Casion was feeling the effects of being stabbed , it was a pain that he himself had gotten used to at the moment. After all the wild brawls that his sister had gotten him into, it would be common for him to be used to such a thing. He looked down at the human girl clinging to him and he just smiled. At least every human wasn’t afraid of his kind. Well It seemed that the vampires and the Lycans that were sent to kill them or just be a hinderance were wiped out so now the next thing he had to do was figure out what he would do with the human child. Before he could say anything then he heard words from the Lycan woman who had bit him earlier. Her words came out a poison to his ears. How dare she say such a thing in front the little girl as if she was already dead. Such words wouldn’t throw him over the edge but he would defend her vitality honor. She was not dead yet and she was just a mere child.

Well then if that’s the case I will become weaker. I don’t really care what you say or think. I am a gaurdian and it’s that simple. I will see fit that she is protected. I have no problem fighting anyone to the death for her survival. Even If I perish in battle, she will not die by the person’s hands who is protecting her. Thanks for the warning stranger.

He still hadn’t heard the woman’s name but stranger would be just fine. He didn’t want to get to know her any more then what he already did. As he turned away from her answering the blond Lycans response he smirked,”If anything, I will become stronger protecting the adolescent.” As he looked at the kid’s big blue eyes and a weak smile from her he raised his hand and ruffled her hair. ”Don’t worry, I wont let anything happen to you. I stake my life on it.” He winked giving her a thumbs and she clung to him once more. His keen canine senses caught note of a different scent. He just couldn’t distinguish if it were a Lycan or a vampire. It smelled like a animal but which one? That was too hard to determine but the petite female had made her presence quick. His eyes widened for a quick instant before he beamed a smile at her. She spoke as if she wasn’t from around here. She didn’t know that the assamites and raganrs were at a alliance.

Well, they attacked all I did was defend myself. So you can drink whatever you like.” At least she was kind enough to tell him to mind the girls visual on the whole situation. He turned her head and covered her ears. He could see her fangs retract and something that beautiful was a vampire? Well, this was surprising. He had seen the upside of women but it was a certain wild streak if you would call it that she had about her.
.
Her next question followed as she wiped the crimson liquid from her lips. What brung the Lycan and vampire together?”Well, I guess you could say a sort of agreement that my mother put into place. I am one of her two children, Casion DiCiana, guardian of the Ragnar pack and this city. Don’t be imprudent, if the orders were lifted then this female assamite next to me would have already attacked me. Despite us having honey flavored and scented blood, she can barely stand the smell of a Lycan. So mixing the bloodlines between me in here is pointless reverie.

It was true, If Lyra had the chance then she would most likely make a attempt on his life and likewise. They were just at a truce and no one considered breaking it. At least this vampire seemed to not care he was a Lycan and even bother to smile and wink at him several times. Was that some kind of hint? He was confused but a smile played on his face ceaselessly . The girl even seemed to chuckle with her face buried into Casion’s chest. Then he looked up hearing her mention something about playing. He was about to respond with a chuckle and ask her what kind of game she was referring too and then his eyes narrowed. She was fast! It was almost as if she teleported behind him. Once that was done he looked back and felt the warm embrace on his chest leaving. It was like it happened in slow motion because the last thing he saw was the little girls widened eyes! To make matters worst her young voice trailed off as she called out to him reaching threw air. She called him Casi! Most likely developing a nickname after hearing his real name.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!

That was a stupid question but it was obviously something that one ask in the heat of the moment. She went blazing down the city streets. He was calculating her speed to his own. She was too fast! He wouldn’t be able to catch her like he was. He hated transforming into that other form of his. Simply because, that actual changed reformed his bones so it hurt like hell. Not to mention he was slightly injured! He hated giving up his secrets to just anyone but he had no choice. He placed a hand over his abdomen where he had been wounded and looked down. His breathed begin to force it’s way threw his lungs stronger. He looked up with illuminating pyramid gold eyes. His size did increase but not like in his lycan form. He was smaller. His muzzle didn’t even form but those fangs in his mouth did increase like sharp talons. Curved slightly making it easier to rip the flesh from a body. The sounds of bones breaking and reforming could be heard and with in that noise could be heard whimpers. His hair frizzled wildly as if he was electrocuted and then had some of it cut awkwardly. Finally his hook like claws formed and he looked up with a glare. Was he mad? Well of course he could only take it this far if he was. A low growl could be heard as if something violent was struggling with in his very tonsils to be set free. He took off making a huge crack in the ground from his launch! She was heading in the direction where he could smell his sister. As she went racing passing them then he followed right past her. His right eye caught attention of his sister and a man but he was locked on his “mouse” at the moment.

He knew this city well which meant he was familiar with the corners, and shortcuts of this street so he quickly made a right turn. This was a shortcut threw multiple allies and paths that him and his sister used. Once he knew he had passed her then he turned and broke threw the brick wall reverting back to his regular form holding his ripped abdomen. Hopefully she hadn’t seen it. Still, he was a good distance away from the others now so it was just him, the little girl, and this vampire who insisted on playing at a time like this. He couldn’t help but smirk though. He raised his human hand and held out his finger in a gesture towards him,”I will have her back now please but seriously though babe, what was the point of dragging me out here? If I had to guess, your not going to give her back so easy are you? So, taking me to a secluded area was apart of your game the instant you saw me? You make so you don’t want anyone to interfere.

He couldn’t tell if she was someone who wanted to kill him or just continue on with these shenanigans either way he just wanted the girl to be safe. So he would have to wait to see what her reason was for doing such a thing. The small girl continued to scream out Casi struggling to get free. That wasn’t going to happen though, not with this vampires grip after feeding. He hoped he wouldn’t have to engage, he was at a disadvantage not having fed, being impaled, and taking his lycan transformation higher. Oh it came with a fatiguing penalty he was simply trying to act tough. He dusted his small vest off and stared buoyantly at her waiting for her answer.

Each one has to find his peace from within.
And peace to be real must be unaffected by outside circumstances which is why me and my sister will not fail
.Peace is it's own reward and our deceased mother has found that.
You will not sully her honorable name.
Music fills the infinite between two souls
User ImageThe heavy pulse of music danced in time to the lights that flashed around the stage, illuminating the flashes of metal on the four people standing there and sending them twinkling before flashing off to something else. On the far right a girl in full goth swayed in time to the beat her fingers passing over the strings with an ease that belayed the difficult level of the song. Her eyes were closed, head down, so that strands of dark chocolate covered the pale glow of her face from view. The guitar continued to scream under her rapidly moving fingers, the sound making itself known among the harmonics of the drums and keyboard that twined with it around the belting voice of the female singer that stood in front and sang to the large crowd that surged against the stage.

The smells of smoke, people, electronics, created an enveloping sensation that could only be found in such places. With the music pounding in her ears, lost in the notes, Tabitha Foster could practically feel the place vibrate in resonance with their song. It brought a faint smile to full lips the color of blood as she tilted the instrument in her hands and picked up the pace of her movements to match for the solo that was now the only sound amid the echoes of the previous. For a second, just a second, behind her closed eyes she could see James hands move over a different stringed instrument as his voice gently explained the notes and she listened to the sweet notes spiral upwards.

The image shattered as the others joined her once again, the combined sounds too far from those first few lessons for her to remember. It was a fact she was grateful for as she opened her heavily lined eyes to reveal the dark brown orbs bleached black by the light effects in the club. Those orbs swept the crowd, seeking, searching, and finding. A tall male, as dark as the rest of those that haunted the club, leaned against a pole near the back and watched her with eyes hidden by the bangs of his hair. She smiled slightly towards him, getting an interested smile in return. She let her gaze drift back towards the male through the last of the songs for that set, only fully breaking contact as the band finished and she swept the guitar's strap up off her head. The movement causing the dark mass to spill about her shoulders, only accented by the twin skull hair pieces.

