Welcome to Gaia! ::

Lyla walked out of her hotel room. She must've been tired for she couldn't remember a thing. She couldn't remember getting off the ship, or checking in. She couldn't remember finding her room, or even meeting her roommate. What happened last night? She thought to herself as she made sure that she had all her stuff with her. "Maybe I'll take a look around. After all I haven't met anyone yet, nor have I ever been to Mexico before." She told herself as she began to walk to the lobby. I hope I can meet at least ONE person... She thought to herself as she continued to walk down the long empty hall. It was a little depressing the long hallway, filled with its dim lights, and no sound, the only other living being in the hallway was a small plant at the end of the hallway on a small desk. She hurried down the hallway, not entirely enjoying the lonesome feeling. She turned the corner and nearly ran into someone. She wasn't sure if they were from the cruise or if they worked in the hotel or if they were simply another people who had checked in. All she knew was that she needed to pay more attention, otherwise she'd end up either injuring herself or someone else.
I sighed, realizing i'd have to find a check in desk or some kind of food-ish place to get a snack. I looked left and right again, this time wondering which way was the best bet for the check-in desk. as i began to walk off, i saw a girl almost trip over me.
"Oh, sorry!" i said, then blushing a little, i asked, "Do you happen to have a less-crumpled dollar?"
Lyla looked at the girl and smiled, "Oh it's no problem. Actually it was my fault. I wasn't watching where I was going." She looked at the crumbled dollar bill the girl held in her hand as she took out her wallet, "Oh yeah, here you go." She handed the new dollar bill to the girl then continued, "My name's Lyla by the way." She held out her hand in a friendly way, as she smiled again. Finally a real person! I wonder if she's from the cruise as well! It'd be so nice to know at least one other person. Her smile deepened as she waited for the other girl to reply then she said, "Are you by any chance part of the cruise that docked here last night because of the storm?"

"Vincent," she repeated, to get it into memory. She knew a guy named Vince.. He was the bouncer in the clubs back home. They always had a small chat before she walked in. "Isn't that Italian?" She tilted her head, she swear that it was.. But she wasn't one to judge.

Use a map? In a hotel? "You want to use a map?" She blinked a few times, trying to get what he was saying, "in a hotel?" A giggle escaped her lips. "Oh, that's adorable." She smiled and nodded to nothing in particular. His face was absolutely gorgeous and his confusion made everything much more cuter.

"What's your room number, darling?"
She asked Vincent with a small smile. They could figure this out together, without a map. Just follow the numbers of the rooms then voila, you'll be there. Then maybe they could grab something to eat. She was hungry, after all.

Chouko walked back to the wheel and honked the horn. "All passengers report to the ship. I repeat, all passengers return to the ship." She smiled. She looked out the window to see many people walking into the ship.
"Well a map always helps." he said with a shrug. "But, I guess we don't need it. My room's 204, yours?."

(( writer's block >__<" ))
Alice grabbed her bags and jogged to the ship. "Hello Chouko!"

Kaleb walked back to the ship, in no absolute hurry.
I grinned, accepting the new dollar and smiled, "Yeah, i am. In fact, you're the first person i met. I think i fell asleep before my roommate got in, and... well. Yeah." I said. I turned back to the machine and popped in the new bill and punched in the number for one of "Grandma's Famous Homade Cookies." Of course really they were mass produced in a factory, which was about as far away as you can get from "homade" or "Grandma" unless a hundred sweaty old women worked there.
... Suddenly i was feeling a little less hungry.
Lyla started to get really excited. I've finally met someone! This is great! She looked at the girl then said, "Yeah, I think I fell asleep before my roommate got there as well." She laughed a little, thinking it was kinda ironic but then heard a loud honking sound that seemed to come from the ship. "Oh, I think our cruise is leaving. Better start heading back, after all I don't really feel like being stuck in this place." She smiled again then picked up her luggage and began heading toward the lobby again so she could get to the ship, "Oh, sorry but what did you say your name was again? I don't think I heard you the first time."
"Oh! Sorry, my name is Kaylynne, you?" i paused, "Oh no! I left my things in the room..."
Lyla looked at her, "I'm Lyla. It's kinda funny but the person I was supposed to be rooming with had your name as well." She thought about it a little then continued, "I think we were roommates." She laughed a little, "Now that's REALLY ironic. Let's go back to the room to grab your stuff before the ship departs." She smiled then turned around towards the way she had originally came from. Just one turn and a long, empty hallway to go.
"Oh wow!" I laughed, "Yeah, I'd hate to leave my stuff here! The book I was reading was really good!"
Lyla looked at her as they walked down the hallway, "Oh? What book is it?" She had just finished her last book and had been looking for another one that might be interesting to read. She really wanted to get back to the ship, but she patiently waited for Kaylynne to get her things.

"Hello Alice." She smiled. She thought about making a matchmaking activity for the ship.
"How long till we depart?" Alice asked.

'There's those two girls talking about who-cares-what.' Kaleb thought.
