Her face reddened even more as he neared her, asking if she had fallen for him. Had she? ...No. But that didn't mean that the kiss wasn't yummy or his nether regions looking like it was on steroids. She kissed back, to show she wasn't going to be played so easily. Nagi could feel him moving closer, cornering her against the wall. If only the world were so easy and nice and he wasn't something dangerous that would kill her if he got the chance. Her right hand jerked up, flipping the lights on at full strenght as she pushed him away from her and flipped on the sunlight, ready to use it if he tries something.

"Sorry, but no. I have more of a nervous reaction to one of my coworkers who I can't stand. You as a Darkling would never be able to even grasp such a feeling. Rather pitiful, really. Now be a good experiment and sit down on the couch and keep your hands on your knees where I can see them.. I won't have nightmares from killing you both, so stick with the rational decision, not the enraged worm."

Dove pushed strings of dirty black hair out of her eyes. Her hands and knees shook as she leaned on the concrete wall. Why did it have to be so bright? She winced painfully and sank to the ground. Her legs sprawled across the ground in a very undignified way. She looked very much like and overstuffed scarecrow. She was thin, gaunt and hollow inside like her body was eating itself. She could feel the eyes of the passers by as they gaped at her greasy, form. The cool breeze flowed over her body unhampered as it passed through what was left of the ragtag ensemble that was remaining on her body. Her face had bits of rust, grime and dirt from her cell. Her neat manicure was now overgrown, and laced with blood and dirt.[/color

The blood was not her own. She had been fighting almost endlessly to escape. In the struggles she faced just trying to not get kidnapped, she found herself decking more people than Mohammed Ali. She was becoming quite adept at running away, that and turning anything into a weapon. She gazed at the blood under her nails and grimaced. She could never forget their faces. Not when they were that close....Somehow there had to be a way out of this mess. Who could possibly want a single, NEW experiment THIS badly?

She sighed, thankfully the blood was not her own. In her attempt to escape, she clocked someone with a large rusty pipe. If she weren't in such a hurry to run out she might have stayed to deck him once more. She panted heavily and tried to get her breath. How long had it been since her escape? She couldn't tell. Her sense of time had been lost in the foul underground. She silently reminded herself to stay away from the dark forgotten corners of the world. as each of which seemed to be a gateway, portal or decent to hell in one way or another. She had been wandering endlessly for some time now- chased by the lab people. Everywhere she turned, there was always one on her tail. She mumbled, "It's like I've got a tracking chip or something..." She thoughtfully felt the track marks on her arm with her thumb. She whispered, "I'm so hungry."

She closed her eyes and pushed herself off the concrete and headed down town, hopefully, she could find a soup kitchen...

Faris let out a yell of surprise and pain when she turned on the lights, stumbling back from her and closing his eyes shut, tripping over the coffee table and falling over on the floor. Dear lord, the light from the flashlight hurt as bad as regular sunlight! He sneered at her words, crawling onto the couch and doing what she said. "Psycho hag, I'm gonna be sick because of you! Turn off the ********' lights or I'm going to be spewing chunks all over your normal-a** living room." He said with an enraged tone, no longer bothering with being polite. His body was trembling, the strong lights were bad for him and her sun flashlight was even worse. He felt like his blood was starting to boil, which, it in fact was, albeit slowly. He'd rather be back in his holding cell back in the lab; at least then he didn't worry about dying fron sunlight.

The man could hear her movement. He knew she was awake and that she probably knew he knew. He watched as she laid back down in the bed before he headed there next. He climbed in next to her, pulling the covers over his naked torso. turned onto his side, facing her as he stared at her shoulder. He knew she was messing with the brand. Again, he touched her, not knowing why he would bother with it.

His hand pulled at her elbow a bit to turn her and stop what she was doing, "Don't mess with it or it'll blister and get infected. If you don't or if it itches, I'll lick you again to make sure it's clean."

He intended it to be a kind of threat, but in his condition, it hardly came out at one. Caspian looked rather tired as if he hadn't slept at all. His eyelids were heavy and his eyes felt salty and dry. He actually looked kind of cute the way his hair had settled on his cheek with the puffy pillow.

Nagi's eyebrow twitched in response to the "Psycho Hag" comment. She turned off her sunlight but kept it in hand in case she needed to use it. Nagi smirked as she walked over to the switch that would dim the lights. She wasn't going to be nice if he didn't apologize for the comment he made. To her, it sounded more like he said "Old Hag," instead of "Psycho Hag," and she hated being called old. She was still young, dammit!

