The young commander looked at the one who lead the rebels with a grim face. "But we just moved here not to long ago..." He said thoughtfully. "Could it be possible we have a spy in our midst?" He asked curiously. More to voice the concern then to actually suggest it. He leaned forward and rested his elbows on the table while zoning out slightly and then smiled as a map appeared on the table before them. He looked over the 3D map with approval then looked back to her. "I am guessing you would rather wait for the second in command so you do not have to repeat yourself?" He asked her as he looked over the map to ensure accuracy.

As he looked over the map, his eye caught the name of his hometown. Once a beautiful land, perfect for farming or taking a relaxing vacation to, now a shadowless desert. A barren wasteland. Destroyed because of its alliance to the rebel cause. The Shadow keeper heard that they were giving out rations to rebel counterparts and he razed through the city and destroyed everything. Well, not him impeticular, but his army. He wasn't sure if the shadow keeper called for the anniahlation of his hometwon, But he knew that he wasn't sad about the loss of it. And to Tyson, that was enough. As he thought about his hometown, anyone else who was watching could see the battle take place over the once beautiful town and watch it slowly decay into the ruins that it now as pictured on the map.

Robert walked up to a small village's entrance and stood there for a few moments,his food bag was empty and his stomach was demanding food for itself while his throat was demanding water to parch it's thirst.Placing a hand over his stomach he stood there for a few moments as he looked about to see if he could spot any obvious building that served food and drinks but he didn't see any from where he was standing so he moved his hand back to his side and continued on his way into the village,Umemetika was rattling in it's sheath with each step that he took through the village.As he walked through the village he caught the scent of a bakery that wasn't too far off and his stomach started to gurgle even more as the sweet smell of fresh bread filled his nose and mind.Damn that bread smells good........I'm gonna buy some. Robert thought to himself as he quickened his pace towards the backing shop causing Umemetika to rattle louder due to his increase in pace and how hard his foot was hitting into the ground while his tattered cloak and the free ends of the cloth that he tied around his head floated behind him due to the breeze he was causing as he moved.The only thoughts in his mind were of how delicious the bread would taste as he stuffed it into his mouth and how refreshing the cups of water would be as he chugged them down after each loaf of bread.He pushed past a woman that was carrying an instrument that was also on her way towards the bakery,not even stopping to apologize to her he continued on his way towards the bakery,the rest of the world being rather non existent to him for his mind was too focused on nourishing his body to get his strength back for his next job that he hoped would pay better than the last few jobs that he had taken from the last town he had visited.Roberts auburn brown eyes were focused in on the bakery's old door,approaching it he brought his right hand up to push the door open without even missing a step or slowing down in the least bit he made his way inside and over to the counter where he started to look over the selections of fresh bread that they were offering at the time.

Electric blue eyes looked over at the rising sun before moving back to the fighting soldiers in the courtyard. The blonde watched, making notes of which men were weaker at different styles in comparison from the others. The general had woken before dawn, having to deal with the morning training session. The Shadow Keeper had gained more soldiers, and they needed to be assigned to the different squads. The lightning user sighed before shaking his head as he watched one soldier go flying back from an attack. Ryder had decided to use the training for both as a way of deciding the assignments and as a training exercise for his own men. The sound of his name being called pulled the general from his thoughts. A servant quickly saluted before stating, “The Shadow Keeper has asked for your presence.”

”Very well,” replied the general before shouting at his men, ”Continue training. I expect a report when I get back.”

One of the soldiers off to the side saluted in answer before going back to observing as Ryder headed into the keep after glancing up and noticing one of the other generals looking out. Black boots tapped across the marble halls as he headed with purpose towards the Keeper’s room, ignoring the hurried movements of servants as they started on their work. When he came to a pair of giant doors, the blonde knocked before entering when he gained permission. The lightning user moved forward, bowing his head in respect, as he stated, ”You requested my presence, Milord. Do you have a new assignment for me?”

Nuru smiled faintly as he replied, ”It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Shay. You may call me Nuru. As for these ruins,” He swept a hand out to indicate the rumble about them, a sad expression appearing and continuing, ”This once was a beautiful city, full of knowledge and many other things. Though many don’t remember what it once was.”

The recluse turned to lean against part of a column while Night began to wander slightly. The sky began to brighten slightly as the day began to wear on. Faint memories of the past flinted through his mind, and he could almost hear sound of children laughing as their parents wandered through the streets, checking out the different store fronts. A silent sigh escaped him before his head tilted to the side slightly. Night froze, looking off in one direction before moving towards Nuru. The dark haired man hummed softly, brushing a hand across the wolf’s head. He looked back at the blue haired woman as he pushed off from his perch. He bowed his head before stating, ”I must be going now. Though I would like you to know that should you ever require a listening ear or a safe haven, then you are welcome to come back. Though the city is not what it once was, Star City shall always be a safe haven for those that really need it.”