"Wow..."The drummer breathed as they stepped backstage while the clubs crew rushed forward to set up for the next band. Tabby turned her dark gaze towards him to see him watching her appreciatively. She flashed him a subdued smile, he wasn't her type, too blonde mostly. The singer snagged his arm regardless and shot her a less than friendly look even as her pretty midnight black mouth opened.

"Yeah, thanks for covering for Sean."Her words and tone sounded thankful, her eyes were saying she wished Tabby would drop dead. Too late, sweetheart. She morbidly thought as her smile widened just slightly. The girl WAS her type.

"Not a problem. I'm glad I could assist."She shrugged off the half-hearted thanks easily. She loved playing and while she'd originally come here to hunt she had preformed in this club before and several regulars knew her. The other male moved towards her with a predatory smirk on his face, and had she not already picked her prey out she might have taken him up on it. As it was she leaned into him when he slipped his arms around her and patted him on the chest, leaning to whisper in his ear.

"Sorry, big boy, already claimed."
She gave him a soft pat on the cheek as she slipped out of his arms, much to his obvious disappointment. She added him to her list to check out later. Shrugging slightly she tossed her hair back over her shoulder, the bracelets on her wrist chiming softly as the first notes from the new band whispered to life on stage. The dark haired woman slipped from behind the stage to the main area, easy to miss as her inky black corset and small skirt blended perfectly in despite the buckles and such catching the still dancing lights. Her gaze danced briefly over the new band before zeroing in on the male who was now watching the stage and still leaning against the pole.

"Looking for someone?"She asked casually, settling one hand on her hip as she tipped her head to one side and watched him from playful dark eyes in the flickering colors. She had his attention immediately.

"Maybe." He replied with a shrug and an attempted at nonchalance that had her smile widening to flash white teeth but not the tips of her fangs. She tipped her head towards one of the booths back in the darker area of the club by the walls. His blue eyes followed the motion and then came back to her with an almost hopeful question in them.

"You buy the drinks." She told him with a flick of her wrist that sent the cascade of her dark hair once more over her shoulder as she sauntered towards tables with enough sway in her hips thanks to the tall heels of her thigh high boots to keep him interested. With an easy grace she slipped into the booth despite the leather skirt against the equally black vinyl seating. The dark haired male slipped in after her, holding two drinks in his hands both rum and cokes by the look of it. She leaned forward and smiled at him, snagging the glass and letting her black coated fingers brush along his on the glass before she pulled it towards her and lifted it to ruby red lips to take a taste. Rum and Coke it was, she thought as she absently tapped her finger against the glass in time to the music.

"So, come here often?" The male asked into the awkward silence that stretched between them, turning her attention away from the band she leaned up on the cusion using the table as a hold until she was on her knees over him.

"Often enough. You?" She asked him in a soft purr as she leaned into his side and brushed a strand of hair away from his face. His gaze riveted on her lips briefly before he caught himself and went for calm again.

"A few times." He shrugged as if it was really no big deal.

"I guess its a good thing I came tonight then, I might have missed you otherwise."She breathed softly in his ear before she shifted her weight to abruptly straddle his hips. Strange that her early lessons from her mother would actually be worth something. Mentally shrugging the train of thought away she leaned forwards watching the human's eyes that were brilliant blue and as large as cups now.

"Yeah, I guess." He gulped, her gaze following the motion hungrily as she ran her tongue along the top of her lips and leaned the rest of the way into him using the back of the seat to keep their positions. Her hair fell forward and acted as a curtain as her lips sealed over his neck. The only sound he made was a sharp inhalation and then his hands settled on her hips partially touching the cool exposed skin of her stomach. After that he only panted against her cheek as she drew the crimson liquid she lived on to the surface and let it slide like candy down her throat.

A couple of minutes later she lifted her lips up, swiping her tongue along his flesh to seal the wound and take the last drops of blood there before she sat back on his knees and leaned back enough that her now whiskey colored eyes could look over his face. His pretty blue eyes were dazed his skin slightly pale but his breathing was good as was the pulse she could feel in the hands still holding her hips.

"Wha-?"He began, lips pushing to form coherent words. She smiled at him softly, lips just a shade more realistically red as she pressed the glass to his lips.

"Drink, your just a little dizzy, probably from the lights." She crooned softly, as he reflexively did as she asked. She ran a hand through his dark hair once more in silent thanks as the music continued to beat like a living pulse around them and the dark club flickered in multi-hued lights from above.

She looked closely as the women seem to move quick despite her age but age for vampires only meant that they grew stronger. Her blade cut the top of the chair clean off like how a guillotine lops off a head or any other tragic body part that is place in it’s path. The massive woman seemed to comment on her speed and Broda could only smirk. There speed was just about even but that massive weapon that lady Awa carried told her much about her strength. Not only that she didn’t hear her blade cut threw the wind as she moved which meant she was stronger then she looked. Blades usually cut threw the wind with immense speed but Broda heard nothing from hers. Which if any martial artist or sword master knew that was a sign of complete control over your weapon. She had made the wind look like a coward with her strength. It didn’t bother to whistle or scream out when she cut threw it. That was something to be taken too.

She tilted her head diverting her eyes from bright moon filled light glinting off of Lady Awa’s mighty axe. Almost as if the moon was her slave and it was only there to make her look mightier. Well, it seemed even the gods up above were fond of this women. Another advantage that the mature vampire had. Those special effects were quite thrilling an all but they were only for show. She would say exactly what she really could do soon enough!

She hinted, hoping that Broda’s strength was stirring and electrifying like her promptness.” Stay tuned, Your majesty, you will certainly find out.” There was a cocky glint in her voice. She referred to the women as a queen because that’s how cowards like Lintain and her followers seemed to treat her so why shouldn’t she do the same? She was such a good child and that was the ones you worried about. They would continue to smile in your face and then stab you behind the back.

Of course her queen sent some encouraging words after. She wanted her to try harder and surly she would. She would hate to disappoint such beauty. She wanted to have fun since lady Awa herself seemed about to enjoy herself. Her back was still towards the women in the same stance that she ended with after getting the women off of her throne. With in a instant her eyes seemed to turn red or rather crimson like a animals blood. What was she doing? Well, it was time to make Lady Awa hallucinate a little bit. A trick she learned from her mother and actually couldn’t wait to try it out. Though , due to Lady Awa’s experience she wasn’t expecting it to be long winded. She just wanted to play with the women’s mind a bit. She had images of her fathers battle so she know how he died. When he died so did someone else and that was what she wanted to play. From the glare that Lady Awa gave earlier. That was the only thing that could even come close to mentally moving such a woman.

Battle didn’t scare, but she was certain reliving that dreadful day would and that’s how there true fun would begin. Her voice projected almost like it was trailing off,”Lady Awa….do you miss him, miss Loki?” When she mention Loki then it was almost a whisper. She turned and her eyes would be violently glowing like club lights and If Lady Awa looked at her which she probably would because she didn’t seem the type to take her eye off her opponent, then the hallucination would begin. It would follow as her watching the battle that happened seventeen years ago. She would watch how the Raganar women gave up herself to kill Broda and as Broda was dying that’s where the fun would really begin.

It would show a crawling Loki, reaching out to Awa to say his last goodbyes but sadly If Awa reached out to him he would grow further away. This was just to show how far away he really was and that she would never reach him unless she decided to join him in death. Meanwhile as her hallucination took place then her eyes drifted over to the shadows were the man placed himself. She didn’t like others spying on her especially in such a eerie manner. He smelled of lycan blood so obviously he had some fun with her mother’s pets. She could be worried to much about it and besides Lintain was there so he wouldn’t let anyone interfere…..still this mans presence was quite interesting to take in so once he showed his face she would have to make a note of who he was.

Your deaths will not be quick.
Your deaths will not be painless.
I will make you suffer until your heart stops
beating.
I will then go about of making your heart
beat again and then I will kill you again.
You shall suffer despair over and over
and over again until i get bored of
watching your eyes stare at me
and then I will give you the ultimate
death of my fangs. You all will be buried beneath
my father because that's what your are,
his subjects. His legacy shall live on.

