Better threats would be thought of later, right now, he only cared for the safty of little Usa. His companions he knew were quite all right. Kirie, most likely hiding out and Daniel resting somewhere. The priest had been pushing himself as of late.

Vent paused in his stride when Ryuu spoke those words. He ignored them and pressed on. (not because I’m lazy or anything…>> wink A little time passed before the vampire stumbled upon Usa’s room that she apparently was sharing with Daniel.

The red head had been gleeful in the surprise looks at he being free from his cell. Straightening out his clothes, he knocked while opening the door. “Little Usa-Usa?” he called into the room.

He came to blink at the sight before him. Seeing Daniel with a child on him in what appeared a sweet gesture…was really creepy. “Danny-boy playing caring man?”

The ex-priest groaned softly, “…go away…you give me a headache sometimes Vent…shoo…”

Just as Kirie had told him before, Daniel indeed was not dead. He was baffled, really, to find the man laying in bed, as if he'd never been stone cold and pulse less just a few hours ago. (assuming time like this has passed for the sake of time lapse) He passed Ventura and approached the side of the bed, frowning softly at Usagi and then smiling bemusedly. It was rather cute.

"I'm sorry. Before I couldn't get Usagi to leave you're side..when you were...how say...under the tomb. Let me take her, if you want, I'm sure you'd like a bed to yourself for a while?"

A figure lurked in the shadow of the streets, stalking after Aki as she wanderer the streets alone. Another seemed to watch from ahead, and two more leaping swiftly out of sight from above before she could see them.

Daniel seemed to brighten at seeing Ryuu. It was a better sight than the old vampire, at least Ryuu was amusing. “I can be like that when I’m at the brink of death….though Ryuu, I thought you knew what I was…”

Shaking his head, which surprised himself, “No, you can leave her…she’s still sleeping nicely away.”

“Whoa…I’ve died again…” Vent remarked with a snicker.

The priest glared, “Watch it Vamp…my powers are almost to normal.”

“Scary.”
“It is.”
The red head sighed, “Well, I’m staying here…Little Usa needs someone that isn’t a deranged man-erm-thing.”
Daniel rolled his eyes, “Isn’t there a command to silence him in the least?”

"Ah..yes..I know, but I don't know everything about you, or the extents of what that body of yours can do..sort of. Besides, It's not often you see a dead man raise from the dead....I sometimes forget with whom I travel."

Excepting Daniel request to leave Usa, and that he was fine with where she was, he backed away. Then grinned as Daniel and Vent bickered some.
"With words, no. By hand, yes." As he said this, Ryuu reached out to his side, smacking his hand over the vampires mouth. He jerked it away just as quickly, holding something triangular, red, and fleshy looking between his claws. Vent would soon realize he was missing a certain muscle from his mouth.

"Cat got your tongue?", he asked with a smirk. He remembered how once this trick had baffled and amused Vent, while somewhat scaring him in past decades. though now, he could only assume it would anger the vampire.

((Translation: Excuses, If you hated me with such passion, you would not let Usagi's love for me get in the way of my undoing...))

Okay, Ryuu was on Daniel’s number one list, at the very top, out shinning of course himself. The fact that he did that so easily and with out fail just made him laugh slightly, but not so much as to disturb the young girl.

Emerald eyes flared with utter anger at this trick considering the vampire at first thought Ryuu was merely slapping his hand over his mouth to shut him up. He would have screamed foul curses and words at Ryuu but yes, at the moment the b*****d had his tongue.

Without thought or thinking, a trait of Vent, he slammed his master to the ground, clasping tightly to Ryuu’s wrist, pinning him down for now. If looks could kill, Vents’ would have murdered him ten folds.

“Now that I call bloody great.” Daniel remarked, rather amused by this whole thing. He knew the vampire wouldn’t try and pull any crap here…No, he was wrong. The vampire was trying to rip Ryuu’s throat.

"Oof!" Ryuu gasped as he hit the floor hard, one hand pinned, the other free and holding the detached tongue. He peered up at Vent, laughing at how angry he was, even as the Vampires free hand lunged for his throat. "Agh! Stop! Stop you heathen, Eh! Or I'll do something that will leave you mute for all eternity! Gatch!" He coughed as a hand wrung his throat. Ryuu clutched the tongue into a fist, and swung his arm up under Vents neck, trying to push him off, Or at least far enough away that he couldn't reach his throat.

