten, if not killed outright. “Choose then, however you will, the eight that will advance. I’ll be right here if you need me. Oh wait, I forgot, I’m one of the weakest humans, so I probably won’t be needed, will I?” Turning his back on the rest of the group, he returned to the cross-legged position, and returned to his meditation, trying to calm himself, and turn his anger into focus.

Tyreal nodded as Hideki explained what a Resonance was. It was an interesting concept, and one that he would have to look further into. “That’s interesting, I will look more into that.” He noted Hideki’s attention shift back to the screen, and looked there himself, just in time to watch Genichirou fly off the handle at Kei. “That human is either too smart for me to comprehend, or very, very, very, VERY stupid for the things he just said, especially to a Nezumi.” He knew too well Nezumi pride, and Genichirou hadn’t just crossed the line, the line was so far behind him it didn’t exist anymore. He would be lucky to escape with his life.

"That man is a fool actually."
Hideki speaks up when Tyreal ask if Genichirou was either a fool, or a smart person. So Hideki gave the honest answer. Genchirou was no better than Daitaro, they were fools, but the best kind of fools, but fools nonetheless. "He let his anger get the best of him. While it is noble to speak out against some people it is also stupid to speak to people stronger than you like that." Hideki lowers his head and shakes it a bit. Looking back to the screen he narrows his eyes. "DaiDai has a chance of passing up Kei-san, maybe even Saito-san if lucky. Genichirou-san, and Zero-san I doubt obvioiusly." Hideki was staring at the screen, now it was specifically centered on Kei. Hideki cracks a small smile.
"That woman though, she is powerful and will remain powerful. Tsuki-san and Kei-san are rivals..and those two are the best kind of fighters. She won't let Genichirou-san's words change her."
After all, the only people who would get through to Kei were people who really had to struggle to get stronger, and that consisted of Daitaro, and Tsuki really.

BGM:Here to Stay
Midori rose an eyebrow when Genichirou began speaking to her as though her idea was the bad one here. She was trying to logically pick who should go on. Not just by their reason to advance, but the skill that they had as well. Sure MIdori was waiting on Sakuya, but that was not just because Sakuya had a reason to fight. No, Sakuya had tons of illusions and healing techniques at her disposal. If anything as pot in the finals for her was essential. Midori though was not going to argue with this guy. He was talking about how this was a war, but she wondered, was it his war? Midori just glances at him and mutters,"Annoying. We're all a team you dumb a**. You're the newest guy, right? Well shuddup and act like it. You're trying way too damn hard to fit in." Midori shoots him down, folding her arms behind her head. Maggie winced at Midori, but alas, she could see that her sister was right. "Just cause ma trained you and you're like dating my sister doesn't mean you can talk to me anyway you want. It's annoying."
Maggie was blushing at fit at what her sister said.

Seki winced a bit at MIdori's reaction to Genichirou, but this was how Midori was. If there was any of the girls who was right by Tsuki in terms of flipping out it was MIdori. She just had an attitude, and it was different than Kei's attitude. Midori holds up eight fingers and honestly answers Genichriou when he asks who should go on. "Daitaro is the strongest human in here currently. Kei is the strongest angel. Maggie is the Spirit Ambassador and despite her shy nature she is a machine if she really wants to be. Sakuya, her illusions are her families specialty. Saito, if anything else he'll serve as brute strength. When it comes down to power the next one who should go is probably you. You're the next strongest human after Daitaro, and Saito, aren't you? That leaves two spots, more than enough for any other precious people who have to arrive." Midori pauses and then smirks a bit at Genichirou.
"If Clopas, Doragon, Shiva, or even Daitosuke got here we'd have to reconsider though. Your position at least...", That would leave one, and that is exactly how many fingers MIdori had up. With a devious little smirk she voices her opinion.
"I'm the final spot. I'm the smartest one here and brains beat brawn any day...I've already located all the exits on this little ice sculpture of yours."

