Seems like destiny repeats itself.
Two twins, brother and sister,
Guardians of the Ragnar Pack.
Son and Daughter of Caska and Scion.
Andrea and Casion DiCiana!

Scion turned and looked to Tabitha as she asked if the girl was alright. A smile plastered on his face as he answered,"no worries at all, a little shaken up but she is just fine. Thank you kindly for all your help." She was a lifesaver because she just saved them from a possibly dangerous fight after seeing that the cat vampire take i a step further and beyond and simply transform again. The same way he did it. That was shocking because besides his father he had never seen anyone that was capable of doing that! She was a gangrel so maybe it had something to do with her animalism. Either way, she was gone for now.

The little girl turned to Tabitha as she approached her calling her brave. A shy smile appeared on her face. It was easy to see that the child was stills shaken up but her cling to Scion had not faltered. If anything it only grew tighter. She watched as the women handed her a gift and she looked up at Casi to take a hold of it. He smiled and nodded giving her the OK and she turned and reached towards taking it softly. She inspected it first and then slipped it onto her wrist. It was the stretchy kind so it was a perfect fit. A smile widened to the little girls face and she lowly and shyly muttered,"th.....thank...you." That was all that was heard before resting her head into Casi's chest with a yawn. She was getting tired and for good reason. She had a long day. Massa had a really good point, This little one who's name he still not yet had didn't seem to want to let go.

It made perfect sense. She was basically in a entire new world and he had been impaled just to save her so it was only right that her trust lay the most with him. He was willing to give his life up for her and that was enough to convince anyway especially a child this young. Other things seemed to bother him like that loud thunder or even that massive earth shaking event. What the hell was going on? Whatever it was he had no idea of it and he didn't like the feel of it. What they just faced was only the true beginning.

Well he could meet up with his sister now that he had Massa's reinsurance of protecting the little girl. He turned to Tabitha with a grin,"thanks for the help and I'm sure we will be running into each other. Maybe next time I can assist you." The little girl smiled waving to her and Scion grabbed the girl close and took off. Massa would follow his trail and follow. When he arrived to the scene then he saw his sister locked in battle with that freak with the scars on his face! His eyes widened when he saw Artemis laying down injured! "ARTEMIS!!! Some people just didn't know when to stop pissing him off this night did they. At least his sister was OK. He made his way over to Artemis with haste concern. He knelt down to her and rested his hand on side bone structure. She had been around for seventeen years so it was normal that she would be tired. He rubbed her head softly and stood in front of Artemis as if he were protecting the injured animal.

His glare towards this man had not faltered in the slightest. He would have already been on his attack if not for holding the child. He had to wait for Massa to arrive and then he would put the girl down and tear the scar skin right from his very existence. Trying to maintain his anger sense he was holding the child, desperately wanting to kill this foreigner, wanting to get this damn night over with. It wasn't going to be too long before the sun came up anyway then they could have sanctuary back at the ragnar hideout. He did take notice to another vampire sitting on the car as if enjoying the events occurring before her. He didn't even have to think about it any further, she too was a monster. That cynical smile on her face said it all. The little one in his arms did not seem to be focus on anything except for Andrea. She was a splitting image of Casi which in a sense gave her the immediate trust. The little one had a idea of what danger was and that's all her small voice could say to Andrea...."be....care..ful." Seemed like she was a very caring child. A talk with the elders of the ragnar pack would need to commence to see what they would do with the child. They rarely turned humans nowadays but...what was tyo be done about the girl? They would need her history first to see if she had any family. Later for that though, they were focused on the here and now.

Each one has to find his peace from within.
And peace to be real must be unaffected by outside circumstances which is why me and my sister will not fail
.Peace is it's own reward and our deceased mother has found that.
You will not sully her honorable name.
Gabriel: "What do you mean you are going down there? it isn't our place to....."

?????: "That matters not. I need to see what is going on myself. don't worry, i have a way of staying hidden."

Gabriel: "sheesh. I hope you weren't this rash when you still had your body"

?????: "Actually i was worse. consider yourself lucky."

And before Gabriel could get out another word, the Angels new warrior had stepped to the edge of the pearly gates, and closed his eyes, focusing his conentration really hard, finding a suitable temporary host thta he could use to get a good look around at the surface of the earth. Needless to say, he found an old friend that he should have thought about in the first place, and didnt' see why he even wasted his time trying to find something else. The large black wolf could be found inside a manor, in the room of his old master who died some time ago. That would be perfect, and with that, there was another clap of thunder, this one was the sight of a shooting star, which was actually a spirit, falling from the sky towards the assamite manner. The scene was very bright, illuminating the night sky as if it were a lighting bolt that knew exactly where it was going. The speed at which it traveled was amazing ,as it drew closer to the manner, the light got brighter and brighter outside the window. Luckily this was not solar light, so no one inside would be harmed, they would just be confused as to what was happening. The spirit traveled through the roof, and directly to the large black wolf, whom up until this point, never left that room except to eat and to go outside to releive himself. however, due to the nature of the spirit that inhabited him, a thin white stripe formed within its fir, and without a pause, the giant wolf trotted out of the room, and down the stairs of the manor. Many assamites couldn't believe their eyes, at least the ones who haven't seen the pet of their former master in years. as he made his way out of manor. Before competely exiting, the Wolf looked back to everyone with a slight shine in his eyes. It was nostalgic to him. everyone's faces, everyones thoughts, it brought back memories.

