The voyage the meeting hall was taken a bit slow in consideration of Casion’s condition. Although he was trying to pick of the pace Andrea would simply grab his shirt to ensure he take it easy. She could smell the blood as he slowly began to tear back open his wounds, and it was driving her mad in more than one way. On one end it sickened her with worry, but on the other there was a small part of her was excited by the smell. It was that newly awoken predator in the back of her mind begging for a taste. Andrea was trying to think of anything else in efforts to drown the voice out. Her father said to talk to it, and negotiate. However Andrea didn’t think that this….thing was the bargaining type. All it wanted was to be free to do what it wanted. It seemed pretty confident that Andrea would eventually be swallowed up in the madness and lose permanent grip. So it was just biding it’s time.

Anyways the vampires were all probably gnawing impatiently on the table waiting for their arrival. However they were just going to have to wait a little bit longer. Andrea simply trekked along just behind her brother, golden eyes boring intensely into his back. Every time he winced or stumbled she was sure to be there to steady him. Despite his forgiveness Andrea still felt responsible for his state. And to be honest, she would probably feel the pang of guilt for a long time to come. Casion wasn’t the only one Andrea had to keep from falling though. The tall ghostly white girl that was once her dog seemed to have difficulty trekking through the forest. Her sky blue dress kept getting caught by stray branches and she continuously tripped over rocks and whatever else was in her path. She may have learned to walk, but she was in no way a pro just yet. And so eventually Artemis just latched herself onto Andrea’s arm to stay balanced.

Before they even arrived at the meeting hall Andrea could smell more blood. This wasn’t making things easier for her. She had to take a few deep breaths before actually walking closer. What she saw when they finally reached the Hall of Methuselah’s was shocking to say the least. The entire place was in shambles, but it was the man with wings that caught Andrea’s attention first. Her father had said something about Novious being brought back to life…was that him? It had to be….he was an angel wasn’t he? The thing inside her seemed to have a vehement aversion to the heavenly presence, and it was giving Andrea a slight migraine. However Novious didn’t stay long, he left in quite a hurry…and sounded somewhat upset about soemthing. Not that Andrea really cared…she actually felt more relieved with him gone. Her head had finally stopped buzzing.

Casion as usual was very formal as he approached the group. Andrea for once just seemed to hang back. Instead her eyes went to survey the damage as well as the others present. Awa looked pissy as usual, Lyra and Kyran were also present. And hopefully she couldn’t have to listen to the loudmouth at all today. He had already called her a crybaby once today…she had not forgotten. And if he poked any fun at her she was probably going to rip his head off…without even meaning too. Vester and Lain were also in attendance…along with a few people that Andrea did not recognize. There was a tall statuesque woman and a white haired man that Andrea had never seen before in her life. Andrea wasn’t exactly a fan of unfamiliar bloodsuckers. Could you really blame her? Those that were new to the city were usually the ones that Andrea had to exterminate because they violated the terms of the treaty.

“looks like someone dropped a bomb around here” Andrea just muttered as her eyes once again roamed around. Casion was busy being polite and Andrea was actually trying to avoid drawing attention to herself for a change. Andrea didn’t know if anyone could sense she was different, and she didn’t really care to find out. All she waned was to talk about getting rid of Brody and then go back to the den and attempt to sleep. Although after today she wouldn’t be surprised if she was stricken with acute insomnia. Aside from Brody the only other thing that Andrea wanted to know about was what could have possibly happened to her dog. And speaking of the pale woman, Artemis must have been intimidated about all the new people because she suddenly moved behind Andrea. Although it seemed sorta useless, seeing as she was about an entire head taller than her human shield, but she cowered none the less.

