We should probably start a new board.
I have no objection to western theme. Hell, it even makes more sense. A group of law-breaking slayers took control of the world for a thousand years, so the land has kind of evolved into a rough, backwater slum.
As for use turning into dragons? Maybe one character? You know kind of like in LOTRs you have Frodo being the ONE ring bearer. Maybe the rest of the cast has to protect the main character on his way to the dragons so he can learn how to use his gift?

[edit] I'm most likely going to play the wannabe developing hero and his mothering older sister, so the rest of you should plan accordingly. I don't mind using some one else though, if these two won't fit.

Dack placed his grease covered wrench on the wooden table infront of him before wiping his hands. He had been working on a speeder bike that had been recovered from a junk pile almost a week ago. The vehicle was pretty much scrap metal when he found it, but he was always known as the whiz when it came to pulling miracles. A break was needed and Dack headed for his room. After putting on a less stained shirt and his boots he walked out onto the dusty streets. The smell of oil and rust filled the air, alongside the sound of metal clanks and hot steam being released.

his backstory can be he is a wanderer who goes from town to town finding odd jobs so he can feed himself
