Sliding caress across alabaster, ruby does bloom
Kissed by the loving glow of the harvest moon.

Annoyance started to rise in the crimson orbs, stealing them of the warmth of her amusement and leaving darkness behind as the fight continued to progress with no real signs of a victor. Her chances of seeing death only decreased as more people arrived, even she would have retreated to kill again at these numbers. A delicate hand lifted and tossed her hair back over her shoulder with a disdainful huff, the platinum strands sliding like silk down her back from the movement, the dark black of dried blood a strong contrast.

One of the new comers seemed to notice her, the first one to acknowledge doing so, and Ellyn arched an eyebrow regally over her dark red orbs as she all but challenged her to do something. However, they all knew that the dawn was fast approaching and her time here was decreasing with it. The woman drew the attention of the second male to the perched vampire, getting her to transfer her gaze instead to the boy who looked like the one in the fight. Interesting, siblings, twins possibly given the similarities. She lifted a hand and waved it like the lady she was as they both returned their attention to the fight, clearly dismissing her. Ellyn's gaze went cold at their refusal to see her as much of a threat and she locked their memories into her mind in order to return the favour later.

However, the fight was also clearly over and her wish for a bloodbath with it. In a graceful move she rose to her diminutive height on the hood of the large truck as the male turned towards her. She meet his gaze evenly as he took her appearance in, letting the corners of her lips lift to flash her teeth in a sweet smile. What he gained from his perusal she did not know, but she had already made her evaluations and so when he called out to her she inclined her head slightly.

"Happy hunting."She purred back at him, her accent thick on her voice as she swept one last look on those still in the area and lifted her crimson gaze towards the horizon that was slowly growing lighter, the hatred that filled her gaze stripped her expression of any humanity. She hated that blazing ball of hell light. In a sweeping gesture she spun around, the bloodstained silk of her clothing swinging wide with the movement as her barefeet crossed the few steps of metal and she lept lightly down to the opposite side of the car. Once there she picked up her pace and began running through the trees. It would be doubtful she was followed, her speed had only gotten stronger with her, but it wouldn't hurt to have a midday snack if one were foolish enough to do so. She was headed towards the mansion that was their layer, and there was more than one mouth there to feed.
One cold black winter night the night spirit appeared to me
He told me where I must go to truly learn how to see, to hear and to feel
Though the road gets darker ahead I know I can't look behind
I must pursue this pure yet impossible vision of mine

User Image Massa looked as Casion took his leave and assured her that he would be back. She just nodded with a smile and stood her ground next to his twin who proved to also be impressively strong. The man was kind enough she thought sarcastically to send to light post down at her but they came for nothing at all when she transformed turning into a impressive and beautiful looking she wolf. She caught the poles and cast them aside. Well, she had to say she was quite impressed with the lycans she had seen in this area and everyone she met seemed to be all about protection. She felt that to be the best part about this place, finally members of her own race that thought like her. She only smiled as she continued to watch the scenes unfold. She turned to the woman who just seemed to be watching waiting for blood. Casion didn’t seem to know who she was either which made it that much worst.

That means none of her abilities were known either. She hated going into battle blindly but she would if she had to do so. Massa never took her eyes off the woman and the mere fact that those once interested eyes turned a devastating cold only showed that they would not see the last of her. As she also took her leave then Massa once again reached behind her back sheathing her shields over her petite body and she turned to look at the female twin. She hadn’t got to actually meet her yet but had heard about her from Casion. She approached slowly with a smile and would wait for her to return to her human appearance.

It’s nice to meet you friendly one. I am Massa from the Egyptian branch.” It was common for them to introduce themselves and the region they were from so they could get grasp on her nature. She decided Casion’s sister would want to know exactly where she came from.” I first entered the city because I heard rumors about weird events taking place and where I’m from that meant paranormal monsters or immortals like ourselves or vampires were running wild. So I thought this was like every other place I went through. Just being overrun but a idiotic vampire or Lycan but when I entered this city then I was attacked by both species. They weren’t normal thought, It was like they had no idea what I was saying to the.

She grimaced at the though of her having to kill them.” I was forced to draw my shields. Never before have I seen any creature with that much killing intent and never have I seen a vampire and Lycan work together to kill someone they have no idea who they are. Which then came the next weird events. I smelled a fellow Lycan and took my chance to follow his signal which was your brother. The scene that I ran into next was a cat like looking vampire holding the girl from the cliff. Which Is when I took action and the girl was dropped in which your brother showed some impressive speed in catching her.

Not wanting to talk the females ears off she cut her story short.” Lastly, he informed of you and this is where I am now waiting for him to return so he can tell me what is going on in this city. This is not your normal events to take place or at least not in my eyes. Other then that, it is still a pleasure to meet you even under such circumstances.” Now that her explanation was out of the way then she had to gather her thoughts. So many weird things were happening here and she just wanted to know if she could find a way to help or be some kind of assistance.

Beaten and bleeding but still going strong, we're riders on the storm
So close to reaching what we have been searching for since we were born
The road to Glory is paved with good intentions or so I have read
Well, the road to Light illumination - decorated with goldand acceptance
As Daylight broke upon the inner city, those up above still continued to monitor the beings down below. At this point they already had a plan of attack, but they still needed to find something. Well, two more somethings to be exact. They already had three of them, they still needed 2 more. The beings that they are looking for are beings to be worthy to be called Guardians. These guardians are special individuals who the heavens have chosen to defend Area's against any kind of trouble or evil. They were created in lue of the Brody incident. They hadn't anticipated such a demonic character to ever rise from the depths of unholiness, and then had the audacity to make a pact with hell to gain even more power to take control of the earth realm. Nothing could ever be that twisted and go unchecked. So the plan was to make 5 powerful individuals and bless them each with a holy talent to ward off the existence of hell, and to prevent anything like that from happening again. So far, only 3 have proven themselves worthy. So the search for two more continues.....

Looking down from above, Michael has been apointed to tap each individual worthy of being called a guardian. His first three picks have been good ones so far, and he plans on maintaining a good balance between Lycan and Vampire, for it will take both talents to defeat what they felt was coming next. The earth got devoured into a dangerous gambling game, where the dice only roll in favor of one thing, the kiss of chaos. So far there has been on individual whom has caught the powerful angels eye, and in due time, that person may be tapped for duty. However, the time right now isn't too good. With the plans they have set up above, it seems the last two won't be called to duty until hell breaks loose......literally.