finally the giant beast left, out of sight completely, and left towards the heart of the city, just like he always used to. Taking in his surroundings, he started to get an idea of what was going on. Nothing too much changed. The smell of blood, bodies everywhere, he must have come at the end of a fierce battle. Infact, in the distance he could see two beings, one of which seemed real familiar to him, but couldn't put his finger on the name. Well it was irrelevant at this point. He continued on, and made a mental note of the two that he just saw, as well as the feeling that he got from the both of them. He followed his nose around for anyone else that may be familiar to him, and he did pick on two scents he knew all too well. "hmmmmm..Kendric's boy and Valentines girl are still alive.....and together..." there scent was unforgetable, even more so now as he could smell the age on them. That could mean that maybe the curse was......or maybe it wasnt' ,because he could feel that same eerie and dark feeling on those first two that he saw, that he felt whenever Brody was around before. The curse was as still alive, and that was really all he needed to see. With a brisk run, the giant black wolf turned and started to run for the Assamite manor. Straight through the main part of the city, and back to where the new manor was located. The wolf entered the house again, and went back towards his old masters room, where the spirit left the wolf in piece, and the white stripe had vanashed off of its fir. The spirit returned to the heavens, where he regained his angelic form at the gates.

Gabriel: "I thought you would have been gone longer."
?????: "i thougth so too, but i felt and saw what i needed to see. the surface is going down hill.....fast."

Gabriel: "I see.....so what do you propose we do?"

?????: "well we can't make a move until Hell makes a move first, which i imagine will be pretty soon, you know that."

Gabriel simply nodded to him, and went to inform Micheal about the news that he found while he was on the surface.
the pain is NO more......for now
there is NO grey cloud....for now
but i can see the storm....
NO way will it conquer us.....

He felt like the white cat does whenever Lain runs her fingers through the feline's fur. He could easily go to sleep with her doing that. where was this earlier when things were really bad? She could have him wrapped around her finger, literally, just by stroking his hair. Though he knew tomorrow night would be a lot more chaotic than what happened tonight, he didn't let it control his mind the way he normally would. Lain had stopped and posed to him something interesting, and it was something that he remembered her and Valentine talk about all the time. Leaving this city as soon as possible would be in your interest Vester..... He used to say to him all the time. Thinking back maybe it wasnt' such a bad idea to listen to him, but honestly that didn't matter, since Brody had a mental lock on him anyway, he still would have found him. his attention snapped out of dream land when Lain asked him if she left the city, would he come with her.

"Of course i would....." Was the answer that came out of his mouth, rather quickly to his surprise. It only shocked him a little not because he didn't mean it, but because he didn't think twice about saying it out loud. then he followed up jokingly. "who else is gonna keep you from fighting anyone?" The smile on his face flashed towards Lain for about a minute before he went back to closing his eyes and just relaxing, his arm that was wrapped on her waist loosened up, and his hand was gently carresing her hip.

He honestly did't want this moment to stop...but at this point he could feel his body getting heavy. he was either tired, or needed to feed. Well considering he wasnt' going into any kind of frenzy, nor did he want to get up, he just let himself rest. he would stay concious for a brief moment, but now he was slipping to rest slowly but surely.
LYRA

User Image “ Thank you.” Lyra skipped passed Kyran through the door opening to follow a few steps behind Awa who made a straight line for her private rooms. Lyra watched the elegant woman sit down in the armchair but remained standing by the door. “ What?” She asked for a moment not sure if she had heard correctly. “ Brody had a child?” Well apparently so and with Consoa of woman. Now Consoa was a woman she knew pretty well. She had fought her once and almost won too simply because she had been underestimated. She hadn't even realized the woman was still alive, let alone that she had a child. Well that only went to prove the woman had no taste. She rested her gaze on Lady Awa now without looking. “ You didn't kill her..?” She was curious as to why the child was still walking around with her body in tact. Awa was surely stronger then the girl so Lyra simply wondered what the true reason was. She didn't know Awa to be a woman who liked playing games. Something must have happened for her not to follow through what the child had started. At the same time it explained a few things. If Consoa was alive and she had a child then that would leave little guessing as to where the vampire and lycan puppets had come from. The curse was still there. In fact it would be spreading and from what she knew that was not good. It was something she needed to discus with the other guardians once she got the chance. Well she didn't doubt she would bump into either one of the twins soon enough. They where kind of hard to miss. Like a plague?