Sliding caress across alabaster, ruby does bloom
Kissed by the loving glow of the harvest moon.

There was no screaming now, although the last few echoes of it seemed to cling to the darkest shadows as the soul had done to the husk. A slim finger lifted and painted the pale lips of the beautiful young woman who blankly stared at the stars just the faintest start to the corpse glaze in the hazel orbs. With a found, soft smile a pale haired woman lifted that finger to her own lips and licked catlike at the blood that remained. Her own orbs the same color as the splashes that decorated her alabaster skin and sprinkled like bright gems in the silver-blonde cascade that pooled around her kneeling form.

"Tente, baba, tente, a szemedet hunyd be. Aludj, ingó-bingó, kicsi rózsabimbó. Alszik az ibolya, csicsíja babája*."A lilting voice sang softly, untrained but sweet as the lullaby rose into the night while the pale woman leaned forward and ran her tongue along the exposed edge of the neck wound that had finally killed the woman, bits of white bone sticking up and steaming slightly. The slim tongue slipped over those carefully cleaning them before darting back into the ruby streaked lips. As she did so a blood splattered hand brushed gently through the tangled strands of dyed black that had been the woman's hair, straightening them and smoothing them to lay flat around her face like a halo.

With care, pausing only to lick at the slowly cooling flesh, the pale woman smoothed out the dead woman's cloths ignoring the places where they were shredded beyond repair. The skin as mangled as the clothing that had once covered it. A hand dipped into the huge cavern that had been a well toned stomach until it was covered to the wrist and then moved around as if she was searching for something. Leaning forward further, the massive spill of blonde hair cascading forward to drape over the woman's still form and absorb more blood into the locks, Ellyn buried her arm to the elbow before her questing fingers closed around the object of her search. The beautiful smile surfaced once more before she pulled back with only a faint snap of resistance.

The delicately shaped hand came free revealing the meaty heart. Like the neck she brought it to her mouth and cleaned the object with care so it only glistened softly from her saliva. Her head lifted, crimson eyes glancing over the object before lighting with satisfaction as she set the heart down over one mangled breast where it would have been had it still been inside. Cocking her head to the side she brushed her platinum strands behind her ear with the still heavily coated hand leaving a bright streak.

Humming now the gentle candances of the lullaby from before she finished arranging her victim to her liking so that the pale young woman lay like a slaughtered goddess across the stained concrete of the ally. Although other than the bright crimson splatters there wasn't nearly as much blood as the carnage suggested their should be. In a smooth shift the vampire countess rose to her full, if diminutive, height and once more surveyed her work.

"Youth eternal." She whispered in English for the young woman, having promised her that very thing when she'd lured her into the darkened ally. She was, after all, a Lady of her word. Full and rather pleased she stepped from the ally the loose silken folds of her silver dress splattered with red as was the rest of her. Giving it a cursory brushing movement with her hand, thus smearing more color on its length, she dismissed it as once more back in place and drifted away from the ally with no worry of being spotted. One more death that night would mean nothing to her and she had discovered as time passed that humans would gloss over her blood, their minds refusing to believe she could be splattered and moving like a ghost past them.

The blood red lips lifted into a condescending smile at the humans who had changed so little and yet so greatly. How many deaths before they even took notice? And yet they were like hornets as soon as aroused. It was fun to shake their nest and watch them scurry. But as the shadows grew darker and night closed its hands around the heart of the city completely she was ignored as she moved through the inky stretches.

By the time a startled scream drew police to the scene of the crime the Lady Nadasdy was well away and towards the outer limits of the city. Her manor, the same one that was used by all of her kin, was located just outside of town. A mix between an old church long defiled and a manor the likes of which she was used too it was comfortable to the elder vampire. She had a meeting to attend to tonight, or she might have stayed out and found further entertainment to be had in the city that was their hunting grounds. Still the one kill had soothed some of the need and she could easily face the meeting with prospects of hunting again tomorrow. The thought brought a pleased smile to her lips and her eyes glowed faintly in the moonlight as she had passed beyond where regular street lights were at.

Ellyn's crimson gaze stayed ahead as her feet ghosted over the gravel, it was the smell of blood that had her pausing faintly and turning her head. A stray breeze blew a streaked patch of platinum into the pale oval of her face as she turned towards the tantalizing scent. It only took her a moment to decide that the meeting could wait for her as her body swayed gracefully towards the smell and she moved as silent as a ghost her coloring resembled towards it.

A loud question was easy to hear as someone demanded of an unseen other figure how they could protect someone, the pale woman gave a regal snort and dismissed the sounds of the fight as it was unimportant. A large vehicle, the ones so popular and annoying from this time, blocked her view of them and their own sounds would easily mask her approach. On bare, bloodstained feet she stepped up to the cab and leaned up on tip toes to try and see in the door. Unable to do so she pouted before reaching up and wrapping her fingers around the mirror leaving a perfect hand print and stepped up onto the rung for entering the machine.

Crimson drifted disinterestedly over the garbage of a place where someone mostly lived, cups and wrappers and such. Her nose wrinkling delicately at the filth before catching on the opposite window which was heavily streaked of blood. Immediately a smile graced her full lips before she stepped back down in a rustle of silk and started moving around the front. She didn't care about the fight, she wanted to see the body...and perhaps have a little fun. If either of the fighters were worth paying attention too, but if one of them caused that crimson smear...well then she would just HAVE to play to see how good they really were. Maybe she could make them an angel. She hoped it was a woman.

LYRA

User Image “Non what so ever.” Lyra replied Casion's comment with a measured smile which poorly reflected on her face. Even with her shoulder the way it was she was still able to fight and defend herself. She ignored the whiny aching but instead watched in mild surprise as he fished the child from under the rubble and corpses. As if that wasn't surprising enough on itself he even defended her and got himself injured. What an idiot. Lyra wasn't per definition one to hurt mortals if she didn't have to but there had been no reason for him to defend her. Whatever way you looked at it the child had seen too much and Casion should have just left her there or killed her himself. Seemed the boy took more after his mother then people realized. Well if he wanted to keep her it was non of her business. More slowly she flicked her eyes in the Lycan woman's direction. Impressive but not very scary. Lyra looked her directly in the eye without looking away. However she had always been taught to be polite towards her elders and this woman was clearly an old, over aged hag. “ I'll try to remember that for next time. Lady Awa would be mad at me if I made a mess of Ragnar. Who knows she might even want to make you part of her collection herself.” She smiled pleasantly at the woman, as if she didn't have a care in the world and then turned her back on her as if she had lost her interest. The truth was that she still had her ears perked in case the woman would get any funny ideas about attacking her but the woman vanished after hissing a last warning towards Casion. If she didn't know any better she'd swear they where family.

There wasn't a moments peace however as a new vampire entered the scene and one Lyra had never seen before either. The term “Looks can be deceiving” completely and utterly applied her. She looked innocent enough, sure, but her actions spoke off no such thing. Lyra thought, although she wasn't a hundred percent sure, the girl was Ganrel. Now it was obvious the girl didn't like her. Lyra could only ever guess why. The assamites had lot's of enemies. It came with the risk of being an assassin. “ What rock have you been living under?” Lyra replied smoothly. The girls drained the Lycan carcass almost sooner then she could blink. She probably didn't have a very good taste. Lycan blood was yucky. Whatever the case might be Casion explained their situation pretty well. It was good he was aware of that fact himself. However yucky the girls eating habit was Lyra could always appreciate a little game. So an amused grin plastered on her face once she realized what the Gangrel had just done. She had no doubt it would be very interesting, but she didn't follow them. It sort of struck her like a game for two and she would hate to interfere in such fun play. She waved goodbye to their disappearing backs with her good arm waiting until she could no longer see them before dragging her feet back to HQ.

