Ryuu couldn't help but smirk. Such a mouth on such a pretty face. Letting an exaggerated sigh excape his lips, he returned his eyes to Aki's. "Well? What are you waiting for? Get it out before I change my mind."

Ryuu glanced back down to Aki's arm. His thumb was clotting already. he bite it again, and drew over the markings on Aki's arm in his blood again. It wasn't alot, just a small bit, maybe two or three square inchse worth of smeared blood.
Only becoming more and more disgusted, Aki decided that the only way to spare herself was to comply and get the Sleep Spirit hair out herself. "a**." She muttered again.

"HERE." She said, handing him the hair roughly. "DO SOMETHING WITH IT BEFORE I CURSE YOU SENSELESS."

Ryuu glowered at the hair shoved in his face, though lightened his gaze as his eyes travled along the hand and arm attached to it meeting Aki's eyes for a brief moment. Sighing and averting his gaze, Ryuu took the single strand.

"Nettor elttil trab. Ees fi I pleh ouy reve niaga...", Ryuu muttered to himself. The strand of hair was help directly above the center of the blood seal drawn on Aki's arm. It became stiff as a needle and resonated with a soft glow. Releasing the needle like strand of hair, it drifting down and absorded itself into Aki's arm painlessly.

Soon after, the blood seal upon Aki's arm came to life, leaping from her skin at the edges, almost boiling atop her skin. Then it appeared to be sucked into her very flesh from the point in which Ryuu pricked her skin. Aki would feel a burning sensation in her very bones where they were broken before fading as quickly as it came.

"All done. Now that wasn't so bad, was it?" Ryuu brought himself to his feet, liking his thumb clean of blood. He glanced down the road boredly. "Wonder what's taking Suke so long? He should have been back by now...", dusting himself off, Ryuu turned back to Aki and offered her his ungloved hand. Not at all expecting her to take it though.
"Hugh!" Aki inhaled sharply as the hair and blood sank into her arm and burned, then ceased as quickly as it came.

Aki retracted her arm quickly and burried it under her other arm, not taking her cold yet firey gaze off of Ryuu. But her arm didn't hurt one bit. It was as if she'd never broken it at all.

A chill went down her spine as she watched Ryuu lick the blood off of his thumb, then present his clawed hand for her to take.

"WHAT ARE YOU?" Aki asked, pure mistrust still shown in her eyes. "YOU'RE NOT HUMAN, NOR ARE YOU ELF. WHAT ARE YOU?"

Ryuu retracted his hand. He expected Aki would reject his offer to help her up. He hadn't expected her to suddenly seem so afraid of him, though. At least that's how it seemed to him, the way she drew from him and into herself. Ryuu glanced to his own hand, appearing almost as shocked a Aki by it's appearence, turning half away, he pulled on his riding glove, hiding away what he was.

Tossling his hair, and resting a hand on his hip, Ryuu turned away and stare down the road. "Where in Izlan has that beast gone to...?", he saked himself, avoiding answering questions.
Aki drew herself in close, still looking at Ryuu with a fearful gaze. Why won't he say anything? She thought. I...I don't know if I can trust him... But I might not have a choice... She was starting to shiver from the cold and the fear. ...What do I do??

The silence was broken as Ryuu wondered aloud about his horse, but only returned to silence, as Aki said nothing. She didn't know what to do, what to say, who to trust, where to go... She was feeling utterly lonely.

Her mind wandered to her pouch that was slung around her waist. I still have some potions and amulets in there... She thought desperately. ...And there's spells I can use to subdue him... But would they really work? If he's not human or elven, then... He might have some strong inner magical power...

Man, this is just great. the things I get myself into for a little bit of thrill. Geeze, I'd hate to half to kill her or eat her. She really was kinda cute too. Ryuu paced from one side of the road to the other, ever slowly and ever inpatiently. He twiddled his fingers and constently checked his pockets, eyes always watching the road for Suke. And sometimes even the sky?

No, no. what am I thinking. I shouldn't jump to assumtions. Consumption is NOT the key. Besides...it's not like she actually knows...right? . . .Riiight? Ryuu glanced sudenly towards Aki. Then swiftly away, shaking his head. No! Of course not! Besides, you heard her. She said, 'What are you?' translation, what the hell are you? A.k.a., I don't know so I'm asking dramatically. Exactly, right. Right... Gah!

"EKUS!", Ryuu scooped up a stone and threw down the road. "POTS NWORB GNISON DNA TEG KCAB EREH!"

He huffed as the stone flew a good distance, far out of sight. Turning on his heel, Ryuu walked calmly towards Aki, though passed her and went to the stump, the same Haru had lept over, and sat promptly upon it.
Aki stared as Ryuu paced, not taking her eyes off of him for a second. What is he doing...? She thought. Her heart was pounding heavily in her chest, so loud that she was sure that Ryuu could hear it. How did I get myself into this mess...? Did I really have no choice but to let him accompany me...? Why did he insist upon it so much...? Is it possible that he could--? Her heart stopped. Ryuu had his gaze on her for a split moment before returning to his pacing. Her heart resumed its heavy pounding.