Sunrise? Lyra's attention was drawn to the bright light outside. It seemed to become brighter by the second as if it was coming closer and then just like that it disappeared too. What the hell? Lyra exchanged a glance with Kyran and cleared her throat. “ Let me find out what's going on.” There was obviously a lot of commotion outside the room. “ I'll be right back.” She opened the door and slipped through the crack into the slightly brighter lit hallway. “ What's going on?” She asked someone standing nearby. The man turned to her. He was looking really surprised as if just witnessing something unbelievable. “ Master Novious wolf, he just ran out the door. Disappeared like a flash.” Lyra frowned at this. Since Novious had died the wolf barely left the room. For it to run out like that all of the sudden was rather strange indeed. “ And the bright light?” She pushed, being more curious as to what that was. “ It disappeared in the roof, into master Novious room.” Well that was weird indeed. Could the light be causing the wolf to act funny all of the sudden? Lyra thoughtfully wandered up the stairs to Novious old room. It was dark and there was no one there. There wasn't even the slightest damage to the roof.

As she was about to turn around and close the door behind her the wolf suddenly returned. He slipped passed her legs so fast she barely noticed him and she didn't see the spirit leaving it's body either. Lyra knelt down in front of the giant black wolf and scratched his head. Maybe she was just being too suspicious. After patting the wolf's head one more time she got back on her feet and hurried back to Awa's chambers. “Apparently a big bright light crashed into the roof and then master Novious wolf ran off.” She shrugged lightly. “ But he's back now and he looks fine to me.”
Music fills the infinite between two souls
User Image"Pleasure."The gothic dressed woman inclined her head slightly towards the pretty blonde who had also provided her name, but it was clear that Tabby had walked in on something else that was happening as the pair were heavily engaged in whatever problem must have existed outside of the rescue. As she believed them to be Lycan's that was understandable. Their kind had never gotten along very well and even being here now for her was a bit unnerving given they could attack at any moment.

The little girl glanced up at her guardian and having been given the okay accepted the beaded bracelet prompting a smile on the blood red lips. Although there wasn't a flash of fangs, the musician had gotten very good at keeping certain traits hidden. Having spent so little time with her own kind and much more with humans it was second nature to act more like them now than like a vampire.

"Your welcome, mite."She told the girl, turning her attention to the dark haired male who had thanked her as well."It's not right to hurt children, not matter what monster you are."She told him with a shrug, accepting that they were ready to leave and backing away from them both with just the crunching of her boots on the roofs loose stones. She waved once more, this time goodbye, at the little girl whose faith she was trusting. They'd get her somewhere safe. It was really out of Tabby's hands now.

'Learn to let go' a deep masculine voice whispered through her memories causing her to shake her head and push a heavy mass of dark hair off her shoulder. Now wasn't the time for memories or anything else. Now, like usual, was the time for her to back quietly out of the lives of those she'd meet and fade back into the night where she belonged.

"Perhapse." Tabby replied to the boy's statement about meeting again, very much so doubting they would. Why would a Lycan and a Vampire meet up? Then again why had they tonight? She turned, without looking back, and fixed her chocolate eyes on the point where the cat vampire had vanished too. She knew what the girl sounded like now...and as long as she spoke then Tabby could track her. There was no way she was simply going to let this go, not on children, there were too many hurt as it was; she should know.

As silently as she'd approached she slipped away, not interested in where the others had gone because they weren't interested in where she had gone. Instead Tabby walked down the outside steps to the city street below. It was quite here, farther away from the main part of the city. She closed her eyes and stretched her ability out once more. And began her own hunt, this time not for food.

The city was beautiful at night; she never appreciated it as much as she did when she was human. Well she didn’t even know if she liked it back then either. Her memories had faded, becoming almost non-existent. She liked it that way though, making a new start and not really caring for what happened back then. She was given a new path and she didn’t need old memories to hurt herself in the same affect. She was putting pieces of gum in her mouth, her stride childish. It was like a march, but she rose her leg all the way up and then leaned forward, making her other leg pop up and then it started all over again. She had placed her yellow hat back on and her tail was already wrapped around her waist, a perfect disguise for a normal human teenager. The only problem with that though was if she was spotted by the police they could take her into custody, just because it was after curfew. It was the life of a vampire and she wouldn’t age for another couple of thousands of years.

