Eric had a twisted dream of his blood leaking out of his body. The twisted imagery in his mind was something out of Silent Hill 2. His blood left his body slowly and painted the walls red. Just before Eric died in his dream he jumped awake for the second time in this house. He got a couple hours of rest, and was able to function now. At the moment, Eric's wounds were clotting but not scabbed over. He needed something over it before it got infected. It was stuff like that Eric thought about before moving forward. He ripped off a piece of the sheet and tied it around his neck. It didnt look the best but served its function.
Still a little rattled about the thought of losing blood earlier, Eric began looked around with a slightly paranoid view.

Cosette looked at Dante as though she had never seen anything quite like him.

"What are you talking about?" Her tone was so quiet he might not have heard her, laced with danger and the threat of anger. Surely she had misinterpreted his meaning, whatever it had been. The dying gargle of thunder outside promised the nearing of the storm's end, but the rain beat on as relentless as ever. She must have missed his intention, the link of his arm around her waist, the confident tone of his voice.

User Image Dante grinned, and didn't say anything. For a moment, he just stood there and brushed some of her bangs from her face, the only noise the pounding of the rain, beginning to slow. After a moment though, he closed the gap between their faces, and he kissed her. As stupid an action as that was, Dante didn't care. He was just enjoying the moment, as short as it was. Her lips were cold, but it didn't impede him. He parted from her, as quickly as he kissed her, and chuckled a bit, "I'm going to die aren't I?"

Cosette nearly moved away, but his lips found hers in a quick and electric moment, her surprise evident in her slight jump. The taste of his kiss, the soft texture of mortal lips, the tingle of strange warmth against bitter coldness. She moved back slightly as the kiss broke, her eyes revealing very little.

"Not tonight, Dante." She said with a slight smile, her finger wrapping around the curiously violet colored lock of his hair. "But take care to remember that necrophilia is frowned up in this age." She teased, her lips brushing his cheek, an innocent gesture as she turned away, looking at their momentary shadows cast long and disproportionate across the wooden floor.

User Image Dante grinned at her playful nature, it was comforting. "Well since your not a decaying corpse, I think it's alright." he chuckled, and approached her from behind. He wrapped his arms around her waist, and gently swayed with her, their shadows mimicking their hypnotic movements. "Besides, your pretty, and interesting." he said in a hushed voice. He was feeling more and more comfortable around her, no longer worried if she was dangerous or not. He didn't even mind her cold skin, he just liked being around her.

She smirked, "Interesting, hm?" She asked back, swaying about with his movements.

"Like I said, you're interesting to me, too."
She said quietly, watching their figures dance about on the floor. "Tell the about the outside world. What is it like now?" She asked, her fingers grasping a piece of his hair again. "Do most people have such exotic colors in their hair?" She asked curiously, her mind trying to fathom all the current styles and customs. She had seen society evolve, but even with her practice could never predict the next step.

User Image Dante smiled and shook his head, "No, not most people. I am really a minority." With one hand, he grasped her hand that was playing with his hair, "But if you like it that much, you can keep a lock if you want." He grabbed a nearby chair, and sat down in it, Cosette falling into his lap, "My world, where do I start? I'm not sure, did they have cars when you first came here? I'll bet they didn't have T.V. or radio, or anything like that." he said, staring back up at the windowed ceiling, the rain beginning to stop. He tried to think of what might interest her, what she didn't know about. Really, it was a lot he never really thought about, but he guessed to her it was all fascinating.

Cosette nodded slightly, "I know some of what you speak, but not much. It must be very different out there now. I can guess that just by your clothes." She said, running a finger around the loose collar, as if curious about it.

"But I would never be able to understand unless I saw such things for myself, I'm sure of that. There a few more modern books that we've taken from others who have been unfortunate enough to stumble too close to the house. But those are mere glimpses of this age." She said with a slight shrug, "They reference things I am not familiar with, too common to go into detail about as any modern person would know all about them."

User Image Dante rested his head against her cold shoulder, and gave a laugh, "That still doesn't give me a good reference point." He turned his head to the empty bird cage, then looked back to her, "You know, your really like a caged bird. You see all sorts of things all outside, but you can't get out. If you did, you would never come back. You would just keep flying." He said, gazing up at the ceiling, "So you know, I bet you weren't sad when you let those bird go, you were envious of them. They got to leave, while you are bound here." he chuckled again, "Well, we are bound here. I guess I'm just as stuck as you are. But hey, I suppose misery loves company." he shrugged.