"Hih!" Aki gave a small little gasp as Ryuu suddenly and unexpectedly yelled, throwing a stone across the road. She covered her mouth, trying not to make another sound, almost believing that if he couldn't hear her then he couldn't see her.

Aki held her breath as Ryuu passed her, and was surprised that he didn't stop and do something horrible that she feared he might do. He just slumped himself on the stump, ever silent as he was before. Hoping that his attention was elseware, Aki slipped a hand into her pouch and grabbed a small bottle. Stunning powder. She thought, unscrewing the cap easily and positioning it at the ready. If he gets too near me, I'll use it.

"Hey," Ryuu called from his stump. He had gained a stick from somewhere and was drawing in the dirt. He ballance his elbow on his knee, resting his chin on his palm. What he was drawing, Aki probably couldn't see, but was a few ancient arcana spellin out the a few different animal names. If she'd have come closer and knew how to read them, she might she the simpler ones: cat, dog, snake. And a few others. Most were scrbbled out as shortly after drawn.
"Say something. I hate it when it's too quite..." he didn't say it in spite. Just in a requesting tone.
Aki jumped as, again, Ryuu said something. He seems to be acting normally again... She thought wearily. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to act...'friendly' again...

"Hey, you were the one who didn't answer me." Aki responded haughtily. "I'm still waiting for that answer, too. Did you just not hear it? Losing your hearing, Oldie?" Her heart was still pounding hard in her chest, but she was feeling a bit bolder than before.

Snap! Ryuu muttered something, tossing his broken stick over his shoulder. he knew he hadnt' answered. He didn't know how to. He really didn't want to answer either.
'Sorry, but if I told ya' I migth have ta' eat ya'.', he thought to himself in a laughing tone. 'Yeah, tell her that and She'll be screaming it across the country sides. Dry threat anyway. I don't eat people...blech.'

"Look, Could we just drop that? I'm not comfortable with the topic." He glanced over his shoudler down the road. Where was Suke?
Standing rather quickly, Ryuu started towards Aki, passing her by and started down the road.
Aki started as Ryuu came at her, and almost flung the stunning powder at him right then and there. But he passed by her and started down the road.

Is he...leaving me?? Aki thought, exasperated. Well, good riddens! I hate his guts anyway! But, wait... I don't even know where I am!! With a newfound burst of energy, Aki stood and started tailing after Ryuu.

"NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THE TOPIC??" She repeated sarcastically. "How comfortable do you think I was, with you clawing my arm and smearing your blood all over me??" She had caught up to Ryuu now, huffing and puffiing from the strain of walking after she'd been sitting for so long, the bruises from her fall, and the cold air catching her breath. "You owe me at least SOME KIND of explanation!!"

Oooh, Ryuunosuke, I am SO going to KICK your scaley wanna be a** to the Rock in the sky when I find you! Ryuu peeled off his coast and hung it over his arm before shoving his hands into his pokcet. Or...Tried to anyway. Kind of hard when you were wearing heavy riding gloves.

"Keh. To warm out for these thigns anyway...", He muttered, yanking the gloves off and storing them in his belt line. Who'd see them way out here anyway. Miss witch over here already say. Jeeze, I really gotta think things through before I jump over board to help a girl in tears. Oh! And that's ANOTHER thing I gotta get over!
Ryuu tilted his head to the side, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Explination? Heh, Wish I could tell you, but..it's...really not the sorta thing a guy like me just blurts out." He smiled nervously over his shoulder towards Aki, chuckling in good humor. Or tried to anyway before sighing in defeat. "Woah, boy....not a good week...", He muttered, rubbing his ear as he walked, a frown gracing his lips.
Aki scowled. "RIGHT..." She responded sarcastically. She was still huffing and puffing to keep up with Ryuu's long strides, and her breath was visible with every puff. "So what DOES a good week look like for you, eh? Can't exactly say I'm having the time of my life either... Being stalked by a dirty old man... Forced onto an animal that's just as tall as I am... Thrown off of said horse because of the same old man and breaking my arm... Discovering the old man is probably extremely savage, what with the claws and the blood smearing and the..." Aki trailed off into incoherant muttering at that point, not caring that she may have gone too far with her words.

Good week? Well, It was getting better until se came along. Guess that can't be helped though. Maybe I should have just left her back at the inn?......Nah.
"Woah, woah, slow down there, little lady.", Ryuu glanced to his side at Aki, raising a brow. "Man, you have SOME kind of an imagination. Now lets get something straight here, and maybe I can get some of that 'explainging' stuff down for you."

He raised his hand, counting off of his claws.
"One, I am NOT an old man. I'm only a sligth of twenty. Two, Breaking your arm was not MY fault. I offered to teacher you how to ride, but you denied. And Three, I am Not savage! I just happened to be in a sightly off modd and stuff. The whole blood smearing. It was a blood rune. I use them for instant healing. Gosh, I wouldn't have weird you out, but...you just started crying and...", HE shrugged his hands, unsure what really to say, leaving it at that. He shoved his hands back into his pockets and quicked his pace abit.
"Haven't you ever seen a blood rune used before?" He thougth a moemnt. Duh! Of course not! No one uses blood runes anymore, you idiot!
