[Aki Ameko]

Aki gave him a rather cross, skeptical look. "Right. Not following me... Like I believe that one..." I'll have to test his word later...

"Wow." Aki said, looking at him sarcastically. "Life story... Nice one..."

"Psh, fair's fair? No way." Aki stuck her tongue out at Ryuu and pouted unpleasantly. "I don't have to tell you anything. I don't feel like it." She stuck her nose in the air in a rather snobby manner, and tried to get her horse to go a little further than him, but was only slightly successful.

Something about that attitude rather rubbed Ryuu the wrong way. Her tone in general. She just being a down right...stuck up...well...Witch! He found it most appaling that she would not share any details of herself with him eaither. That was like travlers law!

Huffing, he opened his mouth, but stopped himself from speeking. Instead he watched as the elf-witch attempted to get herself moving more quickly ahead of himself.

'You want to be ahead of me...fine...let me give you a hand.', he smirked like the devil, as he slipped a crop from his saddle bag. Aki was far enough ahead she wouldn't see his movement, thus quick and swiftly whipped Haru on her back flank. Or tried to...Haru suddenly reared, startled by something. The mare panickedly rushed off at a full gallop.

Sensing movement, Aki turned her head just in time to see Ryuu strike down with his hand, and Haru reared back and started galloping away full-speed.

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!" Aki screamed as she held tightly to the mare's reins, having no idea where the horse might take her in such a fright. She jerked the reins over and over to try and get the horse to stop. "STOP!! HARU, STOP!! STOP NOW!! WOOOOA!!"

"Wha---!?", Ryuu stared befumbled after Aki and Haru, befumbled and confused. Suke trampled his feet skittishly in an annoyed manner.
"What are you talking about. I didn't do a thing.", Ryuu stuck his nose up all to 'innocently'. "Besides...she deserved it, wench..."
Suke snorted and stamped hsi feet anxiously. "Alright alright! I'll go after her! Shesh, you act like my mother..." Ryuu grumbled into Suke's ear frustraitedly. The horgon reared himself and galloped after Haru and Aki, huffing with each leap of a gallop.

'Dammit. If she gets hurt, It isn't my fault. I didn't do anything.' It wasn't hard for Ryuu to catch up to Haru. Horgons were wicked fast and swift as though they had wings on their feet. Coming to Haru's side, he tried to snatch the second set of reins. Though even as he tugged, the Mare wouldn't slow.
'What the hell spooked her?', he thought to himself. Even his influence wouldn't bring her to a slow.

Amidst her panicking, Aki noticed that Ryuu was now beside her, trying to make the horse slow down. Aki's panic and rage blew up inside her. "RYUU, YOU b*****d!!! STOP THIS THING, NOW!!! I'LL CURSE YOU, I SWE--EYEEEEH!!!" Just then the horse jumped a rather large stump, and the large movement caused Aki to fall off.

"EGH!" She cried weakly, lying on the ground. Her arm felt extremely painful, and she didn't dare look at it for fear of what she might see.

Don't ask...

Ryuu gave another yank at the reins, only to be forced to release when Haru lept from the ground to dodge an on coming stump. Things slowed down in splitshot scenes from there. First Aki rising with the horse, then falling. Missing the saddle... Falling... falling... hitting the ground. It seemed to happen so slowly, but it happened so fast he missed the chance to save her from the fall. Leaping off his own steed nimbly, Ryuu left the Horgon to chase after the spooked mare. He himself stumbled off to look after Aki.

He felt growing pains in his stomach when he saw her on the ground. 'Serves her right.' he looked scornfully away, guilt ridden in his face. You idiot, what were you thinking?! "Tch...Are you hurt?", he asked concern taking over. I didn't do anything. It wasn't me. I swear.
What was that feeling swelling inside? That pain...that gut feeling?
That arm. He didn't have to check her out to know. It was broken. Fractured in the very least.

"HURT?! YES, I'M HURT, YOU b*****d!!" Aki winced painfully as her frustrated movements caused her arm some trauma. "I knew I should never have trusted you..." She muttered under her breath. Although now, she might not have a choice--she didn't see herself getting up and taking care of herself right away. She started to cry from the frustration, anger, and pain of it all.