                                              As she heard her initial vampire name she smiled. Gangrel was such a simple term, almost a mockery to who she really was. Smiling cruelly she walked into the kitchen placing her hands on the cool granite. ”Hmm, guess the cats pointed me out, huh?” Laughing she eyed the cabinets, not exactly looking for anything. Hearing the woman shuffle around Stray walked a little further. The room they were in was only made for one guest, but so far she had coped in making it much more. The hotel was vacant and no one bothered to come visit, even so it had been claimed. Walking into the area that used to be the bathroom, she walked into the next room. It was the same result, but this time Stray had made the place a little more suitable for her style.

                                              The bottom floor had been carved out, all the furniture disposed of and the windows boarded up. Walking into the room, she placed her hands behind her back. This room she spent much time in, debating on what to do next. Blood stains were already soaked into the ground, staying dormant there for all eternity. She smiled at the room and carefully lit a lamp. As she did others turned on as well, each being fueled by the electricity that came from the outside streets. The room was shown fully now, a studio of sorts, but Stray liked to think of it as her own training area. There were no targets around, but she made do…one way or another.

                                              Stray could hear the woman’s voice from the next room. So the Tremere’s name was Tabitha, what a nice name. Stray’s tail curled up and down as she walked along the walls, each step precise. Her dark eyes watched the opposite wall and the smile remained on her lips. The rest of her questions were not answered, but Stray did not answer Tabitha’s either. A trainer? Stray could never remember training under anyone. She roamed between each clan, finding a place to learn with each Camarilla resident. She did not say this aloud though; there was no need for such trivial matters to be spoken about.

                                              Laughing she nodded to herself and yelled to Tabitha. ”Yes, yes the cat does die. But have you ever heard of the term, cat’s have nine lives? Funny how we always dodge the end, even being called the devil’s spawn.” Stray stopped in the middle of the wall and turned her head to look at the mark. The blood that was stained upon the wall was enormous, extending outwards, but it was darker in the middle. She smiled at remembering who this special kill was, the blood was everywhere, even Stray could not move fast enough for the blood to miss her. It would always remain there, haunting her until the end of time.

                                              Stray could hear the woman move, but soon enough she would wander into this room again. Stray stayed silent as Tabitha answered her question. It was quite intriguing, but also pointless. She had followed her to her home, just for the sake of some little girl. The woman wasn’t even there from the beginning, so she had no sense of what was really happening. Smiling she placed a hand in the middle of the stain and clenched her fist. The girl’s fate was never sealed, it could have gone in numerous ways. Stray never did have the intention to…

                                              ”Funny you should bring up the girl again. That seems to be the only topic that people can speak about with me. A small fragile girl in the arms of a blood drinking vampire. A true horror film right there. Everyone could figure out the ending, even an idiot could think of the result. The vampire would either, one, drain her dry, letting her small body slump over and be killed instantly. Secondly, the girl could have been killed almost mercilessly, her heart pulled out of her chest, head ripped off, limbs ripped to shreds, I think you get the picture. And thirdly the one that I displayed. Without emotion I threw her off of the roof, letting her die by the hard cement below, letting the earth kill her instead. I would rather prefer the first one, but the situation led me to the third.

                                              Even so those three options are what we call theatrics, being used to create suspense and make sure people are noticed. But this is the real world and no one can really see what is coming ahead. You arrived when I was holding the girl, barely doing a thing. Then you began to oppose me, showing off your voice and trying to calm me down. You should have known that Gangrels do not take kindly to try being controlled, so I went against you. If you had not arrived at that time the girl would have been released and my little game with the Lycan would have been complete. I did draw the short straw that night, so fate was not with my little game.”

                                              In short Stray never did want to hurl the girl off the roof, but with the situation that proceeded forwards, she was left with that option. Laughing again her eyes looked at one of the boarded windows, seeing the smallest sliver of light coming through. She walked up to it, not afraid of what would happen to her. She lifted a hand up and let the ray of light shine on her open palm. Nothing happened at first, but then her flesh began to change. First her instincts took in and fur began to rise up, shielding her skin, but the sun kept shining through. Her flesh began to burn and Stray smiled at the pain, welcoming it almost. Her hand then retreated and the darkness healed her wound. ”Funny…”

                                              Stray looked towards the doorway and there she stood firm, that small smile upon her lips. Her eyes began to glow and she held up her position. ”If you believe you have to put me down, then come and take my life. I will not go easy, but even still, if your heart says that I must perish upon your hands, and then come take up your arms. Face me in a duel and take it, let my soul wander to Hades and let the dogs eat me alive.” Stray watched the doorway, waiting for her opponent to come and face her…

The boy said, I will break you in two beautiful rose.
The rose said, let my thorns cut you and then you will always remember my face.

                                              Casion thankfully did what she told him to for once. On a normal day they would probably sit there and argue forever first. Andrea continually getting louder, Casion only growing more calm…which only made his sister all the more angry. It was really a never ending vicious cycle. Casion must have heard the urgency in her voice, because he grabbed Artemis and the child then disappeared. Now that they were out of the way, she wasn’t going top have to worry about anything getting thrown their way. The man was surely twisted enough to target the kid and the dog, especially since he knew that she would throw herself into harm to protect them. People who were good natured were predictable like that unfortunately. So with the girl and Artemis being out of the area, Andrea could be more at ease…and face her opponent without worrying about any outside parties. Golden eyes moved to settle upon the scarred man again, and she found him staring right back at her. He was looking as if he had never seen a lycan actually transform.

                                              Andrea stood tall as she stared him down, her tailed swishing lightly behind her. Even when she was in this form, she still had her mother’s beauty, there was no questioning it. Her clawed hands balled into fists as she watched her opponents smile begin to grow smaller. He didn’t seem to like what she had to say, seeing as he had to repeat her. The whole, he wasn’t worth hating thing seemed to surprise him. He was probably not used to hearing things like that. In fact, people probably never talked to him at all, because knowing the sicko he killed them before they could say anything he didn’t like. Well Andrea was a very, outspoken individual, and to her the man was a waste of space that wasn’t worth spit at the moment.

                                              “How about we make a bet, little girl? “ he suddenly spoke again, hanging upside down from one of the lamps that was still intact. Andrea just snarled ar him “How ‘bout we don’t” she sneered. She had a better idea, how about she killed him and then went on with her life. That sounded good to her. “What will destroy us first?”