Though Kei had handled Genichirou's words quiet well it did not assure that this topic was just going to be dropped. There were some people who just could not stand by Genchirou saying such thing. Someone had to speak out for Kei's case. This someone came in the form of three separate bodies; Tsuki, Seki, and Midori had come to Kei's aide. All three young ones took a spot before their friend. Even though what she might have done was wrong Kei was still their friend. It was especially hardest for Midori, and Seki since Kei was only a bit younger than them. Tsuki also had taken the comments to heart because she viewed Kei not only as a rival, but a close friend, and sister. Neither Midori or Seki knew what to really say it wasn't their specialty to stand up and speech, but you better believe Tsuki did. She narrowed her sapphire eyes at Genichirou and spoke up. Letting him know exactly how she felt.
"The Apple man is an idiot, nya!"
Kei, MIdori, and Seki sweatdropp at how Tsuki started things off. Well this was going to be interesting now wasn't it?

All of the girls were very much offended by his language, but decided it was a mute point in comparison to some of the other things Genichirou had said. Tsuki had made the first move and called Genichirou an idiot. She builds upon this with her next words by telling Genichirou exactly how he was an idiot. "Does Apple man know a thing about Kei-nee's life? Has he ever talked to Kei-nee? Or has he always just seen her as some sort of title? She's always a Nezumi to you people, nya...but to me she is Kei-nee. No matter how many times she talks about being a Nezumi I remember that is the most important thing about her." Tsuki starts things off by saying that Genichirou had no idea who Kei really was. Had they ever interacted on any other level than comrades on the battle field? No they hadn't. So in Tsuki's mind it was not fair to just go and assume things about her. "Kei-nee was born with lots of power, even so she does not get everything she wants. I have seen Kei-nee struggle along the way. I've seen how hard it is for her. Could you believe that she had a harder time becoming a Zodiac than even me!?" Tsuki was born into her Zodiac position so it had been fairly easy for her. Sakuya, Midori, and Seki were all pulled out of the Academy to do it. Kei's story of becoming Zodiac had remained a mystery for quite some time.

While Kei was the next in line to become the Rat of the Zodiac she was much to young to take the position. When news that someone even younger than her was going to be accepted Kei was heartbroken. She took matters into her own hand and came to the Mortal Plains herself. There she unintentionally saved the life of Sakura, and Daitaro; taking care of a Forgotten that had tried to do them in. Because of her act she was permitted into the Zodiac as the youngest known member next to Tsuki. Though Kei thought it was no big deal to save those two humans she would have never guessed that those two were among the group of humans who sat smack dab in the middle of what was to come. Later that night Tsuki appeared and became Sakura's guardian angel.
Kei had directly allowed Tsuki and Sakura to meet. Because of that fact alone she became a Zodiac. If that was not working for the position, than what was?

"Kei-nee was born a prodigy, yes...but so was Mido, and Saku-nee too! A lot of the people around us are born prodigies..."
Tsuki looks down at her hands. She was the exact opposite of a prodigy. Her power was lower than most angels her age because of her birthing. Being half Angel and half Fallen led to weird birth defects. The girl could not even create a Spirit Arm. Even so, she kept working hard to grow strong along with everyone else. So if Tsuki, someone who had always been working hard, recognized you as a hard worker than it meant something. "No matter how strong you are there will always be someone out there stronger than you...Mary-sensei taught me that.",Tsuki clenches her hands into fist and then look back up at Genichirou. "In that sense no one is a prodigy, because everyone is weaker than someone else, nya. So everyone has to try their best to keep getting stronger! Everyone has to try, no exceptions, nya." Tsuki glances back at Kei who was blushing lightly, yet still tried her best to look cool. Crossing her arms, looking away, and scoffing here and there. Damn Tsuki for making her feel this way.
Tsuki giggled a bit at Kei and then turned back to Genichirou.