Smacking her lips together and letting her tongue roll over the pieces of gum in her mouth. Her eyes looked back and forth, looking for any other shops that were opened late. She hadn’t been in this city for too long, but she knew some of the places that were opened late. She smelled the grill that was down the street. It wasn’t opened, but the manager was probably making his wife some dinner. Stray could smell a hint of salmon and boiling salt water, probably a lovely stew for his wife. On other nights she would have stolen the salmon, or the entire meal, for herself but she let the man have peace tonight. She could also smell some alcohol that was coming up to her right. Turning in time she saw three drunken mates, each hanging onto each other for support.

Of course she was spotted by the group and they began whistling, even though she was wearing a long sleeved shirt and some jeans. Winking at them she kept going, not really in the mood for alcohol soaked blood. The bar was around the corner, smelling of alcohol, sweat and air fresheners. The place did have good beer, but it smelled awful. Her lips puckered up and slowly a pink bubble grew from her mouth. Stray was good at making bubbles, but she liked the pop that came afterwards. She kept walking, heading down the familiar streets, seeing some familiar places and not so familiar faces. She came close to a guy sleeping under a garbage can, but she decided to keep going. But then of course she got a brilliant idea.

Turning on her heel she headed back to where the guy was, seeing his chest move up and down and also smelling the garbage that was on top of his head. Stray leaned in closer and then her teeth bit down on the bubble, marking a very loud “Pop” sound. She got the reaction she wanted. The man woke up and in his instant reaction, banged his head against the garbage can and found himself face first in a puddle. Stray began to laugh hysterically, holding onto her chest as she felt her lungs fill up. “Why I outta…you darn kid!” Was all she heard from the man before she headed down the street again.

Her night was already beginning to grow boring. She usually ran into some lycans or even a few blood drunk vampires, but it seemed not tonight. Sighing she spit out the gum that was in her mouth and pulled out one of the candy cigarettes. Before she placed it in her mouth she looked at her surroundings. The street lamps were on, but the buildings were dark. There was barely a sound coming from the buildings and not even a mouse was feasting on a restaurants leftovers. It was the perfect place for her next action. Placing the cigarette back in its case she squatted down on her legs and then jumped into the air, landing gracefully on a telephone wire.

Not many people knew this power, but she liked to demonstrate it to the uneventful night. It got her heart pumped and also made a very dazzling color display if used right. Smiling to herself, she half purred when she felt the static begin to build up in her shoes. Unlike humans she was not affected by the electricity that was coming through the wires, over even the energy that was building up. Stray was the source for the moment and she wanted every last ounce of electricity. Spreading her arms out, she lifted her head to the sky, closing her eyes as the static finally coursed through her body. Her hair stood on end and she wanted to start laughing from the tickling sensation. Opening her eyes they were still their dark color, but she wanted more.

This place she was in was still populated, but of course she could care less for human peace. Grabbing onto her left arm, she held her finger out in a gun position, aiming it for the “Stop” sign at the end of the street. Closing one eye she concentrated on her aim, pointing her finger right where the bull’s eye would be. She then felt the electricity build up in her finger until finally it became almost visible, forming an electric green orb. A smile spread across her face and she then flicked her finger, sending the electric orb for her mark.

It soared quickly, faster than any eye could see. Smoke was forming on the end of her finger, so she blew it off, just like the old westerns would do. Letting her arms fall she opened her other eye. Quickly as she came on the telephone line she jumped off of it, stepping right in front of the “Stop” sign. She examined it, looking for any trace that she had hit it. A smile came on her face when she looked where it had hit. The orb had gone right through the “O”, not where she wanted, but she got another idea. Raising her hand she poked another hole right through the sign and then scratched in a smile. Now the “Stop” sign had a smile, just what this community needed. ”A smile for any day.” Tilting her head and giving her work another look; she then headed down the street again.

Stray took out the candy cigarette again and placed it in her mouth, another sugar rush would come after that…

User ImageTabby's booted feet crunched on the sidewalk as she continued to prowl the city. Her dark clothing helped her blend into the night but for the glow of her pale skin where it was revealed outside of the leather. Her eyes were softly closed, all her instincts trained into another sense. Heartbeats pulsed like life around her, making it almost as if she was walking through a land of harmonic beats flush with the over riding notes of teh city itself. The gurgle of water beneath their feet as it passed through the sewers, the roar of engines as cars traveled along their chosen paths, the hum of electronics on signs that stayed lit as guides in the dark. Everything had its own harmonic to add to the orchestra. Her hearing was straining to pick up very specific noises, however. She'd already passed by several other hunters of the night but had only given them a cursory glance before moving on. They weren't the one she was after.

"Playing at being a bobby."She whispered with a self deprecating smirk on her blood red lips. The others would have had a canary had then seen her actions. Kids were good and all, but the street protected its own, she just couldn't leave it well enough alone. 'Let it go'."Not tonight, Jacques."She whispered.