                                              And with that said, the sound of tearing metal echoed in her sensitive ears. He tore the lamp in two, well that was just great more projectiles. And to make things more irritating, he kept talking. He chattered way too much for Andrea’s liking, which was strange seeing as she wasn’t exactly quiet herself. The man just kept on blabbing about what could destroy her. Andrea just glared at him as he kept listing things, like family. It might just destroy her one day, she knew that. So parts of what the man said had some truth to it. Afterall, Andrea’s own mother had been destroyed for the sake of her family’s safety. If it weren’t for her sacrifice, there would be far more dead today then anyone could even begin to count. He didn’t know the details of course he was a stranger…there was no way he could. The man was just babbling. Andrea wasn’t afraid to be destroyed…not if meant she was saving millions in the process. However she couldn’t tell this guy that…he would just laugh at her and probably start with a while new lecture.

                                              Suddenly, he paused in the midst of his tirade to jettison the pieces of the pole at her. Again with this? He should know by now that she wasn’t going to be touched by those things. All he was doing was causing damage. Andrea quickly moved out of the line of fire and grimaced. “You’re BORING me!!” she shouted as the two shards of the pole whizzed past her quick enough to dig into the concrete street behind her. However, it seemed that was not all he had planned. The minute she looked back at him she saw the number of dark spears flying at her. Well, that was a little more entertaining. Each spear that flew at her was avoided, her body twisting, contorting, and sliding out of the sharp shadows way. Andrea was going to have to thank Grea for training with her. The acrobatic blonde lycan defiantly helped teach her to dodge. Andrea almost looked like she was dancing out of the way of the dark spears.

                                              After five more spears were thrown, they stopped. Andrea twirled around to face old scarface who looked somewhat disappointed. Was it because nothing had hit her? Or was it because the sun was quickly rising. “Why do my fights always end in catastrophic outbreaks?” she heard him questioned himself. That was odd for him to say, I mean didn’t he like to create chaos? That was how it seemed to her. Andrea took a deep breath…she could smell morning approaching. Suddenly the black and white fur began to fall away, and Andrea’s body shrunk in size. With the sun so close top rising, she didn’t need her lycan form to deal with anything else the man might have to dish out. Her clothes were torn from her transformation and hung loosely from her body. They barely covered her, but Andrea didn’t even seem to notice as she stared the vampire down. Bare skin wasn’t something that lycans were shy about after all. “ They end in catastrophe, because you don’t have any other reason to fight except to create disorder” she said quietly. “You are just breeding chaos, so why be surprised that everything ends in catastrophe” And with that, he was on his way. Should she have taken off after him and finished him off? Probably, but something kept her standing in one place…staring in the direction that he had disappeared in. That was indeed the strangest opponent she had ever had.

                                              Suddenly a voice reminded Andrea that she still wasn’t alone. She looked over to see the woman that had been with Casion when he first arrived. It seemed she had not followed him, but instead stayed to watch the fight. She introduced herself as Massa, from the Egyptian branch. Andrea just studied the girl for a moment “I’m Andrea DaCiana from the Ragnar pack….but I bet you already knew that” she said with the smallest of smiles, assuming Casion had mentioned her at least once. Now that the formalities were out of the way Massa launched into this story about strange vampires and lycans attacking her. Andrea was aware of the strange events, seeing as they had been occurring for some time now. However the incidents had been isolated until just recently. Andrea could feel something was coming…..but she just didn’t know what. Golden eyes settled upon Massa “I’ve had only a few encounters with the creatures you just described….but I haven’t been able to figure out…just…what they actually are” Andrea said with a sigh. Although they had to be some sort of ominous sign….because when she had told her uncle about them….he hadn’t looked very happy. Even though she was a guardian…the adults still never told her anything!!!

                                            Casion made his way back threw the forest and finally a night of defending and protecting was over. The other ragnars had already been attending to the human bodies while the sun was beginning to rise. That was a good thing about the numbers of the Ragnars! Now he would have to make it back and see if his sister had destroyed that scared up freak yet! It didn’t take long to make it back and when he did Massa, and Andrea were talking. Seem like they were introducing themselves. That was fine he was going to introduce them both to each other but so far so good. The first thing he did was scan the area and he saw not the body of that vampire which meant he had gotten away. He looked at Andrea with a smirk closing his eyes.” Maybe if you wouldn’t conversate with such weird people in battle then he would be dead. It’s nothing new that your mouth has no limits. Anyway sis, we got a lot of urgent things to discuss. Seeing as how Massa is here then I can make what we know clear.

                                            Casion looked his sister over once or twice and she had no injuries. It was no shock, she could equal him in battle despite some difference in abilities. He didn’t like to show that he was concerned and most likely she didn’t either. Of course there loving sister and brother but they always bickered with each other even in the middle of battle. Some of the elders found it entertaining back in there early training days. Both could never let the other win. One just had a loud nature while the other was always calm. Both attitudes could make the other angry which is why it was never ending. They could talk and move back to the Ragnar den. Massa had been ready to fight to protect the innocent at will so it felt like she was certainly a honorable. “ Let’s go.” It wasn’t the only reason why he wanted to return. He was worried about Artemis and couldn’t wait to see Mazoku hang his head down after Andrea’s words. Why did he seem to keep doing it? He couldn’t help but worry about the twins but they weren’t pups anymore so he would agree with her, they didn’t need to be babied there whole life.

                                            Massa, me and my sister are two of the three guardians that patrol this city but I guess I should go into our history first.” His voice was calm and a proud smile seemed to be inked onto his face.” Our mother, Caska Diciana who was also a twin of Andre both did what we do now, patrol this area. Back then it was to be protected from vampires. They seemed to want to have a freedom of feeding. So, they fought to defend them. This led to a war where a female vampire who is now Methusala rank known as Lady Awa who took his life. This severely weakened our pack because our mother was forced at a young age to lead the pack. Soon she found out about another who was trained to be the leader who is known as Mazoku. Those to led for quite some time but somewhere in between that our mother met, befriended, and swept our father off his feet. His name is simply Scion. He wasn’t given a last name but then again none of his clan every did have a last name. Not much is known about our dad’s heritage and we both were told he has no siblings. All we know about him is that our mother changed what he was back in the day. Though how the elders explain it, it just hard for us to even imagine. We have never even seen him upset and they claim he had a rage problem. Now they don’t share to much information with us dispite being guardians but, my mother saved us from a terrible evil known as Brody. They dare not even speak of the ill he did so actually were just as confused as you are about the matter. I don’t know what that was but Lyra, the third guardian witnessed this attack so Lady Awa was informed as well.”