"TCH! Come on! Saito-baka ain't all that strong!"
Tsuki grins and rubs a finger underneath her nose. She looks over at Saito and winks,"I'm a lot stronger! I'm Mary-sensei's number one student!" Tsuki knew that Saito was stronger than her now, but one day she would surpass him. She would surpass all of them, and that is simply because of the way she viewed fighting. "Come on Apple guy! I flaunt my strength around, who cares, nya!" Though Tsuki strength wasn't all that impressive so people usually ignored her cocky attitude. "What I'm saying is it's not bad to be proud of yourself. You should never be ashamed about your strength...I love fighting very much, and I love to fight stronger and stronger opponents. Because of that, when I win...I want everyone to know. I feel so happy when I get stronger, and by sharing that happiness with everyone I'm sure that someone else can be happy too. Friends get happy through one another's happiness, ne? So what if it ain't humble! Nya, you've gotta be proud of who you are! OSU! Confidence is a big determining factor in a fight!" Tsuki grins and punches one fist forward. She brings it back and her smiles softens.
"At least that is what I believed, nya. You worked hard to get strong, and so did Kei-nee...you guys are no different, so don't yell at her. We're all friends here, we gotta watch one another backs!"
Tsuki grins and laughs.
"Or at least watch mine when I leave you all in the dust!"

Finally Tsuki turns to face Kei, she was not going to get off free without even the least bit of Tsuki scolding. "We're trying to unite with the Fallen...I don't get why papa's people have to stay in the underworld, nya. I don't think it's fair. I'm not fighting for either side really...in the end I want us to be equal, but not under any kind of bad circumstance." Tsuki folds her arms behind her head and laughs again. "We're not here to beat our opponent blindly in our fist. What's the good in overpowering someone. Our fights gotta be fun man! We gotta have a good time and show that fighting doesn't always need to be serious and sad...it can be fun and make you glad too! Nya, you have to send not only people who are strong with their fist, but "strong" in another way too!" Tsuki didn't think of electing herself for the one who could win people over by words. She herself believed that she was a good fighter, and it may not be one hundred percent true; but, a girl can dream can't she? She glances over at Sakuya. A prime candidate for someone who wasn't all that strong, but at the same time she was "strong" in the way Tsuki used the word. "Plus...I have to fight you in the end...so don't go ticking me off just yet...",Tsuki winks. Kei sighed before smiling at Tsuki and tussling her hair a bit.
"You're an idiot, Castistas." Kei laughed a bit with Tsuki before turning to face Genichirou. Her smile turned into a bit of a smirk.
"In my eyes you're not strong at all...but according to Castistas here you have a different kind of power. The kind we need in the finals. You're "strong"."
She crosses her arms, closes her eyes, and awaits reactions.
That was by-far one of Tsuki's most long winded speeches. Then again it would certainly get everyone on track for deciding who deserved to go on to the next round.

"So you're waking up..ah?"
Tama is greeted by the smiling face of Eve. The Nezumi was letting him rest his head in her lap. Now they were at the Bleachers where they could comfortably await the final round of the tournament. Eve had been alternating from watching the tournament to checking on Tama. After all being unconscious was no laughing matter. No matter how one looked at it. "Everyone is in the second round now. Only eight people are going to make it, I'm interested to see if Kei-chan, and Daitaro-kun make it." Eve giggles and turns back to watch the screen now that Tama was alright. Eve sighs a bit watching as Genichirou goes into snap out mode on her cousin. "Baka, doesn't he know that won't get through to a girl! He's gotta be gentler~",Eve says with an adorable pout.
"My, my, you know a lot about being a woman for someone so young."
An unfamiliar voice speaks to Eve. Slowly the girl turns her head to see a pineapple haired man walking her way. Not takes a seat beside Tama, and Eve. He smiles at them and then begins watching. "I myself am pulling for that scary lad...you know...Saito-kun." Eve blinked and then nodded. Yeah, Saito was kind of scary if you thought about it. Eve did not seem the least bit freaked out by Not's appearance. She was just enjoying the tournament with Tama. Plus there was nothing wrong with having an extra guest. They were about to get another guest, and this one was not going to be as pleasant as Not.
"Who the hell is that boy!?"
Suddenly Eve creates a portal on her lap, sucking Tama into it. This was just as a man with long silver hair slashed down on where Tama was sitting. His sword dug deep into the bleacher and he grunted. Not just whistled at the interesting entrance. "Daddy,"Eve pouts,"why ya gotta be like that?" Moments later Tama would fall out of a portal right next to Eve, opposite of Eve's father. The man turns and glares at Tama before looking to Eve, and taking her hand. He rubs it gently with hearts flying around him.
"I'm sorry my precious girl! Let me make it up to you! Lets go out for dinner! I know, I'll get you a puppy, don't you want a puppy?" Eve half lidded her eyes and snatched her hand away. Crossing her arms, she turns around with that cute pout. "Pathetic." The man drops his head in shame and defeat.
Surely you could remember this character from long ago, it was Gabriel.