The wind brought sounds to her, gently caressing her hair and sending delicate strands brushing against her cheeks, eventually it brought the sound she wanted. It was the sharp crack of metal bending under pressure. It could have been normal except the pitch was wrong. What had broken the metal was wrong. Breaking into a low run she lifted her face and kept herself attuned to the sounds, rewarded a moment later by the sound of the voice she'd been hunting all night.

"Your mine, Dollymop."Tabby breathed, easily tracking the sound of footsteps now. Honestly she wasn't sure what exactly she was going to do. She hated fights, but she couldn't just let someone who would hurt a kid run around. She would just have to face the situation as it occurred.

"Scuse me, love?"The dark haired gothic vampire called, her accent more pronounced as memories of old hits slipped up, granted she wasn't planning on pulling cash or valuables from this woman, but some habits fade hard and walking up on someone in the dark was one of them. Especially as she did her hunting other ways these days.

User ImageLain smiled and her stomach fluttered a bit when he so readily agreed to come with her. It was nice to know he hadn't grown tired of being around. But he quickly turned it into a joke “ Yeah that would be a real problem.” Lain remarked dryly, being back into reality in an instant. They weren't going to be leaving for a long time anyway. It wasn't long before her mind strayed off. His soft caresses made her skin tingle, leaving behind warm traces. Just as she was relaxed though something made her sit up and hold her breath. She didn't know what it was. She wasn't even sure if she hadn't imagined it but for a split second she felt as though they had been “spotted”. As quickly as the feeling came it went and she released a shaky breath. She hadn't slept a lot the last couple of days so in her sleep deprived state it could be possible her senses where doing a runner on her. She rarely had it wrong when it came to these things but because the feeling had been so fleeting Lain hesitantly dismissed it and didn't say anything to Vester. He was falling asleep and he needed every bit of it he could get. At least tonight she could make sure he could sleep undisturbed. Which also meant keeping the feline away as she finally made an appearance. However instead of coming to the bed it settled down on the floor underneath the window. Eyes wide open and ears alert. Lain watched it worried for a moment but as if it seemed to notice the feline relaxed and so did Lain.
I'm suffering from a bad case of Amnesia.
I can't remember who I was.
What I did.
Or where I even came from.
They took me In and I am Kyran.
I am grateful for th person I have become.
I'm not sure If I want to know who I really am.
To bad fate doesn't work the way we want it.

User ImageKyran took a seat and looked as Lady Awa glanced at him and most likely his bandaged wound. He raised a hand on his head and laughed slightly. Well, she was used to it by now but he really did need to stop getting injured but that's what his babe was there for right? She could protect him. Yeah, that was quite pathetic but like he stated earlier he had no problem with it and Kyran wasn't that bad seeing as how he was still alive and all. Those next words that left lady Awa's mouth made Kyran cringe.

Not only was he not a fan of lycans but what he hated more than lycans was Brody. He was responsible for putting the curse on the man who killed Novious. Consoa, he could vaguely remember but didn't Lyra kick her a**? His memory was vague on the matter but he was certain that she had gotten her a** kicked by Lyra. So how in the hell does someone that weak get a rare and disgusting catch like Brody? Well, it seemed that she had gotten stronger, or in that case real strong. It was the curse but the unthinkable. That thing had a child? Wasn't Brody a hybrid so what in the hell did that make Broda?

Kyran spoke up," So, what did it look like? Was it a lycan on a vampire?" Kyran chuckled when Lyra asked was it still alive. That was going to be his next question also. Was the thing even still alive? Well obviously Lady Awa didn't kill it but that wasn't what was on his mind. It was the fact that Consoa was controlling so many of the curse ones....how? He had remembered that each full moon, anyone with the curse gets stronger eh? So that thing that lady Awa engaged would be stronger, far stronger the next time they saw it. Not only them but each and every last one of those things that had the curse. Things had taken a turn for the worst."Lady Awa, it also seemed that the ragnar twins, the other two guardians like Lyra were attacked as well. I suppose we will be calling a meeting with the mutts soon right?

God how he hated being in the room with Casion and Andrea. For one Andrea had a big mouth and Casion just sat there calm as if nothing were important and only responded when needed too. He was too much like Caska and out of all people.....she killed Brody. It made him sick. He was hoping Brody would have his head cleaved off by Lady Awa's axe. What did Lyra just say about Novious's wolf? That wolf hadn't moved out of that room until it was time to eat or relief himself. All of sudden he was up and about after a strange light crashed threw? That didn't make any sense but he would look into it later. "So what's our next plan of action?"

Amnesia is what they call when a person forgets?
No,
I call it a change in reality.
Some people don't want to remember who they are.
I am one of those people who like my life.
I like the people in it.
I wont trade them for anything...even power.
My loyalty is unmatched.
((just so the vamp characters know, daylight is fast approaching!))