The cat was out of the bag. Brody had revealed what Novius had been keeping secret from them all. The two men were actually half brothers. That sort of information was enough to make the others present question Novius, and it was clear that it was irritating him. Especially when the newcomer mind decided to compare him to Sergi. That was a foolish move. Awa just remained stoic and watched as Novious actually began to pace and make excuses as to why he didn’t tell them. Now Awa respected her fellow assamite, but she was not the sort who was going to listen to complete bullshit. “ Forgive me for interrupting….but did you say you were waiting for the right time to tell us” Awa suddenly spoke up as Novious was in the middle of his out of character ranting. Her green eyes narrowed ever so slightly and she took two steps closer to the white haired man. “That’s a bunch or crap Novious and you know it” it was certainly a bold statement to make. Their was a slight pause before she continued, as if she was waiting for him to realize just how stupid it sounded himself. However when the silence became prolonged Awa decided to just continue. “Don’t you think that the best time to tell us might have been when Brody first appeared to us…… fifteen years ago”

The information might not have helped the situation turn out any differently but at least it would have been a chance for him to reveal the truth. “I’m not walking away from this fight just because of something this petty…..but it disappoints me that you thought you had to hide it from us Novius, family should not keep things from one another.”

That was all that Awa had left to say, which was fine seeing as the wolves finally showed up. That meant the blonde wolf Massa could be tapped, and so could Lyra. Now there would be five guardians in all, and together they would have the power to take down Brody. Or at least that was what Novious decided to say as he finished tapping the two girls. He left shortly after, leaving everyone standing there to contemplate exactly what had just happened. They had all gather for a meeting that had quickly turned into a battle. And then the secret of Brody and Novious’s relationship was revealed. There was a lot to think about….and the damn wolf brats had missed everything. Always late, just like their pain in the a** father. Casion said something like they ran into Tsukiko…but Awa couldn’t smell that b***h anywhere on them. Besides Andrea looked rather sullen, if they had really encountered their awful grandmother Awa expected the girl would be all riled up from fighting. Especially seeing as Tsukiko had never been a fan of their mother. Whatever happened to the twins was something they did not want to talk about. And for now Awa planned to just let them be.

Mixa seemed to be busy explained what they had missed which was great, because Awa didn’t really feel like having to repeat it to the little ones. Awa’s green eyes glanced over the twins and those that had tagged along with them. “I see your father has decided not to grace us with his presence this night…” she said quietly. It was then that her gaze fell upon the taller white haired woman that was with them. There was something that was different about her…it was as if she didn’t belong in this picture. Awa’s right brow rose as she gazed upon the woman out of curiosity. She was practically albino, but her eyes were a striking blue color. It was then that Awa recalled something that Scion had told her. The white german shepherd pup that she had given to the twins when they were born! Scion said that Artemis had undergone a transformation and was now parading around in a human form. Now Awa had always been surprised that the dog had lasted 15 years, but this was far more shocking. “So…..the woman behind you is the dog that I bestowed upon you…is that right?” She took a few steps forward and was surprised to see the albino woman clutch onto the female DaCiana’s arm and shrink to hide behind her. It was an interesting sight seeing as how the dog was taller and even more well endowed then Andrea was. That probably pissed the teenager off, it was like a big ******** you from the universe. Awa just smirked “Curious….” That was all she had to say.

(there will be no disappearing while I'm around!!!!!)

Stray was beginning to feel the itch that needed to be scratched. Her senses were heightened particularly around the area in which the two strongest people had just left. The meeting hall didn’t just attract night crawlers, but the beasts inside. Her nails were beginning to sink into the branch of the tree and the poor thing moaned under them. Her ears twitched on top of her head when she heard a couple of leaves crackle on the ground. Turning her head she looked at the girl who had suddenly appeared. She didn’t seem like a threat at all and that smile seemed to answer her question. Her eyes narrowed at the girl and then Stray was out of the tree and was heading back towards the city. Her speed would not take her long to hit the city pavement and her sneakered feet soon touched ground.

