Humans are natural borne idiots. They ignore those that shouldn’t be ignored or merely brushed off and forgotten. Beneath the human’s very noses, we have been lurking and hunting them, merging ourselves into the very crowds that wander the streets. Beneath their noses, we have existed.”—Arkady-Danite Tomas (Sanguis Innocentium) We smell of blood and are more than anyone can ever imagine… We are appealing to the eye… We are appealing to the senses… In this world, there are two clans… Two separate Vampire clans… But they were alike, in some ways… One believed in enslavement… The other believed in extinction… One day, both dreams become reality… The others…will never be destroyed… They were forced to live in darkness… Never revealing themselves to humans… Killing those who brought Vampires to the lime light… Darkness, a never ending punishment… Two separate Vampire clans… Both with similar ideas… Carpe Noctum – Seize the Night… Carpe Diem – Seize the Day… Noctum for enslavement… Diem for Extinction… And so the story begins. Vampires have been hiding. Not so much in fear, but in cautiousness. We aren’t what fables depict us to be. We can walk in sunlight, given the right protection: sun block. We don’t shape shift into bats, mist or whatever else that the movies portray we can do. And we don’t turn into ugly creatures when we’re angry. Yes, we change some when enraged, but we don’t change into butt-ugly critters with no noses and the intelligence that rivals that to an early violent cave man. If eaten, garlic gives us bad breath. If splashed with holy water, we get wet. Crucifixes do not harm us in anyway, though it’s funny to react as if we are being harmed when faced with one. The legend that we can’t cross running water is a stupid, silly myth. The myth that we sleep in coffins is absurd. Have you ever heard of Claustrophobia? Yeah, vampires can have it too. We prefer cryogenic freezers or beds, depending on the person. A stake to the heart causes paralysis. Holy grounds are just dirt and do not affect us. Oh and…we can reproduce, despite what anyone else, book or ‘vampire expert’ says. Though it’s dangerous to do so, and very rarely to do the mothers, if they are vampires, survive, but it can be done. A human mother pregnant with a vampire male’s baby can birth the child and still come out alive. However, a vampire mother dies, most of the time, as, technically, their bodies are dead. Any other legend that I missed is simply that: a myth. There are two; maybe 3 ways to kill a vampire, but you can figure that out by yourselves. Welcome, mortals, to the War of Vampires. For each post you make, I expect at least 3 paragraphs. I will accept a paragraph, but make sure you do 11-13 sentences. Absolutely no one liners!!!! I understand writers block, but please at least have at least 6-8 sentences. Even if you have to resort to rambling. I do it all the time if I have a writers block or nothing to work off of, but I also include my characters feelings, all of his/her 5 senses, and so on. Now that that's out of the way...Please use correct grammar, spelling, and complete sentences. No run on sentences, capitalize when needed, et cetera, et cetera. No text talk or substitute words for: 'because' for 'cuz' or 'though' for 'tho' or 'you' for 'u' or 'are' for 'r'. D0n't u53 5tuff l!k3 th!5 b3cau53 !t !5 ann0y!ng. Do not use caps lock for any situation unless you are trying to make a point: "Unless Ana DID do it, then they would have a reason to execute her." Got it? Anyway, please, don't use the quote things because it makes the rp look ugly. I understand if the person your rping with last posted 2-3 pages back, but if its on the same page, DO NOT USE IT!!!! l ⋆ l Please use the profile skeleton provided. Do not change anything in the profile skeleton!!! I put it there for a reason. All profile's are PM'ed. Do not post them. Please, for the sake of other rp'ers. No Mary Sue's or Gary Stu's. AKA: Perfect People. Before you can send a profile,however, you have to reserve your chosen character and title your pm, "Carpe Diem " if you want to reserve a spot in Carpe Diem(The Human killers) . Title your pm, "Carpe Noctem" if you want to reserve a spot in Carpe Noctom (Human enslavers). And then title your pm "Furnulum pani nolo" if you want to reserve a character in the Human's group. Also include with the Reservation the title of the character you want to play and a 2-3 paragraph roleplay sample. For your character picture, it needs to be a real life picture. Preferably a Lolita styled person. If you need help with this, PM me with the words HELP~ and I will gladly help you. If I accept your rp sample, send your profile in a separate pm titled the role of your character. l ⋆ l Boldify and colorize speech. Italicize and colorize thoughts. No blinding colors. No way pale colors. No Goddmodding, power playing, Mary sues. Ect. You know, the normal stuff. You are only allowed approximately 1-2 characters. Please, don't ask to play them and not play them. I hate it when people ask for a character and don't play them because they just want to hold them. I don't do it to you, so don't do it to me. Post pictures and names, and colors. SasuxNaru loves colors like she loves her wolf. Try to use smaller text sizes for example, 9-10. It may just be me but 11 and higher for normal posting looks sloppy. Keep this PG-13. That goes for romance and violence. Keep it under control people. I do accept yaoi and yuri, but no cybering, what.so.ever. If I see it, you will most likely be banned from the roleplay.