With one last polite smile, Nuru turned and walked away, Night following behind him. As his own footsteps faded, the sound of others came closer to the woman. It seemed Shay’s companions had sent out people to look for her.

Yiro, was looking down at the map his aura was one that spoke of violence if his requests weren't met. When he heard the knock he allowed the servant that had stayed to allow whom it was passage into the chamber. When he heard Ryder's voice he looked up from the papers and map layed before him. He waved Ryder over as a gesture for him to come over to him, before he pointed down at the map.

"I want you to go to this town, find those damned rebels and if they are adding thos rebels I want it shown a lesson they won't soon forget. Also if possible I want you to see if those heirs that had vanished are there too. I'm sick and tired of having my affairs meddled with. Do you understand this Ryder?" He looked at the commander his eyes piercing and fierce from behind the mask. "If none of the requests I have are found then I will have you march to the closest place to there. If they are found then I want you to deal with the problem and report back to me," He looked back over the papers before him as another knock was heard and another had entered the chamber. Another spy coming to report his findings on his other task, which he to had failed to find in his search.

"If you value your life spy....then you will leave if you have failed, if you haven't then speak," The spy halted in his steps before deciding to leave let Yiro know that he too had failed. "Do not bring me back failure Ryder......" And there was the dismissal, he didn't want to speak on the subject any longer then possible.

He also wasn't in the mood to deal with any more talking. Killing his subordinates would do much then lose him some mean that could do work. He was beyond frustrated since he'd already critically injured one of his men already, his temper wasn't one to be messed with and he really didn't like being questioned about anything. If he'd asked for an opinion he would have asked for one. He picked a dagger up off the table and slammed it down on the map where the town was a grin flitting across his features under the mask. 'They will fall....and they will fail....'

Shay listened to the man named Nuru silently her eyes watching him closely for any signs that he may be an enemy. When he spoke of the city now nothing but a pile of ruins she found a gentle side to his tone. One that showed that he was indeed kind and nothing more then a friendly person who was sharing something of the place to her. She glanced over at the wolf and noted that he had frozen in place listening to the sound of incoming foots steps of whom ever it was that was drawing closer. She sighed and knew exactly whom it was. When he excused himself with a few words, she noted that he did not wished to be there when they showed up. It only made her wonder about him even more, though she kept her thoughts to herself.

"Thank you....it seemes that I must go now, Farewell Sir Nuru," She rose from where she had planted herself.

Letting her limbs stretch a bit as rose from her spot, before slowly walking to the edge of the forest and onward. Traveling towards the sounds of footsteps, when she came upon them they informed her that the commander was looking to talk with her and the third. She sighed and followed the person back to base her mind wandering as she walked back. Once they were back to base she walked to the main chamber and found that the commander and the third were waiting there. They must have been waiting quite a bit, though she felt a bit sorry for making them wait. She didn't voice it however she did walk slowly over to a chair and silently sat down.

"You wished to speak Commander," She asked softly waiting to see what she would say.

Kana sighed, "I know, I know, but I don't plain to move this time. I tired of running and we must show the people that we will protect them, that we are real and not just a myth". She stood up and paced the room, knowing that something was really getting to her. "I wouldn't doubt that we have a spy, but then again there might be clues as well to us staying here". She then turned and watched as the second in command walked in. "Nice of you to join us, now please seat. We have to talk about our next move. I was given information that the shadow keeper is going to target this city believing that we might be here, but this time I feel that running away isn't right. I feel the need to attack them, but not straight on. We have wonderful ambush fighters and I would like them to meet the shadow soldiers half way and attack them, but I want to hear your thoughts on this. What are your imputs? I don't what my actions to be rash, but their numbers are growing out of fear and belief of the rebels being a myth".

Shay shook her head at her words, "The shadow keeper has been relentless and known to send more then one faction within a faction. If we attack them half way then there is a possibility that we would leave the village open for an indirect attack. But what other options do we have if we aren't running anymore. If we fight or met them then the chances of the village being involved will still be high. Knowing him he must have a lot of motives to pick this spot imp-articular and judging by past attacks on other villages he is definitely tracking us, but not just us imp-articular." she hummed as she crossed her legs and leaned back in her chair.