The fight at the mansion seemed pretty much over. Like she predicted the assamites had beaten their enemies and where busy cleaning away the corpses now. Oh, they where quite thoughtful. It wouldn't do if the humans got back onto the streets in the morning and found a massacre. People might ask questions. Lyra lightly stepped over the body of a dead vampire and up the steps to the front door. “ Is lady Awa back yet?” She asked the first male she came across in the hallway. “ Not seen her yet.” He replied. “Not seen Kyran either.” He told her before she could even ask, which earned him a grin from the raven haired female. “ Thanks, PL. Any chance you can take a look at my shoulder before I'm gonna find Kyran?” The tall, dark male frowned but helped her shrug off her jacket all the same. She knew there was some jaw clenching to be done because the joint obviously needed to be popped back into place. It was not the most painless business but it needed to be done so she could go back out on the street and check if Kyran was not dying somewhere in some dark alley.

It couldn't have been a more perfect night for Vester to be out. Dark, Crips Air, and a bright moon....that was almost full. That part actually worried him a little bit, only because he knew that he still had that same uneasiness that had haunted him from before, but still, it wasn't acting up, so he thought nothing of it. The more that he stood out there in the shadows watching this female figure, the more he got the urge to jump in and just annihlate her existance....but not now. It wasn't the right time. it was this moment that he had picked up on a second being, one that was way to familiar, from his memories, and from his dead soul. "Lintain......he has gotten strong" Interesting how that was the first thing that Vester picked up on from his shadow gaze that seemed to be peircing the crust of the earth from hell itself. His eyes were getting a little more red, and narrowed slightly after acknowledging what would soon be another target.

It was at this point the the flashbacks started to play through his mind. The many nights of years past with the old crew. He, Lintain, and Consoa when brody was still alive, and how he hated the fact that he was separated from lain the entire time. He had no control over his body like he was just some simple bloodsucking super strong marrionette from the devil, and he couldn't stand any of it. It was probably one of the top 5 worst parts of his afterlife, behind having to kill his own master, behind finding out about the damn curse in the first place. So many lives were taken, so many turned......and so many more for the wrong reason. The same days he spent in the cavern that they had stolen from the Ragnar pack, being forced to sit in the same room with this man, only feet from him, and yet knew that he could not rise his hand against him to strike him down like the foe that he was, and he knew at the time it would have been effortless for him, and honestly, who was to say that it wouldn't be effortless for him again? time has passed, and alot of the reasons why Vester held back in the first place.....the Ragnar, The assamites, now mattered to him not. Sergio's words didn't matter to him anymore, and all of the tall tales that he was once told about the curse now all came to be false.

it was time to go back to doing things his way, and that was hunting down the dirty bloods and eliminating them himself.

It was amazing how many thoughts were crossing through his mind in a matter of milliseconds. Whether he should jump in and just kill them both, or wait for the right moment and just give the finishing blow. Well soon his thoughts were going to be interrupted as his counterpart had left the house. He could feel it.....as always. "Sigh.....Lain.....I'm fine if you are coming after me, i havent done anything to them yet..." He sent a mental message to his hidden love. It was going to be on day that he was finally going to tell her up front how he felt about her all of these years...but for some reason he still didn't feel the time was right yet. Hi physical attention went back to the slight combat before him where he noticed the female that he was studying at first had done yet another familiar technique, one that he had seen Consoa do many a times in the past, and this time it seemed that she wasn't using it on Lady Awa. Even though the Valkyrie queen is way to strong for that to have a lasting effect, he knew that even a small window like that could create an opportunity.

"Just......what.....are you?" his voice was almost low and devious, as he slowly walked from behind the saftey veil of the shadows that hid the identity of his face, which was now being kissed by the moonlight of the waxing moon in the night sky. If no one knew that vester was present, they knew he as present now, as he glared directly at the Female copy of the man he hated the most in his entire eternity that he called life.....or damnation.....which ever one he felt that day. "Whatever you are....it would be in your best interest to listen to your counterpart next to you and regroup....." He suggested strongly as he nodded over towards Lintain, who was standing in the near distance not to far past them.
I'm suffering from a bad case of Amnesia.
I can't remember who I was.
What I did.
Or where I even came from.
They took me In and I am Kyran.
I am grateful for th person I have become.
I'm not sure If I want to know who I really am.
To bad fate doesn't work the way we want it.

User ImageA large yelp could be heard coming from a young assamite from on the roof of the assamite manor. He was never the strongest assamite, and he could never seem to learn any of their traits. He never knew why but he never let that stop him at all. They had taken him in and made an attempt to train him. As he was now then he was hopeless but he still fought along side of them to show his thanks. Lyra, had stood by him and he would do the same. It was embarrassing to see how much stronger she had become. He felt like a complete idiot even try to stand on even ground with her but he was never the jealous type. Some guys had a problem being inferior to a stronger woman but where was the fun in that? If she is stronger then how could you not appreciate a woman, one with curves and beauty not protecting you? If you couldn’t appreciate that because your manly ego got the best of you well then in his eyes you were gay.

Anyways, this young and handsome vampire if he may add was actually just similar to your typical everyday jokester and admirer of life. His short cut eye covering, jet black, hair cover one golden orb. His build was that similar to a skateboarder. He was never one to big but who in the hell wanted all that bulky muscle? Certainly they needed all that do to there romantic swing…..or that’s what he called it at least. Such remarks got him slapped by Lyra but all in all she appreciated a good laugh. As of now though, he wasn’t laughing at the moment because he was being attacked by a vampire and a Lycan. Now surprisingly he wasn’t anywhere near the best discipline user but as far as physical combat then he was an assamite. He could simply just fight. He wasn’t fast or strong sop the next best thing that Lady Awa, Novious, Loki, and Lyra taught him to excel at was none other then countering vindication known as defense. He was just by all means a expert at which is why he was even permitted to be called a assamite.

Claws from both species continued to come at him with blinding speeds but he could use his senses well and he could hear the claw cutting threw the wind. It sounded similar to a whistle which is why he knew how to dodge. He his dead as the claw passed over his head while a swipe came from behind at his lower region. His feet propelled him off the ground and he flipped back. It looked like he was faster then he appeared but he wasn’t. As he flipped back then his sword struck the Lycan’s neck at the back which would be a wound that his thick hands wouldn’t be capable of covering. He would simply die of blood lost. It was only a matter of time before the Lycan fell before him and he smirked. He laughed out cockily. He just felt confident whenever defeating his opponent. Which is why the next thing that happened wouldn’t come as a shock. He was told not to grow over poised with his skills because they could bring great tribulation and sure enough that is exactly what it brung.

The deranged vampire didn’t seem to please by the excited youth’s outburst and decided to capitalize on his nuisance behavior. The vampire swiped and seeing as how he was stronger then Kyran went flying back. Blood immediately erupted from his chest and his body appeared in visual of the people with in the assamite manor as he landed on the roof. His eyes widened and a soft almost French sounding voice erupted from his young lungs,” Oh……s**t…..Lyra….help?” He landed on the glass like roof with a loud thud. It was funny that he called for her. Wasn’t he supposed to be the protector? He chuckled as a little blood trickled from his mouth. The vampire seems to want to end his life and he was playing the part well. He was injured greatly but that was why Novious forced him to develop fortitude so he could take damage. He probably wasn’t the stealthiest vampire but he could take some damage. He looked up to witness the vampire ascending above him and a smirk played across his crimson fluid covered lips and inches away before the vampire landed he turned. The mindless brute crashed threw the roof and Kyran went right along with it. The only good thing to this plan was Kyran had the higher ground and a nice sized sword. They fell fast and Kyran maneuvered his body to place himself directly above the vampire. A loud piercing sound and a huge collision to the velvety floor could be heard with the beast blood splattering on the floor. To his surprise, Lyra was already there. Seemed like someone was checking her. He sat ontop of the dead arrancar’s back with a grin.

