Welcome to Gaia! ::

Still turned away and pent up with emotion, Aki's words exploded out of her mouth before she knew what she was saying. "'DEAL WITH IT'??!! HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF I SUDDENLY SHOWED UP SHIRTLESS AND WET??!!" She slapped her hands over her mouth in horror, realizing what she had just said. But it was too late...the deed was done.

Ryuu raised a slender brow rather cooly, staring at Aki's back. That cute little back. He smiled, then smikered when hearing those rather awkward series of words escaping Aki's lips.

"Well now...I guess that all depends on the situation. Though more or less I'd feel either lucky, in trouble, or ...ah...Whooo...", Ryuu stopped there. "Ah...Been around that damn dog too much...", he muttered, knocking on the side of his head with his knuckles

He cleared his throat into said fist. "Anyway, point taken." Ryuu made quick to wring his hair out before snapping his shirt up. He'd wear it in the least. He didn't bother with tucking in or any such, rather just pulled his hair to the side and cidely combed his claws through his hair.
Aki went an even DEEPER shade of red, (if at all possible) and felt as if she were going to faint from his answer. Instead, she merely grabbed her blanket and started breathing heavily into it as an effort to calm herself down. "GOOD." She was finally able to say. But she still kept her back stubbornly toward him. She was too embarrassed to show her face now.

Despite being nervous about her reply to his reply, Ryuu found this situation amusing. He rather wouldn't have minded if Aki had decided to get up and beat him for his answer. He'd have deserved it. And been amused as well.

Instead, though, Aki merely replied with a flustered, good, adn went on with nibbling upon her blanket. At least to him that's what it looked like. His other assumtion was that she was blushing and trying to hide it.....yup. Tuning into his sences, he found the ability to listen in to her inner spirit. Her heart was a racing, pumping more blood to her face than else where. It made him snicker.

'I'll bet she looks cuter than usual with that blush on her face.' he was abit despressed she decided to remain turned away from him. Sighing heavily, Ryuu went about with cooking their breakfast, shuffling through a grazing Ryuunosuke's saddle bag for canteens and food bags. Though paused realising they were in Aki's instead.

"That's right...Usagi, stop gorging adn eat slowly. you'll get a tummy ache." Usagi froze in eatting suddenly, and began to eat more slowly. She giggled abit as she popped one berry instead of five into her mouth.

Movign from his place, Ryuu went to Haru and gave her a nice pat on the neck before stiffling threw her rather empty saddle bags. "Ah ha. there you are." Ryuu smiled to himself pleased. And for more than having found the canteens. Glancing from the corner of his eyes, he could see Aki's blush. "Hm...I was right...", he stiffled to himself with a chuckle.
Aki flinched slightly when Ryuu came near her, but was relieved that he didn't bother her any...at least not to her knowledge. She merely continued to sit there with her face buried in her blanket, not wanting to come out at all. Although once the smell of breakfast reached her nose, she might have to. But for now she refused to give Ryuu the pleasure of her face nor her voice.

He remained where he stood at Haru's saddle, unable to take the advantage of this sight. It was too good to let pass him by. Though smelling breakfast getting a little warm, he managed to pry himself away. Chuckling to himself once more, Ryuu crouched/bent to Aki's side with a stiffle.
"You know, I wouldn't normally pay the female gender much mind. But....your kinda cute when you blush..." Ryuu hummed as he hurried set a hunk of cheese and bread atop a canteen besides Aki before moving away to save the fish from the fire.
'...Kinda cute when you blush...'

The words pounded in her head, and made a shock go up her back. '...And you're cute when you're scared too...and when you try to fight back, but you can't... Infact, you're just always cute...' The words from the past echoed painfully in her mind. She feared them. Hated them. Wanted to destroy them, but could only run from them. So that's what she did.

Immediately Aki ran off into the trees, in a new fit of tears. She couldn't handle sticking around Ryuu any longer. He brought back more than she ever wanted to think about.

Usa choked upon her mouthful of berries, coughing and spitting some up. Pointing after Aki, she glare at Ryuu accusingly. "Oni-san!? What'd you do THIS time!?", she scolded to the obvious adult. She frown heavily at Ryuu whom merely gawked in utter shock and confusion in the direction Aki had gone, quickly dissapearing into the thicket of trees and brush.
"What are you waiting for, you big meanie head!" Usa teared up and began to beat on Ryuu's side.

"Ah, I--I didn't...mean...I mean I...Al I did ...gah...!" Ryuu set the fish down and tried warding off Usa. "Usagi--knock it off! I'm going, I'm going!" He was already stumbling to his feet before Usa had begun her onslaught.