It wasn’t bad to be out of the strenuous environment, but she did miss the smell of pine. The city provided nothing for her senses except to fill them with the icky smell of oil and trash. Sticking her hands deep into her pockets she brought her chin down and walked straight. Her destination was out of mind now, but wasn’t that always the case for a stray. The one thing she did forget on her little walk was that her cat ears were sticking straight up on her head. No one would question the strange ornaments in her hair, basically because dressing up was not a strange thing to see in a city. But Stray of course did not have a headband on and her tail was flicking back and forth behind her. She was in the mood for sushi, maybe even some drinks if she wanted to get caught. Thinking about it she wondered how the Japanese would react with her sitting at a booth with some hot sake in her hands. Snickering she showed a little bit of a toothed grin and looked up. The sidewalk she was on was empty and it seemed no one was pursuing her. Maybe she could find some entertainment in this little place she had found.

Looking to her sides and behind she ran a clawed hand through her silver hair. A scenery change was in order and these battered apartments were in her way. Bringing both of her hands out of her pockets she stretched them out to her sides and began to hear the buzz of electricity. The blue flashes of light materialized in her hands and she craned her neck backwards. The buzz was sending little electric shocks through her bones and she looked at a poor innocent building in front of her. With quick force she clapped her hands together and sent the pulses of electricity she had manifested forwards in the form of a shockwave. The wave was not large in size, but the potency of volts that was coursing through it was deadly enough. The wave rushed forward and then landed on the concrete of the building, sending cracks upwards and down until a loud snapping sound was heard. The beams of the building were not sturdy enough to handle the sudden wave of power that it had just been hit with. Watching as bricks came loose and windows cracked and shattered she smiled. The building was her target, not the people inside. Stray had remembered what that mutt had said. He had said that he would protect anyone who was hurt by supernatural forces, meaning the humans. Stray had not hurt them, not intentionally of course; the buildings themselves were her targets.

Giggling she sent another shockwave to the building next to it, seeing the same results that had happened. She was not done and this building needed to come down. Leaning into her hands she pounced forwards and grabbed the lamp post that was outside the buildings. She put her body weight against it and bent the post towards the buildings, letting it run straight through into a building. There was a crackle as some electricity came coursing through the pole, striking a few humans as they tried to scramble away from the mess. She looked at the people that were running down stairs and hallways and felt a sudden wave crash into her. These were weaklings she was trying to avoid hurting, why was she doing such a thing? Her body was arched as a cat’s and only had the shell of actually looking like a human. She felt the power of volts go through her skin and did not flinch as it began to swirl and pop to her ears. This was her element, but why was she restraining it?

Her tail lashed backwards and it waked a wall with such force it went straight through it. Her eyes narrowed and began to turn back into their natural glowing cyan color. Her pupils disappeared and her skin seemed to melt away. Stray’s body began to compose itself of a pure shadowy black color until there was nothing left but a shadow and glowing eyes. She was nowhere near complete and her human/cat body form was smiling. The shining white teeth were mocking these humans and she tilted her head in pity at them. They were so weak and she had nothing else to do. Some of them had seen her change into this black figure and were beginning to back away. Now that was rude. Why walk away from a figure that they just didn’t know? Her grin disappeared and she crouched down to all fours again. With her back arched and her feline instincts reacting to the human mice she couldn’t help but feel almost playful. Catching the sight of a small child she rushed forward and pounced directly on it, her claws falling deep into its back. Before the kid could let out a scream a pawed hand had covered its mouth, leaving jagged scratches as the claws dug at its lips. Her shadowy form buzzed and shifted as she bit down on the kid’s ear, tasting the blood as it fell into her invisible void. Lifting her body from the kid as it fainted she composed herself and placed a hand on her hip.

Leaning to one side she turned her head and looked at the clog she had made. There was a hallway of humans behind her and they were all starring at her black form, seeing a devil of sorts. Her ears perked up and her tail went underneath a grown man’s chin. She swished it back and forth, comforting the poor beast. Her cat eyes grew wide and that white smile came back. A Cheshire smile it was and it was aimed at all of them. Why ignore her power at this time, with the scent of pine on her skin and the electricity coursing through her? Her tail wrapped around the man’s neck and she then committed her first murder of the night. As the man’s neck snapped the human’s backed away, but they did not go far. She was already upon them with her claws and fangs, scratching out their eyes and biting into their flesh. Why deny the hunger when you felt so powerful…

[I needed to post badly. ^^]
