She watches as her father wandered aimlessly through the kitchen, looking for the food that wasn't there. She felt badly for him, knowing he still hadn't come to terms with his lover's death. He had lost much in these last two years. His wife, his parents, his hearing... But he still had his daughter, however little she was around.

Sighing, Anju rose to her feet. She stomped hard, sending a vibration through the wooden floor, strong enough for him to feel. He turned, and stared longingly at his daughter. "Where's the food?" He said loudly, not realizing his tone. "You're mother was supposed to go shopping."

Taking a deep breath, Anju grabbed the notebook that resided on the kitchen table. Carefully, she wrote Mother died six months ago, Dad. She didn't go shopping. You have to go on your own. Also, I'm going out for a while. Word is, the new batch of outsiders have come. She turned the notebook, and he read the words carefully. He had lost his hearing quite recently, and before then, he always read. So, knowing how to read really made things easier for everyone, for Anju didn't know sign language. After reading the note, her father walked away. His face was frozen, showing no emotion. But as Anju left the house, she could hear his horrible sobbing. Closing the door behind her, she took off for the forest as quickly as her body would allow. She wanted to be the first to catch a nice little pet.

The girl sighed as Crystal slowed her running to a nice and easy jog. I wonder if she would notice if I stalked her. That is, if I decide I want her after all. There are 9 others, and there will always be more next batch. Wonderland was now in view, although she didn't really want to enter yet, since if she did there was a chance that she would run into her mother. However slim that chance was, it wasn't going to be a chance she was going to take. After all, even if she changed forms her mother would suspect anyone that she didn't know to be her and interrogate them until she deems them to not be me. Her mother was one tough lady. So instead of entering Wonderland, or standing around near Wonderland, she chose to calmly walk around it, although quite a few feet away from the closest building for the neko didn't want to talk nor see anyone she knew at the moment. Crystal also suspected that the first thing the mice would do, besides wonder where they were and try to find a way back, was to find civilization. For what reason? Well, she thought that they would do that to uphold mundane traditions such as asking where to go and how to leave or something. Maybe even look for someone to protect them? Nothing that the neko would know about, since she never asked for help, even when it was obvious that she needed it.

Pizza...I wonder if Vix would treat me..Nah, I doubt it. I still owe her money... Crystal sighed and stopped for a moment to touch the rough bark of a near-by tree, brushing her fingers over the slowly growing moss. "How peaceful.." Those soft quiet words slipped from her lips before she turned away and continued her walk, thinking more about food and how would be able to treat her, only to realize that she owed them roses. Didn't think I asked that many people for money.. On the neko's face was a small immature pout after thinking about who she owed and how much.

Zelyna Evans

Zelyna saw as the blonde girl turned into a neko demon. I had the feelin'...My nose couldn't have failed She smiled at her compliments. "You're smart"..."Not afraid"...It wasn't that she was afraid. Zelyna didn't have technically anythin to go back to. She listen intently to the Neko's words. About the new batch and 9 others beside her. Mice, Cat, Game...The words ran across her head...Zelyna saw her run into the forest and out of sight. "Oh and I must inform you that that letter was lying. We eat you..." She smiled at that. "If that we're the case...you wouldn't look healthy or have nice teeth." Zelyna sighed and took the katana she always carried on her back on her left. She patted the ground right of her. Ethan laid there within a second and was cuddling besides her. "I've heard I don't smell appetizing...Do you think that's true? Ethan?" Ethan let out a low rumble. Zelyna giggled and looked at the twilight sky. "I hope he'll be alright..."
Zelyna laid there thinkin' about the only important thing back at the human world. "Jade..." Jade was Zelyna's one person in her world that made it worth livin in the human world, after losin all her family and life. She would tease him about his name. Jade, A girl name no? He wasn't your typical human, he was a vampire...And he would be so careful with her...Zelyna stood up and looked around the openin she was at. Ethan followed and yawned, he went to get a last drink at the river and went quickly in n out the river to refresh himself. Zelyna knew she would never be able to go back to the human world.Goodbye, Angel...I hope you do fine without me... She strapped the Katana back and looked down at her pet fox. "Lets go, Ethan." He answered in a bark as they both ran through the forest. She knew she need to feed Ethan soon, so they looked around the forest for anything close to a 4-legged animal.