"Hurry, Hurry! If I don't get to see Aki-Ane ever again, I'll hate you for ever, big brother!", Usa called out, which in turn only made Ryuu grumble and roll his eyes. She would though. That girl had easily made an attachment to Aki, and she'd hate him forever if that's what it took...

"What was it...What'd I do? All I said was...", He pondered allowed to himself, pushing trhough the brush and starting after Aki. He wondered a brief moment what it was he'd said before she'd run off.
"Ah...Something tells me...", he muttered with a frown. "Me and my big mouth. I've hit a tender spot, haven't I?"

"Aki!", Ryuu called, rushing through the trees. He could smell her tears. She wasn't very far ahead. He could see her dodging through the trees. "Aki, hold up! What are running for!?"
"GO AWAY!!" Aki screamed back at him, face full of tears. She picked up her pace, and soon she rounded a tree. With a forceful wave of her hand, she knocked the tree over on its side magically, putting a rather large barrier between her and Ryuu. She continued on at full speed.

Soon Aki found herself at the edge of a lake, (possibly the same one Ryuu had gone fishing in) and she began venting her rage and frustration by making huge water spouts errupt from its depths. "NEVER...AGAIN...WILL I...LET ANYONE...TAKE...ADVANTAGE OF ME!!!!" With each group of words she punched her fist into the air, causing another spout of water to errupt.

"Ah...", Ryuu shorted rather suddenly, sencing danger. And no sooner did the cree of a tree and snapping wood fill the air as a rather large tree twisted round, collapsing in his path. He would have gone on, though paused. He senced...smelled...a magical barriar. Huffing, Ryuu tucked in his shirt and then lunged. He swiped at the invisiable barrier, easily destroying it and leaping over the great tree, as though it were merely a twig in his path.

By the time he reached Aki, she was haulted from running and resting at the edge of the lake he'd been fishing in earlier. 'I think breakfast will be cold when we get done here,' He thought to himself, watching with a pitied and pain filled gaze as Aki set her venting upon the lake. Such anger...

'Advantage?', he wondered to himself, wondering just what had happened inher past life. He shook his head to himself and easily stepped foreward in silence. he gave it a moment before easily grasping her hand before she could set a punch at the lake again. it wasn't very tight. but enough to keep her from the onsluaght at the lake or so she could pull away if she so pleased.

"Stop that. You'll drain yourself using up all that energy. Besides. I don't think the fish would be very happy if you continued to damage their home."
He spoke solft, almost scoldingly. He wasn't going to raise his voice. he knew that would only scare her.
Ryuu grabbed her hand, and Aki instinctively whirled around and punched him hard in the face before pulling it away. "Shut up!" She said, but she knew he was right. She didn't want to sap away all her power on something so pointless.

"Didn't I tell you to stay away from me?!" She demanded, with a look of disgust on her face. Aki turned and stomped away from him, kicking whatever dirt or rocks she found in her way.

Thanks to his reflexes, ryuu was able to avoid being hit by Aki's full force. Her first grazed his cheek, making it feel like for of a smack than a punch. Even if she had hit him withher full force, he doubted it have hurt much. Insinctively letting her go, Ryuu brushed his fingers past his cheek and whistled. "That smarts abit.", he replied to her demanding tone.

"Yes. Yes you did. But why in the mages names did you hit me for? Your acting crazy. I didn't do anything to you."
he wouldn't raise his voice by much. He was going to be as calm as possible about this. He was curious.
". . . ." Ryuu stare after Aki for a moment, shaking his head and rolling his eyes; Before he started after her, shoving his hands into his pockets.
Aki turned toward him, face puffed up in rage. "Crazy, am I??! Well fine then! Leave the crazy girl alone before she goes and gives you another perty mark on your face!!" With that she spit on the ground at Ryuu's feet, then turned and continued stomping off.

"Thanks for the concern. I think I'm pretty enough as it is." He rubbed the small mark ner his chin Aki had left just minute ago. it wouldn't become a bruise any time soon. Just remain as a scuff. His body was hurriedly heeling said scuff either way.

Ryuu continued to follow Aki, like a stroll through the park. Only...this wasn't any park, and most strolls were abit more...happy. This wasn't anything close to happy cheerful or anything of the sort.
Aki continued stomping along, shooting a firey glance behind her at him every now and then. "Stalker." She muttered accusingly, although it was plenty loud enough for him to hear. "STALKER." She said again, this time more loudly and sarcastically. "Stalker, stalkity stalker who stalks, won't leave me alone stalker, thinks he can do whatever he wants stalker, shameless flirt of a perverted stalker, and old on top of that, just a PERVERTED OLD STALKING MAN!!!" She stuck her tongue out at him in a rude manner before continuing along her way.