Awa remained silent as Lyra seemed shocked by the news. And she very well should have been, Awa herself had been surprised. Of course the composed woman would have never let it show. However to know that Consoa had been alive, and not to mention carrying around span had been a bit unexpected. Awa had expected the woman to go crawl into some hole and mourn until she withered into nothingness. It seemed that the ancient furball had revenge to keep her blood pulsating through her body. And using her child, she would finally be able to exact her vengeance. Once the initial shock wore off of Lyra she said something that caused Awa to raise a brow at the girl. At first it seemed as if her words were meant to insinuate that Awa and purposely let the child of Brody live. However Lyra was a smarter vampire then that, she would know better then top make such an assumption. Awa may have a soft spot for the girl, but that didn’t mean she was above asserting herself through violent means. Awa’s green eyes bore into Lyra, not faltering in the slightest. “ I did not….” She answered her softly.

“She did not come alone, after I attacked…the child was subdued and taken away because she was not prepared for me” Awa began to explain. “I did not pursue…because as you can see it is already almost dawn….and knowing the circumstances I did not think it was wise to go alone and chase the child right into the waiting arms of a very old and strong lycan with an obvious army at her disposal” Awa was not a foolish woman. She had not survived for centuries by running into fights without thinking first. “I may be strong, but I am not as invincible as some might think I am”

Awa’s eyes then went to Kyran who seemed interested in what the kid had looked like. “It looked like a little blonde girl…” that was the only thing she said. What was she suppose to say? Did he expect her to have claws, or look like she had mange? Suddenly Lyra got to her feet and moved to the door, probably to check out the commotion that seemed to be flooding through the manor. Awa remained sitting quietly; she could her muttering about a wolf…Novious’s wolf. Well that was strange, Aethios had not been seen for years….not since Novious turned to dust. While Lyra lurked in the doorway. Awa green eyes went back to Kyran who was still talking. Apparently the daCiana twins had been targets tonight as well. However that wasn’t surprising. If Consoa had a vendetta against anyone, it would be those with DaCiana blood running through their veins. Seeing as it was Caska that cut down her lover.

“Don’t sound to excited Kyran” Awa said with a light smirk. He seemed disgusted at the very idea of meeting with the lycans. “But yes, I suppose we shall have to call for a congregation. They may smell…but I would rather be allied with them then against them if we are going to be facing an all out war” Lyra rejoined them, saying something about Aeithios leaving and then coming back. Awa just rubbed her forehead…”I’m surprised the beast is still alive” she said bluntly. It had been a long time afterall. But then again, canine lives seemed to be extended in this town. Even that dog she had given top the DaCiana twins seemed to still be kicking.

Their weapons embraced once again, echoing with a dark song that seemed to call out too Vash. The weapons tensed, but Vash’s eyes narrowed as he noticed how much strength behind the woman’s weapons. If he was not careful, she would have been able to overpower him, and cleave him in too. Even immortals would suffer, if their head was removed. His eyes flickered too the weapons, measuring their length and width. If he was not careful, he would lose more than a single limb. He knew he could not overpower her, and he had not will too. He was not a brutish warrior. He valued intelligent and cunning more than anything else. But her answer had caught him off guard, and his smile flickered, weakened. Protect people, because its right? He had aided his family with thievery, all those years ago, but yet, all he received in the end, was betrayal. She seemed to be so deep seeded into her dream, that it nearly broke Vash’s smile. He hated that dream of hers. She protected people because she felt it was right, because he valued that important feeling. And his eyes narrowed as he witness the moment of weakness in her expression. He enjoyed the moment, it had given him power, and he took a mental note about the weakness she held for her mother.

But his own smile only faltered for a moment. Her answer had struck him deep, perhaps disturbing the anarchy and agony that man had rose within himself. But he hid it behind his smile, his eyes widening as his muscles tensed behind his weapon. He could smell it. The burning sphere that killed his kind. The sun would be rising soon. And he couldn’t die here. Not in front of her. He could not show any weakness to the girl before him. He found her interesting. He found her too much fun. Their blades sparked, as Vash chuckled too himself, before his body had begun to move. A shift, fluid movement that most people would not have considered.
Pushing his blade forward, the man had supported himself upon the strength of the woman and his own strength. The muscles in his legs tensed as he pushed himself into the air, supporting himself upright upon their combined strength. And without another sound, the man had pulled off an amazing acrobatic move, using his arms to push himself forward as he landed upon his feet behind her, his smile growing as the blades rose.