((OOC: Hello, new ppls! =D))

Saiten_Suri

Saiten began walking as silently as possible through the tall brush. It had felt as though hours have passed, yet the sun remained in the same place. It was confusing, but it was also the least of his worries. His heart was pounding, and his body jumped at every sound. He kept muttering that he had to get out of there, but he could find no way of getting out.

As he walked, he caught sight of a cute, black haired girl. She was panting, as though she had been running for a long time. He smiled, and raised his hands to his mouth. "Hey, miss? Do you know how to get out of here?"

The words escaped hiss mouth before he could really think. The letter came to his mind, and the panic came again. He turned, and ran, not wanting to know if she was an ally or enemy.

Ethan suddenly stopped on a branch. His ears were movin frantically trying to figure out sound."Ethan? Wha-" Zelyna then too caught the sound. Runnin, something was runnin in the forest. Zelyna tried to make it out. Two legs, panicky, food...?Zelyna looked at Ethan and Ethan began leadin the way. They passed trees and jumped branch by branch. Ethan's eyes turned golden and leaped outsides the canopy they were goin through.

Ethan had caught something...Well, more like landed on something. Zelyna noticed it didn't smell like animal, instead it was human. She stood on a branch lookin down at Ethan and his catch. "Baby, you caught a demon..." She shook her head and turned to see his catch. "Kitsune boy...?" Ethan barked and turned back to the boy. "Let him go, you know I don't let you eat humans and I don't eat humans either." Zelyna sat on the branch and leaned in the trunk of the tree. Ethan got off the boy and sat in front of him pantin. Ethan's eyes have gone back to its blue color.

Saiten screamed out when he felt something fall on him. He could hear another voice, but his ears were picking up so many different sounds at once, that it was impossible for him to understand the words. The thing that had landed on him had gotten off, allowing him to sit up. He saw a small fox, and he couldn't help smiling a bit. When he saw the girl, he jumped to his feet, and began edging away.

"Who are you? Look, I don't want any trouble, I just want to leave..." He looked around, his ears twitching, fearing that his scream had brought on more enemies.

"Don't worry, I won't bite." Zelyna giggled at the reaction of the boy. She sat back up on her branch and figured he was also a 'mice'. "I'm like you. I appeared in this world durin my sleep. And I'm sorry to say, but...there is no way out. " Ethan barked as if wantin to back her up. "There are people huntin us. Its a game, just like the letter says. The cat and the mouse." Zelyna studied the guy. He was nervous. Watchin out for himself is the most logical reason. Zelyna didn't know how long she had been here. But she wasn't worried about it.

Hearing the girl's words, he began shaking. He didn't want to be here, but if he had to, he'd fight. He wasn't going to be taken alive, and he wouldn't allow himself to die. He shook his head, and sat himself on the ground. "This can't be happening... I'm not a damn mouse! I'm not going to be someone's play thing!"

Zelyna Evans

Ethan whined as he saw the boy sit on the ground. Zelyna sighed and jumped off the branch she was sittin on. She took only the steps necessary to reach for Ethan and petted him so he can clam down. "Shhh, baby, He's gonna be okay." She sat next to Ethan and the fox rested his head on her lap. "The 'Cat' I met said they actually ate us. If that were the case, there wouldn't be civilization here. Or at least some kind of it." Zelyna mentioned that the 'cat' she met smelled of sweets; cookies and brownies. Also that she shapeshifts. She was practically as old as Zelyna. "There are 10 of us in total. I honestly don't know much of this place anyway. I don't even know how long I've been here..."

Panting, Anju looked into the woods. For a moment, she saw nothing. But after a few seconds, a boy stumbled into her view. A young boy from the looks of it. He looked so pale, she wondered if he was sick. She watched as he smiled, and called out to her. His words proved her thoughts. He was a new Mouse, and her new prey. He seemed to realize that the moment his words reached her, for he turned, and sprinted away. Smirking, she began walking after him, thinking he wouldn't get far. But his scream filled the air, and she began running, refusing too let anyone else have this one. As she ran, she stumbled upon the sight of the boy, a fox, and girl. The boy was lying on the ground with the fox on his back.

"Well well," she murmured, smirking. "I've got me some friends." She listened to the boy talking, saying he wouldn't be someone's plaything. "Ha! You think!" She called, stepping from behind a tree.