                                            He dodged a tree swiftly and continued.” Most likely congregation or a meeting of the treaty that we have formed with them will be called to discuss this matter and Lady Awa will enlighten us. Though I warn you be on your guard when we enter. She isn’t the kind of woman that will take kindly to a new Lycan face at the meeting and may assume you are somehow involved but me and Andrea will vouch for you. I am just warning you to keep your guard. Hence the name Barbarian Queen. I am sure they got a visit just like we did so all I can say is your welcome to stay with us for a while until we get matters sorted out. Besides, another protector seems to ease the stress on our duty. Anything I forgot Andrea will surly finishes up on.” With that said he continued to make his way threw the forest. He looked back to whisper at Massa,” by the way be prepared for random outburst of attitude with Andrea, things annoy her easily. He looked at his female identical only in looks and snickered.

                                            Now he had to inform Andrea of who he ran into tonight. There was surly a reason why his clothes were tattered as well.” To my surprise I ran into a gangrel and she wasn’t at all friendly nor did she care about the treaty. She attempted to want to play or her words were fight if I wanted the child back. She’s strong though, and I think she may have even marked me. What was strange is that…..she could take her transformation to another level. So Andrea if you see her, don’t argue or even bother asking her why because I couldn’t decipher any of her logic behind it. Just break her in two. She doesn’t want to be friends that’s for sure.

                                            Finally he gave his calm lungs a break. He had to give her a chance to take it all in.

Each one has to find his peace from within.
And peace to be real must be unaffected by outside circumstances which is why me and my sister will not fail
.Peace is it's own reward and our deceased mother has found that.
You will not sully her honorable name.
LYRA

User ImageLyra woke up some time later. She thought it was still day but because of the blinded windows she wasn’t entirely sure. Either way she was done sleeping, regardless of what time it was. The raven had plenty of energy. She sat down on the edge of the bed and leaned down to put her boots back on. She was going to find Kyran and had a pretty good guess as to where he was. Kyran was usually training. He had good willpower and she admired that. Lyra knew he was a lot stronger then he was letting on most of the time. There where a lot of things to take in to consideration when it came to her best friend. The fact that they didn’t know about his past, or so she assumed. Who knew, maybe he came from some very powerful heritage. One thing she did not know for sure; there was more then reached the eye and that was good, because it kept things interesting.

Later she would need to find the ragnar twins but not until complete sundown which gave her some time. They shouldn’t be hard to find and with the latest series of events they might even call for a meeting themselves. It would safe her a lot of going around in the city although those two where always getting themselves into some sort of trouble so Lyra would probably not be that lucky. Lyra stretched and popped her shoulders. It was still a little stiff from the night before but not so that it bothered her in her movement. Her hair was put up in her trademark ponytail at the side of her head which she adjusted with a firm pull before giving the mirror a last glance.

“ There is a word for that you know.” Lyra commented upon entering the training area and noting Kyran’s bruised and bleeding knuckles. “ Auto-mutilation. If you wanted to bleed to badly you could have just asked me to beat you up.” She continued, a grin plastering a face as came closer and took a gentle hold of his hand to have a better look at the damage. It didn’t seem like anything was broken. There was just a lot of blood. If she didn’t know any better she’d swear he did it to tease her. Kyran’s blood smelled nice. That was the simple truth and she couldn’t help it. But she was a strong vampire. Lyra carefully dropped his hand again, wiping a drop of blood from her finger off on his shirt.
One cold black winter night the night spirit appeared to me
He told me where I must go to truly learn how to see, to hear and to feel
Though the road gets darker ahead I know I can't look behind
I must pursue this pure yet impossible vision of mine

Andrea certainly was more fiery and upbeat then Casion was but there morals were the complete same. She just smiled to her," Yes, yes I did. Its not to hard to tell that you too are almost identical twins. The only thing different I can grasp is your personality and fighting styles." She just smiled to Andrea. Finally a actual Lycan woman that certainly wasn't afraid to show how strong she was. She really did enjoy that kind of determination. It seems that she didn't know what they were and Casion most likely wouldn't know what they fully were either.

This pulled a concerned look to her face and now she just needed to wait for Casion to return. The whole guardian thing she appreciated also. It was rare to find more Lycans other then herself protecting the mortals and there own kind. Most fought amongst each other.Well she could explain to her the kind of journeys she had been threw to past time." I have fought many different beings vampire and Lycan but never seen ones like myself as you are your brother. See where I come from then the Lycans don't bother to hide there presence nor do they care anything about human life. Along with the vampires. Something else intrigues me though, your brother. How can he push his transformation pass the current Lycan state? That i have never seen before. Not to mention that crazy vampire that tried to kidnap the girl could do something similar. Now I know about the exact traits of a specific clan so I assume that you can do that too?"

Massa had so many question and before she could finish her conversation with Andrea then Casion came. He immediately went into explanation about everything that he knew. Most of it came off as very interesting but some was obvious. They were going to have a meeting with vampires? Well she didn't feel to comfortable but if Andrea and Casion was going to vouch for her then she would be just find and she would heed his warning. The information about there history was interesting and there mother sounded like a person that she would have loved to meet and look up too actually. She obviously was a very important woman. As far as there dad then much wasn't revealed about him yet except for his past with there mother. She didn't like to much of the rest of the story though that involved the terrible evil known as Brody.

She had kind of a idea of what was going on now though. She giggled about the comment on Andrea. Well she wouldn't take his word seriously but she understood his joking matter with his sister.

Beaten and bleeding but still going strong, we're riders on the storm
So close to reaching what we have been searching for since we were born
The road to Glory is paved with good intentions or so I have read
Well, the road to Light illumination - decorated with goldand acceptance
I'm suffering from a bad case of Amnesia.
I can't remember who I was.
What I did.
Or where I even came from.
They took me In and I am Kyran.
I am grateful for th person I have become.
I'm not sure If I want to know who I really am.
To bad fate doesn't work the way we want it.

                              Kyran continued onto his training. He could not just let the others do all the fighting. It made him feel less of a man even though in vampire years he really couldn't be classified as that. He was still a fairly young vampire and had much to learn but he knew when he wasn't useful which was not a comfortable feeling. He wanted it to come a point in time where he could protect Lyra. Up until now she had saved his life plenty of times over and it really wasn't a problem because they were teammates and he hadn't had the chance to save her yet. She was strong and he could appreciate that which is why he never complained about it so his training was meant for one thing, so one day he could be her shield. He would shield her from any attack no matter what it caused him.

                              Why? Well because she was there for him always ever since she had found him. It was that simple. So in return he would willingly give his life for her more than anyone. She gave him this life that he loved and he would only let it be taken away for her. Which meant in battle the only thing that ever went threw his mind was the will to survive. It may not seem like it because of his joking manner but that's just the way it was. He was training so intently he hadn't even heard her enter. Well, stealth was there forte right? Soft voice left her mouth and he could only chuckle at her words. He turned to her with blood dripping down his knuckles." Well, I could have but I didn't want to wake your beautiful self up. That's all." He looked down as soft hands of Lyra grasped his hands and she seemed to be examining him.