But he was not going to strike her, oh no. The blades had been rose to be placed in their scabbard, with a hiss as the metal rubbed against leather. And his hands shot forward, from within the hollow depths of his sleeves formed the beastly sword once again, and his body propelled forward, aimed for the street lights which were switching off due to the rising sun. His move fast, his feet almost never touching the asphalt as his hand reached out, clasping the cool metal of the lamp post, spiraling around in as the soles of his boots came to rest upon the metal pole, the man keeping himself suspended upon the pole with a single arm. And his scared eyes turned to the woman, his smile wide and demonic. Perhaps a more sinister intend behind it. ”That’s right little girl, hate me!” The man announced as the beastly blade rose, and the weapon cleaved through the light post with easy. And the two had begun two had begun to tumble to the ground. But Vash had more planned, then besides mindless property damage. “There’s no problem with that!” He announced, before he had begun to move.

His body swung about the falling lamppost, before he pushed it off with his feet at full strength. He propelled the lamppost at Andrea. If it missed, the lamppost would collide with the side of the moving truck, and butchering the side of the vehicle. As the lamp post was propelled forward, the shadow blade once again changed shape once again, a puzzling weapon indeed, as it became lengthy, the bladed sphere upon the end formed yet again, and Vash spun it about as it latched too the opposite side street light, and he pulled himself to it with a single hoist of his arms. The soles of his boots once again landed against the pole, before he hoisted his arms into the air, tearing the post into two pieces once again as sparks rained down from the gaping hole in the pole. And the man was once again suspended in the air as he uncoiled the chained mace from the severed street lamp, kicking it in Andrea’s direction once again. “It will only drive you forward!” He exclaimed as he hit the ground, his lower half disappearing beneath the mist as the man stood, his hands tucked into his pockets, swearing once too himself as the night seemed to have gotten brighter.

In less than an hour, it would be dawn, and he would suffer a painful death. There was no time to play around, too his own displeasure. He was enjoying himself too much, this woman; he liked her. Not as just a sparring partner. But also as someone he wished to bring down. He wanted her to see the world through his eyes. And the weapon dispersed into nothingness once again as he smiled, holding out his arms for the woman to strike at him again. “What’s wrong little girl, feeling a little uneasy?” He asked in a sweet, cooing voice, his eyes partly shut as the smile grew. He would disappear soon into the depths of the city. But first, he wished for a bit more fun.

Her steps were quite silent for wearing soaked sneakers, barely a squeak came out of them. There was a smile on her face and her cheeks had turned slightly pink. Her whole expression was happy. Stray was happy to know that candy was in her pocket. Happy to know that she was living yet another night. And happy to know that she had found another adventure to get lost into. Biting down on the candy stick she giggled. ”Won’t be long now.”

She stopped a couple of feet before a cross section and finished off her cigarette, letting it dissolve on her tongue. She slipped both of her hands into her faded jean pockets and looked at the top of the rooftops. No one was up there, but she always liked to imagine there was someone watching her. That thought kept her alive, knowing someone could be after her every moment. She didn’t mind the thrill of a chase or the adrenaline rush of a good fight, but sometimes escape was always better. Licking her lips her cyan eyes began to grow brighter, just because she had a guest.

Her back was turned from the goth looking vampire, the same woman who had interrupted her lovely dog fight. She had an accent in her voice, Stray couldn’t identify it, but it of course was noticed. She didn’t know why the vampire wanted to come after her, but knowing all the answers didn’t make it fun. Tilting her head slightly, Stray still kept her back to the woman. ”Well well well, what do we have here? The vampire with the nice singing voice, how lucky am I?” Stray could almost roll her eyes at the thought, but instead she replaced it with a smile.

With a pivot of her foot she turned around to look at the woman head on. She wasn’t absolutely thrilling to look at, but a vampires charm always got the better of humans. Stray still had that kid like smile on her face, but her cat eyes were narrowed, almost in a defiant way. She then just starred, eyeing the vampire that had come up from behind her. Stray could smell the wolf on her, probably because she just came from where the boy was. Thinking back on the lost battle hurt her feelings, but she had candy to help out with that. Pulling a plain old sucker out of her pocket, she slipped it into her mouth, letting the silence ring on.

Stray did grow distracted for a second though as she watched the horizon. The sky was still pitch black and the stars were still in the sky, but it was beginning to fade. The sun would be coming out and that meant hitting the alley ways or finding a good secluded place to hang out. Twirling the sucker around in her mouth, she contemplated the moments. ”I don’t know about you, but I don’t feel like talking when the sun comes out. You may follow lovely or split from me now.”

Stray turned her attention back to the dark looking vampire, noting the somewhat non-relaxed position she was in. Putting the sucker back in her mouth she began to head right for the female, but her steps became fainter until she was down the block and around the corner. If the goth vampire was good enough, she would be able to follow and know where the cat vampire had gone.

She knew the perks and places of her area and found herself in front of an old looking hotel. The owner had a heart attack and left the place vacant; no one had even collected the place yet. It was a good hide out for anyone. Stray found herself staying here quite often, even boarding up the windows a finding a couple of roommates to hang out with. Opening the door to number “13” she stepped inside to the sound of a dozen mewing cats.