Whoa! exclaimed the swordsman, as the prison enveloped around them. This really is a bit much... he muttered, while many speeches were spurted between Genichirou, Midori, and Tsuki, the latter being the longest of course. While they were talking, it dawned on him that he probably wouldn't be considered in the finals. It was all right though. As long as the right people won, he wouldn't really care. Besides, it had been a while.

What he did feel like doing was fighting that strange blue haired kid. It seemed as he had caught his attention, and Yuu smiled. His sword was already out. Come then, look-alike, he replied. Although Harine's sudden apathy break took him off guard. Take whoever. I already know who I want.

-----
Eight people, huh? Yah, I can't wait. I'll bet on people like...hm. he paused. It had been a while since he had seen all these people. Well, I'll bet on Daitaro-san and Kei-san...and maybe Tsuki as well. And maybe that Saito person that Yuu's fond of, he added randomly, when another guy came up next to them, watching. He wasn't sure why, but that guy seemed really familiar to him. Maybe Yuu knew him.
And then Eve's dad showed up, and Tama ended up going into some space before coming back next to Eve instead of on her lap. Ouchies! he thought, rubbing his head and looking at the strange guy. ...Eve-chan, who is this...?

Arthur raised an eyebrow ay Sakura. "I don't mind the questions at all. Really. I understand that you want to know. But we never had to do that. Mykka considered us way too valuable to just kill off like that. Not to mention that some of us would suffer psychological trauma from that. No, they were smarter than that. Besides, they conditioned us to be unflinchingly loyal, no matter what."

Arthur grinned. "I guess they failed."

"And they call me the violent one.." Saito stated with a sweatdrop as he witnessed full-on Kei arrogance. The boy also creates a soul stab and busts out of his own ice cage. "...Oh are you being serious? I can never tell whether you're being sarcastic or not, sorry," Saito stated with a weak chuckle as he rubbed the back of his head. The boy then listens as Midori begins to approach the situation logically. Of course, the result didn't sit well with Tsuki. The boy sweatdropps and begins motioning for Genichirou to stop after the guy went and flipped out on Kei. Surprinsingly he got a unusually chill response...for Kei anyways. On the other hand, Midori gave him a bit more of a verbal lashing. "Wow..brute strength huh? You make me sound like a gorilla or something," Saito sighed before raising an eyebrow. "Eh, Maggie-chan and Genichirou have gotten all buddy-buddy now?" The boy just chuckles as he listens to Tsuki's speech. Boy did that girl love to talk. "Fights have to be 'fun' huh? I remember when I had that mindset...Man, those were the days," Saito commented casually. It would be nice if those days could come back, but that just wasn't the case. Whenever he fought now, he fought with high stakes on the line. "Good job, you rival Kei in arrogance, Chibiko!" Saito called out as he gave a thumbs up to Tsuki.

"Ah..sorry about that..eheheh," Az replied as he poked his fingers together. The fallen nodded and squatted down before beginning to trace circles in the ground as he waited for teh other fallen to show up.

"...What he hell is this guy? Some circus freak?" Gokai stated with a sweatdrop as he watched Kelown and his brother exchange blows. The boy Koneko then clapped his hands together before pushing forward, sending a wave of flame crashing into his opponent's ice spikes. The boy then flashstepps, appearing above Kelown with one leg raised up. "Yea, and we've got our own agenda as well," the angel stated with a smirk as he came down at Kelown with a flaming heel drop. "So buzz off, would you kindly?"