                              Was she worried smelling his blood in her sleep? Well that was a possibility regardless if she didn't want to show it. Maybe this was the perfect time to share his feelings. It would be a shock to come off serious to her so why not? He watched as she wiped his blood that had got on her finger on his shirt. Yeah, this was perfect timing." You know all these years we could share more than blood?" He tried not to laugh about it but either way you look at it, it still came off perverted. His blood hands gripped hers and he would try to be as serious as possible." No, like what I truly meant was how I feel about you is, well you see, um, JUST LET ME SHOW YOU!" The prankster had been nervous? Well, that was something new. After grasping her hands he only could pull her close and it seemed he was coming in for a kiss and a fellow assamite walked by and stopped to stare.

                              He seemed to be smirking and being nosey.Kyran looked up and just stopped. That idiot had just ruined his perfect chance. For a brief moment his eyes turned a crystal color blue with a glare. After a split second they reverted back. The assamite just left but the question was, what had just happened to Kyran? That had never happened before had it? Kyran looked to Lyra and released her hands but not seperating the space between them. He leaned and whispered in his ear,"I'll tell you soon enough babe." He had only leaned in to whisper his last words so she wouldn't see the blush on his face. He would thank that idiot with his fist for interrupting them.

Amnesia is what they call when a person forgets?
No,
I call it a change in reality.
Some people don't want to remember who they are.
I am one of those people who like my life.
I like the people in it.
I wont trade them for anything...even power.
My loyalty is unmatched.
If there is a God.....only he can help me now.....

"I can't believe, you of all people have the nerve to show your face!" The manner in which Vester was bellowing was very uncharacteristic of him, but the shadowy figure that had made his pressence known was obviously unnerving to the older vampire. This shadow started to walk forward towards him, eyes glowing a deep crimson as if they were drenched with the blood of his own soul, glarring a deep penetrating hole through vester's body. "I thought you of all people would be happy to see the one who gave you such strength....."

"GET AWAY FROM ME! his lungs rang out like the liberty bell, as he lunged forward at blinding speeds at the figure, only to tackle through what would be nothingness. Stumbling a bit in the abysmal surroundings, Vester regained his footing and his composure slightly, although he was highly confused as to what had just happened. The same shadow figure appeared behind him again. The mere pressence was so taunting that Vester had lunged out to strike again, only this time he had connected with it, Violently slamming it to the ground, and immediately gathered his strength to punch a hole straight the heart of the being. Turns out that the shadow figure was caused by a long black cloak, and when he had punched through this things body, the hood started to slide back, like a dainty veil, revealing the face of someone who he would have rather not seen in a situation like this....Lain. Thrown into shock and panic he leaped up to his feet, now he was Hyperventilating at what had just happened. Looking around frantically for something else familiar, but it was nothing but darkness and void. Where was he? How did Lain appear there, when it didn't even look like their home anymore? someone was playing mind tricks with him, and he couldn't even begin to figure out who. he hadn't even thought of that b*****d as a chance because he was supposed to be dead. "This has to be a joke....has to be..." he thought quietly as he started to walk back over to the body that he had impaled with his fist alone.

STanding over it he noticed that the hood was covering it again. Ok, now this was just rediculous. Peeling the hood back slowly as if it were christmas, he revealed the face again assuming that it would be lains Pale, fragile yet beautiful face. Instead it was something else. now he was looking at Kendric Leingod, his former master, and the one he was forced to kill because of the curse. "Dont' you love seeing those that you hurt? whether it be physical or emotional, you hurt people, and that is why you belong to me..... That voice.....he knew it all too well. How did he get in his head again? Wasnt' he dead? didn't Caska kill him? What in the hell was going on? he could feel another panic attack coming on, and he viciously swiped at the body, only to see the illusion vanish right before his eyes, and his fist. using his lure of flames he created a fireball to try and light the area, but the light itself only revealed more nothingness. An eternal shadow that stretched as far as his enhanced eyes could see. He casted that fire ball off to the front of him, only to see the light trail until it was no longer visible. It was official. Where ever this was, it wasn't home, and he was hoping that the nightmares were over once Brody was defeated. Obviously he was completely wrong. Vester stood perfectly still in the middle of this void, knowing that moving was pointless, since he was literally no where."I have to wake up.....its the only way to keep my sanity..." he thought himself. Only one way he could wake up, and that was by something tragic happening to him, or something so terrible that it disturbed his being. Only thing is, his fist going through lain should have been enough to wake him up, but now he was convinced that this was something more. "don't worry....i will let you wake up in due time, but i'm having little fun right now.

"You b*****d...." his mumble was more of a growl, as he tensed his body up, creating a flaming aura, that was sure to wake him up, seeing that this would throw him into a Rostcherek Rage. his plan started to work, as beyond the flames, he started to see what was the setting of the room he and Lain had fallen asleep in. Releif started to set in the back of his mind, and in an instant, he had sprung awake in a cold sweat. sittng up, he looked down to see Lain sleeping peacefully, and immediately he knew something was off. Lain never sleeps peacefully, let alone sleeps really, and the fact that she was laying down, and not sitting up reading a book, or sitting in her favorite windowsill with the cat was another sign that this was a joke."brody leave me be....."
"Ah, very perceptive my old friend. I hadn't realized that your awarness and perception had gotten so much more powerful. I guess i should let you wake up then...."
The fact that he had figured out that he was still in an illusion botherd him slightly, and the fact that Brody was talking to him bothered him even more. He wasn't sure how to feel exactly. but he knew that he had to wake up. Looking around the fake room. he noticed that there were no doors either. Now he couldn't walk out to find something to waken him if he tried. Turning back around he decided to see if there was anything different about lain, only to see her Sitting up right glaring at him in a manner he knew he would never see in real life. He fangs were bore, and she had lunged at him trying to bite. out of reflex he blocked her by shoving his forearm into her chest and shoving her away. That was when he noticed somethign else different. Her outfit was very tight and form fitting, exposing her curves around her bust and her hips. Now this was just messed up of Brody, using his fantasy against him. He knew that lain would never dress like that, and also that she would never lunge at him. Seeing her hit the wall, and hitting her head, she slumped over, now slow to move. That was enough to keep her at bay.

