"Oh...okay..." Usa replied slowly at news of Ryuu's where abouts. Rubbing her eyes and giggling at Daniels joke about Vent, although Daniel probably wasn't kidding, the child smiled against a pat to the head. "Um. Usa-chan would much perfer berries please. Berries and carrots."

Cooing at the thought of ripe orange carrots, Usa sighed pleasntly. "Carrots, I love carrots! But not as much as I like Berries. "

With the softest 'tupt', Ryuu landed on the next tree branch in the forest canopy. What prey tell, though, was he doing outside of Sanctuary? Upon leaving Vent to gather up their transport, he learned from the stable lads that a certain demonic horse had taken it upon himself to go hunting. He didn't blame the stable boys for letting Ryuunosuke go, either. He could vary well handle himself. Of course, with Outsiders about, Ryuu knew very well that horgon wasn't out for any plain-jane breakfast. Outsider was more than likely on the menu.

"Loyal to the end...", Ryuu thought to himself about Suke, the phrase heavy with exageration that held more truth than he wished. If he knew the horgon, he was out for more than just a gourmet meal; but rather revenge for his master.

Sighing heavily, wishing Suke had chosen a better time to seek retribution, he steadied himself and sought out the far below forest floors, seeking some sign of Ryuunosuke. Eyes raising to the canopy area around him, Ryuu cupped his hands around his mouth, sending an echoing birdlike call into the air. Then waited and listened.

Aki was sleeping, perfectly sound, perfectly fine. Until the lightest, sudden brush of her cheek woke her from her delicate slumber.

"MEEP!!" Aki's hand came up and knocked Kiba's own hand right into his nose. "Whatjguva......Kiba??" Aki said, putting her hand to her cheek. "Omigosh, Kiba, I'm so sorry!!" And as quick as she could Aki fetched her pouch and retrieved her healing amulet. She hovered it over his nose and muttered a few words before smiling. "There, that should be better. No harm done, right?"

With that Aki through the covers off of her an began retrieving her boots. "So I presume you were sent to wake me up? Sorry you had to be the victim of my reflexes... I'm...rather cautious in my sleep, you see..." She was kind of rambling to herself by that point, and blushing slightly.

"So where's Usa and all the jerks? Ryuu'd better have some breakfast ready for me..." It seemed Aki had assumed the attitude of a pampered Princess, and only seemed to care for Kiba and Usa. Aki had fully dressed by this point and was headed for the door. "...Either that or you can make me some pancakes like you promised." Aki gave him a cute little grin to go along with the statement.

Time passed a little more by and Ryuu finally located Ryuunosuke. With a grunt on impact, Ryuu dropped to the ground from a high branch. Quickly sheilding his nose as he approched the Horgon, who fed vigoruously upon one of three black ashen skined, winged bodies. Their stench, not of death, was pungent.
"Ugh....I hope they do not taste as horrid as they smell..." Suke responded with a light toss of his head as he tore at the creatures dark flesh.

Ryuu stare at Ryuunosuke scorningly. "Well I hope you've filled your pallet, glutton. We have a journey to complete." As he pulled at Suke's mane to drag him from his 'vengeful' meal, the sight of the plentiful leftovers tugged a growl from Ryuu's own stomach. He cringed inwardly, a distasteful glower overcoming his features.

Suke nickered at his master, bobbing his head invitingly to the feast. Ryuu chastfully declined with a click of his tongue. "Not even if it was the last creature in Marchen....It wreaks...Horridly...." Tugging the horgon further from the dead outsiders, He mounted up on the creatures back beackoned him on.
"I'll pick something off along the way...something that doesn't wreak...", he muttered to himself. Suke whinnied a high-low sound. "I am not picky...I'm reserved..."