Special delivery darling.” He chuckled after his words winking to Lyra. The Assamite attending her wounds glared at him. They weren’t fond of hearing Kyran speak to Lyra because words such as honey, sweetie, baby, or cutie just wasn’t there style. She outranked him in EVERY way possible and they felt he should address her as Lady Lyra like they did? Well to simply put it, in her eyes he was more special than them.” Don’t look at me like that, just patch up my alluring woman.” The assamite eyes grew angered and he raised his voice,

“YOUR ALLURING WOMAN? KYRAN YOUR ANNOYING WORDPLAY WILL BRING US SHAME TOO…..”

Before he could finish then Kyran raised a finger sucking his teeth in a childish way.” Raising your voice in front of Lady Lyra and breaking the code of being calm just makes you not look like a assamite. Such a sad day in your shoes, when Lady Awa finds out. Good luck with one of her training sessions.” He looked to Lyra and winked once more standing up.” So Lyra, what’s the next plan?” His stomach clearly was bleeding but like he had explained, he was a vampire who could take damage. His smirk never left Lyra as he removed his sword from the dead vampire’s spinal cord. Most likely they were going to report to Lady Awa.

Amnesia is what they call when a person forgets?
No,
I call it a change in reality.
Some people don't want to remember who they are.
I am one of those people who like my life.
I like the people in it.
I wont trade them for anything...even power.
My loyalty is unmatched.

Stray grew bored rather quickly of his explanation and to show it, her hand mimicked a duck. ”Blah, blah, blah. That is all I hear out of you, dog boy.” She blew some of her hair out of her face, the silvery strands falling to the side. Crossing her arms over her chest she heard the Assamite say something about hiding under a rock. She smiled at the female vampire, even though they were somewhat enemies, it was nice to hear a joke. ”Eh, hiding isn’t my specialty. Maybe not being informed is more like it.” It had been years since she had crossed over some decent information. The occasional mutt or vampire knew something about what was going on, but lately her kills were nothing but useless chess pieces. Lifting a hand up, Stray played with the rim of her hat, stroking it with her fingers. It was beginning to grow annoying, but she would rather have it on right now than off.

Licking her lips again to get the last taste of Lycans blood off, she gave a faltering smile. It came quickly and was replaced, but she was taking note of the situation. This boy in front of her resembled the girl she had just crossed paths with, well more like spied on earlier. They had the same eyes and the same strong structure, it was almost like they were brother and sister. She didn’t know and didn’t want to ask, she would rather find out herself.

That is when she got the reaction out of the boy about her game. ”What a sly dog. Thinking badly in front of a lady.” Bringing a hand up, Stray trailed a finger down her neck. ”Sorry buddy boy, but I’m not on the market just yet.” She knew the expression on his face was dirty, but that soon changed when her full intention became realized. A cat-ish grin came on her face and she looked at him closely. He was a good looking guy, but her reputation didn’t exactly mix her in the dating group. Like before she came up to him quickly and grabbed the girl.

Her arms were tightly wrapped around the girl’s torso, barely even noticing the constant punches she received from her. She was giggling to herself as she ran down some alley ways and then made it back onto the city streets. No one took notice of what was happening, the night was theirs and its silence made it better. Looking over her shoulder for an instant she could see the boy, but he was no longer what resembled a human. He had changed, just enough to where he could keep track of them. Smiling she liked this game already, even though she was the prey at the moment. ”You have to keep up!” She yelled back towards him, but she didn’t even check if he was still behind her.

The girl kept calling out for the Lycan, calling him “Casi”. She laughed and began to call him out as well, ”Oh Casi, Casi! Come save me Casi!” Stray laughed and there was a skip in her step as she continued onwards. Her cyan colored eyes turned back towards the front of her and then she noticed where he was. The bloody hound had taken a detour, finding his way to the front of the line. Her smile did not falter though and she kept a good grip on the girl. Instead of stopping or back tracking she kept heading straight for the path where the wolf boy was at. Right before impact Stray’s tail curled out from around her waist and grabbed the girl by her back collar. The next thing she did was place her hands on Casion’s shoulders and then jump off of him, ascending into the air. Mid-jump she turned and waved at him. ”As I said, you have to keep up!”

Turning around she found her landing on the top of a rooftop again, this time though her tail was holding onto the girl. Her tail was stronger and was able to maintain a small human child, but it did become a nuisance. When she was far enough she grabbed onto the girl with her arms and held onto her. A couple of blocks more and she stopped and turned her back towards a buildings edge. She let the girl go, but held onto one of her hands. She wasn’t looking at the girl, but instead towards the “cat” that would come towards her. She brought her face towards the girl’s cheek and stroked her hair, almost like the girl was the pet.

Watching the darkness she could smell the wolf in the boy, it was delicious. Even though Stray hadn’t come out just for games, she found it appropriate for tonight. Her eyes did not glow but when she saw the boy approach; she couldn’t help that animal instinct in her. ”We could always fight. It just depends on who the opponent is. Why? Do you have something better in mind wolfy boy?”
All my life it felt like i haven't
fit in and it was because i have not fitted in.
My brain is far more advanced and i know why now,
It's because i am destined to be something
much more, something not human, more like a
humanoid creature, to be specific
a Vampire. An NOW, my call has been
answered, be prepared for what i was born to
be.

User ImageLintain looked at Broda as she screamed at him. It was really interesting to see nonetheless but his job was only one thing, and that was to make sure that she came back alive. That wasn’t a easy job how Consoa thought it out to be. Her daughter wasn’t exactly a person you could reason with and neither was Lady Awa. Not to mention that they were on the Assamite territory. He took in a long sigh and chuckled when she referred to him as a coward. Now she should no better too say such foolish things. He just had no intention of getting into a fight with Lady Awa. See one thing that Brody admired about Lintain was his evolved human mind. When he became a vampire then things only seemed to get more elevated for him. So he knew his limits and sure he could have took the opportunity to fight Lady Awa but where would be the common sense in that. She was obviously the new Assamite Methuselah and the rumors that he heard about her were not comforting. Rumors about the assamites are all facts. So he would simply be a spectator in this fight.

His whole goal was simple, Broda was not to be killed. She wasn’t to be watched like some kind of child because the girl was old and strong enough to make her own decisions. He watched as she took off. He could calculate her speed and Lady Awa’s so before Broda’s blade had already been swung then he smirked as Lady Awa dodged it. She even decided to hint to Broda about her monstrous strength. Well that was impressive. Then he could slightly see the corner of Broda’s lips curl up into a smile. He chuckled and took a step back. He knew what was coming next. That wasn’t what grasped his full attention though. Now he had spotted a person in the shadows Now at first he wasn’t able to see exactly who it was until Lintain’s eyes begin to glow a eerie color. This was his chi muh ability that he had mastered at this point. Which was why the image that he saw before him gave him a shocked look. He hadn’t seen Vester in a while and it was obvious by just that display that he had gotten stronger.

Lintain could only chuckle. Just like everyone who saw Broda then they were curious as to what the hell she was. Even Lintain couldn’t really tell but he knew she was sort of a blended of the species. At this point then her scent came off as Lycan but she was not transformed and nor could she. When that moon hit thought she would become a hybrid so it was only a matter of time. It seemed that he was trying to grasp Broda’s attention but Lintain had a complex mind so he was obviously trying to break her spell. “ Don’t listen to anything he has to say. He is of no concern to you Broda. He’s trying to interfere so continue fighting.”

She would listen to him because she knew how smart he was. That was a crafty move by Vester’s part but was he underestimating the intelligence of Lintain? He raised his behemoth sword and slammed it into the ground to simply grasp Vester’s attention.” That warning was to be taken in account for Lady Awa, not you. But if your so interested in looking for some attention then I would be happy to give you some long waited attention. I never liked you anyway but surly you know what tomorrow night is right? Of course you do. You know like we all know that tomorrow is a full moon. So you realize what’s going to happen. Were all going to change so is it really worth fighting someone who’s going to be our partner tomorrow?