The vampire wasn’t going to let him go, not without gaining back his tongue and also taking a piece out of Ryuu. He didn’t want to be messed with. Screw to the fact that he said he’d behave. He found that the contract was breeched (in a sense) when Ryuu pulled this crap.

‘You can’t keep me mute! Give it back!’ Vent sent with rage. His grip tighten around his master’s throat. ‘hand it over!’

Vent fought against the attempt of being shoved off, so instead of the throat now, be moved just enough to have his fangs graze Ryuu’s hand, ‘give it back!’

“Vent, stop the fighting…you’ll wake up Usa, and what do you think..she’ll think of you doing this to her brother?” Daniel said, keeping his eyes on the child, the little blur she was. He needed his glasses.

Ventura paused, giving Ryuu the time to get him.

He thought it kind of low, using Usa to keep the Vampire at bay. Even if it was a good thing. Still, he'd rather be able to keep Ventura at bay with simple authority. With the vampire stilled, he glared right back, but grinning all the same. Minus the violence, it felt kind of like old times. He waggled the tongue in Vents face, then pulled it away.
"That's you think....Off, now. Or I'll eat it...." As disgusting as it might sound, he'd probably do it, considering what he was. To him, meat was meat.

Vent blinked when the tongue was taunted in his face once more. He couldn’t believe he had been swayed to pause in his assault by mere words. Yes, he cared for the child and didn’t want to disappoint her despite how much he wanted to murder Ryuu. He’d have to wait for them to be alone.

‘you wouldn’t dare….I’d tell Usa!’ he stammered back in thoughts. His hand drifted from Ryuu’s neck and he slowly got up and accidentally kicked Ryuu with his foot when he walked over him.

‘give it back you sod,’ Vent sent as he went to crawl into the bed that wasn’t being used. He almost curled up like a pet would, and was quite glaring at his master.

“Well, that was amusing…so, when do we set off? I’m growing quite bored of this place…” Daniel said as his hand stroked Usa’s hair. “I mean…well, what is our journey? Mine, his,” he indicated Vent, “and Kibas’ was crime…or more so mine…which reminds me…where is that cherry?”

Damn, the Vampire obeyed him. And to think he was looking forward to a snack. He watched Vents motions as he move away and to a spare bed. Getting to his own feet, he rubbed his side where Vent had stepped on him. the brat.
"Tell Usagi all you want. It won't hurt me none....", he glowered, still tempted for that snack. He dangled the tongue infront of him, then eyed vent from the corner of his eyes. he shrugged, and popped the spongey morsel into his mouth, apparently chewing and swallowing it nearly hole. He grinned wickedly, waiting for a look of shock of the vampires face, and then something else when the Vampire would realise he had his tongue back in his mouth.

Smirking, he went to sit in a chair near Daniels bed, pulling it up close."Firstly, Kiba is present Kira." In other words, he was presently Kirie. "And Secondly, whether you and your friends follow is up to you. I am presently making way to A Demri across the country, as well as looking for safe heaven for Aki. I fear I've dragged the poor girl into Godly affairs. The Outsiders have her scent now, too..."

Ventura perked up his head when his precious tongue was being taunted at him again which only made him grumble somewhat, or at least to the extent of his ability. His eyes widen in utter horror of what his master just did. He freakin ate his tongue!

“YOU BAS-HEY!.....I can talk….?” Vent said, tilting his head as if uncertain of this. “speak..Ryuu…b*****d….ah! That wasn’t funny.” He pouted, wishing he had ripped out Ryuu’s throat. He’d like to see him survive that one.

The vampire grumbled curses and calling Ryuu foul names. He didn’t try anything for now, just sulk in his space given to him.

Daniel shook his head. What a pair, he thought to himself. It almost seemed Vent was behaving more than usual. Perhaps the shock of having ones tongue eaten could do that to someone. He knew the Vamp’s bratty attitude would return later.
“Ah, the little vixen….Hrm? To that place?” the ex priest arched a brow, “there are no safe places for anyone these days…this place isn’t…” since he was able to leave freely and enter back without trouble. It wouldn’t be long until this place fell if things kept the way they were.

“Huh, why not give her a bath? That’ll get ride of certain scents.” Daniel offered with a grin, “though seriously, you cannot do this alone. You’ll need aid, help…there are certain places that the three of us can hide you in on your journey….but of course you can decline and sadly that’ll just leave me with cherry since Vent is bound to you.”

“Don’t remind me….” The vampire whined.