Sakuya's eyes saddened at Ace's words. She knew they were true. "I believe it will happen. But at this moment in time I don't want to. You guys are my friends." She said quietly. She nodded in agreement with Edgar. She could pretend for now. But how long could she pretend for? She arrived with the others for the ice wall, and for Kei to challenge her causing her to give a whine, as seen in the lower paragraphs. She didn't want to fight Kei. She'd get her a** whoooped. They went on to arguing and discussing who would go next. Sakuya blushed a bit as her name was brought up as a definite. She sweatdropped at Tsuki. "I'm really not a prodigy..." She muttered but didn't say anything else. Well Midori gave what would appear to be the final group who would move forward, Sakuya looked at Ace. What about him? He was fighting for the same reasons. She had to move forward for Himawari and Satan. But could she leave the others behind so soon?

Yui's eyes widened and she shook her head at Daitaro. "W-w-what? I d-don't l-like K-kaiser-san t-that w-way. I c-care a-about D-daitaro-sama t-the m-most. K-kaiser c-came a-and c-confronted m-me t-that h-he f-found o-out." She tried to explain. Daitaro of course didn't get what she was trying to tell him. She sighed a bit. Maybe if she should him, then she would be able to convey what she meant. Yui looked to Kei. So full of Nezumi Pride. But Yui liked that. Kei was being true to who she was. Maybe it was a bit much, destroying the ice wall and all. Was that really needed. Of course Daitaro wanted in on the attention as well. How funny. They were eerily similar. Kei then started naming off the people she wanted to fight. Starting with Saito. Then there was Sakuya. The rabbit girl sweatdrops at her comrade. "But Keeiii..." She whined. She didn't want to fight Kei. Didn't Kei realized she had other things she was worried about. Finally Kei landed on Yui. Yui narrowed her eyes onto Kei. How was she to accept this challenge? Yui nodded a moment and bowed respectfully to Kei. "I a-accept y-your c-challenge N-nezumi-san. I-it is a g-great h-honor." She replied.

Daitaro was not happy with that at all. But they had other things to worry about. Mainly like Genichirou. He was totally trying to take command of this whole thing and like tell everyone off. What was his problem? Earlier he had been a b***h to Zero, now he was being a b***h to Kei! What did Kei even do to him? He started it with his ice wall thing-a-ma-bob. Really any point in that. This rambling had pissed Midori off who told him off. But most things pissed Midori off. Though she thought clearly on who would go to the next round. Of course Yui expected to not hear her name. She didn't mind though. As long as her precious people were fine and safe, then she was fine.

Kasumi when she finished telling Zero off couldn't believe that she just did that. Sure a lot she told him off but in a nice friendly 'bonding' type of way. She never really stood up to him just now. She couldn't help it! Just seeing him pick on Mimi. She wouldn't let anyone pick on Mimi, not even Zero. Especially after Mimi stuck up for her. Zero was also surprised with her actions. So surprised anger took over. On instinct he slapped Kasumi right back. Hard on the face. Kasumi stumbled back, but she didn't fall. She couldn't. That would be what Zero wanted. Her looking weak in his eyes. She would let that happen not again. Kasumi could see the shock in his face and didn't say anything. She wasn't planning on stopping him this time. She wasn't going back on what she had just said. But something else stopped him. A scream, Mimi's scream. Kasumi turned and saw her friend clutching in pain. Her eyes widened and saddened. Was Mimi really that sad?

Kasumi listened as Mimi said how she depended on Kasumi. This confused her a lot. She didn't depend on Kasumi. Mimi was quite capable. This sounded more like Mika. Now that really confused to Kasumi. "No you don't Mi-chan. You're strong and perfect." She tried telling the girl but it was no use. She ran off with Sleepy hot on her heels. Kasumi looked to Zero and Killua. This was awkward. And then there were two. Kasumi sweatdropped as Killua left them. Way to go Killua. "Mi-chan..." She was just about to go see if Mimi was ok. She needed to be with her friend.