He knew Vester hated the fact that they would be allies. It was nothing he could do about it. So he sat there waited for Vester to reply. He was still looking at Vester’s elemental line to see If he were going to attack.{b] Now that I know your still around I will gladly inform Consoa. She has been looking for you. So I should say I will see you tomorrow night…friend.” So now exactly what would Vester’s reaction be and what was his purpose being hear at the moment? Was he collecting information on the child of Brody? Only time would tell…..

Now that i have got my
right state of mind back
i won't be the weakest
link. I will be a force to be reckoned with.
I serve only one person and that is
none other then master Brody.
His wishes are my future!

User ImageThings were going just as she planned and she couldn’t be delighted anymore then what she already was. She had now mastered the effects of the curse and she was the new leader of the Neo Lasambra for a reason. It seemed that a lot of them were wondering how she progressed. Well as far as her regular skills then she just had mastered them. Her power lay dormant slumbering with in the curse. Which was why tomorrow she would be able to unleash her full fury. See her curse because Brody himself turned her, then she grew stronger and faster y double or no, even triple then what she already was. She was the perfect leader because like Brody she would show no mercy. Over the years of studying then her beauty had not faltered because she was preparing the resurrection of her lost love and Broda’s father. She was certain he would be fond of seeing his daughter. She looked exactly like him, his complexion, his attitude, and even the faces she made when she grew angry but as far as her al around beauty then that came from Consoa.

There was something else though. Another was in town and one who had actually had the curse and wasn’t aware of yet? Or maybe he didn’t want to be found but until the moon rose then she would let him be. Lintain had better be getting ready to come back with her daughter or she would be pissed off and she would have to pay the Assamite manor a visit herself. Still, Lintain’s genius had been working just well.

See, it wasn’t just a effective armor they were making but they copied the same syringe that was used to turn Scion into a merciless killer. He made sure to inject it with in these new recruits that stood before her silent. They were like her slaves so the next attack would not be as easy as this one. She just wanted to see exactly how well they would fair against the guardians and the Assamites. They lasted at least a hour and that was nothing to the real amount that she had. Now also Lintain had made them follow Consoa and his owns voice. So once she or him spoke a order they would listen. It was most likely time for them to feed. She had to keep her underlings full and constantly prepared for battle,.

She stood stretching and made her way to the basement of the hideout. There were multiple humans crying out for help and she smirked. They were trapped in a locked facility and really had no serious way of getting out. All they had become was food for her group. She She pressed a button on the side and a gate opened up with a bright light. There stood her army all with red eyes just starring.” Now my babies, go feed to your hearts content.”

After that the humans looked upon in horror and the feeding process begin. Sounds of people letting out shrieks, bones shattering, and painful moans as if a girl were having there virginity taken. This was so fun to watched. All of her followers gorged themselves in there blood. She walked away making her way back to her seat In which she rested at. She hoped that lintain had gained the proper information for her next plan. They all would be in for a surprise.

Now that he is gone, I am
the new leader but my ideals
have not changed or
faltered. I still carry out his wishes
and his legacy shall live on.
You may not agree with how I treat my Kin
but you will learn to except it. Let's face it, what can you really
do about it? Engaging in combat wont be very wise for you
I am the the oldest Lycan and the most intelligent.
Don't let the looks fool you, If you know
who I am then you know that I am the Devil's Mistress.
Tsukiko.

User ImageShe could simply see everything that was going on. Not visually but automatically her mind was telling her everything she needed to know. So far, new people four to be exact had come into play. One would be Vash, the one who was actually a Neo Lasambra and had no idea of the cursed blood that ran threw his veins, and not mention he was engaging her granddaughter in what he called some sort of friendly play? She chuckled to herself lightly. How touching she felt that it was as she lay back in her science laboratory waiting for the blood sample from Casion that Tsukie had successfully grasp. Meanwhile on the subject of Casion, he was too much like his mother while the girl had a sparking attitude of Scion which Tsukiko immediately took a liking too. Casion however had thrown himself into harms way and then started going out of the way to save a child who’s parents had already been slain. Well, he couldn’t control what or who he was but Tsukiko could. That’s why she needed the boys blood sample. It was quite annoying to see her grandson in such a manner.

She was expecting more of the warrior type. One thing that impressed her was his ability to take his Lycan transformation further which was a direct trait of Scion’s bloodline. So, her thoughts were right, Scion and Caska’s blood of the two different Lycan packs mended well together. It was a successful mix which meant she could do exactly what she wanted. Her blood ran threw the twins and things were about to get interesting nonetheless. Her vision extended further where she could see that Vester had found Broda who was fighting Awa, and Lintain was present. How touching, all the neo lasambra idiots where gathering together. Yes, they all were idiots except for Brody of course. She could respect the mans genius. There ideals were just two different.

Still there was two more she had caught a lovely glimpse of with her discipline. One was with in a club and she didn’t have a good grasp on the girl except that she a vampire who had a deep sync with the music but this second vampire was one to be admired and approached sooner or later. Her killing spree only made Tsukiko herself adore her. Ellyn was her name and she was a strong if not Methuselah of the Samedi clan. Well that said a lot because that clan wasn’t too fond of traitors. Which was going to make it interesting when Tsukiko revealed to the woman that one of her own former members of the Samedi was now apart of the assamites. Yes, his name was Kyran. This information just flowed lovely threw her brain. Lyra, had grown quite wonderful over the years. Of course her being a guardian made her a target as well. Just not yet, she had other plans for the girl.

How could she forget Vester’s special love. The most dangerous of them all. The girl wasn’t actually a fighter which is why she wasn’t a threat yet but, if forced into using her power then she could take things far beyond a level of brody and shut everyone’s power off basically reverting them all back into mere mortals in a sense of the say. They would still be there kind just without a power boost. Even her being the greatest mind in the world could do nothing about it but be prepared. She was almost hoping for that to happen because with her intelligence It would be easy to kill them all. Lain wasn’t a idiot, she was far to smart for such a thing.

Anyway enough of her idea mapping, she had things to take care of and of course it started with her descending offspring. Now she would have loved for Stray to join her party but she didn’t seem like the type to work for anyone which is why Tsukiko took the time to go to a separate city and recruit another personally. A female Lycan of course from Tejin, Scion’s father clan. If anyone could remember, the males were the fighters while the females from that clan supported the males directly. They were capable of fighting but there most powerful skills were to somehow increase the males traits. Thus is why she choose her. The girl was beautiful, far too nice for her to actually be real, and just her grandsons type.

She was protected by something so Tsukiko could only threaten the girl to work for her. Of course she tried to not listen which resulted in the girls sister dying. So now if the girl wanted her mother to stay alive then she would do exactly what Tsukiko told her.” Listen up because this wont be a hard mission for you because of your looks, and all around kind attitude.” The girl looked at her blinking with big beautiful eyes. Tsukiko grasped a picture and showed her Casion and Andrea.” Do you see the boy on this picture? You are to find him and make him fall in love with you by any means necessary. As for the girl, I want you to befriend her and earn her trust. I wont be contacting you while your mission is in play but you know I will be watching. So you know what to do.

The girl nodded and Tsukiko pushed her away. Telling her to get to it. It would be easily to manipulate the twins under the girls power. The instant the girl had there love and trust then she would kick her plan into action. First thing was first, she would have to break that annoying treaty of the Assamite and Ragnar’s. Once they became enemies again then things would be easy. She laughed as the girl left and Tsukie entered. She extracted the blood sample from Scion so her plan was going just well. She saw no reason to go out and play…..yet.
One cold black winter night the night spirit appeared to me
He told me where I must go to truly learn how to see, to hear and to feel
Though the road gets darker ahead I know I can't look behind
I must pursue this pure yet impossible vision of mine

User Image It was a longer journey but due to the proper repose then she was just fine. Besides she was a lycan so she wasn’t going to grow that fatigued anyway. She had came to this city for one reason and that was because she had heard rumors about the cursed ones living here? Now that was strange to her because where she came from, curses pertained to either Lycans or vampires and if that was the case then she would come and help the side that was fighting for the greater cause. As she entered the city the stench of vampire and lycan blood fused plagued her keen nose. The smell was foul! It seemed that she had arrived late to the dance. As she entered the city then the moonlight polished her curvy, tannic figure. Her white hair extend lengthy down her back to her bottom and her warrior outfit was all white. She wore a comfortable top, tight fitting pants, shoes that were equally comfortable, a few accessories from her family name, and of course the shields on her back.

