~*Kenji*~
~*Carmel*~

(( Ack! Sowwie havn't posted in this forum in a long time ))

Kenji and Carmel walked down the street, with a grey kitten in Carmel's arms."Looks like he's calming down,"Kenji said to Carmel looking at the mitten then examined his hand, that was stinging abit. It had took them quite an effort to catch the poor thing. First Carmel decided to feed him a peaice of bread, but it ran, which made Carmel to run after it the Kenji ran after her. While they walked down and down that street for a couple of minutes Kenji found him stuck in a tree. Kenji climmed the tree and reached out to help the kitten, but the mitten seemed to be shocked and scrathed the back of Kenji's hand. But luckly Kenji calmed the grey kitten down and recused it.

Carmel hugged the kitten with a smile and nodded to Kenji's statment. "Can we keep him?"Carmel asked looking at Kenji."I don't know,Carmel,I can barly find food to feed you at times, now we're adding a kitten, to it too,"Kenji said starting to like the kitten,Kenji shrugged and smiled at his younger sister. Carmel pouted and asked again if they could keep the kitten."Maybe, We'll see,"Kenji said, patting Carmel's head, as a face started to re-appear on her face.

Karsha watched Jezebeth from the corner of her eye and couldn't help but smirk at the way her hand instantly went to her sword. She thinks he's a dangerous, she thought with a silent laugh. She sobered though when she realised he might of found the weapons she had hidden in the house she was using as a safe base. The owner had been arrested about a month a go and Karsha had quickly turned it into a mini fortress.

Jezebeth went to follow Karsha, somewhat elated with the good news.'A little out it' She took note of what Karsha had said, and stayed on guard, her hand ready to draw her sword at any moment, and proceeded outside.

Karsha nodded. She would do this then get out of this place before it all went to hell. She knew that whatever was going on, a lot of people could die. And she talks about be having a tainted soul. Well it is true a dark voice inside her said argued. You know all of the horrible things you've done, but she can sense them.
Ignoring her feeling of dread, Karsha plastered a smile on her face and indicated for Jezebeth to follow her.
"I can take you to him right now but I'm warning you now, he might be a little out of it."

Jezebeth was elated at the fact that her contact was still alive.Oh thank god.She thought. "Please I would love to see him, there is much we must talk about"

Karsha turned back at Jezebeth's frantic call. It was the first she had heard of a mission. Although he had said something about stopping the world going to the dogs, while sending her a very pointed look. She had just blown it off as another crazy fool who thught the sun was going to explode or something. She glanced around the inn, making sure no one was listening before walking back to Jezebeth.
"I might know about it but I wouldn't talk about it here. People in this town have big ears and even bigger mouths if it'll get them an extra drink or some food. i can take you to him if you want." She whispered the last part, not wanting to be overheard.

Jezebeth just stared for a short moment taking in what she had just heard. "Wait! You knew the person that was my contact? How? Did he tell you why I am here?" Jezebeth was slightly frantic, her mission was strictly secret. It was of utmost importance that no one know, despite who they were or their beliefs.

Karsha glanced up in surprise. She had momentarily forgotten Jezebeth was there, her mind wrapped up in her own memories. Sighing she leant back again, not knowing what to say. It had been her home that had destroyed part of Jezebeth's and Karsha had been there and done nothing to stop it. She stood up suddenly, her eyes not meeting jezebeth's.
"I have to go. I'm sorry I put you through all this but I... I made a mistake."
She turned to leave before she stopped and spoke softly, just so she could hear her.
"The man I killed in that house... I don't think he was the one you were looking for. He was trying to rob the place. I was hired to protect the owner."

((Oo! Good plot twist! I'm excited now =D Now I just need to think of something to go with that))

Jezebeth saw the look on Karsha's face and hesitated. "Is there something wrong?"

((Tehehehe it so is! ^^))

Karsha listened to words intently. When she spoke her name and heritage Karsha froze. She had heard of the place before but only in passing between whispering adults when she was a child. Breaking into houses had become habit when she was younger. The fact that her parents were never around to look after he meant Karsha grew up with a different set of morals then the others of her village. But there was something she knew was off limits, no matter what and that was travelling with the warriors on their raids. Her village was a violent one, always fighting for things that didn't belong to them. Being the rebelious child she was Karsha had snuck aboard one of the crafts heading for a town near by. She was soon found out but not before she had seen to much. If there was one thing the people of her village were particular about it was there secrets. Karsha remembered being forced into a chair and having a liquid forced down her throat but that was pretty much it.

((I swear it's just you and mean in this story it seems XD hahaha))

Jezebeth became ridgid as she heard the words that came from Karsha's mouth. "How. . . the only thing that I can make from that, is that my village was attacked quite awhile ago by a people that came from a city in the same region as my village. But I don't remember a rocky area, though they did have guns. . . we lost too many pure souls that day. . ." Jezebeth expression turned sad. "My name is Jezebeth, a halfdemon of Shang Ri La or what is left of it. Our people are not evil however, so don't be alarmed."

Karsha glanced up angrily.
"I don't get it either ok! But I had a... memory flash or something and you were in it fighting some warrior looking people with these really weird guns and it was really rocky and I was hiding behind some of those rocks! You were kicking a** to, by the way."
Karsha let a slight smile form on her lips as she said the last bit. She leant forward in her chair, watching the stranger carefully.
"Can you at least tell me your name? Maybe I'll remember something else."

((that's ok. We all have those days ^^))

Karsha didn't answer straight away. Her eyes dropped from Jezebeths face onto her hands that rested on the table.
"I don't know how to explain it, but I think I know you from...somewhere else."

Jezebeth's eyes raised, though you would not notice. "Is that so? But I'm afraid I have never seen you before or felt your aura before I came here."

((sorry for the slow replies been a bit busy today))