“and well…Kiba is quite useless in a fight unless of course he turns into Kirie…poor boy is a good mule, not a fighter..but,” Daniel said, poking at Ryuu, “you could teach him.”

Ah, it was worth it to see the expression of the Vampires face when he ate his tongue. Ah, was he ever glad Aki wasn't around.She'd have been utterly appalled.

"You needn't tell me, Priest, what is safe and what is not. I know very well the precautions of this country. More than I sometimes desire to know...."
At the suggestion of giving Aki a bath, he snorted. it brought to mind the time he dumped the poor girl into a lake when she'd let her temper get the better of her, and him.
"Not alone, indeed. Not with this girl to babysit and Usagi on my hip.", he muttered to himself. He eyed the finger prodding his chest, then raised his eyes to Daniel. "Teach?" He had yet to teach Aki to properly ride a damn horse. Each time her thought he had the chance, the Outsiders were hot on their heels. "I suppose I can teach him to brawl, until I can acquire the proper weapons for teaching him, any how. Does this mean that you will be joining my party? if so, I should war you....Marchen in on the verge of war again....Outsiders are appearing all over Marchen, they say it may turn out like the wars of ages long past....."

Daniel gave a side smirk to this warning. He had seen many wars raged in his times. This though, would be his first war to be apart of, and he was looking forward to it. Though he kept that to himself not wanting to appear war mongering(..think that’s the right word).

“It would do the boy some good, since its dangerous for him to rely on Kirie…too much of that and he’s dead..” Daniel mentioned unsure if the lady had done so already. He was never certain with that woman. “Look, I may appear young and good looking but I have more years than you can think of Ryuu-boy.”

The priest glanced towards Vent whom still was grumbling in curses, “You have my party in yours. Joining is the fad anyway, all the lunatics are doing it.” he chuckled, “and I can handle myself with war, I do have the ability to…O’persuade people…at least if I want to give this form up which I’ve taken a good liking too, mind you…”

He brushed a few strands of black hair from his face, “I could even try getting my brothers and sisters to aid us…then we’d have a great chance in war…nothing beats stars,” his eyes glowed green at the mention of this.
“….well then, I grow tired, despite how much I’m enjoying this chat..oh…here,” he slipping a hand underneath the covers and searched a hidden pocket in his shirt. He found what he was looking for.

“Give this to Kirie…I thought I could sell it but then I thought she’d hand me something of mine that I like…” Daniel held Kiba’s ring, “…I switched it with a fake….a really good one…”

It was a bit of a deal then. He'd teach Kiba to fight, as Daniels group traveled with his. They were better off in numbers. And Aki would probably be a lesser stick in his side with company she would probably deem better than he. And according to what he'd seen of her and the red head when their parties first met, Kiba was just that better company. he wondered to himself distantly, what did the cherry head have that he didn't? he quickly dismissed the thought with a grumble.

"Indeed, Stars. That magic of yours is awesome. Should a war truly be coming upon us, your brethren and sisters will be of utmost appreciated help." Thinking of assets, he wondered if the Kaidoz would assist in any coming war. Doubtful, as none of them seemed to ever take their roles seriously anymore, leaving the fighting to Marchen alone.

"Hm?" Ryuu gawked at the ring and blanched. He took the ring and turned it over in his hands again and again. It really was Kiba's ring...wasn't it? Had the one Kirie had shown him been a fake, really? He paled with a worried look, "Remind me never to let you into my castle.....", he mumbled. If this had tricked him into thinking kirie had shown him the real thing, who knew what Daniel could muster if he ever got his hands on anything back home?

His enlarged number of family would be of great aid. It was just the convincing them to aid him when he had been thrown out the way he had been. Now that wasn’t a concern, when the time came, he’d worry about it. For now, Daniel was pleased at the expression upon Ryuu’s features. One word described it nicely, ‘priceless’. For there are things money can’t by, for everything else there’s deceit.

“Oh that’s a little bit harsh. I just couldn’t help myself with it. The ring is just odd in my mind. Sides, the cherry made no notion he knew it wasn’t real…then again, how are you going to know what you bear now is the real thing?” he asked with that all knowing smile of his.

Content with himself he closed his eyes, “Now if you’d hurry along and deliver….we can move on with our ‘quest’…though perhaps the worst tasks is making sure your girly girl doesn’t get jealous of seeing you with someone else…I think she would…”

Its not like he cared or anything. Daniel didn’t think he was on good terms with Aki just yet. Usa, he believed was on well enough terms since the child kept his body from being taken.