" We must think this through carefully one false move and we could jeopardize many lives other then our own." This situation was definitely a delicate one. Shay had seen once how the shadow factions worked, if they were lucky they would get Ryder, a command that wasn't as ruthless as people claimed him to be. "If we're lucky we could get the lesser of the three factions, but definitely stronger then the others.....Their commander works differently then the other two do and quiet frankly I hope its his faction we're dealing with. Then we might be able to go with your plan, but it will still have to high of a chance that the village will suffer." Shay really didn't want anything to go wrong. If they lay low and the men don't find anything then it is possible they might be able to stay and give them the slip. She was hoping that their Commander will make a right decision. They needed to protect the neutral city, for if they don't then they could lose another town that wasn't a part of any of this.

Raedoric stayed silent, listening to both of their points on the subject. He admired his leaders want to finally come out of the shadows. But at the same moment there was a fine line between courage and stupid heroism. The latter often ending in major bloodshed and a longer time to regroup forces and rally men to their cause. He divided the illsuionary map into three parts, and created the surrounding area of the city and the lands nearest to it in the exacts same way on all three layouts. He then created a scenario on each of the three, showing what each commander was capable of according to previous battle information.

"In any case as it is, I can take out at least half of their militia force by making them fight each other. Unless they carry an illusionist as well. But that is something I have yet to see." He contemplated different scenario's in his head, and the other two could watch what would happen by gazing at the maps before them. "I could use a fire illusion..." he said slowly, watching one of the armies start to burn in an imaginary fire. Little stick figures resembling the Star Keeper's army started to dance around trying to put the flames out. "But that usually leads to them figuring that one out quickly" He commented and the slate was wiped clean, the stick figures again resumed their in place marching on that map.

He turned his gaze to the second map and pondered some more as he watched the small black figures kick up small imaginary particles of dust into the air. "You guys may add things as you see fit. Just speak your mind, as soon as I hear what you have to say it will appear on the map as well." As if on cue, the second map started to crawl to life, those of the city started to pick up arms against the shadow keeps armies and were immedietly wiped out by the largely superior force. "We need to keep the people un-involved some how.." he said thinking out loud and erasing the carnage from the second map.

He rested his elbow on the table and then places his chin on the fist he had balled up. Not an unusual position for him to be in. Being an illusionist required one to have a strong thought process, and a very large imagination. "What if I could make us fighters blind to their eyes?" he suggested looking to them. "Its something I have been working on, and I am sure I could do it for a limited time. Time enough for us to have a major advantage"

Kana continued to pace back and forth, it helped her think better then staying still. "Yes thats why I don't want everyone going to attack the small army". She then stopped and looked at the two commanders. "That is one thing that I would to anything to avoid. I do not want the city to be involved". She then started to move around again as she watched the map and the examples that Readoric was giving her. She shook her head no, "no, you see this forest right here....." she said as she brought up the main map and pointed at the forest. There was a reason why she chose this city, it was because it was surrounded by forest and made a perfect cover for leaving with out being know or for hiding her troops for an attack. "Readoric I would like it if you would create creatures of sorts, but before they come I'm getting the spy to spread rumors about the forest and the beast with in. It wont scare any of the commanders, but the soldiers tend to be very superstitiouse" she said with a grin. "When you make your illousions, I want to have traps ready to almost seem like it was the creature taking them". "I want to pick them off as much as possible first, before attack head on".

Shay found herself thinking as she looked over the map and listened to their words, the only problem she had with the illusions would be the third in command would be spread thinly across the area. They had to be wise about using their powers and spreading one person could lead to holes and could lead to other complications in this plan. She thought some more and pondered on the count of rebels they had which in light of things wouldn't compare to the size of each faction the Shadow keeper had. Based of the battle experience she had the Shadow keep made sure to put as many wielders of elements he could in each group as well as regular troops.

She shook her head, "I don't think this plan of yours will work Raedoric.....We can't spread you thin, there is a limit to each of our powers and if It's a large group then you will be tired out long before the battle is even won. Remember our power isn't just something that can be called upon all the time. We have to have the strength to use it and without that strength we could start having holes opening as they arrive. Sure we could pick them off one by one, but remember this is the shadow keeper we're talking about. He's ruthless and able to cause more chaos then is necessary. Anything and everything could go wrong even with the carefullest of planning, and if we take this plan then we could lose many of our own, let alone cause another short sighted attack not long after we've fended off the first one. In which case if we show our selves then the village would still fall."