Her gold organs of vision just stared into the city as her soft feet continued to draw her closer and closer to the blood. What she saw next was shocking! What in the hell was this? Bodies of vampires and Lycans scorn to death as if the devil had acted out his exact plan. Worried eyes continued to travel back and fourth! Mortals were also found between the mix, what in gods name had happened to a place. She had heard this place was beautiful but under this dark sky all she saw was ugliness, pure hatred, malice, and just all around a disgusting scent. She disliked this place already but this is exactly what she came here for. She was a outsider so she would try not and break any rules. That was as soon as she found out what they were.

Each town she traveled too had rules, some consisted of not feeding in public, some consisted of not transforming in public, no matter what the circumstances, they simply varied from thing to thing. So if she could find a Lycan then maybe they could explain the details to her so she could offer her assistance. She looked young but she was very capable and she had wisdom behind her beautified appearance. After she continued her walking then she could hear a Lycan growling. Maybe It was in trouble. She walked to the noise inaudibly and came to a stop when she got a glance at it’s fur covered back. A voice slipped from her luscious lips sounding like a song,

Excuse me, I am also a fellow Lycan but I am curious as to what is going on and what are the rules around here.

Her voice went for nothing towards the humdrum beast. He turned around and once more those golden orbs of hers widened. This Lycan before her, one of her kind who she respected was feasting upon a human child as if it were a daily process of killing. She was beginning to see a clear pattern of bloodshed wherever she went in this city. It could be compared to a bad dream that constantly kept replaying itself. She would have considered such events to be a illusion if it wasn’t for the blatant evidence in front of her. She took a step back because never before had she bare witness to such animosity coming from one of her kind. Nor had she come across such fierce, glowing, satanic eyes. That’s what the problem was in this place, something was controlling them. Making them bloodlust the way they did.

Her eyes followed as the Lycan tossed the dead boy aside like a bad carcass of rotted meat. It had it’s eyes set on Massa now in the revolting, and barbaric drool running from it’s mouth gave her a sign that her flesh looked like the next dish on the menu. She was not about to become a snack for one of her own kind. Especially one that was out of control and certainly not aware of what it was doing. She reached behind her back and retrieved one of her shields. She would only need one to deal with such a Lycan. One who was not capable of thing of a strategic plan or a proper course of action to attack her. He was a mindless dog that craved for one thing, flesh.

His initial launch was fast and that was what she expected from such a creature with powerful legs. His approach just as she had concluded from his mere nature was a stupid one. A lunge for her throat. Her foot slammed to the ground and she shifted her weight slightly the left. Her shield and the weight of her body took a step forward and a violent strike could be heard with the Lycan falling on its back. Before the Lycan had a chance to rise from the sheer recoil of her Spartan like attacks her shield had slammed into his ankles snapping them like twigs. Her eyes showed that of not anger but of a warrior warning this opponent before her that it would not be wise to continue such a battle. It didn’t matter because if she wanted too, it would be completely pointless. The beast would not be able to walk for some hourse.

It was this exact mercy of sparring people that got her into trouble this time. She didn’t realize in this town that when you went up against the Neo Lasambra member then that the only thing accurately to do was to kill them. They would continue to keep on fighting to no end. Sooner then later did the wolf use the strength from his arms to launch himself at her again. She could hear his massive lunge and she sighed. She had never sheathed her shield so now she took a spinning motion once again like a Spartan and her shield slammed into the wolf again and his body fell limp onto her shield which impaled him on his blades.

She had gave her warning that her mercy only went but so far and making a attempt on her life meant that it was time to prove that if she had to she would kill. She was a protector and nothing more. She grasped both the shield handle with both arms and yanked it backward taking off the Lycan’s head with it. She made a cross sign on her chest with her fingers honoring the deceased fiend and dipped her golden shield into the water to erase the memory of the battle and blood from her shield. She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath concentrating, listening to the sounds of war an such and she picked up the sound of voices.

Her Celerity quickly came into play. She followed her profound senses and made her way to her destination. Now the first thing she seemed to notice was a girl holding onto a human child making a run for it. Her eyes diverted her too the boy who was bleeding. She even had to admit his blood was mesmerizing. It smelled like the finest honey that only the queen of bees was capable of producing. He was injured but he didn’t seem to worry to much about injuries because his main focus was on the female carrying the child. Not to mention that his scent labeled him as a Lycan. Well at least this boy was trying to uphold some kind of peace in this wretched city. She wouldn’t ask him the details yet. She offered him a concerned smile looking at his wound.” You look like a tough individual so should we go retrieve the girl back? Massa Porca, female Lycan, and all around protector of the innocent. Nice to meet your Acquaintance sugar. I think I will ask what is going on around here once the child is safe.” Once that said she looked up at the girl who had a tail. She took a huge leap and made her way on top of the roof landing not softly how you would expect but rather softly like a feather.

She stood up and looked at down at the golden eye, dark haired boy and she smirked. She would turn and make a quick chase for the cat like vampire. All she wanted was the girl back and then she would leave the boy to handle it. She listened as the girl obviously called out what appeared to be the boys name.”Casi She would keep that name in mind so she would have to call him boy. She felt that all people deserved respect until they gave her a reason not to disrespect them. Even the cat vampire before her deserved a well known respect. Playing keep away with a mortal was wrong was it not? Still it didn’t seem like the young looking vampire had any real intention of harming the girl which was why she though of this to be sort of a game. It’s just that Casi and the young mortal were not enjoying it. She could respect Casi because it seemed that despite his injuries then he was prepared to do whatever it took to save the young hominid from any kind of potential danger. Well, she would assist regardless if it was any of his business. She doubt he would have a problem with it since it was for a greater cause. She was certainly going to have to learn this city very well but soon and hopefully a explanation would be given to her about the current situation so she could offer her help. This wasn’t going to be a quick breeze of protecting like she thought. She could sense all kinds of Lycans and Vampires near and none of them gave off the thought in her mind or being close to weak. All she hoped that she could do was help. This girl was faster but she was special in short burst and in addition with her strength her short burst of speed were immense so she wasn't going to get away, not with what appeared to be a hostage.

Beaten and bleeding but still going strong, we're riders on the storm
So close to reaching what we have been searching for since we were born
The road to Glory is paved with good intentions or so I have read
Well, the road to Light illumination - decorated with goldand acceptance
Somewhere far off, beyond the bright city lights and beyond the new, young, still outbreaking chaos.....there was a meeting of a different nature going on, and a gathering of different powers that had many things on thier plate to discuss. Appearantly the Angels had to meet with Gabriel about why the spiritual balance on earth was still off due to Brody's attempt at forming a pact with the devil. You see, this was an error that was supposed to be corrected by the angel Mikal after Brody was defeated successfully, and the bond was prevented from completing. The meeting was to find out why it wasn't done, and what could be done about it at this point:

Mikal: "but sir, you dont' understand, there was no way that i could restore it, it is still being tampered with!!!"

Gabriel: "I don't want to the hear that, and neither does the father. the fact is Paradise is not going to remain 'paradise' for too much longer if the shift remains in favor of HIM!!"

Mikal: "Sir Gabriel i understand that, and trust me when i say i have been trying to cut the spiritual bonds between the Paradise and Hell ever since that meddler was killed by the unholy immortals, but something is making them as i break them! i think there is another unholy creature down there that is trying to pick up where that fool left off."

Gabriel: "I see....well then we will have to monitor from up here. you must at least keep the unbalance from getting worse, you see. if it does then those unholy beings, and the humans as well, could end up in a something that would make their little world war look like it was a world wide stage play, and we dont' want that, because that will surely upset the father if he has to get involved....