As soft as her voice may have been, Ryuu heard her words loud and clear, plain as day as though she may have well screamed them in his face. And that hurt. It was probably the truth, but who ever said the truth didn't hurt?

"Who ever said you trusted me in the first place?", he replied somberly. Don't cry, don't cry, Please don't cry. Ryuu couldn't stand to see tears. To hear tears. To even smell the tears of another being. That gut feeling wretched and twisted at his insides, it made his throat dry, his voice was probably hoarse.

It wasn't my fault. He dropped himself slowly down to Aki's level and reached for her arm. "Let me see.", he told her bluntly, tugging at her sleeve. It wasn't my fault.

Reluctantly, Aki shifted so that Ryuu could get a better look at her arm. b*****d... She thought stubbornly, turning her head away from him and the tears still pouring down. She didn't know what to think of him now... She only wanted the pain to stop, and she'd do whatever he told her to for the sake of healing.

I didn't mean it. ". . ." Ryuu took the limb with tender care. 'Mortals...how sickeningly fragile...' I never meant to hurt her. Just scare her abit.
". . .", He removed his glove from his free hand with his teeth, revealing his hand to which bore inhumanly sharp nails. Or claws, as one might put it. Staring blankly at her arm, he loosen the wrist clasp and pushed the sleev up her arm. His claws were then drawn down her arm from the joint to the wrist.
"Gew yew shtill haf he sheepe Piwit hewu?"

Aki flinched as she felt the clawed hand on her skin, and had to get a look at what he was doing. She had to hold her breath to keep herself from gasping out loud, because what she saw did indeed look like claws. HE'S NOT HUMAN... I DON'T THINK HE'S EVEN AN ELF! She thought as the sight of it gave her a sick feeling in her stomach. With the sharp nails and the way he was holding her arm, Aki felt like a wounded animal being examined for the best parts to be eaten by a predator.

"Wh-what?!" Aki said softly but intensely, now staring at Ryuu with what was now fear that she couldn't seem to hide. "I-I don't understand you..."

"Hnn?" Ryuu stare at Aki like she was some kind of idiot. 'Can't she understand simple....oh..wait..' Ryuu shook his head slightly before spitting out the glove. He'd never dropped it from his mouth. He left like an idiot know, which didn't help his situation much.

"I said, Do you still have the Sleep Spirit hair?" Without warning, Ryuu pinched Aki's arm with his claws, making a nice clean p***k. From which a fine bubble of crimson began to form. He brought his ungloved hand to his lips and bit down on his thumb with his eye teeth, or rather what would be called fangs in his standings.

"Get it out, if you can."

"Eck!" Aki cried as Ryuu pinched her arm. She wrenched it out of Ryuu's grip immediately, and covered the wound with the sleeve of her other hand. HE PINCHED ME. Was all her mind could process. Aki was only becoming more and more scared of him. WHAT IS HE, AND WHAT THE HECK IS HE DOING?!

"What for?!" Aki asked, strangled anxiety evident in her voice. "TELL ME WHAT FOR!!"

"Tch, Your Arm is broken. If you keep moving it around like that, you're only going to damage yourself more."

Ryuu snatched her wrist and pulled her arm back, trying to be gentle, though in her state of shock, as it were, it was hard not to cause pain.

Holding her arm out, Ryuu pressed his bleeding thumb against Aki's skin, mixing their blood. He brought his thumb out, making a smear, then dragged it in a circle. Using the tip of his thumb, he made a quick drawing of a few ancient writing symbols. "Now do you have it or don't you?"

"EYIGH!" Aki squirmed, but she couldn't avoid Ryuu snatching her arm back and mixing his blood with her own. The sight of it only made her more disgusted.

Staring him down angrily, Aki had no choice but to comply. "It's in my pouch, you a**." She said vilely, indicating the pouch that was slung around her waist. I WILL NOT STAND THIS ANYMORE. FIRST CHANCE I GET, I'M OUT OF HERE!