Shay was leaning forward now looking at the map, "And if what ever else the shadow keeper is after is here then it's possible the village will be doomed either way." Shay stood now looking down at the map thinking strategising the best way around these predicaments. Though the harder she though about this the more she found problems "Hmmmm....We could disguise our troops and look over the village, and if anything goes wrong we could surprise them.....Either way don't don't see how the village will not get involved. If we win the first battle a second would undoubtedly ensue soon after, if we use illusions we run the risk of forming holes in what he can do alone and cause problems that way, and if meet them half way then we leave the town open for attack.....remember these factions don't travel in the same size we do. We have very few troops compared to theirs. We could lose not only valuable troops but also the valuable citizens we're walking amongst. Truly I want to know what else draws him here but us....."

She looked to her commander then the third in command, "I understand the importance of all of this, but we are literally a thorn in the Shadow keepers side and he would undoubtedly send more troops out if he even had one ounce of evidence that we were or are here, in which case he would cause the town to suffer because he would accuse them of holding us here and keeping our presence a secret." Shay looked back at the map, "I suggest we hide...not run. We will watch over the town and protect it. If things go wrong we will fight the Shadow keepers troops to protect the people. If we all survive we move the villagers or whats left of them out of the town. I know for a fact the villagers won't leave without good reason too. Other then that I don't see a way that we could avoid the towns involvement, I would also like to scout the town....see what it could be the Shadow keeper is searching for besides us."

The young commander knew that his idea would not be a good one. But he also knew that in tossing out idea's at random, good ideas seem to be built off of them. As he listened to the two, their words created scenes on the map which once again was one full layout. He zoomed into the forest that his first in command was referring to and circled around it slowly with his mind. "That could work, but Shaedis has a point. If we stand and fight today, at what cost of the villages lives do we make our stand?" He asked her looking into her eyes."What you ask of me is not as simple as say a fire or quick sand." He looked to the map then back to her. "To fully create an illusion such as one you ask, I would not be helpful in a battle sense. To create so many animals, would require such a great deal of concentration. For if one animal was not right, and it were seen by one of the armies soldiers, my gig would be over that simply and the mens morale would be bolstered and we would surely lose."

He listed to the second in command once more and smiled "You're no fun" He commented when she said that he would be spread to thin. Even though it was true, he was always up for a challenge. But she was right. Too much came back onto the village if they were to proceed with such an attack. "I admire your courage. But we should not fight this day. She is right, the shadow keeper will send an even larger army if he were to find out that it was true we were hiding here. And no doubt that such a brazen attack on a small army of his if it were too succeed, he would no doubt send every man at his disposal, and possibly come himself to destroy this village. It would be like Valencia all over again" He said referring to his home town. "It would not be wise of us to fight this day. Our forces are too weak at the moment." He said slowly and carefully. He hated going against his leaders wishes, he wanted to stay and fight just as much as he did. But logic always won battles, and right now, they were still at a high disadvantage

Kana stood there and listened to the two. She liked how they put didn't just go with what she said, but weighed what would happen to the others around them, thats why she pick them as her commanders. "Good, good, I like the way your taking this. We will stick with your plan, but we must act if they start to attack". She looked at the two, filled with pride of how her two commanders are. "Now that we have decided on that, we should move onto another problem". "We need to talk to the heirs and try and get them on our side". "The shadow keeper probably has plans for them as well. I just want to get to them first, find out who they are and where they are" she said as she tapped her lips and chin as she thought about everything. "Then there is the shipment of supplies, it has become harder to buy large amount of supplies without being noticed and we have become low on certain things".

Shay thought while she listened and smirked at the thirds words but didn't say anything about it. When she heard their commander speak she looked up to her and nodded, "It is possible that, that other thing may just be that. There may be Heirs in this town.....even more of a reason to protect this town. Also about the supplies...if we send out small groups of our people to fetch supplies at different locations in moderated portions then it would go unnoticed. Small groups and supply numbers are easy to hide when you go about that way. We will be well hidden and unnoticed if we do it that way. The hard part will be to locate the Heirs. From my understanding most if not all had been really young and unknowing of their heritage. It is possible that they will not be so easily found if they live here. We must look for little signs not so obviously seen, and that too will be hard to say the least. For things such as Air and earth, water and fire might be easier to find, mostly because they are common day uses that will be easier to spot when dealing with the Heirs."

She hummed as she looked at the town on the map, "It's a big town for one so unnoticed by the Shadow Keeper until now. If we want to find the heirs we must be discreet as possible and quick, yet unnoticed in the same instance. If we find an heir or when we find an heir, we will have to ask them if they want to come with us, or if they will not. We can't obviously force them too....If they don't then we'll have to think of something else to protect them."