As he turned around he was surprised attacked by something he didnt' want to see. "SURPRISE b***h!!!" Was all he heard when brody's fist collided with his heart, and the pain that shot threw his body jolted him awake, nearly flipping backwards out of the bed and crashing into the wall behind him. He had hit his head in the same manner that he had made lain hit her head in his dream illusion. Rubbing his head and standing to his feet he looked around. The room door was there and closed, the cat sleeping in the windowsill, and Lain had drifted to sleep sitting up in the same position that she had been in when they were talking. This was alot more normal. The sun was still up, but it was dusk. Nightfall was right around the corner. he was about to relax, when he thought about the fact that it was the next night. He rushed over to lain's calender that she had marked up on each day of a full moon. he could tell because she had labled those days with a phrase "calm him down...." and that label was on the current day. " I will see you soon...."

"BRODY!!!!" He shouted as he heard that wretched voice in his mind, echoing like a cymbal crash in a small hallway. His bellow was loud enough to disturb the cat, which hopped down from the windowsill to come and rub against Vester's leg. It was always interesting how the cat was never afraid of him, nor he of it, and how it always did that when he was upset or worked up. Purring loudly, the cat was vibrating against his body, as he knelt down to pick the white feline up. "thank you, i needed that..." He said gently as the cat gave him an acknowledging and gentle meow, now nudging against his chin. He walked over and placed the cat on the bed next to lain, and went' back to laying on her leg, but this time he was wide awake, as his mind was now racing 1000 miles a minute....
I hate many things

order for me to even befriend

as a warrior. If you do that then I
will give and guard you with my own

                                                      This one had no dreams at all just a silent and uncomfortable sleep knowing that a worthy challenge was out there and ready, waiting for her and that was fine with her. It wouldn’t wait to much longer. Whoever it was, it was going to pay for the disrespect and in her eyes treason for what was done too Novious and Loki! She still had a very close and probably her best friend alive standing strong and that was enough to keep her going and not send her into a blind rage of revenge. But, there was no need to get anything mixed up, that glory of revenge she would have but she was calm about the entire situation. Her icy blue orbs shot open and she sat up looking out the window to see the sun finally setting. All she could do was hiss in delight. Tonight, she would be visiting a old friend and catching up on good times and discussing how they would break every bone in the one’s body who dare insult Lady Awa for taking away her love. The only person who was even allowed to touch her. The very one who turned her and yet someone dare snatch him away?! There fate was already sealed. It didn’t take long for her to slip her clothes over her curvy figure and her mask back on. The last thing she grasped a hold of was her b*****d sword.

                                                      She opened the window starring as the annoying sun finally had hid it’s cowardice face and she leaped out of the window. Her hair flying upward as she descended downward like a sudden drop on a rollercoaster and she landed softly and gracefully on the ground. She tensed her body cracking her joints and she stood up straight taking in multiple scents. She only needed one but these senses of hers would not allow her such an unproblematic task. No, she had to also pick up the disgusting scent from the smelly pooches! Just taking in there scent was enough to make her want to cover her blade with lycan plasma. How could Lady Awa sit here and take it? Surly the women’s resolve was stronger then anything she had seen including her assamite followers and that’s exactly where she was heading.

                                                      Of course Awa could feel her presence and so she would have already known she was on her way. It didn’t take hrer long to find her way threw the small city and it wasn’t like she hadn’t been here before. It was just annoying how some of the lycans that she could easily smell regardless if they were in there human make up stared at her. It was almost insulting that she could not just break them. They didn’t seem to want to stare at them longer which was a good thing for them because she would have easily told them if they didn’t keep there eyes to themselves then she would have no probably tearing there eyes out with her nails. She just turned aside and gave them a cold scowl. Finally the assamite manor had come into view and it seemed that no lycan’s scent had even come close to this place. This caused her to smile seeing that her friend was just the same as she always had been.

                                                      Mixa, should have realized the higher security that would be placed here so when she approached the door then an assamite who happened to be a speedy one came from the side of her with a poison tip sword ready. He showed no fear in attacking, his first thought was to kill. This was the kind of people she needed to be around, warriors of this kind of nature. She smirked and surly if he would have been more advanced she would have gave him the honor of her sword. Her hand raised and she grasped the middle of her blade before it impacted her skin and she smirked behind her mask.” The fact that you follow orders to attack who you don’t recognize is very impressive. I would love to give you the honor of death for your mental mindset but tonight isn’t your place for such glory. Please inform Lady Awa that Mistress Mixa is here.

                                                      She couldn’t help but beam proud fully at him threw his mask. He didn’t realize it was her but had heard about her and he bowed.” Mistress, I apologize I wasn’t aware it was you. I will get her right away. Please do come in and wait in the meeting hall. I am certain she will be down soon.” She walked in following behind him and as she passed by she saw Lyra. It had been a very long time since she saw the girl but she was becoming a full fledge warrior in which she already knew would happen. She had been trained by Novious, and Lady Awa and perhaps Loki. She would look forward to watching her kill many Lycans. As she passed by she stopped and looked at the girl. She didn’t want to interrupt so she bowed to the young one acknowledging her and waving.

                                                      Soon she realized who was chatting with her. Was that Kyran? It wasn’t hard to notice that at first sight because the boy was always with her. He was growing up to be quite the handsome one eh? She hoped he would have gotten slightly stronger because sadly to say he showed no potential like Lyra did. Hell, after all this was over she would like to train the young beauty too. Young vampires such as Lyra were hard to come by and giving them up easily was not to her liking. There was always something strange about Kyran. Almost like something didn’t add up. It was almost as if he was hiding something. Either way she gave the boy a wave as well and continued walking where she was taken to the meeting hall. The assamite guard rushed to most likely go inform Lady Awa and Mixa would continue standing until she arrived. Now this was going to be a better night!

LAIN

User ImageIt wasn’t exactly a big secret that Lain didn’t sleep much in general. Insomnia came with her vampire existence. She could go for days without sleep without being affected by it and she was used to it by now. A long time after Vester had fallen asleep she was still awake with her hand repeating the same soft stroking motion over his hair over and over. Her eyes where fixed on the clock which counted down the hours till sundown. This night would be a full moon. A strange feeling twisted her gut. Something warned her this night might just be different though and not necessarily in a good way. She could end it before it went spiralling out of control. However, what good would it do them? There would always come another full moon and if it wasn’t the moon then there was something else. It wasn’t like she complained though. Lain had always known that choosing to stay by Vester’s side would be hard in every possible way. Valentine had warned her for it before he died but no matter what else could be said off Lain she never ever went back on her word. Ignoring the restless feeling she looked down at the sleeping face on her lap. How much longer before the end?