?????: "Then i may be of some assistance. I have had to deal with that fool when i was still roaming paradise, and if i am given permission, i may be able to at least Aid in restoring the balance.....or worse, fighting in that war that so far seems inevitable...

Gabriel: "You were just granted permission to rest your soul uphere. But i guess due to your 'experiences, then maybe you could lend us a good hand if and when we have to make our pressence known."

?????:"thank you, Sir Gabriel"

The meeting in that realm carried on for a while, and even a few tempers flared. Some of the angels got so heated, that Incredibly strong rumbles of thunder would rip through the sky as if someone were tearing a phone book in a megaphone, and was even strong enough to send shockwaves through the grounds of the inner city, strong enough for anyone walking to feel. Would anyone really know what was going on? Maybe the astute could figure it out, but first that would mean that everyone would have to be aware of the unfinished business that was left upon Brody's death 17 years ago. 17 years the tear in the realms was left unchecked, 17 years it was left slightly open, like cracking you bedroom door with the hallway light one, just enough to give you a taste of what could come if you were around to see it. Well the Angels knew, and they were trying to fix it, but someone kept the tear open all of these years. Someone knew that some work had to be done to finish what he started, and to think, it takes a kingdom of Angels to try and fix, what it only takes One person to open up.

A book once said that paradise was tainted because of a womans touch....who would think that it could happen again.......
NO more inhibitions....
NO more regrets....
NO more pain....
the time to hunt....is NOw

It seems as though the girl were a little slow to respond, and it also seems that Vesters old 'Friend' for lack of a better term, had found the guts to address him about the evening, about him being there, and most of all, about that dreaded curse. Ofcourse Lintain would remind him that when the curse takes over Vester, they fight side by side against anyone that isn't cursed for the most part, that much he didn't need a reminder. Well for that Vester looked towards lintain after he felt in necessary to slam down an enourmous sword into the street. Hmph, pretty impressive he guessed, taking something that big, that sharp, and using your strength against the unaware, and probably shaking in his boots concrete that these mortals made, thinking it was strong enough to withstand someone like them. Right. he did't have to do that much for vester to talk to him. Even if he wasn't successful in distracting that She creature, He knew Awa's age alone would shake that weak discipline off in a matter of moments. "You still don't know a childs place i see.....and you must not know....though the curse is still around, I'm strong enough to fight it....so i may be your ally....i may not be....interesting gamble i may say..." After he said his piece of sarcasm, Vester took exactly two steps back, and extended a sharp shadow blade from behind him, bending it between vesters legs like a snake, but he was using this to do any harm to Lintain, no not at all. He knew all too well that Lintain could see him conjure his chi to do it, and that means he could also see how much easier it was for him to wield his servent of the night, the shadows.

That shadow blade finally met its end of the line at the side of Lintains massive blade, and at that moment, the tip of the shadow began to glow a dark deep red, as if it were a blacksmith project fresh from the smithing oven and making its way to the anvil. The heat from it could be felt, but it was not on fire. That heated shadow blade then started to carve words into the side of Lintains massive weapon of choice. Maybe Vester had become somewhat of a jerk to the right people, but he couldn't help himself at this point, only because Lintain failed to mention that Vester could fight the curse due to his mental strength....something he should have known back then since he could still communicate with lain even while under the influence. The carving in the sword read:

VESTER WAS HERE........ 50% chance

Once the carving was done the shadow blade simply vanished back into the night, and the heat remaining was that only from the words on his sword, which immediately began to cool and become permanent. "My shadows are gambling men i see.... your lucky they aren't using you sword as a bookey. A small chuckle escaped his lips as he took a couple steps back before turning his back to the crowd and back tracking his steps to meet up with Lain. He figure the better thing to do would be to cut her off and meet her half way so they could talk about the following night and how she would probably have to subdue him....again....since it was indeed a full moon. "If only Lain faught......man...." Was the thought that echoed with the wind in his mind, thinking about all the times that Lain had very easily stripped his powers away simply by concentrating, and that when he did hit her after that, it was like trying to break a diamond with a paper airplane, before she would let out a sigh and knock him unconcious. The thought of that really made him laugh alittle, because it was rather comical. Crazy and raging Vampire that is so feared and hunted at the same time gets KO'd by sweet innocent non confrontational angel of the night. It could be a newspaper headline honestly. Shaking his head of the antics that had just passed he merely made his way from the area slowly, just incase someone tried something stupid, like attacking him from behind.

Well it seemed that this girl wanted to make an impression on the inner city. Finally coming out into the open and challenging Lady Awa first, of all people Broda had chosen one of the strongest Assamites. It was a bold move, and spoke a lot about the childs character. Clearly she was confident in her abilities, either that or just to cocky for her own good. Awa’s green eyes glittered as she looked upon the miniature monster. Stay tune she said? Apparently Awa was going to experience first hand what the spawn of Consoa and Brody was really capable of. The question was, how far was the girl going to push herself. Would she hold anything back? Or would she lay it all on the table for Awa to see. Only battle would tell. However for Broda’s sake it would be in her best interest not to hold back, because once Awa got a feel for the girl’s abilities she certainly wasn’t going to. She would destroy this abomination, crush her beneath her spiked heels and listen to her whine and cry like a tortured puppy.

“Come child, I don’t like to be kept waiting” Awa drawled as she stared at the girls back. Did she plan on just standing there like some statue?

That was when Broda looked over her shoulder. There gazes mat, and Awa watched as the young girls eyes changed from purple to a deep life liquid hue. Suddenly it began to feel like a fog had fallen over her. Things appeared hazier, and sounds trailed off and seemed to echo into nothingness. It didn’t take a genius to figure out that the girl was spinning some sort of metal web for Awa to ensnare herself in. ”Lady Awa….do you miss him, miss Loki?” as Broda spoke her red eyes suddenly illuminated, and the scene before her just melted away.

A veil had been pulled over her eyes, blinding her to what was actually in front of her and replacing it with memories. Awa no longer stood inside the Cathedral, but instead in the Assamite manor…the stage of the wars last battle. Before her eyes stood Brody, alive and still well. It was a familiar sight, Awa had been there to watch Brody’s demise. With the death of Loki, the curse had been weakened and allowed the creature be struck down. And the woman to do it stood before Lady Awa, still breathing. Caska DaCiana stood before the monster squaring off with him for the last and final time. Clutched in her hand were several syringes, she had intended to inject Brody with their contents. However each and every time she tried Brody had fended her off. Things had appeared grim as Brody’s forces began to descend. And that was when the lycan woman had made the decision to end everything, even at the cost of her own life. Awa witness as Caska charged Brody for the last time, only to let herself be captured and drained by the monster. Brody had been greedy and power hungry, the idea of draining on of the very last pure lycans had been to tempting that he hadn’t realized that the contents of the syringes that Caska had held now traveled in her own blood. The Ragnar leader had injected herself with a more then lethal dose, not even Brody had been able to survive.

There were screams of anguish as the woman’s body went limp. However Awa had not been focused on the death of the alphaess. No she had been to preoccupied with the death of her own lover. Speaking of which, he was crawling towards her with his hands outstretched. Seeing his face did stir emotions in the great vampiress, however she didn’t reach out to him. This was all fake, an illusion. Awa’s eyes closed “if you are going to try and trick me with illusions, you shouldn’t show me people that I know to be dead” Once one deciphered reality from hallucination it was more then easy to break out of the mental trance. When Awa’s green eyes opened again the glazed over look had disappeared. “my lover is gone, and while I may still feel for him….he can no longer be my weakness little girl” Awa was nice enough to inform Broda. “So keep your childish parlor trick to yourself” just as she spoke her last word she lunged as top speed at Borda. Her muscles rippled as her legs propelled her body and her ax was drawn back. Once she was within range Awa used all her might to bring the ax down, as if she intended to slip the girl down the middle. However Awa was expecting the girl to dodge, because if she blocked with her own weapon then she better hope that it could withstand the pressure of Awa’s blow.