Though a voice stopped her. A little girl voice. And who was Kasumi to deny a child. Though being called Mama was kind of weird. Kasumi looked behind her. And there was a light . A talking light. Kasumi should have known. Really she should have. But it got better when the light formed into, a naked little girl. Kasumi blushed and looked away. What indecency! Kasumi could only hope Zero wasn't looking. But she wouldn't put it pass the pervert. The girl comes up and kisses Kasumi's cheek. The blond older girl eye's widened. With a blush she touches the spot where she was hit. It was all better. "Well... thank you..." She replied. How does one react to such a thing. Kasumi blushed more when the girl stated Zero cared. That was debatable. Especially seeing how Zero attempted to leave before the stopped him. Kasumi was getting quite curious. "Eto..." Kasumi looked down at the girl's collar, catching her name. "Tsukiakari-chan, why are you here.... and without clothes?" She asked the girly. "And you keep referring us to Mama and Papa. We're not your parents. We're only kids our self."

"Annoying, that does sound accurate." La'al hadn't quite meant to say it, most people have a 'mental filter' The Fallen do not have such a filter. La'all however due to numerous... 'incidences' had long since learned to edit what she said before she said it. However, something about the child creature Tsuki turned her filter off. Reaching the bleachers La'al took a seat with Ryoko. 'Don't worry, your kind is prone to reacting that way when shown...well, kindness' La'al raised an eyebrow at hearing Ryoko's comment. "You say that as though you have experience with how it feels to be a Fallen." However, maybe Ryoko had a point. La'al knew nothing of real happiness, after all being raised with her father, real happiness wasn't a common virtue. Her comments lead La'al to a conclusion "You saw our confrontation." Her arms folded, head down and her lips pressed into a grim line. "And what else did you happen to see?" She was of course referring to her father, if La'al was going down, no harm in bringing others with her. But that she KNEW was typical Fallen behavior, misery does love a companion.

The comment on La'al's skill with the violin went on deaf ears, La'al knew she was good. No, she was the best. She didn't need some old curmudgeon to placate her.

"Words have no power to impress the mind without the exquisite horror of their reality."

BGM: Battle
Mizuki, and Mikomi react in the same way as they are caught by Larten's cards and brought to one another. Stuck in Larten's cards both girls try to escape. "It's useless Mizuki, we're stuck for sure..." Unlike Mikomi MIzuki refused to accept this. The spike haired girl lowered her head and began to grit her teeth. Slowly the power around her begins to swell up. She could tap into that power without letting it get the best of her, right? "I should be able to use it...it's inside of me so it's my goddamn power!" Mizuki's eyes fill with red and her Stay level nearly doubles. Though this looked like it could be good for them Mikomi couldn't help but feel weary of this. She hadn't seen Mizuki's dark side before, but had heard about it. If she went crazy here who was suppose to seal her back. Mizuki herself now had sharpened teeth to go along with those blood eyes. Her entire body was shaking around and she was trying to escape the card bonding. Suddenly her power shoots up again and she lets out a scream.
"You're in MY body! I control YOU!"

Whirrrrr
All of Larten's cards fly away from the two girls releasing them from the man's hold. Mizuki's eyes return to normal and she glances back over her shoulder to Mikomi. She could tell her friend was kind of scared; still, Mizuki would try to make the moment light for Mikomi and her sake. Mizuki gently takes Mikomi's hand and grins. "Come on! We got a fight to win." Mikomi stares at Larten for a bit before smiling and nodding. The two flicker out of sight.

Just as Lartne arrived to check up on his children two figures would appear in the air above him. Those figures belonged to MIzuki and Mikomi. The girls slap their hands together and lace fingers. They spin towards the ground hand in hand. Suddenly pushing their weight down they try for a double spear kick on Larten.
"Monochrome Beatdown!"
The girls create a new technique on the fly to fight Larten.