It was little past four in the afternoon when she nodded off into a light slumber. Her body used the precious time she rested to restock on energy she needed in order not to collapse during the night. But unlike usually her sleep was not dreamless. First she was plagued by Valetine, sitting behind his famous desk. It seemed he was talking to her but even though his lips where moving the sound didn’t reach her ears. The cat was sitting on the desk and was staring at her intently as if willing her to wake up. Lain blinked in confusion. Looking at her now you would see the frown on her face and notice the slight increase of her breathing. It was strange for Lain to dream but it could perhaps be explained by the unhealthy energy Brody caused even if only in Vesters dream. Lain wasn’t aware of any of that but she was clearly affected by it somehow.

The image of Valentine shattered in front of her eyes. This time she was outside. The city was completely dark. Not a single light could be seen for miles like there had been some major black out. The rain was beating down and drenched her to the bone within seconds. The blood she was smelled in the air was not strange by itself but there was so much of it there was hardly any doubt about the slaughter that had taken place somewhere near by. Lain’s feet moved on their own accord. She didn’t no why she was walking in the direction of massacre but couldn’t stop herself from doing so either. She turned a corner, now facing a clearing between buildings. With a slight flicker and as if on queue all light turned back on as if giant spotlights. Lain blinked and shielded her eyes from the brightness. The blood was making her nauseous. Slowly she opened her eyes. Dead lycan, dead vampires, dead Vester. A sharp intake of breath and something that seemed to burst from within her body along with a blood chilling scream.

Lain’s eyes snapped up. Her cheeks where wet from tears and she was shaking. She was so dazed at first she barely even noticed Vester was still on her lap and it took her a few minutes before she came back to her senses. It had been so real. Too real and she had felt something she had never felt before, not even when Valentine died. But Vester was not dead. He was alive and breathing and on her lap. Lain slowly looked down on him. She wasn’t sure if he had noticed she was awake, he seemed to be a million miles away even though his eyes where wide open and he looked like he had one of his nightmares again. Lain broth her hand back down to touch his face. “ Are you alright?” She willed her fast beating heart to calm down. If there was anything she had learned the past years then it was how to quickly and succesfully hide her emotions. She wasn't quite sure if that trick worked on Vester though. It was worth a try.
LYRA

User Image~ “ JUST LET ME SHOW YOU!” ~

With those words suddenly blurted into her face Lyra’s smile faded and she gave him a curious look. What the hell was he talking about and why was he being so nervous? That was not like Kyran at all. Kyran was loud and had a big mouth. He was a lot of things but nervous was not something she knew him to be but he grabbed her hands and pulled her closer. He caught her off guard when he moved in for a kiss but Lyra made no attempt to push him away. Just because she never really thought of them that way didn’t mean she wouldn’t like to try. It a little bit cruel maybe since Kyran seemed to like her that way and Lyra really had no idea. So in a way in would be using him. Their lips almost touched and then Kyran suddenly stopped. What the hell. Was he teasing her? But then she noticed the other assamite that had walked by and was staring at them with an amused grin. Talk about bad timing. She was about to open her mouth when the older guard walked away with a somewhat horrified expression. She frowned and turned her gaze back to Kyran who was still making a point of invading her personal space. For a second there she thought there was a strange glint but before she even blinked it was gone and left her thinking she had imagined it.

Lyra pulled back when his breath tickled in her neck. Well just now surely was a new experience. A mischievous grin flashed when she noticed his blush which he had tried to hide and she couldn’t help but to make a little fun of him. “ You look very cute when you do that, BABE.” She said stressing the last word a bit to tease him. “ Do it more often.” She patted his cheek and turned around. It wasn’t till then she noticed the woman in the hallway and a smile of recognition crossed her face. “ Lady Mixa!” She exclaimed abandoning Kyran in an instant to be in front of the woman in a matter of seconds. Lyra made a bow for the powerful warrior. Even though she had seen her only once Lyra had a keen memory for powerful people. Nice as it was to see lady Mixa again, Lyra couldn’t help but to wonder what she was doing here. If her memory served her well then she thought to know Mixa hated lycan’s and this particular city was always swamped by those. That might be a little problematic if they where to have a gathering. Lady Mixa killing the other two guardians would not a good idea. Then again Lady Awa could deal with that.

She turned her attention back to Kyran after a moment and gestured for him to come over. She wasn’t sure if they had met before. If lady Mixa was going to be around for a while then maybe they where lucky enough for the woman to help them with their training a little. “ Will you be staying long?” Lyra asked the warrior woman, happily holding out her hand for Kyran.

                                              Andrea looked at Massa when she mentions the differences between Casion and herself. And yea, they both looked the same, but when it came to the way they acted…they were polar opposites. Casion was normally very calm, whereas Andrea was somewhat of a wild child. Massa went on to explain that where she came from, lycans and vampires alike disregarded human life. That seemed strange to Andrea, but only because she didn’t usually stop to think that most lycans didn’t have the same ideals as her clan did. “ I s’pose the Ragnar pack is just odd then” Andrea said with a little shrug, “We follow the same values of our founder, Decebal DaCiana.” Andrea had never known any other way of living. When Massa mentioned Casions’s advanced Lycan stage Andrea was somewhat taken aback. How did she know about that….the only way would be for her to see it herself. That meant that Casion had unleashed his advanced stage.

                                              While conversing with the blonde stranger, her twin made his grand reappearance. And he seemed to notice that scarface had gotten away from her. How could she tell? Well he felt the need to bug her about it “Maybe if you wouldn’t conversate with such weird people in battle then he would be dead. It’s nothing new that your mouth has no limits.” Andrea just narrowed her eyes at her brother. “Yeah..well…your ugly!” touché silly puppy. Only one problem, they were twins, so if he was ugly what did that make her. Andrea quickly regretted what she said, that was what she got for speaking without thinking first. Before Casion could point out her stupidity Andrea just shot him another withering glare “shuddup…” she hissed, as if she was just daring him to say something smart. The young woman just crossed her arms over her chest in a huff, and looked away from both Mass and Casion. Why had she let old Scarface go? I mean the sun was coming up, she was stronger and quicker…everything was tilted in her favor. Andrea felt that it was odd that she couldn’t even begin to explain why she hadn’t pursued him. Thankfully Casion didn’t ask…

                                              “Anyway sis, we got a lot of urgent things to discuss. Seeing as how Massa is here then I can make what we know clear.” Casion went on to say. Andrea just shrugged her shoulder in response, basically just saying ‘whatever’ only with body language. So they all began to walk, heading back towards the den. Andre was eager to see how Artemis was, yet at the same time she was dreading having to listen to Miria. She was probably going to postal on her about leaving on her own without telling anyone. Geez, she was such a pain. And then there was the matter of uncle Mazoku. He was going to get an earful about his interference, and the funny thing he probably knew it was coming. He may be the reigning alpha of the pack but that didn’t change the way Andrea treated him. He was still just her uncle, not her leader. And knowing her father he would just hang back and watch, and try and keep from laughing. Andrea had a tendency to flail her arms and stomp her feet like a child when she was upset…it was sometimes humorous.

