So, She changed the topic, But stayed on subject. "Why did you hike in these forests anyways? Obviously you must of heard of all the dissipearences lately, Right?" She immediantly felt like slapping herself. 1st of all, How would she know they were hiking. 2nd, She just brought up the fact that hikers wen't missing.. When the ladys of the mansion were to blame. Good lord, Violetta, What's getting into you? Your gonna give yourself away! She scolded herself mentally, Before looking back up and smirking again. Cosette resented this plan, letting mortals peak about where they did not belong. Was this how Vampires sought their cheap thrills, letting mortals enter their lair and toy with them as cats do their mice? Perhaps it was so, but she wanted no part of it. This was their sanctuary, and now it would be trespassed upon by these careless mortals. A simmer of rage filled the core of her being, frightfully strong as her silent steps sent her gliding across the blackened room, sealed from light at any opening. Black and white lace outlined the dangerously quick figure, followed by a banner of cascading dark locks. Her pulse quickened with her anger as they bustled about in their clumsy mortal manner, touching and disrupting what was not theirs. How foolish mortals were, to press themselves into the matters of the damned. A lengthy hiss was drawn from her lips- a mere sigh to any mortal, but a snarl of venomous rage to the keen ears of the undead. She had no choice, she would merely play the part and kill them when they dared cross her path. The ivory mask of her countenance revealed nothing, but her movements, so fluid and without error, were filled with purpose as she stalked the labyrinth that was her home.  Edward Vane It became silent upstairs, Edward lowered his cane. "Where...." Edward was confused, it was so quite, Edward could hear his own heart beat pulsing through his body. The young woman who had been messing with him had vanished and Edward was alone once more, at least; that's what he had hoped. Edward sighed, trying to calm himself of the events. "What the hell kind of place is this anyway....Not ghosts, something more." |

 Kyle Lyte Illes The woman caught Kyle's attention when she mentioned the disappearances of travelers who'd entered the forest. Kyle shook his head and excitedly noted, "No way! Really? I never knew that. We came here because a guy we all know recommended us to check this forest and it's various trails out. He said it was definitely a place we should check out before we went off to college. We had already looked up a designated camping spot....but we couldn't find it." Kyle was a little curious about why the woman brought up the fact about the disappearances. Although, because of all of the weird things Kyle had seen and heard just after entering the mansion, he wouldn't be all that surprised if it turned out that the hikers had all vanished after entering the mansion. Although...if that was the case...to which Kyle gulped...maybe their situation was bleaker than he previously thought. Kyle wasn't sure how the woman knew they had been hiking, however. Kyle tilted his head to the side and asked the woman, "So, do you know the forest well?" |

"I know it off by heart. I've been going out there every day since I moved here. I could probably make a map if I wanted.. By why would I ever want to do that?" She cocked her head to the side innocently, Teasing him. Hopefully, He'd be hooked upon learning that she could easily get him out of the forest. Kyle Lyte Illes ((Sounds awesome ^^. I'll join up, but I may not send a profile tonight or tomorrow morning. I got to get up early so we can stand in line in the freezing cold so my brother and I can get the H1N1 vaccine....yay....)) Kyle leaned in, almost jumping up and down like he was hopped up on a massive dosage of sugar, and asked the woman....not really pleadingly, and kind of jokingly, "Every time you don't share a map with lost guys in need, a puppy dies. I'd really like to know. How about it? I'd do anything for it. As soon as we got far enough in, we completely lost our sense of direction." Kyle could tell that the woman was still playing around with him, and would most likely hold back the information he was asking for. Also, when Kyle said 'He'd do anything' to get the information concerning a way out of the forest, he wasn't even sure what he meant when he uttered that sentence. Kyle was almost certain that his friends were even more anxious to find any way out of the forest that they could. |

 Eric was petrified in fear. What should he do? Though he knew he was caught, Eric stayed. He teeth slowly stopped chattering, but his breathing remained inconsistent. In an attempt to cause confusion, Eric drastically slowed his inconsistent breathing. The first way to disappear was to silence movements. Unfortunately for Eric, he couldnt keep his chattering down long enough for him to make a move. His teeth chattered to help generate heat in the body in addition to shivering and increased breathing. Homeostasis was trying to be achieved, and Eric actually thought about the possibility if hypothermia. The unfortunate weather, and near arctic temperatures of the third floor could easily induce hypothermia to someone unprepared. Just as Eric was going to make a move out of the doorway and toward the main hallway, his hands slipped from the door's frame. With a louder thump, he fell to the hardwood floor with door flung open. Eric was done for, or at least he thought so. Springing back up to his feet, Eric was in an athletic position once standing. His weight evenly distributed, knees bent, and back straight, Eric was ready to make a cut for the main hallway if spooked from the girl. He couldnt say nothing however. With teeth chattering, body shaking, and freezing..."H-he-hello..." |

With that, She walked past him and around the corner hidden by darkness. A grin stretched onto her face when she walked down the hall. It was narrow, With loose floorboards and wallpaper that was falling off by the second. That was't the best part, Though. No, The best part is that if he actually did follow her, He'd be consumed by darkness. Without a flashlight, He'd be blind. Hell, It was even hard for Violetta to see. "Are you playing or no?" She asked, Her voice an echo. She was standing right in the middle of the small hallway, The grin still in place. Kyle Lyte Illes (Kyle smiled kindly, thinking that the deal was genuine and that he'd actually have a chance in finding the woman. Kyle agreed to the game that the woman had explained to him and exclaimed, "Yeah! I'm in, for sure!" As Kyle followed the woman, he couldn't help but think...."Hm....does she really want to help me get out? O...of course....otherwise she wouldn't have offered. But...what if she's lying? No....I just have to believe her." Kyle shook his head and followed the woman into the inky darkness of the hallway. Kyle reached his hand out, attempting to feel around and muttered, "Hm....this hallway is pretty narrow. It's also really dim. It might be harder to do this than I thought. Well, my eyes should adjust soon." Kyle was only hoping for the best, knowing that his vision was so impaired, he was as handicapped as a blind man. Maybe the woman was still toying with him....but Kyle had no choice, he simply had to believe that the woman was being honest with him. |