"What was that? You want to keep the lights on full power? Well, sure! Good thing I'm a "Psycho Hag" otherwise I'd be mean and dim the lights!" she said dramatically, and obviously trying to act badly. "If you blow chunks, you're cleaning it up. Or the real Faris will. Either way, I don't give a crap. Now if you try to fall asleep and let the real Faris come out, I'll dim and eventually turn off the lights. I'm good at knowing what to look for in a lier, and I've already assessed the boy's personality from what I saw. So try and go to sleep or it's flashlights for you."

Natasha's thumb graced the odd sensation of how her skin felt now over the brand. She however stopped the motion as he lay next to her then his hand touched her. The motion he had done was soft, and far from rough when he pulled at her a bit. She did turn, and look at him as he his order actually sounded more of a request, or suggestion. Her hand now rested on her abdomen, and she looked now looked at him. Natasha's eyes also looked slightly salty from crying, and they were slightly red.

"So tired." She whispered softly about how he looked. She nearly matched his appearance. She too looked like she needed a years worth of sleep, but something kept her away from her dreams. Natasha bit her lower lip, and slowly lifted her right hand from her abdomen, and lifted it near her face. Her thumbnail brushed her lip.

Then lightly and slowly, she lifted the hand and used her index finger to lightly brush a strand with the others that rested on his cheek. Her finger went along his eyebrow, and under the lock of hair that rested on his cheek. She then retracted her hand slowly as to not disturb the other strands, and brought her hand and rested it back to her abdomen. Natasha then gave him a half smile, and her eyes began to shut.

It took Dove a while to get to the center of down town. for one thing, she needed to stay relatively out of sight, on the other hand she needed to try and make sue she wouldn't run into a corner, or be completely open to be shot at, nabbed bit and what-have-you. Needless to say this took quite a bit of back tracking. First, she need to get to a mission. Finally! she found one. It was in the basement of a catholic church.

She was greeted warmly by the staff and sent below to get a clean shower and some fresh clothes. Apparently they would be serving dinner soon, but she had to take a shower first. She shampooed her hair twice and did a thorough scrub on her body. The nun had apparently fished through the clothes and brought a 'youthful' selection for her. For this she was grateful. She picked out something versatile for changing conditions and more tight fitting so "they" had less to grab. It also had to blend in well. In the end she wound up with and off Grey off shoulder shirt, Light cotton jacket, Black lacy tank and a fresh pair of dark blue jeans. She kept her shoes because the nun brought in a beautiful new pair of black flats, but for running it wasn't so good. She thanks the nun who cheerily escorted her off to dinner. It took a while for Dove to eat her fill. She hadn't eaten in a while, and any food she could comfortably consume would be appropriate.

She knew she couldn't stay long, but she hoped to get a decent night's sleep in one of the cots down below. She parked at the back of the room by the door and lay below someone else's cot hoping to hide. The person was too drunk to care and so ignored her. She gradually shut her eyes and soon drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

This girl was certainly very . . . Interesting to say the least. Well, considering the fact that people generally started to act younger when they reached the mid-life crisis, and she definitely didn't look like she was quite that old yet. Even so, very few people now days would criticise the authorities while out in the public eye. The lollipop however, was completely normal. Who wouldn't want to have one of those while on the run: full of sugar, small, cheap, long lasting and can be eaten anytime, anywhere, very few things could match it really. Okay, so Euko's sudden evaluation on the usefulness of a lollipop was weird, but it was appropriate, so it was acceptable for this one time.

Aurora turned another corner to another alley that lead to home. Outside she saw Riven and the man from the park earlier. Guess this outing was a good one. We found two more in our family. Aurora thought to herself as she walked past the two and to the door. “I guess we need to get a different lock, one that everyone can use.” She giggled as the sound of leaves rustling inside moved away from the door. One of the vines twisted the handle from inside and pulled the door open. Walking inside, Aurora placed the apples she was carrying on the table beside the door. She took a deep breath once inside glad to be home with her children.

The room smelled like vegetation and the aroma of flowers filled the air. It was over grown with dozens of house plants that covered the floor. Their roots intertwining each other in the thin layer of soil that was once held in the now busted pots. The plants crept up the walls and across the ceiling the leaves making a canopy across the room. Across the room was the kitchen that was half flooded by the busted pipes under the sink and on the edge of the water stood an over grown Fiddle Leaf Fig. The trees branches pushed its way through the roof causing part of it to collapse into the room allowing some natural light in.

Aurora turned back to everyone waiting for them to come in. “Come on in. Don’t worry nothing in here will bite as long as you don’t poke it too much." She said jokingly, "There are plenty of rooms for everyone and a wash room right down the hall. Only the living room and kitchen look like this I made sure to leave the rooms alone in case we had guests. I don’t know about Riven but I have on one rule. Hurt my babies and I will kick your a**.” Aurora gave them all a kind smile but it was clear in her crystal blue eyes she was serious.