                                              They moved swiftly, and Casion ran his mouth the entire way. Andrea stayed relatively quiet for the time being…just listening. Casion spoke of their mother to Massa, explaining the past events that their pack and the city had to endure. He pretty much said everything there was to say, explaining the treaty with the vampires and everything. “Anything I forgot Andrea will surly finishes up on.” Seemed to be the ending of his winded speech. Andrea just arched an eyebrow and looked at her twin. “I think you talked her ear off enough already…don’t think it’s necessary to add anything…might be a bit of overkill don’t you think” she snorted. He touched base on pretty much everything there was that could be important. Suddenly Casion whispered something to Massa, and Andrea shot him a glare”I heard that you idiot.” They were lycans…enhanced hearing and all that junk came with the territory. Massa giggled, probably amused by their bickering…or more like Andrei’s bickering. It was a rather one-sided argument.

                                              Casion pretty much ignored her and then went on to explain why it looked like his clothes had been pureed in a blender. Maybe now she could get a better understanding of what Massa had been talking about before he showed up. She hadn’t been the only one to run into trouble tonight then. Well that was a nice change, normally she was always the one getting herself into messes. What he had to say intrigued her thought, the girl he fought could take her transformation to a new level? Massa had mentioned it, but hearing it from her twin solidified it in her mind. “ So I take it you pushed your transformation as well then” Andrea said with an arched eyebrow. “ The gangral must have been quite the handful. But don’t worry I’ll get rid of her if I see her…I won’t say a word to her…Just Wha-BAM....she's dead!!” that was unlikely…Andrea not having anything to say was laughable.

                                              The Den soon came into view and Andrea just smiled "Home sweet home" she said, looking over at Massa.

                                              ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Time Skip~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                                              A Full moon night, a night that andrea always felt more energized, all lycans did. Yet at the same time, it made others uneasy. Probably thanks to past events possibly beginning to repeat themselves. Andrea had spent the last couple of days verbally abusing her uncle, who eventually just began to tune her out. And the yelling eventually began to get on everyone's nerves, and only ceased when Miria dragged her away from the poor alpha and threatened to lock her in her room. The older woman then just walked off muttering about how Andrea was almost as annoying as Grea.
                                              Well When Andrea wasn't bugging everyone in the den, she had been nestled up against the wall just next to Artemis' dog bed. The old dog wasn't doing to hot after her run in with old Scar face. In fact she hadn't even been able to get up and walk very far without having to lay down to rest. But god did the poor dog try, Andrea eventually had to force the old german shepherd to stay in her bed and not strain herself. Which was harder then one would think. Artemis kept trying to follow her or Casion whenever they got up to leave the room. The old dog took her job of watching over the twins that seriously it seemed. So Andrea had to stay in to room with the old dog as much as possible to try and keep her from going anywhere. The only time she left the canines side was when she had fallen asleep. That way Andrea could slip away without worrying about Artemis trying to follow. It was difficult for Andrea to think that Artemis was just getting too old...
                                        "Ikke gjør det avreise meg" Awa’s voice was choked as she cradled Loki’s broken body, speaking in her native tongue. The battle raged on around them, but Awa didn’t seem to notice. “Don’t leave me” she repeated, this time in English. This wasn’t how it was supposed to be. They were suppose to live an eternity together, that was what he had promised her when he turned her centuries ago on that battlefield. And she had only just gotten him back, she was not ready to lose him for a second time. “It’s not fair….” Her throat was tight as grief washed over her, tears spilling from the barbaric woman’s eyes. The stone cold exterior broken away, revealing a softer…more human side. It was a side of her that would be closed off to the world by a steel wall thanks to the loss of her love. Never again would she feel for another being this intensely…it wasn’t possible.
                                        As the light left Loki’s eyes in her dream, the light also left the sky. Night had fallen, beckoning the nocturnal beings to awaken and be apart of the night. Awa’s eyes opened, and the image of her dying love vanished…replaced with the sight of the empty place he had left in their bed. Dreams….how Awa wished she didn’t have to have them anymore…why couldn’t she just have a silent nights sleep for just once…devoid of any sorrow. This was just like how it was before when Loki had been presumed dead. She pined for him during the day, and met with him only in her dreams. It made waking up all the more painful, because his face would fade away and she would wake up to an empty bed chamber. Only this time, she had no hope that her love was alive out there somewhere. He had died in her arms, she had watched him take his last breath and witnessed the life drain out of him, and it had nearly destroyed her. Her hand moved to brush over the place where he used to sleep at her side…sliding over the soft sheets. The rest of her eternity would be lonely, and devoid of warmth. It was time for her to accept it.
                                        Awa rose from her bed, casting aside the furs that acted as her blankets and moving to her window. She drew the impenetrable black curtains back and let the moonlight wash into the room and over her unclothed body. It was full tonight….and a full moon never brought good things to this city. Lady Awa just sighed and moved to her grand armoire and quickly selected a black gown with golden trimming. The woman was always dressed in the grandest of fashions from across the ages, always looking like royalty. As she was adorning herself with the vast amounts of jewelry that she possessed there was a knock on her chamber doors. “State your business or leave ” Awa called to whoever it was on the other side of the door. “A Mistress Mixa is requesting to see you.” Well that was shocking. “I will be right down” Awa responded quickly, putting a few more jeweled rings on her slender fingers. Mixa was probably the only vampire that Awa could consider a close companion…they were what humans called..BFF’s …or something else equally silly. Slipping on a pair of golden heels Awa quickly slipped out of her chambers and made her way to the grand staircase.
                                        Her shoes clicked as she moved, and Mixa soon came into view as she descended the stairs. It seemed as though the younger ones had gotten to her first. Lyra looked exctited to be standing in Mixa’s presence. And Awa simply smiled “It has been too long Mixa” Awa said as she laid eyes on her old friend, she was as statuesque as ever. The best female warrior that Awa had ever witnessed…other then herself of course. "You look well"