”Aww it is ok, mommy is home!” Stray giggled and left the door open, inviting the goth vampire to come inside if her followed. Walking into the kitchen portion she ripped open a couple of salmon packages and laid them out for her cats or whatever other cats followed. They were strays as well, finding a place here where the cats roamed. Opening up the fridge Stray took out a bottle of cold water and then jumped onto the large bed, laying her head down on a pillow. She bit the cap off and drank the water, but her cyan colored eyes watched the door…waiting for her guest to come roaming in…

Sliding caress across alabaster, ruby does bloom
Kissed by the loving glow of the harvest moon.

Crimson eyes had begun to grow dull, the fight wasn't nearly as impressive as Ellyn had hoped it would turn out to be. Instead it seemed to be mostly posturing. True, both were strong, both were strong enough to be catching each others attacks and returning them with minimum damage...but that was the problem. It really was just minimum. Further, more people had shown up. Not a single one of them had done more than give her a cursory glance, but then she wasn't trying to draw attention to herself and she was VERY good at being overlooked when she wanted.

Around the downed, blood-splattered semi the lights were winking out. One by one as it spread like a virus down the street. Crimson eyes moved from the vanishing lights towards the horizon where the stars were just beginning to fad out softly, making way for the dawn. A look of real hatred breathed across the beautifully still face and shattered the youthful innocence there like a dream.

The blonde below her had just jumped from his position and landed on a lamppost, with interest the platinum haired vampire watched him break it in half and remain with the pieces as they fell towards the ground. Before he hit the ground he used the object as a projectile and hurled it towards the girl along with his strange weapon once more. Ellyn uncrossed her legs and resituated them as she tipped her head and licked at her blood-red lips hoping this would give her the death she wanted as the sun was coming up to claim the world once more and her fun would be over.
Music fills the infinite between two souls
User ImageThe cat-like vampire that she'd followed sat with her back to where Tabbitha was and seemed to be looking at something on the sky-line. Given Tabby could feel the dawn approaching she could imagine what she might be watching. There had been a time where the goth vampire would push her own limits to catch just that little bit of sunlight. She'd grown out of that but never the desire to feel it kiss her skin one last time.

"Lucky seems to be subjective."The young appearing woman answered as she came to a stop near the other vampire. Her weight shifting to one hip as she ran a hand through her dark hair with just a faint hiss of leather announcing the movement. The other girl had taken steps to shift her look away from what it had been, now she could blend in with any group of skater kids that might have been wandering by at the cusp of dawn. The image was completed when she grabbed a sucker and popped it into her mouth. How old was she? Tabby wondered, tipping her head to the side as her heavily lined eyes watched the girl watch the horizon.

"Bloody hell..."Tabby muttered, her accent coming out harder in annoyance as she watched with chocolate brown eyes as the feline vanished once more using that speed that Tabby just couldn't match. Closing her eyes once more and pushing thecoming dawn from her thoughts she concentrated on the sound of footsteps that were familiar and took off after them at her own pace. Thanks to the way sound ran off of objects it wasn't necessary for her to open her eyes to find out if she was going to run into something. The hard part was actually pushing away the sense of the waking city. At night the city was like a pulse that sang to her and called in siren sweet voices. As it woke it seemed to go from a gentle hum to the harsh buzz of an agitated bees nest. It made her ears ring.

The footsteps had stopped moving at their rapid pace and slowed to a regular walk that suggested that perhaps they'd reached their destination. It took a few further minutes before Tabbitha arrived as well. Sensing the looming vision by the way echoes rebound she lifted her lids and let her chocolate orbs glance over the decaying hotel. It must have been lovely in its time, now age was turning it into something else.

"Nice place."She drawled as she walked inside the building, her head tilted as she continued to listen to the cat-vampire's movements. With her eyes open the effect wasn't quite as overwhelming and she allowed her gaze to drift over the decaying wealth that had once been the hotel. Her booted feet echoing to announce her presence up to room 13.

Typicalshe thought with a faint smile as she looked over the number before stepping into the room. It appeared more lived in than the rest of the place, but that might have had something to do with the cats that lounged around the place as only cats can. Many where finishing off the bits of what smelled like salmon, and some further still came to her side and rubbed against her leather boots. She reached down a black lacquered hand and ran her fingertips along their sides. They felt like strays, but fairly well cared for strays.

"Friends?" The goth vampire asked, rolling her gaze towards the bed where the cat-vampire was lounging herself with a bottle of water in one hand and watching her from blue eyes. Amber had once been like that, collecting cats. She'd find them all over the city. For a while their little strip of alley had been the most mouse free in the entire city. Until they'd started starving one winter. She'd never had the heart to let Amber know what had happened to her 'friends'.