QUESTING FOR LAWNSHARKS! AN TYPE OF HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

Crystal sighed as she finally stopped at a tree, leaning against it to face Wonderland. So quiet...Surprising. A small smile was now set on her lips as her thoughts drifted to the new supply of mice, and the girl with the dog. Should've been better prepared..It was such a blatant lie anyways. I don't smell like brownies that much do I? The girl couldn't have been able to smell that from her distance...Well, then again the chick did have ears. Must mean she was taken to the human world from her home or whatever. I should be more careful then.. To reinsure her thoughts, the neko looked around carefully then took a piece of her shirt to sniff it, and after, the neko sniffed the air around her. Well, yes I do smell like sweets. Still. Crystal was stubborn so she continued to deny the thought as she stood back straight and turned to face the woods once more. Whistling a soft tune that she heard from one of the mice while they were calmly walking around. What a mistake it was for him~. A shiek broke the silence and causing her to stop, but then it died down again although Crystal's ears continued to stand erect at the noise. Huntings started already? Am I the only one that wasn't informed yet?! The light scream sounded like it belonged to a girl, so the neko hoped that it wasn't that chick with the dog, for she was hoping to have her. Crystal did like challenges. She licked her dry lips as she rubbed the back of her right ear, stopping the tune but continuing her walk deeper into the forest, although she went a bit more cautious and slower, avoiding small sticks and other objects that would emit a noise if she were to step on it.

Zelyna Evans

Zelyna sighed as she heard the voice as another girl. Ethan responded quickly, he felt distracted by Zelyna's caresses. His eyes were back to its golden shade and was growlin at the girl. He barked as he got in front of Zelyna to protect her. "My dear Mr. Rabbit. Tell me what joy does this game bring to you..." Zelyna sighed. She stood to look at the girl. Hmm...another girl...A 'cat' as well...Apparently she ain't givin up a 'mouse' Zelyna stood with her arms crossed. Ethan shifted into his fightin stance and kept growlin. Ethan wasn't your average fox. He had three forms, you could say. The first was that of a small kit. The second one was of the size of a wolf. Ethan tended to stay that size for Zelyna. He would provided as a pillow and warmth for her. And the last was a gaint fox. Just enough to carry Zelyna. After knowing that you probably know he isn't normal. He was a demon given to Zelyna from her departed Father. "Ethan. Calm, please."
Zelyna didn't like to have Ethan shifting. He had less control of himself dependin on what stage he was in. Ethan still growled at the girl; waitin.

Saiten jumped to his feet after hearing the girls voice. He didn't want to be caught. He didn't even want to be here! Turning, he saw the cute girl from earlier, and he had the urge to smack himself across the head. What was he thinking, calling out to a stranger in this place. Hadn't his father taught him better than that? Sighing, he stared at the girl, thinking of what to do. He was frozen: Unable to run, unable to speak. He just stood, waiting for her to make the first move.

The neko paused as she leaning against her back on a tree, hidding from the area where the shriek was. Should I really bother these people while they are hunting? Crystal smirked. Hell yes. Unless they are marked already, all's fair in love and war~. A soft chuckle slipped from her lips as she glanced to her right to see if anyone was there and saw no one. Good, it still isn't in sight. Maybe I should climb a tree for better view..? As the thought crossed her mind her gaze lifted to the tree branches around her and spotted a tree that seemed to have a branch that was low enough for the top parts of her four fingers to rest on top of. Her smile was plastered on her face as she skipped merrily to the tree and stopped when the branch was directly above her head. Wow when was the last time I went tree climbing? Oh wait it was only last week when that little girl got her kite stuck in a tree...What was her name again? Hm...

Crystal's smile faded as she knit her eyebrows together in concentration, reaching out to grasp the branch with both hands, having to stand on tip of her toes to fully hold the branch. With a bit more effort and minutes later, she finally managed to hoist herself up to sit on the lowest branch and turn herself away from the tree to look outward in the direction that she believed she heard the noise come from. How exciting! To hunt other hunters as they hunt the mice! I wonder who's out hunting? Well, there can't be much out, since most of my friend's already have a mouse and they do not want another one.. With the view at the lowest branch, the neko only saw dirt and more trees, so she knew that the mouse and the hunter was pretty far away. Aww...They might already get marked by the time I get there..Oh well, might as well look for them before delving into the forest with no clue.
